http://SeniorSavingsNetwork.org 1-800-729-9590 2018 Medicare Supplement Plans | What Do I Need to Do? If you are on a Medicare Supplement plan, this end-of-the-year Medicare season has nothing to do with you, except for the need you have to shop your drug plan. Medicare Supplements (not to be confused with Medicare "Advantage" plan), do not change benefits and you cannot be canceled from such a plan. Your Medicare Supplement, whether Plan G, Plan F, Plan N, etc. will remain with the same benefits as when you signed up. What can change? The rates. If you are notified of a rate increase, you can shop your Medicare Supplement plan ANY time of the year, not just in October, November, or December of each year. You are in complete control and there is not a "season" for shopping Medicare Supplement plans. Medicare Advantage plans change every year and it is critically important that you shop those plans during the small, eight-week period of the "Annual Election Period." We do not specialize in these plans due to their complexity and the number of problems we have seen with senior clients on these, sometimes "free"/no premium HMO plans throughout the country. My Medicare Supplement shopping service is 100% free. If you would like to know the BEST plans available where you live, please call me at 1-800-729-9590. You can actually call 24 hours a day here. We will get you the best, unbiased, independent rate information customized for what you qualify for, which is far different than just giving you a "quote engine" and having you look at companies that might not even be available for you, given, your health qualifications, etc. If you would like to NOT have to become and insurance agent in order to figure out the best plan and you would like some behind-the-scenes help from an agency who has helped thousands of clients in 46 states over the past 25 years, please call my office. There is no charge for my help. How? The same way there is no charge for your auto insurance agent's help, or homeowner's insurance agent. We work the same way. By being independent, we work for our client, not the insurance company. This way, we keep your best interest in mind when shopping the market. We will show you all of the available companies, then make a recommendation based on our actual experience with those companies in your market. This experience is priceless in the selection process. Please let me help you. http://SeniorSavingsNetwork.org 1-800-729-9590 Christopher Westfall Medicare help More helpful videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmU0KdQuxbU&list=PL9io3Cp5sglCDzPtiKBsNDMPbqfFJSsvE I-M-P-O-R-T-A-N-T L-I-N-K-S Best Medicare Plan Information 1-800-729-9590 Call 24 hrs Our site: https://SeniorSavingsNetwork.org (Secure) Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/SeniorSavingsNetwork/ Best Medicare Videos: https://seniorsavingsnetwork.org/bestvideos Subscribe here on Youtube: https://seniorsavingsnetwork.org/youtube Make sure to also click on the BELL icon when you subscribe! Best Medicare Supplement (2018) - Find the Right Plan

Best Medicare Supplement Plan {2018} Complete Medicare Resource Center here: http://www.medicareonvideo.com 877-88KEITH (53484) Best Medicare Supplement Plan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGqCGQNF5mw Medicare Plan N - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vORbZsWDrzg Best Medicare Supplement Plan 2017 and How to Find the Right Option for You The best Medicare supplement plan 2017, also known as Medigap policies, will help you get the most coverage when used with your Medicare healthcare insurance plan. Since there are so many options it can be challenging to find the right one for your needs. Beneficiaries can do their homework to find the best options and to understand how they work with their healthcare plans. Most who apply will choose from standardized policies with specific details to pay attention to. Beneficiaries in Massachusetts, Minnesota, and Wisconsin have different regulations in place affecting how their policies are standardized. Why Are Supplement Plans Standardized and What Makes Them Unique? When seeking the best option to accompany your Medicare program healthcare insurance, it is important to understand these details. The standardized policies have provisions to help protect patients. The policies must meet regulations set by federal and state standards. Such standards help define it as Medicare supplement insurance. The policy is identified by its letter (A through N). Most policies offer the same protection but some offer more than others. Insurance companies provide options to beneficiaries regarding supplement policies to offer. There are a few things to keep in mind when finding best Medicare supplement plan 2017 to consider. Insurance companies offering them have regulations by the state to follow. The company may not be obligated to sell each type of supplement policy. The company is obligated to provide Plan A when giving other policy options. They should provide Plan C or Plan F when other plans are offered. Supplement polices may provide coverage for coinsurance if you have paid the deductible. In some cases the supplement policy provides coverage for the deductible. Tips for Comparing Best Medicare Supplement Plans 2017 There are various sources online people can use to compare their options. It is important to use credible options that provide detailed information about Medigap policies. Seek websites providing in-depth information on healthcare coverage options including Medicare, Medicaid, and other forms of health coverage that work with supplement policies. There are several aspects to compare that can help you understand how to cut down your options to focus on. When comparing plans take notes on what the plan covers and up to what percentage. Some plans may offer up to 100% coverage. Pay attention to services and benefits the plan offers. Learn each part the policy offers and what coverage is available. If you have Medicare Part A or Part D, compare services they cover and how much the supplement policy will pay. Some policies have a high-deductible and you may be required to pay up to a certain amount in a calendar year before your supplement policy kicks in. Services to pay attention to in regards to supplement policy options include hospital costs, hospice care, and care from skilled nursing facilities. Pay attention to doctors and hospitals in your network. There are trusted health news organizations offering there take on good Medicare supplement plans based on star ratings and in-depth comparisons. ================================================== QUICK AND EASY MEDICARE SUPPLEMENT QUOTES http://www.medsupsavings.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Med-Sup-Savings/1709195569306815 Twitter: https://twitter.com/MedSupSavings LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/pub/keith-armbrecht/5/11b/3a0 YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/BigHealthGreatWealth

