very superficial video. doesn't even know what "to scratch a surface" means. the beer with creators is so void of any discussion or information or counter argument from their side.. why? my guess is that there just isnt anything much they can say to defend themselves.
Ash Wynn (2 months ago)
The voices are still roboty so it's still just a novelty for now
EatWave (2 months ago)
Those clone voices have definitely undergone some pretty extensive clone degeneration. It is better than old school voice synthesizers and vocaloids but this is still too stilted, hazy and slow to be mistaken for the real thing by anyone looking for authenticity.

Same exact technology they used for the "victims " on the planes calling their families on 9/11 Who calls their mother and tells them their name? Americans have been so dumbed down is scary

This plus the new Google service that will call companies and set appointments has a lot of great applications. Imagine having google call your accountant and acheduling an appt with your voice, or having your voice heard when you call a doctors office to set an appointment? I like the positive implications here

It should be banned. It is to dangerous to have in normal public settings and for anyone in the public to be able to access and use. This is one of the things that SHOULDN'T be done. There needs to be world wide agreement on what things to tackle with AI and what things to stay clear of. Think of all the children that could be abducted due to their "parents" calling them over near a van or building etc.
