Medicare Supplement Plans 2019 | What Do I Need to Do? Christopher Westfall

08:33
http://SeniorSavingsNetwork.org 1-800-729-9590 2019 Medicare Supplement Plans | What Do I Need to Do? If you are on a Medicare Supplement plan, this end-of-the-year Medicare season has nothing to do with you, except for the need you have to shop your drug plan. Medicare Supplements (not to be confused with Medicare "Advantage" plan), do not change benefits and you cannot be canceled from such a plan. Your Medicare Supplement, whether Plan G, Plan F, Plan N, etc. will remain with the same benefits as when you signed up. What can change? The rates. If you are notified of a rate increase, you can shop your Medicare Supplement plan ANY time of the year, not just in October, November, or December of each year. You are in complete control and there is not a "season" for shopping Medicare Supplement plans. Medicare Advantage plans change every year and it is critically important that you shop those plans during the small, eight-week period of the "Annual Election Period." We do not specialize in these plans due to their complexity and the number of problems we have seen with senior clients on these, sometimes "free"/no premium HMO plans throughout the country. My Medicare Supplement shopping service is 100% free. If you would like to know the BEST plans available where you live, please call me at 1-800-729-9590. You can actually call 24 hours a day here. We will get you the best, unbiased, independent rate information customized for what you qualify for, which is far different than just giving you a "quote engine" and having you look at companies that might not even be available for you, given, your health qualifications, etc. If you would like to NOT have to become and insurance agent in order to figure out the best plan and you would like some behind-the-scenes help from an agency who has helped thousands of clients in 46 states over the past 25 years, please call my office. There is no charge for my help. How? The same way there is no charge for your auto insurance agent's help, or homeowner's insurance agent. We work the same way. By being independent, we work for our client, not the insurance company. This way, we keep your best interest in mind when shopping the market. We will show you all of the available companies, then make a recommendation based on our actual experience with those companies in your market. This experience is priceless in the selection process. Please let me help you. http://SeniorSavingsNetwork.org 1-800-729-9590 Christopher Westfall Medicare help More helpful videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmU0KdQuxbU&list=PL9io3Cp5sglCDzPtiKBsNDMPbqfFJSsvE I-M-P-O-R-T-A-N-T L-I-N-K-S Best Medicare Plan Information 1-800-729-9590 Call 24 hrs Our site: https://SeniorSavingsNetwork.org (Secure) Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/SeniorSavingsNetwork/ Best Medicare Videos: https://seniorsavingsnetwork.org/bestvideos Subscribe here on Youtube: https://seniorsavingsnetwork.org/youtube Make sure to also click on the BELL icon when you subscribe! Medicare Advantage vs Medicare Supplement 2018

Medicare Advantage vs Medicare Supplement 2018 the facts you need to know. 844-528-8688. Compare Medicare Supplement Prices https://mymedicaresupplementplan.org Get Free Medicare Academy Video Course: https://mymedicaresupplementplan.org/medicare-academy-enrollment/ Call 1-844-528-8688 for FREE quote on your Medicare Supplement or for any advise on a Medicare Advantage vs Medicare supplement. As discussed in this video https://youtu.be/TRMX3LZJ2bU Medicare Advantage plans have many differences to a Medicare Supplement (Medigap) Plan. The biggest is the network, in a Medicare Advantage Plan you will be required to stay in Network for all your Medicare procedures. This fact alone can cause some major problems if you need a specialist or care facility out of Network. The second biggest issue is that the plan can change at any time and you are locked in for a year. Your best option in most circumstances is to go with a Medicare Supplement during your original open enrollment and then making a change next year if you feel it is not a good fit or that the premiums are much to high. _________________________________________________________________ **Dont miss a single Medicare Supplement video Click Below to SUBSCRIBE** https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpeawY2B_hUuZhV26QAwRuQ?sub_confirmation=1 _________________________________________________________________ Loran Marmes Medicare Solutions Team 844-528-8688 https://medigapinfo.net/ Facebook: https://business.facebook.com/medicaresolutionsteam