Top 3 Medicare Supplement Plans 2018

08:07
Contact Me: MedicareScreenShare@gmail.com My Website: http://www.medicarescreenshare.com Top 3 Medicare Supplement Plans On The Market Today Okay lets look at the Top 3 medicare supplement options in the market today. Lets get right into the presentation. Okay you have 15 different plan options to choose between to supplement original Medicare. The plans range from plan A to Plan N and cover some to all the gaps in Original Medicare. We will just be looking into the 3 most popular plans instead of confusing you with all 15 different coverage options. Looking more into plans F, G and N you can see why they are the most popular plans and why their market shares are growing so quickly. Plan F is the most popular because it is the easiest to understand and covers 100% of the gaps in Medicare. So if you enrolled into Plan F and have a Medicare approved claim, it will cover all the deductibles, coinsurances, and copays of Original Medicare. Plan G is also a very easy to understand plan with it coving 100% of the gaps in Medicare with one exception. That exception is that Plan G does not cover your Part B deductible. The Part B deductible in 2017 is $183… The last plan we will be comparing is Plan N. Plan N also does not cover your $183 Part B deductible much like Plan G… There is also a $20 copay for doctor visits and a $50 copay for emergency room visits that do not result in impatient admission. Lastly Plan N does not cover part Part B excess charges. Part B excess charges are when doctors or specialist charge up to 15% more then what Medicare is willing to pay for a test, sugary, or procedure. Plan F was on average the most expensive at $130 dollars, Plan G was $104, and least expensive was Plan N at $85. This is very consistent with what you will find throughout the United States. Now lets compare the three. Comparing Plan F to Plan G is very easy. All you need to do is some simple math to find out that Plan G will cost on average about $312 less a year than Plan F. Then subtract the only difference between the two. And if you remember the only difference is the $183 Part B deductible. So your net savings with Plan G after taking into account all benefit differences is $129. So with a Plan F you are paying an insurance company $129 a year to pay for your Part B deductible. And you can even pocket the whole difference of $312 if you do not go to the doctor at all… Some other factors to look at when comparing these plans is that Plan F will no longer be available to new enrollees in 2020, but you can keep your plan as long as you like if you signed up before 2020. Plan F ending will create a closed risk pool most likely leading to higher rate increases for Plan F after 2020. It is also important to point out that Plan G and N have had historically lower rate increases than Plan F in the past as well. So just because plan F is the most popular plan on the market does not make it the best. Comparing Plans G and N is a little more difficult. Again after some simple math you find out that you can save $228 a year with Plan N over a Plan G. But you need to factor in the Part B copays with Plan N. The $228 dollar difference between plans G and N is equivalent to 11.4 $20 office visit or 4.6 $50 emergency room visits. So you would have to have quite a few office or ER lists to make up the difference in cost, but do not forget about the Part B excess charges with Plan N. You can avoid these charges by only working with Medicare Assigned doctors, but the risk of being charged 15% more for a test, sugary, or procedure is one of the reasons why Plan N is less expensive. So excess charges are an important factor when deciding between Plan G and N, but if you are in great health then Plan N could save you a lot of money especially if you continue to stay healthy 5 to 10 years into your Medicare enrollment. Now which is the best of the three. Well I would have to pick Plan G in most cases. It is close between Plan G and N, but the safer long term bet is with Plan G. Now if you are exceptionally healthy you should seriously consider Plan N especially if the cost difference is over $200 a year. But remember if you do pick Plan N just always make sure your doctor except Medicare Assignment to avoid any Excess Charges. And finally Plan F. Plan F is only for the person where money really does not matter. Thanks for taking the time to check out this quick presentation and I hope you found it helpful. Medicare Supplement Plan G vs F vs N (What's Changing?)

