Tech Support Scammer Steals Christmas!

68 ratings | 1344 views
A big thank you for all you subscribers who help me pass the milestone of 1000 subscribers for my small YouTube channel. It means a lot to me! :D It is Christmas time in the fictional island of Choad Island when suddenly the power station for the island shuts down. It shuts down when the main computer system displayed a message saying it detected Viruses, Trojans and malicious files on it. It told the power station operator to phone up a number for tech support! In a panic, he immediately called up the tech support number! He quickly explained the situation to the tech support person from India of the problem. The tech support person asked the power station operator what computer is he using? The power station operator responded by saying he is using a Siemens Simatic S7-300 control system. The tech support person then went on to say that she could not help fix the problem. Feeling helpless and upset, the power station operator said that 5000 people of Choad Island can’t celebrate Christmas without power from the power station. The tech support person did not seem to give much care to the situation. It was then when the power station operator accused her of being a Grinch who stole Christmas from the 5000 people of Choad Island! As always, Never fall victim to this or any other scams from unknown suspicious callers! It's like these scammers expect an easy scam job by expecting and assuming everyone is using a desktop "Windows OS " PC. Most do, but it's great seeing someone give them a hard time whether using Windows or Linux OS for example. The next time they call i will say i am using Oracle Linux 7.2 just to f them up! : O