Top 3 Medicare Supplement Plans 2018

08:07
Contact Me: MedicareScreenShare@gmail.com My Website: http://www.medicarescreenshare.com Top 3 Medicare Supplement Plans On The Market Today Okay lets look at the Top 3 medicare supplement options in the market today. Lets get right into the presentation. Okay you have 15 different plan options to choose between to supplement original Medicare. The plans range from plan A to Plan N and cover some to all the gaps in Original Medicare. We will just be looking into the 3 most popular plans instead of confusing you with all 15 different coverage options. Looking more into plans F, G and N you can see why they are the most popular plans and why their market shares are growing so quickly. Plan F is the most popular because it is the easiest to understand and covers 100% of the gaps in Medicare. So if you enrolled into Plan F and have a Medicare approved claim, it will cover all the deductibles, coinsurances, and copays of Original Medicare. Plan G is also a very easy to understand plan with it coving 100% of the gaps in Medicare with one exception. That exception is that Plan G does not cover your Part B deductible. The Part B deductible in 2017 is $183… The last plan we will be comparing is Plan N. Plan N also does not cover your $183 Part B deductible much like Plan G… There is also a $20 copay for doctor visits and a $50 copay for emergency room visits that do not result in impatient admission. Lastly Plan N does not cover part Part B excess charges. Part B excess charges are when doctors or specialist charge up to 15% more then what Medicare is willing to pay for a test, sugary, or procedure. Plan F was on average the most expensive at $130 dollars, Plan G was $104, and least expensive was Plan N at $85. This is very consistent with what you will find throughout the United States. Now lets compare the three. Comparing Plan F to Plan G is very easy. All you need to do is some simple math to find out that Plan G will cost on average about $312 less a year than Plan F. Then subtract the only difference between the two. And if you remember the only difference is the $183 Part B deductible. So your net savings with Plan G after taking into account all benefit differences is $129. So with a Plan F you are paying an insurance company $129 a year to pay for your Part B deductible. And you can even pocket the whole difference of $312 if you do not go to the doctor at all… Some other factors to look at when comparing these plans is that Plan F will no longer be available to new enrollees in 2020, but you can keep your plan as long as you like if you signed up before 2020. Plan F ending will create a closed risk pool most likely leading to higher rate increases for Plan F after 2020. It is also important to point out that Plan G and N have had historically lower rate increases than Plan F in the past as well. So just because plan F is the most popular plan on the market does not make it the best. Comparing Plans G and N is a little more difficult. Again after some simple math you find out that you can save $228 a year with Plan N over a Plan G. But you need to factor in the Part B copays with Plan N. The $228 dollar difference between plans G and N is equivalent to 11.4 $20 office visit or 4.6 $50 emergency room visits. So you would have to have quite a few office or ER lists to make up the difference in cost, but do not forget about the Part B excess charges with Plan N. You can avoid these charges by only working with Medicare Assigned doctors, but the risk of being charged 15% more for a test, sugary, or procedure is one of the reasons why Plan N is less expensive. So excess charges are an important factor when deciding between Plan G and N, but if you are in great health then Plan N could save you a lot of money especially if you continue to stay healthy 5 to 10 years into your Medicare enrollment. Now which is the best of the three. Well I would have to pick Plan G in most cases. It is close between Plan G and N, but the safer long term bet is with Plan G. Now if you are exceptionally healthy you should seriously consider Plan N especially if the cost difference is over $200 a year. But remember if you do pick Plan N just always make sure your doctor except Medicare Assignment to avoid any Excess Charges. And finally Plan F. Plan F is only for the person where money really does not matter. Thanks for taking the time to check out this quick presentation and I hope you found it helpful. What is Medigap Insurance and Do You Need It?

08:59
Get Medigap Help: https://www.remedigap.com or call 888-411-1329 In this video, I'll explain how Medigap works, how you're responsible for the 20% Medicare won't cover. I'll also provide a case study on someone who needed to get Medigap - but waited too long and was unable too due to a health issue. ---- Medicare only covers 80% of your healthcare costs, leaving you with the remaining 20% coinsurance with no out of pocket maximum. The entire 20% is your responsibility and doesn’t reset at the beginning of the year. I’ll tell you how Medigap works to protect you from that 20% coinsurance so you can make informed decisions about your benefits. So, what is medigap insurance and do you need it? Whether or not you need Medigap insurance is a personal decision and definitely an important one as Medicare only covers 80% of your healthcare costs. And because Medicare doesn’t have an out of pocket limit, the remaining 20% can continue to grow leaving you financially vulnerable. And, no one wants to be in a vulnerable position - especially when it comes to your money. Most people are used to coinsurance. You probably had it at some point. But the main difference between your under age 65 health insurance and Medicare is the out of pocket limit -- which Medicare doesn’t have. Now, If we take a look at the average person visiting the doctor a Medicare Part B claim might be $100. Medicare pays 80% of that...so, $80 and you pay $20. You might be thinking, “no big deal”. A few doctor visits a year isn't going to break the bank. And that’s true for many people. But you need to take two things into consideration -- #1 You don’t know what the future holds in terms of your health. #2 Medicare doesn’t have an Out of Pocket limit. This is where Medigap insurance comes into play. Medigap is private insurance that’s meant to fill in the gaps of what Medicare doesn’t cover - such as the 20% coinsurance. And, The most popular plans F, G, and N will cover that 20% coinsurance...offering you financial protection and peace of mind. When you first enroll in Medicare, you get a one time use it or lose it opportunity and it’s called a Medigap Open Enrollment Period. This is when you can put a Medigap plan in place without answering any health questions or go through medical underwriting. So, if your Part B effective date is February 1, the Medigap Open Enrollment period allows you to buy a plan and have it begin in Feb, Mar, Apr, May, Jun, or Jul...it’s an important 6 month window, because when it closes -- it can’t be reopened. Why is that so important? Think back to that 20% coinsurance. If you decide to not add a Medigap plan during your Medigap Open Enrollment period, then you leave yourself financially vulnerable. And, If you decide to add a Medigap plan later when something happens, it just might be too late. After 6 month window closes, you have to answer the health questions and get approved by the insurance company’s medical underwriting department. So there’s no guarantee that a policy will be yours. You’ve now put the decision making in the hands of the insurance company. So, are you still wondering what is medigap and do you need it? If so, make sure to watch this video. The good news is you don’t have to make a decision right this very second. In fact, you might want some more information or even some more guidance. So, I have more good news, you don’t have to look very far, because help is right in front of you...hello! Give me a call or send me an email if you prefer and I’ll get your questions answered and help move you through the process. Medicare Supplement Plan G vs F vs N (What's Changing?)