I compare Medicare supplements (aka Medigap Plans) to help you make an informed decision about which Medicare supplement is best for you. For most people turning 65, Medicare supplement Plan G will offer the best value today. However, there are changes in the relationship between Medicare supplement Plan G and Medigap Plan F and Plan N that you should be aware of before you make a decision. In this video, I will show you these changes and discuss how they may impact your decision making as you decide if the Plan G Medicare supplement is right for you. Plus a simple technique you can use to evaluate which plan is right for you. This is for two reasons – first; because the previously popular plans Medicare supplement Plan F and Plan C are being phased out as of January 2020. Second, Medicare supplement Plan G is usually a lower premium AND a better value. Most people shopping for a Medigap Plan today find Medicare supplement Plan G as their best value. Let’s take a quick look at the Medicare supplement plans so you can see why: . In the column below the Plan letter you can see the percentage of insurance coverage offered by that plan. For example; Medigap Plan F show 100% coverage in each category all the way down. That means that Medicare supplement plan F covers 100% of all the co-pays and deductibles that you would normally have to pay with Medicare Part A (inpatient hospital coverage) and Medicare Part B (outpatient coverage). It’s a great plan and would be an easy decision for many people entering Medicare, except that it is being phased out in January 2020 and Plan G usually offers equal benefits for less money. Take a look -- Medicare supplement Plan G has all the same benefits except this row right here: Medicare Part B deductible. That is a calendar year annual deductible. It resets every January 01. It can change every year. In 2017 it’s just $183. We expect it to increase to $250 over the next five to seven years. That’s it. All you pay is the annual Medicare Part B annual deductible and your premium. Other than that, Medicare and your Medigap Plan G pay all your Medicare related in-patient and outpatient expenses. The math here is simple, if Plan G is $183 less in premiums per year, then it would be exactly equal to Plan G. You pay the $183 deductible out of pocket, then you have all the same benefits as a Plan F. However, Medicare Supplement Plan G is usually $300 to $400 a year less in premiums than a Medigap Plan F. That means you can pay the $183 Medicare part B deductible out of pocket and have money left over. That makes it a better value. People considering a Medigap Plan G often compare the price and benefits to a Medigap Plan N. Plan N usually cost much less than Plan G, but there is a catch! In fact, Medicare supplement Plan N can cost 25% to 35% less than a Medigap Plan G. However, Plan N has less coverage and an asterisks you need to be aware of. Just like with Medigap Plan G, with Medigap Plan N you pay that Medicare Part B deductible out of pocket. The asterisks indicate that you will also pay a small co-pay of up to $20 when you see a doctor, $50 for an emergency room visit. Medicare supplement Plan G is for those who want peace-of-mind. Once you have a Plan G you don’t have to worry about co-pays or excess charges or anything. You can see any doctor, whether they charge excess charges or not. You pay a little extra, but you have peace-of-mind that your healthcare is taken care of. for Part D drug plan info visit: http://www.medicare.gov Also visit : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medigap Get your Medicare Guide to supplements here: https://www.medicare.gov/Pubs/pdf/02110-Medicare-Medigap.guide.pdf And your Medicare & You Guide here: https://www.medicare.gov/pubs/pdf/10050-Medicare-and-You.pdf

What is Medigap Insurance and Do You Need It?

