I call bs on this. I've heard nothing but bad things for the insignia. Oil problems mostly...can anyone else confirm this?

Japan makes the best cars. reliable, cheap and efficient
Dopest (2 days ago)
i mean, kinda obvious that a car with ALOT more and higher tech such as bmw/audi, will be less reliable than a car that doesnt even have an infotainment screen.

Me and my Alfa Romeo are feeling kinda lonely...

Bmws are like 3% of all cars here in germany, but you see like 80% of the breakdowns are E60 and F10 bmw's, i swear to god.
Horst Lüning Army (2 days ago)
1st Jaguar XF and 2nd bmw 5 series F10, sounds like the top ten of most unreliable cars ever made since humans existence.

As if any VAG car which are the champions of all kinds of weird gremlins, especially engine and electric gremlins due to low grade engineering, could be the champions of reliability!

This survey is proper bull shit.
Nathan Cash (27 days ago)
Volvos are nice cars. I have owned two xc90s. From my experience the problems (very expensive ones) start shortly after warranty runs out (3 years). This data set is only for new cars in their first three years. Look beyond that and I think we would see a completely different story.

This list is bull shit, German or Japanese
cobberbrimo (1 month ago)
Lexus isn't on here but going through Autotrader there seem to be more high mileage Lexuses than anything else, especially the LS400. I agree BMW's have bad build quality but it tends to manifest itself after 5 years.

Every car has a fault. Depends on how you treat them and maintain them
Jarrus Killa (1 month ago)
everyone calm down it's just a survey dont dislike of you dot agree

So much for Audi & BMW German reliability- said as an Audi owner. Was thinking of moving to another brand anyway. Well done Volvo/ Kia.

Murdock John (1 month ago)
I agree with Volvo but I’ve owned the latest Mercedes, BMW and Audi. Out of the three Mercedes spent more time on the RAC recovery wagon for major faults such as a new gearbox. That’s my experience with a 67 plate c class
Metroid Mayhem (1 month ago)
This survey doesn't seem very conclusive. Like what was the fault category?
Ashwin Vignesh (1 month ago)
Interesting that Brits have a very weird way of looking at things. The result points out just that

Wadud Miah (1 month ago)
Faults also depends on the style of drivers. There maybe a correlation between brand and drivers, so I don't think this is clear as it seems.
Dan Ked (1 month ago)
BMW was indicator not working
Andy Mace (1 month ago)
Right. No Lexus. Not even mentioned. That’s accurate then.

Dacia is by far the most garbage brand. It's like a modern day Yugo.
I love your channel and know you do reviews on many foreign cars. Is there a way you could do reviews on American cars as well?

Lexus LS 430. You can't beat an 05-06. And later a Cadillac DTS Platinum 2011. And a Mercedes E 350 -2009

Joseph Namour (1 month ago)
Peugeot is the best that's right.
Whyman1993 (1 month ago)
Rubbish ..... everyone knows German and Japanese cars are the best and most reliable
George Morley (1 month ago)
As a BMW owner I can well believe that the brand suffers more faults than other marques, especially electronic failures. I have had about a fault every two years for 7 years on a 59 plate 3 series. None mechanical. All electrical. I think I want to try a Japanese or Korean brand to see if their electronics are better balanced with the mechanics. I feel that my experience with German cars shows that their mechanical engineering is perhaps too strong, with the electrical suffering consequently. Classic example; traction control sensor failure causing spurious readings and wear on the rear drive shafts. The drive shafts would probably have gone another 100k with nary a problem but it was the wheel speed sensor that let the side down. Other issues were the power steering sensor (fixed under warranty) and the tyre pressure sensors hating non run-flat tyres (again, electrics not in harmony with mechanics).
Thanos Kladas (1 month ago)
WTF Mercedes make out less problems that audi and bmw that is a lie, Mercedes is the most unreliable brand ever
Quadmeister 00 (1 month ago)
And they say audi an bmw are one of the best😂😂
Luke Goeie (2 months ago)
Bmw is still the most beautiful in my opinion😛
4wd some (2 months ago)
This survey is terrible, Peugeot's are up because they are cheap they last those few years but after that they shit the bed after those few years Volvo's, Volkswagen's, Toyota's and Mitsubishi's shine because they will go on forever. And the meat hook abortion that is the FPH Audi was the second least reliable, Volkswagen wasn't on the chart and Skoda were second best WTF they are all the same parts with different trim pieces
Lester Matthew (2 months ago)
Jaguar most reliable in large cars? Ah bullshit.
Faiz Misrak (2 months ago)
Saw volkswagen on the list... *stop watchin*
BMWdayWhatyouwant (2 months ago)
Kia more reliable than Toyota... And Volvo also more reliable than Toyota, Merc and BMW? Surely there's something wrong with those statistics!
MrNukedawhales (2 months ago)
its a stupid survey, to be honest. in germany the adac (german aaa) releases every year a statistic of how often they get called per model. https://www.adac.de/infotestrat/unfall-schaeden-und-panne/pannenstatistik/suchergebnis.aspx?pklid=9&pstatid=10&ReturnUrl=5A21BuupBoLpCuPp5zX1BuPxzVII0AEwBLZ4z6IKzuaCCTP1zucyCTP1zuX1CzZwxT2IxT2A5AZ4BuPKzga10oLJyeuJCzZwxT2FHmkJ this is their statistic for middle class cars for the year 2017 (there is a more in debt list with more cars, but i guess youd have to pay to get it (or its only aviable offline) and it also reflects, which car models are bought in germany...). translation: modell = model, Jahreslaufleistung = average milage per year (in 1000km), Pannen im Kalenderjahr 2017 = incidents in 2017 per 1000 registered cars , EZ = year of first registration, Opel = Vauxhaull. audi and bmw are top, but much more important, way more reliant than mercedes. mercedes is struggling with reliability for years now. how is it even possible, that it was better rated in that video than bmw and audi? ... and jaguar on top? must be a british survey - im sure in an italian survey alfa romeo would win.
mixwb (2 months ago)
Come on, you don't even need to be a car guy to know BMW isn't the worst brand lol. And I dont own one
kordax mint (2 months ago)
You pay: You're in the top. You don't pay JD Power, your brand will be mixed in shit, haha!
riccccccardo (2 months ago)
I’ve got an Audi B7 and spent thousands over 10k fixing shit on it and still issues remain some Audi known issues such as OIL CHAIN PUMP FAILURE and some wires etc etc nightmare never again I wanna Lexus next.
chinojarjos (2 months ago)
The now with electronics anything can be a fault, mechanic faults are the real problems faulty transmissions or cheap gear boxes are the most common issues.
Mortaja Martinez (2 months ago)
4 years with a volvo V40, not even a lighting pilot xD Smooth car as in its first day.
E36 M3 (2 months ago)
There is nothing more expensive than a cheap old german car
Adam Woodward (2 months ago)
BMW'S are shit
XGeohound (2 months ago)
I call total bs on this one.
Joe Bordo (2 months ago)
This is bs. The more options a car has the more of those votes it will have. A bmw 3 serie with zero options will have less problems then one that is full option.
Harry I (2 months ago)
Try a survey on which cars are on the road who have done 250,000 miles and are still going... that’s a proper survey.