Medigap Plan G. I discuss what you need to know about Medicare supplement Plan G vs Plan F and Plan N. I also compare Medicare supplement Plan G vs Plan N and Plan F. I compare Medicare supplements (aka Medigap Plans) to help you make an informed decision about which Medicare supplement is best for you. For most people turning 65, Medicare supplement Plan G will offer the best value today. However, there are changes in the relationship between Medicare supplement Plan G and Medigap Plan F and Plan N that you should be aware of before you make a decision. In this video, I will show you these changes and discuss how they may impact your decision making as you decide if the Plan G Medicare supplement is right for you. Plus a simple technique you can use to evaluate which plan is right for you. This is for two reasons – first; because the previously popular plans Medicare supplement Plan F and Plan C are being phased out as of January 2020. Second, Medicare supplement Plan G is usually a lower premium AND a better value. Most people shopping for a Medigap Plan today find Medicare supplement Plan G as their best value. Let’s take a quick look at the Medicare supplement plans so you can see why: . In the column below the Plan letter you can see the percentage of insurance coverage offered by that plan. For example; Medigap Plan F show 100% coverage in each category all the way down. That means that Medicare supplement plan F covers 100% of all the co-pays and deductibles that you would normally have to pay with Medicare Part A (inpatient hospital coverage) and Medicare Part B (outpatient coverage). It’s a great plan and would be an easy decision for many people entering Medicare, except that it is being phased out in January 2020 and Plan G usually offers equal benefits for less money. Take a look -- Medicare supplement Plan G has all the same benefits except this row right here: Medicare Part B deductible. That is a calendar year annual deductible. It resets every January 01. It can change every year. In 2017 it’s just $183. We expect it to increase to $250 over the next five to seven years. That’s it. All you pay is the annual Medicare Part B annual deductible and your premium. Other than that, Medicare and your Medigap Plan G pay all your Medicare related in-patient and outpatient expenses. The math here is simple, if Plan G is $183 less in premiums per year, then it would be exactly equal to Plan G. You pay the $183 deductible out of pocket, then you have all the same benefits as a Plan F. However, Medicare Supplement Plan G is usually $300 to $400 a year less in premiums than a Medigap Plan F. That means you can pay the $183 Medicare part B deductible out of pocket and have money left over. That makes it a better value. People considering a Medigap Plan G often compare the price and benefits to a Medigap Plan N. Plan N usually cost much less than Plan G, but there is a catch! In fact, Medicare supplement Plan N can cost 25% to 35% less than a Medigap Plan G. However, Plan N has less coverage and an asterisks you need to be aware of. Just like with Medigap Plan G, with Medigap Plan N you pay that Medicare Part B deductible out of pocket. The asterisks indicate that you will also pay a small co-pay of up to $20 when you see a doctor, $50 for an emergency room visit. Medicare supplement Plan G is for those who want peace-of-mind. Once you have a Plan G you don’t have to worry about co-pays or excess charges or anything. You can see any doctor, whether they charge excess charges or not. You pay a little extra, but you have peace-of-mind that your healthcare is taken care of. for Part D drug plan info visit: http://www.medicare.gov Also visit : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medigap Get your Medicare Guide to supplements here: https://www.medicare.gov/Pubs/pdf/02110-Medicare-Medigap.guide.pdf And your Medicare & You Guide here: https://www.medicare.gov/pubs/pdf/10050-Medicare-and-You.pdf #MedigapPlanG #MedicareSupplements #Medicare #MedigapSeminars #MatthewClaassen

How to Choose a Medicare Drug Plan - 1-877-88KEITH (53484)