08:59
Get Medigap Help: https://www.remedigap.com or call 888-411-1329 In this video, I'll explain how Medigap works, how you're responsible for the 20% Medicare won't cover. I'll also provide a case study on someone who needed to get Medigap - but waited too long and was unable too due to a health issue. ---- Medicare only covers 80% of your healthcare costs, leaving you with the remaining 20% coinsurance with no out of pocket maximum. The entire 20% is your responsibility and doesn’t reset at the beginning of the year. I’ll tell you how Medigap works to protect you from that 20% coinsurance so you can make informed decisions about your benefits. So, what is medigap insurance and do you need it? Whether or not you need Medigap insurance is a personal decision and definitely an important one as Medicare only covers 80% of your healthcare costs. And because Medicare doesn’t have an out of pocket limit, the remaining 20% can continue to grow leaving you financially vulnerable. And, no one wants to be in a vulnerable position - especially when it comes to your money. Most people are used to coinsurance. You probably had it at some point. But the main difference between your under age 65 health insurance and Medicare is the out of pocket limit -- which Medicare doesn’t have. Now, If we take a look at the average person visiting the doctor a Medicare Part B claim might be $100. Medicare pays 80% of that...so, $80 and you pay $20. You might be thinking, “no big deal”. A few doctor visits a year isn't going to break the bank. And that’s true for many people. But you need to take two things into consideration -- #1 You don’t know what the future holds in terms of your health. #2 Medicare doesn’t have an Out of Pocket limit. This is where Medigap insurance comes into play. Medigap is private insurance that’s meant to fill in the gaps of what Medicare doesn’t cover - such as the 20% coinsurance. And, The most popular plans F, G, and N will cover that 20% coinsurance...offering you financial protection and peace of mind. When you first enroll in Medicare, you get a one time use it or lose it opportunity and it’s called a Medigap Open Enrollment Period. This is when you can put a Medigap plan in place without answering any health questions or go through medical underwriting. So, if your Part B effective date is February 1, the Medigap Open Enrollment period allows you to buy a plan and have it begin in Feb, Mar, Apr, May, Jun, or Jul...it’s an important 6 month window, because when it closes -- it can’t be reopened. Why is that so important? Think back to that 20% coinsurance. If you decide to not add a Medigap plan during your Medigap Open Enrollment period, then you leave yourself financially vulnerable. And, If you decide to add a Medigap plan later when something happens, it just might be too late. After 6 month window closes, you have to answer the health questions and get approved by the insurance company’s medical underwriting department. So there’s no guarantee that a policy will be yours. You’ve now put the decision making in the hands of the insurance company. So, are you still wondering what is medigap and do you need it? If so, make sure to watch this video. The good news is you don’t have to make a decision right this very second. In fact, you might want some more information or even some more guidance. So, I have more good news, you don’t have to look very far, because help is right in front of you...hello! Give me a call or send me an email if you prefer and I’ll get your questions answered and help move you through the process. http://SeniorSavingsNetwork.org Dr. David Belk in California says that seniors don't need a Medigap (Medicare Supplement) policy. He is dead wrong, and millions of seniors would disagree. As discussed in this video https://youtu.be/TRMX3LZJ2bU Medicare Advantage plans have many differences to a Medicare Supplement (Medigap) Plan. The biggest is the network, in a Medicare Advantage Plan you will be required to stay in Network for all your Medicare procedures. This fact alone can cause some major problems if you need a specialist or care facility out of Network. The second biggest issue is that the plan can change at any time and you are locked in for a year. Your best option in most circumstances is to go with a Medicare Supplement during your original open enrollment and then making a change next year if you feel it is not a good fit or that the premiums are much to high. _________________________________________________________________ **Dont miss a single Medicare Supplement video Click Below to SUBSCRIBE** https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpeawY2B_hUuZhV26QAwRuQ?sub_confirmation=1 _________________________________________________________________ Loran Marmes Medicare Solutions Team 844-528-8688 https://medigapinfo.net/ Facebook: https://business.facebook.com/medicaresolutionsteam

Aetna Medicare Supplement Plans & What You Must Know

03:13
Call 1-800-892-7981 or visit http://medicarefriend.com/ Hi Folks, I'm Glen Kavanagh with the Medicare Friend, and I hope you find the information on here helpful: Aetna Medicare Supplement Plans & What You Must Know Aetna Medicare supplement plans are some of the most popular in the entire Insurance Industry. A few of the main points in the video are: -Aetna medicare supplement review: An Aetna medigap plan is typically a great buy if you are the type of person that is willing to pay more for great customer service. You can count on getting a hold of someone in their Brentwood, Tennessee headquarters when you call member services. -Just like Mutual of Omaha, They boast high S&P ratings and are also very highly rated with the Better Business Bureau. -It is common for a first timer to seek an Aetna Plan F Review because it has been the most popular policy, however Aetna medicare supplement plan G has surpassed it as the most bought in 2017, followed by the cheaper aetna plan N. Expect 2018 and 2019 to continue that trend, especially since Plan F is going away in 2020. You can still keep your plan F after 2020, but experts predict rates to increase much faster than Plan G & N, making the latter plans a better overall value -Aetna medicare supplement rates drop significantly if you can qualify for their household discount. Often times with Mutual of Omaha, only one policy is needed in the household as long as the policy holder's spouse/ partner is 60 years of age or older- this benefit is unique. However, if you want the household discount on your Aetna Medigap plan, you will need to make sure both you and your spouse/ partner have an Aetna Medigap policy. They require two policies in the same household. - Expect Aetna to be a major player for years to come based on word of mouth alone. -Finally, Rates are still typically lower long term if you look elsewhere. We may be able to help you find identical coverage for significant savings. This is why I bring up phenomenal companies like Manhattan Life, Thrivent, etc. Little known yet great, stable companies that offer all of the same benefits, but historically have kept their rates much more stable as they do not need to pass on a high advertising expense on to their clients. In 2014, I started in this industry full-time, after I learned that seniors are often offered only one choice in Medicare, depending on where the agent has his loyalty. I am an independent Medicare agent, which means I offer ALL of the available plans. So, if you'd like an independent agent working for you, and you are new to Medicare, or just need a second opinion on your Medicare plan, give me a call. My service is free to you and I might save you a lot of money by helping you find the right Medicare option for your specific needs! Medicare Supplements - 5 Things To Know Before You Buy A Medicare Supplemental Policy

