Turmeric Atherosclerosis is when the arteries harden which is caused by inflammation. Pomegranate Fruits rich with antioxidants improve the walls of the arteries. Broccoli Broccoli is a good source for proteins for vegetarians. Broccoli contains vitamin K which is beneficial for bone formation. Fatty fish Seafood is beneficial on various levels - mental health, brain, vision, building muscles and also acts as a potent anti-inflammatory. Nuts Almonds, walnuts or hazelnuts are heart-friendly nuts. These nuts contain vitamin E that can protect the walls of the arteries. Monounsaturated Fats (Olive and/or Macadamia Nut oil) Olive oil is known to have several health benefits, but it is one of the best oils to prevent a buildup of cholesterol in the blood. Cinnamon Cinnamon has many benefits. The first is that it lowers fats in your blood, which helps prevent blockages in the vessels. Oranges Oranges are great because they’re high in vitamin C, which helps lower the stress hormone, cortisol. Tea Tea has many health benefits, especially for your heart. One of the best is green tea because it helps improve your metabolism, which can help you lose weight - which is always beneficial for your heart. Watermelon Watermelon contains an amino acid called Citrulline, which helps increase nitric oxide levels. Spinach Spinach contains carotene, which helps prevent cholesterol from getting clogged in the arteries. Tomato Like in pomegranate and tea, tomato too contains antioxidants that protects the arterial walls. Beans Beans contain fiber and folic acid, which prevents arteries from getting clogged. Apples Like oranges, apples also contain the fiber, pectin … which absorbs cholesterol from the blood. Grapefruit The pink grapefruit is rich in antioxidant lycopene, which is also present in tomatoes. Pink grapefruit helps prevent damage to your arteries and doesn’t affect blood sugar levels very much. Asparagus Avocado Chia Seeds The fiber and alpha-linolenic acid contained in just two ounces of Chia seeds, can help keep arteries clear by regulating blood pressure, reducing LDL cholesterol, lowering triglycerides, and increasing HDL cholesterol. Coconut Oil Disregard the old myth that all saturated fats are bad and the leading cause of cardiovascular diseases like atherosclerosis. Whole Grains I know a lot of people think carbohydrates are bad, but they aren’t. Ginger ======================================== ======================================== Thank you for watching. Can I eat oatmeal only to clear arteries?
Dr Sam Robbins (8 months ago)
No. They can help keep them clean, but don’t think that oatmeal will fix it. Take more soluble and insoluble fiber, healthy fats and Blood Flow Optimizer… reduce simple sugars as well.

Every morning for breakfast I have two eggs (yolks runny from a previous testosterone video of yours that you mentioned) along with a half cup of oatmeal. In my oatmeal I put 1 tablespoon of extra-virgin organic coconut oil and 1-tablespoon of chia seeds with ground cinnamon. I know you’ve mentioned not to fry the eggs or to cook in olive oil, but due to time, I cooks the eggs in either olive oil or Kerrygold grass-fed butter over low heat Monday through Friday. Saturday and Sunday mornings I poach my eggs and place them over two slices of low-sodium Ezekiel bread. I’ve been eating this breakfast for quite some time now and can go quite a while between breakfast and a late morning snack or even lunch. And consuming the coconut oil and butter I’ve noticed weight loss (inches off my waist). Just these items for breakfast alone gives me enough energy to get through my morning and most of my day.
Dr Sam Robbins (1 year ago)
Sounds great Rob! I've mentioned in this video somwhere that olive oil is not that good for cooking, so it would be better to use more butter.