09:40
How to Choose a Medicare Drug Plan. Complete Medicare Resource Center here: http://www.MedicareonVideo.com 1-877-88KEITH (53484) Important Points to Know about Obtaining Medicare Drug Coverage When enrolling for Medicare you can get coverage for prescription drugs. Medicare drug coverage is available through private insurance companies approved by Medicare. There are different ways to obtain the coverage with associated costs that vary depending on other coverage used with this plan. It is important to know how this works with other insurance you have in order to get the best coverage. Here is what you need to know about this option. How Do You Get Coverage You have two options to get drug coverage including through Medicare Part C Advantage Plan or through Part D Prescription Drug Plan. The most common way is through Part D. This plan can be used with original Medicare and other plan option such as a Medical Savings Account (MSA) or Medicare Cost Plans. Part C or Medicare Advantage Plan includes using a PPO or HMO along with benefits similar to Part A and B. You may be required to sign up for Part A and B in order to obtain Part D with Part C. Medicare drug coverage options may vary and could change depending on what Part C covers. Associated Costs and Getting Help Your income will determine how much you pay toward prescription drugs. If you receive Social Security you can have costs deducted from your Social Security payment. You may be required to satisfy an annual deductible before the drug coverage starts to pay. You may be required to pay a copay or coinsurance after paying a deductible (if your plan has this requirement). There are drug plans with different tiers that show how much you could pay depending on related costs. Generic drugs may have cheaper copay than name brand. The copay can be anywhere from a few dollars to $10 or so. The coinsurance is roughly a percentage of what the beneficiary pays before Medicare insurance covers costs. An example may be 20 or 25 percent. When you pay for drugs you are paying for a month supply unless stated otherwise. There is potential for out-of-pocket costs to be paid by the beneficiary if the insurance does not cover the cost, but in few cases this is rare. Additional Tips on Drug Coverage You can get help paying for Medicare drug coverage if you qualify. You may need to provide proof of documentation to show your eligibility for assistance. Such options may allow you to pay just a few dollars for medicine. You can obtain help when you are receiving medication and before your supply runs out for the month. The amount you pay for your plan varies based on drugs used, plan option, where you go to obtain prescriptions, if the drug is on the formulary approved by Medicare, and whether you qualify for assistance in paying for drug costs. You may qualify for assistance by your state if you receive Medicare Part A and/or Part B coverage. Enroll for coverage during the initial period to avoid paying penalites. This plan helps cover gaps left from Medicare coverage Part A and B. The plan is similar to popular option plan F and common choice for those seeking supplement plan coverage. This high deductible plan is known to have lower premiums depending on service coverage, but in the long run it can help make healthcare costs easier and affordable. Here is a brief summary of what you should know about this supplement plan. What Does Medicare Supplement Plan F HD Cover? After the annual deductible plan F HD covers the deductible associated with Part A coverage. The plan covers the deductible for the year period and three pints of blood. Plan F HD covers coinsurance of a hospital stay for 61 to 365 days. Coinsurance for skilled nursing care facilities and hospice care is also covered. For Part B insurance about 20 percent of costs approved by Medicare, the yearly deductible and excess charges from Medicare (what Medicare did not cover from a service), is covered in Plan F HD. Foreign travel health emergencies under Part A or B are covered. Medicare Part B premium payments are not covered under Plan F HD. Keep in mind income guidelines for Part A premiums apply. This means you could be responsible for paying Part A premiums if your income is high enough; in this case Plan F would not cover the deductible. What Costs Are Associated with the Plan? Applicants can get a quote detailing how much they would pay under Plan F HD. Applicants close to their 65th birthday may be eligible to receive lower rates. This is obtained through the open enrollment period which continues for a few months after your birthday. You can apply if you are seeking Part A or B coverage. During your initial enrollment you can't be turned down and medical underwriting is waived. Plan F HD helps cover the first 60 days of hospitalization. If hospitalization continues past 60 days Medicare pays a specific amount each day and Plan F HD will pick up what is left over. If hospital stay is continuously needed after 365 days Plan F HD could pick up all costs. The number of days Plan F HD covers for skilled nursing and hospice care varies. This plan also has other factors that help determine your costs such the age you obtain coverage, the premium amount issued based on your age and community rating in which people in a certain age bracket would pay the same premium amount for their policy. Additional Details to Know Medicare Supplement Plan F HD Compare other supplement plan options for Medicare costs if Plan F HD does not seem suitable. This plan has a high deductible version that is recommended for those in good health. Plan G is the most common alternative option to this plan. It offers similar coverage but is considered affordable considering deductible costs you have to pay before the supplement policy covers gap expenses.

Plan N Medicare Supplement | Impact of MACRA on Plan G

24:12
https://SeniorSavingsNetwork.org 1-800-729-9590 The data is in. We are already seeing insurance carriers compensate now for the impact on Plan G which will happen on January 1, 2020 when the MACRA law will make Plan G accept Guarantee Issue seniors. This impact is making Plan G rate increases higher and higher across the country. If your health allows it, you should strongly consider, right now, applying for Plan N which will NOT have to accept Guarantee Issue folks losing coverage elsewhere. This will continue the trend we are seeing now. It will keep your Medicare Supplement rates as low as possible. See the data in this video. Medigap Plan G. Complete Medicare Resource Center here: http://www.medsupsavings.com/ 877-88KEITH (53484) Best Medicare Supplement Plan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGqCGQNF5mw Medicare Plan F – Just Say NO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OE29IMXbNU Medicare Plan N - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vORbZsWDrzg Medigap Plan G Explained: Coverage and Cost Details You Need to Know Medigap Plan G is one of several comprehensive supplement insurance plans to help with uncovered costs not paid by Medicare. This plan is usually purchased when you sign up for Medicare Part A and B coverage. There are other supplement plans providing similar coverage for those with Medicare plans. This supplement plan provides an option that allows beneficiaries to save throughout the year on medical costs when they satisfy their deductible. This plan is commonly compared to other supplement plans including Medigap Plan F. What Medigap Plan G Covers This plan is similar to Plan F except it does not pay the deductible in Part B coverage. Plan G helps cover coinsurance, out-of-pocket costs, excess charges and copayments. Services that Plan G pays in full includes Part A deductible, Part A copayment and coinsurance for hospice care, Part B copayment or coinsurance, Part B preventative care coinsurance, Part B excess, and the first three pints of blood. Foreign travel insurance is also available up to specified policy limit. Plan G also covers hospital costs and coinsurance for a year (365 days) after Medicare exhausts payments. This plan along with Plan F is the only supplement insurance options to cover all excess expenses up to 100 percent. The excess payment is often the responsibility of the patient; these costs are passed to the patient when Medicare is not accepted as a form of payment for services. Plan G Supplement Option and Availablity The premium payment for Medigap Plan G may be higher than other supplement options. This can be a good thing for some people as the plan itself helps pay more of what Medicare doesn’t cover. The premium payment for the plan may be higher, but the plan itself is standardize. This means other companies offering this coverage have to keep terms similar in nature according to federal regulations. The insurer sets the rate you pay but it should be about the same as other companies due to standardizing. Upon satisfying your deductible you pay 20 percent of costs for supplies and services for Part B. Part B has a premium payment paid monthly that is separate from the premium paid with Plan G. The Plan G policy can be obtained in your home state but rates may differ depending on company. Some states may not have this supplement insurance plan available as they are under no obligation to offer it. To learn more about this plan you can contact a licensed insurance agent or contact Medicare for more information. There is detailed information you can review about other supplement insurance plans to help you make an informed decision. It is recommended to sign up for supplement insurance when signing up for Medicare Part A and B. Most cases you are required to have Part A and B coverage before you can enroll. When comparing supplement plans pay close attention to services and costs they cover. ================================================== QUICK AND EASY MEDICARE SUPPLEMENT QUOTES http://www.medsupsavings.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Med-Sup-Savings/1709195569306815 Twitter: https://twitter.com/MedSupSavings LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/pub/keith-armbrecht/5/11b/3a0 YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/BigHealthGreatWealth