07:00
Call (888) 310-0376 to Compare All Medicare Supplement Plans in Your State. Get Instant Access http://free-mini-course.com I explain 5 things you should know about Medicare Supplements before you buy. As far as Medicare Plans go, Medicare supplemental coverage is a little easier to understand than Medicare Advantage. So what is Medicare supplement insurance and how does it work? Medicare supplemental insurance is also known as Medigap. It is private health insurance designed to supplement original Medicare by helping to pay some of your share of costs for Medicare-covered services. Medicare supplement plans are standardized insurance policies and are designated by the letters A through N. Standardization means that the same plan will generally have identical benefits no matter which company sells it. The second thing you should be aware of is that Medicare supplements are different than Medicare Advantage plans. While a Medigap policy pays your share of costs after Medicare pays, an Advantage Plan is another way to get your Medicare benefits and these benefits are paid by the plan. Medicare Advantage Plans are often PPOs or HMOs and require you to receive services from network providers. Medicare supplement policies on the other hand allow you in most cases (except Medicare Select) to choose your own providers without network restrictions. You cannot be canceled from your supplement unless you stop paying premiums. Advantage Plans are good for one year and require you to renew annually. Get Instant Access - http://free-mini-course.com - Unlock the information you need to choose the best plan for your circumstances. The third thing you should know is when you can buy a Medicare supplement. The best time to buy is during your Medigap Open Enrollment Period which lasts for 6 months and begins when you are both 65 or older and eligible for Part B. This in the best time to buy because an insurance company cannot: Refuse to sell you any policy it sells Make you wait for coverage Charge you more due to health problems Another time to get Medicare supplemental coverage is when you are entitled to Guaranteed Issue Rights. These rights are triggered by a change in your circumstances, such as; your Medicare Advantage Plan leaving Medicare or not renewing for the following year or your employer or Union group insurance is ending. The fourth thing you should know is how to compare Medicare Supplement Plans. Standardization make comparing plans easy. Once you look at the Medicare supplement benefits chart you will be able to see what is covered by each plan and then compare that plan across several companies. Fifth, you need to be aware that Medicare supplement rates can vary widely between plans. It's not uncommon to see $100 or more difference in monthly premiums for the same plan. Plans that are worthy of consideration include Medicare supplement Plan F and Plan N. Plan F is the most popular nationally and the most comprehensive. Medicare supplement Plan N is a good option if you can handle a little out-of-pocket expense. When comparing Medicare supplement policies remember that the best Medicare supplement is the one that fits your budget and gives you the most bang for your buck.

CLICK HERE http://seniormarketsolutions.com - 1-800-784-8969 Medicare supplement Plan G aka Medigap Plan G is fast becoming the most popular Medigap choice for those people turning 65. Medicare Supplement Plan G is identical to Plan F, with the exception of the Part B deductible. Once Plan G policyholders pay their Part B deductible ($183 for 2018), they essentially have the Plan F. Plan G monthly premiums are typically much less expensive than the Plan F premiums. Therefore, although the deductible is not covered, Plan G policyholders will typically save money overall with the Plan G due to the premium difference. Ultimately, Medigap Plan G has the same benefits as the Plan F, minus the Part B deductible ($183 for 2018). Once the Part B deductible is paid, they both offer full coverage. Medicare Supplement Plan N - Best Value?

14:43
Medigap Plan N | https://www.remedigap.com | 888-411-1329 Medicare Supplement Plan N can be a great value. It’s premiums are often 30% less than Plan F and 20% less than Plan G. That means some people can get Plan N for under $100 a month. So what’s the catch? Well, there’s no trickery or super fine print, but there are a couple benefits Plan N doesn’t cover.. Stick with me and I’ll tell you what they are: So, when we talk about Medicare Supplement insurance (which is also known as Medigap), Plan F is usually the first one to come to mind. After all, it’s the one most people have heard of...but when when we’re talking about value we immediately think of Medigap Plan G… but you should not overlook Plan N. It’s low premiums make it a great plan to consider...you just need to be aware of some benefits Medicare Supplement Plan N doesn’t have when compared to Plan G and Plan F. Taking a looking at Plan F, G and N side by side, Plan F, of course covers every benefit on the chart. Plan G and Plan N don’t cover the Part B deductible (that’s what these two plans have in common). Now let’s focus on what else Plan N does not cover, because this is where it separates itself from Plan G. Plan N Copays Medigap Plan N has provider and emergency room copays. This is how it works...Medigap providers can charge you a copay up to $20 per office visit. Now, the key here is the wording “up to $20”. So, it could be a $0 copay, a $20 copay or anything in between...but never more than $20. And, if you visit the emergency room, the copay is $50 per visit. However, that copay is waived if you’re admitted into the hospital and the emergency room visit is covered as a Medicare Part A expense. Okay, that was the easy part. Now, we’re going to focus on the Part B excess charges. This is a covered benefit with Plan F and Plan G, but not with Plan N. The good news is that you are only responsible for excess charges if the provider does not accept Medicare assignment. A doctor can provide care to Medicare patients and not accept Medicare Assignment. That probably bears repeating...a doctor can provide care to Medicare patients and not accept Medicare Assignment. When a Medicare provider doesn’t accept assignment they’re telling Medicare they don’t accept Medicare’s approved amount for payment. When the doctor sends your claim to Medicare, they provide the billed amount for the service. Let’s say the doctor billed $250. But Medicare has a set amount of money they pay for certain services. So, if the doctor billed $250 for your visit and Medicare’s approved amount is $100... the doctor can bill you 15% of Medicare’s approved amount (the $100) but only IF the doctor doesn’t accept Medicare assignment. Basically, the doctor is telling Medicare that they’ll see Medicare patients, but they don’t agree on Medicare’s approved amount. So they elect to not accept Medicare Assignment and therefore can send you a bill for 15% above Medicare’s approved amount for your claim. They can’t charge you more than 15% of the Medicare-approved amount...this is the limiting charge. So...Is this a deal breaker when considering Plan N? Well, it shouldn’t be. But you do need to be prudent in knowing if any of your providers don’t accept assignment. And, that includes specialists and any doctors who might treat you at the hospital. There’s an easy way to see if a provider accepts assignment. Now, you can always call a doctor’s office and ask...but, you never know who is on the other end of the phone and whether or not they understand what Medicare assignment means. That’s why I like to use Medicare.gov physician finder tool. As a side note, there are some states that do not allow excess charges (Medicare Overcharge Measure law): Connecticut, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont. Do you have a better understanding of Medigap Plan N? I’d love to know in the comment section below. Medicare Supplement Plan F - Plan G - Plan N - Which is better and Why?

