This is because we all have different genetics, hormones, metabolic types and also, BODY types. So one question I ask someone if they were to email me such question is, “what’s your somatotype”? ... 99% of people have no idea what this means. So then I ask, “are you an ectomorph, mesomorph or endomorph?” Still, most people (over 90%) still don’t know the answer to this question and it’s a shame, because it’s a very important variable which can determine how much food you can or should eat, let alone the TYPES of foods and most importantly, the ratios of macronutrients - proteins, carbs and fats. This is why some people do very well on a high fat, low carb diet (ex: ketogenic) - they look and feel better. While someone else will have very little energy and lose lots of muscle and thus, they will do better on a higher carb, lower fat diet. So, if you’ve had a hard time losing fat and/or gaining muscle or basically improving your body composition - then it may not be your fault. You may be eating a healthy diet, but one that is not well suited for YOUR body type (somatotype). What?! No just no. This whole body type thing is bs. There's a positive correlation between metabolic rate and lean body mass. The leaner you are the faster you convert food into other things such as energy, therefore your "body type" can change over time. Your telling me you can tell what someone's body type is just by looking at them? What about contestants on the biggest loser who lost a considerable amount of weight? Are they still "endomorphs" after the show is over? Stop over complicating it. To lose weight you need to be in a caloric deficit i.e. burn more calories than you need for your TDEE. Exercising makes the process faster. Include weight lifting if you want to gain muscle. To gain weight and muscle eat more calories than your TDEE and lift weights, whether it be body weight or actual weights.

The kito diet is not long time sustainable but good for short-term weight loss goal, provided that you do not exercise, considering that you need a normal portion of carb to keep up with your daily training regimen. Also those pictures of "body type" look like, first, someone skinny but not muscular, second, someone muscular but shred, and third, someone with big muscles but not shred. Basically you can look like any of these 3 pictures, based on your nutrition regimen and training thecnic, according to your goal.

Dont believe this body type thing. Its fake. If I'm overweight and lose all the weight would I be considered an "endomorph" still. No! If you gain a lot of weight and became over weight would you not be considered a "mesomorph" as you claim? No! Your just intaking more calories than your TDEE requires you. Your "Body type" can change.

Yes because your "somatotype" can change. Look at individuals who have lost a lot of weight and are now living a healthy lifestyle. Would they still be considered "endomorphs?" According to "Doctor" Sam Robbins, yes, but the answer is no.

I'm closest to an ectomorph. I can't build muscles for the life of me but eating carbs, like breads, rice and potatoes blur my vision. I felt better with keto and lost 30 pounds of fat around my middle, but I also lost tons of muscle mass. I'm allergic to wheat so I can eat breads a pastas. Let's face it! I'm a mess! LOL! Eating is so hard for me because nothing I do makes me feel good.

Muscules development does not come simply because you are lifting any weights, it comes because your effort of pushing to your limit is greater than your current capacity every single week, so you are giving your body a reason to change. Some people are having more hard time building size more than others because of their gene, however, it does not mean you can not be as big as they, it just mean that you will have to train harder and take longer to build the muscles you wish for. I can tell you this because I have a hard time building muscle and I was 140 pounds, very skinny like the first picture referencing the body type, however, I am 170 pounds with muscles now, just like the second picture in the body type presentation, after 3 years of training hard. Regardless of your "body type" which is B.S. Just research about how to train and eat to achieve a shred but muscular body or a bodybuilder body (big muscles but with less definition).

+The Roo I really appreciate it, yes I heard zinc helps! 😀👍 I'm interested in DHT mainly for the beard factor but the other benefits/side effects many of us would like to increase regardless of balding. DHT does not have the capability of converting to estrogen regardless of levels in the body unlike other types of testosterone which can aromatase, and that is a BIG PLUS! 💪🦁🐂🦍🌋

Unless you have a low T and are disinterested in sex I wouldn worry. He has done plenty on testosterone and increasimg it. Generally grt plenty of sleep and do 3 heeavy barbell and weights training workouts a week, but for never longer than an hour. Get some zinc too and sort your diet out so it's mainly meat and vegetables