Medicare Supplement Plan G (Updated 2019) - Is it the Best Plan? #Medicare Supplement Plan g 2019

05:41
Learn Here about Medicare Supplement Plan G - https://www.Medisupps.com or call 888-891-0229 Medicare Supplement Plan G | Is it the Best Plan? Why Medicare Supplement Plan G will once again be one of the most popular Medicare supplement plans for 2019 as well as 2020! Remember Plan F goes away in 2020! It's easy to overpay and end up in the wrong plan, and with the wrong Medicare Supplement insurance carrier. Let us help. It's FREE! Medicare Supplement Plan G in 2019 does not have any changes to the benefits. As for Medicare Supplement Plans in general, no new plans were added or subtracted, and the same plans remain the most popular for people. With Medisupps.com, Finding Medigap Plans has never been easier! We helped thousands of people just like yourself, including those who lost their employer retiree healthcare benefits. We can show you the BEST options available in your area for Medicare Supplement Plans, at the lowest premiums. And Medicare Supplement Plan G for 2019 is definitely a great option, especially over Plan F which is removed from the Medigap lineup on Januart 1st of 2020. Are you just turning 65 this year or in 2019 or 2020 and wondering what the best Medicare Supplement plan is? Many agents will tell you it's Medicare Plan F. They'll say it's the best plan because it covers everything 100%. While this is true, they're not writing the check for the monthly premium each month for you, are they? You need to look at all of your options, and Medicare Supplement Plan G is always always a better choice than Plan F. Medicare Supplement Plan G is almost identical to Plan F except for one small deductible. We also realize how confusing things like Medicare Part D 2019 plans can be, and we're here to help! In fact Plan G is becoming increasingly popular, and my guess is that more and more people turning 65 will end up on Medicare Supplement Plan G in 2019 even over Plan F. And although nothing is written in stone yet, it is quite likely that if the government does decide to make any major changes to Medigap plans they will likely first go after plans that offer what is called "first dollar coverage". This means Medicare Supplement Plan F and Plan C, as these plans begin paying 100% the very first day people get enrolled. This becomes quite costly for everyone if people start visiting their doctor for every little health problem. So why choose Medicare Supplement Plan G in 2019 or 2020? You'll save money on Plan G! Not only are the premiums lower, but the rate increase each year average far less than Medigap Plan F. Even after you pay the Part B deductible yourself you almost always end up saving money with Plan G. In some cases the savings are incredible. For instance with people age 70 and above in many zip codes you can save hundreds of dollars per year by going with Medicare Supplement plan G rather than Plan F. Learn why Medicare Supplement Plan G in 2019 could be your very best choice for a Medigap plan and what it might cost you if you go with Plan F. One important thing to remember is that regardless of which Medigap plan you choose, each insurance company has the exact same benefits and coverage for each plan letter. This means a Mutual of Omaha Medicare Plan G has the same benefits of a Plan G from Aetna or Cigna. This is because the plans are standardized by Medicare, who chooses what each plan's benefits will be. That however, is where the similarities stop. That's because each insurance company is allowed to charge different monthly premiums for the exact same plans and benefits. This means if you choose the wrong company it could end up costing you hundreds or thousands of extra dollars per year! One of the most popular companies will be for AARP medicare supplement plans in 2019. At this time there is no AARP Medicare supplement Plan G. Medicare Supplement 2018 - Plan F vs Plan G - Which Plan is Best?