07:38
Medicare Supplement Plan F - Plan G - Plan N - Which is better and Why? Explaining the three most popular / comprehensive Medicare Supplement Plans: Plan F = Full Coverage No Copay No Deductible Any Doctor / Any Hospital Plan G = Greatest Value The Plan G will cover you exactly like the Plan F except for one difference. You will have to pay the Part B Deductible, which for 2017 is $183.00. The reason that Plan G is the greatest value is because it is usually $300 to $600 less per year then the Plan F and again the only difference is the $183.00 deductible. So why pay an insurance company $400 just to pay your $183.00 deductible. Plan G just makes more sense. Plan N = Not Fixed Plan N is a really good plan. There are 4 differences between Plan F (the full coverage plan) and the Plan N (Not fixed) 1) Just like Plan G (the greatest value plan) you pay the $183.00 deductible. 2) Than you have up to a $20.00 copy per Doctor visit. 3) A $50.00 copay for the ER. 4) Part B Excess Charges – This just means that if a Doctor charges more than Medicare, you might have to pay up to 15% more. I recommend Plan G, because it keeps your healthcare costs “fixed”, meaning there are no surprises like Plan N can have, and I like Plan G better than Plan F because G gives you the same coverage for less money. Do you agree that Plan G offers the greatest value? Call one of my agents today: 1-855-368-4717 or request a Quote: https://www.seniorhealthcaredirect.com/quote/ Robert W. You can see any doctor in any state and go to any medical facility, as long as they accept Medicare. Your out-of-pocket risk is limited. If you ever believe you are about to face high medical expenses, just switch to a more comprehensive plan. Once those expenses are behind you, switch back to the lower cost plan. No medical questions asked and you are guaranteed to be accepted. This is what your strategy should be: Go for the lowest cost coverage now. This will be coverage that limits your maximum out-of-pocket liability. It makes certain you can’t have medical bills beyond what you can manage. No matter what. If something happens, you get ill and you are looking at higher medical costs in the near future, you can switch to the Medicare supplement plan with the most comprehensive coverage. You will pay a higher premium, but you will not have to deal with Medical bills. The Medicare supplement plan with the lowest premium is typically your Medicare supplement Plan F –high deductible. Anyone who is eligible for Medicare prior to 2020 can get a Medigap Plan F-High Deductible. After 2020 this plan will be replaced with an identical plan called the Medigap Plan G - high deductible. Different name, same benefits. If you want to switch to that plan after 2020, you can. 08:17
888-411-1329 https://www.remedigap.com/ https://www.mymedicare.gov/ This video is all about tracking the Part B deductible so you don’t accidentally overpay it. This is especially important if you have Medicare Supplement plan G or Medicare Supplement plan N because you will receive bills from medical providers and you want to make sure you pay only the amount you’re responsible for. Once you overpay, then you have to try and get your money back from the provider. This can lead to stress and time wasted. I’ll show you some great ways you can track the Part B deductible. The Part B Deductible is actually the medical deductible, so doctor visits, lab work, durable medical equipment are some of the type of claims that are applied towards the Part B deductible. There are several easy techniques for tracking the Part B deductible. And, it's always a great idea to cross reference using the ideas in this video. This will help if you get a bill from the provider that includes more than what you think you should pay. Medicare providers will sometimes send a bill and include the Part B coinsurance, so it's important to know what you've already paid. This video includes a Client Case Study that shows exactly how you can accidentally be overcharged after meeting the Part B deductible. And as a side note, if you have Medigap Plan N, you'll want to keep your co-pay and deductible information separate. Overall, keeping track of the Medicare Part B deductible is very easy. It's also time well spent on the front end to avoid overpaying later on. This is especially important if you have Medigap Plan G or Medigap Plan N insurance.

When to Choose Medicare Plan FHD Must See in New York and Florida

When to Choose Medicare Plan FHD - Must See for New York and Florida. Complete Medicare Resource Center here: http://www.medsupsavings.com/ 877-88KEITH (53484) Best Medicare Supplement Plan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGqCGQNF5mw Medicare Plan N - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vORbZsWDrzg Medicare Supplement Plan F HD and What You Should Know about What It Covers Medicare Supplement Plan F HD is part of a group of comprehensive supplement plan options for Medicare participants. This plan helps cover gaps left from Medicare coverage Part A and B. The plan is similar to popular option plan F and common choice for those seeking supplement plan coverage. This high deductible plan is known to have lower premiums depending on service coverage, but in the long run it can help make healthcare costs easier and affordable. Here is a brief summary of what you should know about this supplement plan. What Does Medicare Supplement Plan F HD Cover? After the annual deductible plan F HD covers the deductible associated with Part A coverage. The plan covers the deductible for the year period and three pints of blood. Plan F HD covers coinsurance of a hospital stay for 61 to 365 days. Coinsurance for skilled nursing care facilities and hospice care is also covered. For Part B insurance about 20 percent of costs approved by Medicare, the yearly deductible and excess charges from Medicare (what Medicare did not cover from a service), is covered in Plan F HD. Foreign travel health emergencies under Part A or B are covered. Medicare Part B premium payments are not covered under Plan F HD. Keep in mind income guidelines for Part A premiums apply. This means you could be responsible for paying Part A premiums if your income is high enough; in this case Plan F would not cover the deductible. What Costs Are Associated with the Plan? Applicants can get a quote detailing how much they would pay under Plan F HD. Applicants close to their 65th birthday may be eligible to receive lower rates. This is obtained through the open enrollment period which continues for a few months after your birthday. You can apply if you are seeking Part A or B coverage. During your initial enrollment you can't be turned down and medical underwriting is waived. Plan F HD helps cover the first 60 days of hospitalization. If hospitalization continues past 60 days Medicare pays a specific amount each day and Plan F HD will pick up what is left over. If hospital stay is continuously needed after 365 days Plan F HD could pick up all costs. The number of days Plan F HD covers for skilled nursing and hospice care varies. This plan also has other factors that help determine your costs such the age you obtain coverage, the premium amount issued based on your age and community rating in which people in a certain age bracket would pay the same premium amount for their policy. Additional Details to Know Medicare Supplement Plan F HD Compare other supplement plan options for Medicare costs if Plan F HD does not seem suitable. This plan has a high deductible version that is recommended for those in good health. Plan G is the most common alternative option to this plan. It offers similar coverage but is considered affordable considering deductible costs you have to pay before the supplement policy covers gap expenses. ================================================== QUICK AND EASY MEDICARE SUPPLEMENT QUOTES http://www.medsupsavings.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Med-Sup-Savings/1709195569306815 Twitter: https://twitter.com/MedSupSavings LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/pub/keith-armbrecht/5/11b/3a0 YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/BigHealthGreatWealth

Plan N Medicare Supplement - Is it really a good value?

07:12
http://www.abtinsuranceagency.com | (888) 465-9728 Medicare Supplement Plan N is growing in popularity – but does it offer the best value? Plan N is one of the three most popular Medicare Supplement Plans, along with Plan F and Plan G, but it can often cost up to 30% less than Plan F, or 20% less than Plan G. It’s a very popular Plan for people that looking for an alternative to a Medicare Advantage Plan – and unlike a Medicare Advantage Plan, Plan N because it is a Medicare Supplement Plan has NO networks, it is not an HMO or a PPO. Plan F has historically been the most popular Plan because it is the Plan that offers the most coverage – with Plan F, 100% of the gaps in original Medicare are covered, so you pay zero out of pocket at the doctor and hospital. However, you usually pay a lot more in premium for it. Plan F is priced higher, and based on what we’ve seen Plan F experiences higher percentage rate increases than Plan G or Plan N. Plan G is almost identical to Plan F, but there is no coverage for the Part B deductible, which is $183 annually in 2018. With Plan G, after you meet the Part B deductible of $183 all of your Original Medicare costs are covered at 100%, so no copays, no coinsurance at the doctor or hospital after the deductible is satisfied. Plan N offers a good bang for your buck, and in many states you can get a Plan N for under $100/month. Now the reason it is priced lower than Plan F or Plan G is because you will be responsible for a little bit more of your Medical costs. Just like Plan G, there is no coverage for the Part B deductible, so with Plan N you can have annual deductible of $183/year. After the deductible is met, you may be responsible for Co-pays at your provider and at the emergency room. Copays will be anywhere from 0-$20 at the provider, and up to $50 at the emergency room. Additionally, Plan N does not cover the Medicare Part B excess charges. You may come across excess charges if you visit a provider who accepts Medicare but does not accept Medicare assignment. So, it is possible to see a doctor who accepts Medicare patients, but does not accept Medicare Assignment, or Medicare as “payment in full”. In this case, a doctor may charge you up to 15% above the Medicare Approved amount. These are excess charges – Plans F and G cover them at 100% but Plan N does not. Now excess charges are not extremely common, and in some states they are actually illegal: Connecticut, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont. How Medicare Supplemental Coverage Works While Traveling