03:52
Medicare Supplement Plan F vs Plan G-Which Plan is Best? CLICK HERE http://seniormarketsolutions.com - 1-800-784-8969 Cullen Teska from Senior Market Solutions talks about the differences between Medicare Supplement Plan F and Plan G. Medigap Plan F has historically been a very popular plan as it offers the most coverage for Medicare costs. In recent years, however, Plan G has increased in popularity because of its affordability. The 2 most popular Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plans are Plan F & Plan G. Should you choose Medigap Plan F or Plan? For those with Medicare, Medicare Supplement Insurance (also called Medigap) can help ease the burden of potentially high out-of-pocket costs such as deductibles, coinsurance and other fees. When comparing Medigap Plan F and Plan G, you'll see there's only one major difference in benefits — Plan F covers the Medicare Part B deductible and Plan G doesn't. Medigap Plan F Coverage With Medigap Plan F, you get coverage on all nine basic benefits listed above. In fact, 56% of Medicare beneficiaries enrolled in a Medigap policy in 2014 were enrolled in Plan F. A Medigap Plan F policy could cost more in monthly premiums than some other Medigap plans that offer fewer benefits. Newly eligible Medicare beneficiaries won't be able to purchase Medigap Plan F or Plan C starting in 2020. Until that time, you can still likely purchase Plan F in your area if it is available and if you qualify. So how does Plan F compare vs. Plan G? Medigap Plan G Coverage Medigap Plan G has almost all of the same basic benefits as Plan F, except for coverage of the Medicare Part B deductible ($183 in 2018). This means that once your Part B deductible is paid in full, a Medigap Plan G policy would offer the same coverage as Plan F. Opting for Medigap Plan G coverage could equal lower monthly premiums depending on your location, your insurance provider and other factors. Deciding which plan is right for you could come down to availability, the cost of monthly premiums and whether or not you want coverage for the Medicare Part B deductible. Deciding on Medigap Plan F vs. Plan G How much your monthly premium costs could be determined by several factors. Your current health, age, gender, your location and your Medicare Supplement Insurance company could all influence your premiums, depending on when you buy your policy. The best time to buy a Medigap plan is during your Medigap open enrollment period. Insurers can't use your health against you during this time. You can't be denied coverage or charged higher premiums due to your health history. Your Medigap open enrollment period begins the month you are 65 years old and enrolled in Part B. Medicare Supplement Plan N (2019) - Why Choose Medicare Supplement Plan N?

03:42
Medicare Supplement Plan N (2019) Https://www.Medisupps.com 888-891-0229 Learn Why Medicare Supplement Plan N in 2019 is one of the best choices for Medicare Supplement Insurance! This will be one of the most popular choices for Medicare supplement plans in 2019 and 2020. You owe it to yourself to get the facts regardless of which Medicare supplement plan your considering, and I assure you that you will be amazed at how much lower the premiums can be for the plans from each carrier. Let us help! Medicare supplement plan N is quickly becoming one of the most popular Medigap plans available today. Many people are enjoying the lower premiums as well as the outstanding coverage that Medicare supplement plan N in 2019 provides. Although Medigap plan F and G are still more popular than this plan, more and more people are realizing that if they are healthy or coming off a Medicare advantage plan, Medicare supplement plan N is one of the best choices to enroll in. Medicare Supplement plan F will no longer be offered to new beneficiaries after January 1st of 2020! This is because plan N has lower premiums each month than plan F or plan G. The tradeoff however, is that with plan N you might have some additional out of pocket expenses. These expenses include things like the part B annual deductible, up to a $20.00 co pay per doctor's visit, and perhaps a $50.00 co pay if you visit the emergency room but you're not admitted. And although Medicare supplement plan N does not cover part B excess charges, most people do not ever see these charges and if they do they are typically minimal. Therefore you should not be concerned with any additional out of pocket expenses if the premiums are low enough to consider Medicare supplement plan N over plan G or plan F. To get instant online quotes for Medicare supplement plan N for 2019 simply visit https://www.Medisupps.com. Best Insurance Company for Plan G Medicare Supplement

05:03
https://www.abtinsuranceagency.com | (888) 465-9728. Today I'm answering the question "What is the best insurance company for Plan G?".This question, like many other Medicare or Medicare Supplement related questions doesn’t necessarily have a simple set answer. Really, the answer is – it depends. If you’ve been shopping around, you probably know by now that Medigap Plans are standardized. This means that the benefits are regulated, so each and every Plan G, no matter what insurance company you get it from, will have the same exact benefits. And since any Plan G allows you to see any provider who accepts Medicare – there are no networks – you won’t have access to more or less providers depending upon which company you go with. The doctors and hospitals are the same. The benefits are literally identical. And just because one insurance company spends a ton of money on advertising and direct mailings to you doesn’t necessarily mean they’re the best. Each and every company legally must pay on your medical claims the same, that is regulated by Medicare. So when answering the question “what is the best insurance company for Plan G” there are really two main things to look at: 1. Price. Different companies are going to charge you different prices for the same Plan G. Pricing can vary based on your area, so you want make sure you look at various insurance company’s prices so you can compare. 2. The second thing you want to take into consideration is the insurance company’s financial stability and rate increase history. Generally, you want a company that has at least a B or B + financial rating, and a company that has been around for a while. Additionally, it’s good to see a company that offers many different lines of coverage (like life insurance, dental/vision insurance, ect)- this is another signifier of their financial strength. A company with strong financial will be better able to keep rate increases mild over time. Overall, there are several excellent insurance companies for Medicare Supplement Plan G when it comes to price, and rate stability. The best company for you will depend on your area, age and preference. If you have any questions, or would like a free no obligation quote for Plan G rates in your area, please feel free to give me a call! I’m happy to help. Medigap Plan F - Is it STILL the best choice?