Learn more about Medicare here: https://www.remedigap.com/ecourse/ https://www.facebook.com/Remedigap/ How Medicare Supplemental coverage works while traveling - Links noted in this video: CMS Publication: Medicare Coverage Outside United States https://www.medicare.gov/Pubs/pdf/11037-Medicare-Coverage-Outside-United-Stat.pdf Medicare and You: Traveling Abroad https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yq2WbpPK-9c This video is helpful for Medicare Beneficiaries who travel on vacation, travel by RV, travel by motorhome, or live part time in another state (snowbirds). If this applies to you, then you might be wondering how Medicare Supplemental coverage works while traveling. According to CMS as of January 2017 more than 515,000 Medicare providers actively receiving payments) and that large network is a real benefit to you while traveling. I’ll share with you all the details on how Medicare Supplemental coverage works while traveling in the United States, abroad, and how Medicare Supplement plan coverage differs from Medicare Advantage plans. And, make sure you read to the end of this post where I share tips on how to use your Part D drug plan while traveling. The great news about Medicare Supplement insurance is that it can travel with you across all 50 states and U.S. territories. So, all you have to remember is that a provider who accepts Medicare also accepts your Medicare Supplement plan...regardless of who your Medicare Supplement insurance company is. It’s not about the name of the Medicare Supplement insurance carrier, it’s about seeing providers in Medicare’s network. As long as the provider or facility accepts Medicare, your Medicare Supplement insurance company will pay the required costs associated with the Outline of Benefits for your Medigap plan. But can you use Medicare out of the country? Medicare is very limited in what it covers for foreign travel. And, in most cases, Medicare won’t pay for health care or supplies you get outside the United States and U.S. territories. However, there are 3 situations in which Medicare will cover health care services in a hospital setting located in Canada or Mexico. See the link at the top of this post that takes you to CMS’s four page publication that goes over those rules in detail. Medigap plans C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, M, and N pay 80% of the billed charges for certain medically necessary emergency care needs outside the U.S. after you meet a $250 deductible for the year. Keep in mind, these Medigap policies cover foreign travel emergency care if it begins during the first 60 days of your trip, and has a lifetime limit of $50k. Medicare Supplement Plans and Medigap plans are the same type of health coverage. But, Medicare supplement plans are not the same as Medicare advantage plans. They don't work the same while traveling. One reason is because MAPDs don’t use Medicare's vast network. Medicare Advantage Plans are HMOs and PPOs and have service area networks. Variables such as how long you travel, where you travel, and the kind of care you need will impact whether or not your care will be covered while traveling or living somewhere part time. And, as for foreign travel, some Medicare Advantage Plans cover emergency care outside the U.S. but, again, you have to check the plan benefits to see what costs and rules apply. Which is completely different than Medicare Supplement plans, where you don’t have to constantly check plan benefits or your provider network. As long as the provider accepts Medicare (in the U.S. and territories), you’re covered… and your Medigap plan F, Medigap Plan G, or Medigap Plan N will pay accordingly. This offers greater peace of mind and ease of use while traveling compared to MAPD. And, let me share with you an example of how Medicare's network really came in handy for your father in law. He was visiting us before traveling out of the country and the day he was leaving for his trip, he noticed a spot on his skin that was bothering him. He wanted to have it checked before his trip. However, he was at our house and nowhere near his dermatologist. But, since he had Medicare and A Medigap plan, he was able to visit a dermatologist near my house with no network issues. Now, if he had a Medicare Advantage Plan, he would have been out of the plan's service area, and wouldn't have in network coverage. And...since it wasn't an emergency, it definitely wouldn't have been covered once he left the country. Lastly, if you have a Part D plan or are planning to get one, make sure you choose a plan that has national coverage so you can get prescriptions filled while traveling. If you use Medicare’s Plan Finder Tool, keep an eye out for the little N that indicates National Coverage. And, if you choose a plan that only provides coverage at one retail location (like the AARP Walgreens plan), then keep that in mind if you know you’ll be traveling.