07:55
https://www.remedigap.com [888-411-1329] Chances are you’ve heard of Medigap Plan F. It’s known as the cadillac of all ten Medigap standardized plans. But even though Medicare Plan F has been popular for years, is it still the best plan? But does that mean Medicare Supplement Plan F is still the best choice? Today I’ll share 3 facts about Plan F and go over actual client cases and their average rate increases for the last three years. So how do I know about Medicare and Medigap insurance? Let me tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Joann Quinn. I’m Co-founder of REMEDIGAP.com and a Medicare Supplement Specialist (aka insurance agent...but far from the stereotypical type). I’m also a former teacher and my passion for educating transfers over to Medicare. Here are 3 facts about Plan F. Fact #1 Medigap Plan F has the best benefits of all ten Medigap Plans. It’s the only plan to offer 100% coverage in all categories. In a nutshell, it covers all Medicare deductibles, co pays and coinsurance. If you go to the doctor and Medicare pays its portion of the bill, Plan F will pay the rest. Fact #2 Medicare Supplement Plan F is first dollar coverage. That means it pays immediately including the Part B deductible that must be met before Medicare will begin paying its portion costs...which is 80%. In actuality, it’s the insurance carrier paying the part b deductible for you. But, just because it pays the deductible for you doesn’t mean you’re not paying it. Do you really think the insurance company is going to let you get away with a freebie? Most of the time, that deductible is incorporated into your premium. Fact #3 Plan F is going away and staying around, so let’s clear up the rumor. Congress decided that insurance companies can longer sell first dollar coverage plans beginning Jan 1, 2020 to anyone newly eligible for Medicare. Don’t panic! If you’re enrolled in Medicare or were eligible for Medicare before that date...no worries...you can still buy Plan F after 2020 or keep the Plan F you already have.

Finally we're going to take the difference in price we discovered together and weighed it against the difference in benefits to see if Plan F or plan G is the best and most valued Medicare supplement Plan. Now the first thing I want you to know before we get into the benefits of these two plans is that Medicare pre-designed 10 Medicare supplement plans and they named him with letters so that it's easy for you the consumer to shop and find the best price. This means simply that any company that you see that offers Plan F, plan G, or any other plan off on here is offering absolutely identical benefits to any other company offering you the exact same plan after plan G. so it doesn't matter if you select united healthcare, Bluecross Blueshield, Aetna, Cigna, Mutual of Omaha, New Era or any other company… they all offer the exact same coverage at the exact same doctors and they'll pay exactly the same way so the bigger question here is which plan is best to go with and which company is going to offer us the best price. Now with that said I want to show you why out of these ten Medigap plans available to be sold the conversation still always boils down to plan f vs plan G. So we'll start with Plan F because it's the easiest to understand and it provides the most coverage. You'll notice every box going down the screen is checked. It's that easy! What this means is with Plan F your Medicare coverage turns into 100% percent coverage so you will never open your wallet or pay a dime out of pocket anywhere for your Medicare card is accepted. There's no co-pays or deductibles, all of your Medicare coverage is simply one hundred percent coverage. You just pay your monthly premiums and you are done for the year. Now with Plan G you will notice that the only difference is one box that is not checked and that is the part b deductible. The Medicare Part B deductible is only a $183 deductible, so if you're not familiar with the deductible what that means is with plan G you pay the first $183 out of pocket once per year. You pay that deductible at your doctor's office or wherever you receive healthcare services. Once you have paid $183 out of pocket then Plan G basically turns into Plan F where everything is one hundred percent covered. So the only difference in coverage between Plan F and plan G is that simple $183 deductible. Now when we get outside of Plan G the benefits of the other plans drop much more then their price does making them hard to recommend. You'll notice if we look at Plan K we have about fifty percent coverage on a lot of items, with no coverage for the Part B deductible, excess charges, or foreign travel. plan L only provides 75% coverage. Plan A and Plan B provides such little benefits that nobody even enrolls in them. They just don't provide enough coverage at all. That's why the focus remains on Plan F or plan G. Now since we know that the absolute only difference between plan G and Plan F is a one time per year deductible of $183 we can safely assume that as long as we can save more than $183 per year in our premiums then we're going to be better off with plan G. ================================================== QUICK AND EASY MEDICARE SUPPLEMENT QUOTES http://www.MedicareHero.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Medicarehero/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/medicare-hero YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC76BF06WxgcKZXrK4O438MQ

How Often can I Change Medicare Supplement Plan ?

06:13
http://www.LibertySeniorSavings.com 88 Medicare Questions in 88 Days (888) 506-7510 Changing your Medicare plan all depends on what Medicare type of plan you have. If you have Medicare Advantage you are not on original Medicare. You are limited to networks, copays, the maximum out-of-pocket is $6,700 a year. Any procedure you have HAS to be authorized by the insurance company. Also you cannot travel and be covered by Medicare Advantage. It is an alternative to original Medicare. If you have Medicare Advantage, there is only one time of the year that you can make changes. That time frame is the fall period between October 15 and December 7. That is the only time you can make changes. Those changes don’t actually take effect until the 1st of January. Medicare Supplement on the other hand gives you freedom in choosing your doctor & hospital & there are no networks. You have no copays and no network restrictions. You can travel and be covered. You have choices of deductible. As of 2017, the 2 most popular plans have either zero deductible or $183 Annual deductible. There is NO max out of pocket like Medicare Advantage. You can change a Medicare Supplement 365 times a year if you like. There are no specific times to make changes like the Medicare Advantage. You want to check on several things with those two plans. It’s beneficial to have someone check out your plan. Is that working for you? Do you want to stay with that? Or do you want to go onto a Supplement & be able to choose your doctors/hospital and have no network restrictions? Medicare Advantage is completely different than a Medicare Supplement. Have a look at the screen. It is about the differences between Medicare Advantage vs. Medicare Supplement. Maybe you want something with a stable premium that you know how much you’re going to pay every month and there’s no surprises. So that’s just a thought or maybe you want to make some changes go from one Medicare Advantage company to the other. There is only one time of the year to make a change to your Part D Prescription Drug Plan. That’s the fall period October 15 to December 7. If have changed any of your prescriptions there might be another plan that might be better for you. That’s something that we offer at the check-in on the drug plan in the fall period. We offer this as a customer service only, we don’t actually handle drug plan. There’s just too many plans. We just use www.medicare.gov. Check out article/video on Part D Drug Plan. We show you step by step everything what we do. We just pop those in the mail to you. That way you can analyze it by deductible, premium and max out of pocket. People think that supplements are lumped into that time frame too but that’s not true. We help people change their supplement 365 days a year. Medicare protects seniors by having all the plans being standardized. This means brings the norm or to be the same. So what that means is every Plan G is the exact same benefits as another Plan G in the market. But Medicare doesn’t police what these companies can charge. See on the screen page 100 of the Medicare & You Guide Book 2016 where it states very clearly that insurance companies can charge different premiums for the exact same policy. Keep in mind that you just want to make sure you are comparing Plan F to Plan F or Plan G to Plan G. Customer service is very important here at Liberty Senior Savings. You get mail, cards, Medicare updates all year around. We do the Rate check in with folks. They do not have to change their plan by any means. We just check-in to make sure that there’s not another option for them that they could qualify for that might be less money for them. So on the Medicare Supplements you can change 365 days a year. We can save people $50/$100/$120 a month without changing any of their benefits.

Medicare Supplements and Pre Existing Conditions - Must Watch!

07:23
https://www.abtinsuranceagency.com | (888) 465-9728 Do Medigap Plans cover pre existing conditions? Many people think that Obamacare or the Affordable Care Act did away with all pre existing condition exclusions. And yes, for folks under 65 purchasing individual qualified health plans, there are no longer any health questions or pre existing condition clauses. However, this does not impact Medicare, or Medicare Supplement Plans. Original Medicare is made up of Medicare Part A (hospital insurance) and Medicare Part B (medical insurance). Medicare Supplement Plans are insurance purchased through private insurance companies to fill in the “gaps” in Parts A and B, and pay the out of pocket costs that Original Medicare doesn’t pay. Medicare Supplement Plans are medically underwritten, meaning the insurance company can ask you a series of health questions to determine if you qualify. Depending on your health, or your height and weight, they could charge you a higher premium, or deny you coverage all together. However, when you’re first getting on to Medicare you have a “Medicare Supplement Open Enrollment Period” – this is a time when you can get any Medigap Plan you’d like, with any company and you are guaranteed to be issued that policy and they can’t charge you a higher rate. This open enrollment period lasts up to 6 months after turning 65 or adding Medicare Part B, and it’s really the best time to buy a Medigap Plan since you’re guaranteed to be issued any plan you’d like. It’s a common misconception that folks think that the medigap open enrollment period is an annual thing, that every year they can switch their Medigap Plan if they want, with no health questions. But it the majority of states, that is not correct. After you’re initial Medicare Supplement Open enrollment period, you will have to answer health questions in order to qualify for a new or different medicare supplement plan. The Medicare Annual Election Period only applies to Part D Rx plans and Medicare Advantage Plans. What about pre existing condition waiting periods? This is from the CMS guide to choosing a Medigap policy: “While the insurance company can’t make you wait for your coverage to start, it may be able to make you wait for coverage related to a pre-existing condition. A pre-existing condition is a health problem you have before the date a new insurance policy starts. In some cases, the Medigap insurance company can refuse to cover your out-of-pocket costs for these pre-existing health problems for up to 6 months. This is called a “pre-existing condition waiting period.” After 6 months, the Medigap policy will cover the pre-existing condition. Coverage for a pre-existing condition can only be excluded if the condition was treated or diagnosed within 6 months before the coverage starts under the Medigap policy. This is called the “look-back period." Remember, for Medicare covered services, Original Medicare will still cover the condition, even if the Medigap policy won’t, but you’re responsible for the Medicare coinsurance or copayment. Creditable coverage If you have a pre-existing condition, you buy a Medigap policy during your Medigap Open Enrollment Period, and you’re replacing certain kinds of health coverage that count as “creditable coverage,” it’s possible to avoid or shorten waiting periods for pre-existing conditions. Prior creditable coverage is generally any other health coverage you recently had before applying for a Medigap policy. If you've had at least 6 months of continuous prior creditable coverage, the Medigap insurance company can’t make you wait before it covers your pre-existing conditions. There are many types of health care coverage that may count as creditable coverage for Medigap policies, but they'll only count if you didn’t have a break in coverage for more than 63 days." So, essentially, as long as you’ve had continuous coverage prior to enrollment, the Medigap Plan cannot place any waiting periods on your pre existing conditions. For folks that are over 65 and they’re looking to save money by switching from one Medigap insurer to another – once you go through the medical underwriting and you’re approved, as long as you’ve had continuous coverage through your old Medigap plan, the new plan cannot place any waiting periods on your pre existing conditions.
