What Are Vitamin D Deficiency Symptoms?

06:05
For more info: https://draxe.com/vitamin-d-deficiency-symptoms/?utm_campaign=Youtube-Apr-2015&utm_medium=social&utm_source=youtube&utm_term=vitaminddeficiency In this video I’m going to talk about the benefits of vitamin D as well as symptoms of vitamin D deficiency. In certain studies, Americans has been found to be the #1 population in vitamin D deficiency. Some of the main symptoms of vitamin D deficiency are a weakened immune system, candida or bacterial overgrowth, emotional ups and downs, hormone imbalance, trouble putting on muscle or losing weight, weakened bones or teeth, cancer, heart disease, or diabetes. Vitamin D supports having a healthy immune response, digestive health, hormone balance, and more. The biggest causes of vitamin D deficiency are not getting enough sunlight, certain chemicals from plastic bottles (bpa), and toxicity. Try to get outside everyday for about 20-30 minutes of natural sunlight. Certain foods that are sources of vitamin D are wild caught fish, raw fermented milk, mushrooms, and eggs. However, there are small amounts in the food you eat. For a good supplement, I would recommend a high quality vitamin D supplement. You don’t want to take vitamin D2, but you do want to take vitamin D3. For supplementation, take about 2000-5000 IUs a day. However, if you have a severe deficiency, then for 1-2 months, you may take 5000 IUs twice daily. Lastly, you want to take your vitamin D3 with some form of fat like coconut oil or avocado to help absorption in your body. 16 Signs of Vitamin D Deficiency | Signs of Vitamin D Deficiency

05:03
These 16 red flag signs represent the lack of Vitamin D. Vitamin D is maybe the most essential supplement of our body. “Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that plays a role in many important body functions. It is best known for working with calcium in your body to help build and maintain healthy bones. Vitamin D is also involved in regulating the immune system and cells, where it may help prevent cancer.” – University of Maryland Medical Center. Vitamin D is maybe the essential supplement when talking about the bone or the immune system. The satisfactory utilization of vitamin D not only safeguards the bone and immune system of the body, but it is also responsible for preventing various serious health threats. An inadequacy of the vitamin D can cause rickets (fragile bones) in kids. It is an issue in which, a tissue of bone does not brace or mineralize. The condition regularly prompts the fragile bones and the skeletal distortions, expanding the danger of injury. Nevertheless, the recent study is revealing the connection between the lack of vitamin D and a large group of different health problems. Research suggests that “Vitamin D may play a role in both the prevention and treatment of hypertension, type1 and type2 diabetes, multiple sclerosis (MS), and hypertension.” We will go through some signs depicting the deficiency of the Vitamin D...

6 Signs Your Body Needs More Vitamin D

03:01
Vitamin D is an extremely important vitamin that has powerful effects on several-systems throughout the body. Unlike most vitamins, vitamin-D actually functions like a hormone, and every single cell in your body has a receptor for it. Your body makes it from cholesterol when your skin is exposed to sunlight. It's also found in certain foods such as fatty fish and fortified dairy products, although it's very difficult to get enough from diet alone. The recommended daily intake is usually around 400-800 IU, but many experts say you should get even more than that. Vitamin-D deficiency is very common. It's estimated that about 1 billion people worldwide have low levels of the vitamin in their blood. Here are 6 signs you may have Vitamin-D deficiency. 1.Bone and Back Pain Vitamin-D is involved in maintaining bone health through a number of mechanisms. For one, it improves your body's absorption of calcium. Bone pain and lower back pain may be signs of inadequate vitamin D levels in the blood. Large observational studies have found a relationship between a deficiency and chronic lower back pain. 2.You Have Gut Trouble Remember, vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin, which means if you have a gastrointestinal condition that affects your ability to absorb fat, you may have lower absorption of fat-soluble vitamins like vitamin D as well. This includes gut conditions like Crohn's, celiac and non-celiac gluten sensitivity, and inflammatory bowel disease. 3.Depression A depressed mood may also be a sign of deficiency. On the other hand, most of the controlled trials, which carry more scientific weight than observational studies, didn't show a link between the two Some controlled studies have shown that giving vitamin D to people who are deficient helps improve depression, including seasonal depression that occurs during the colder months. 4.Hair Loss Hair loss is often attributed to stress, which is certainly a common cause. However, when hair loss is severe, it may be the result of a disease or nutrient deficiency. Hair loss in women has been linked to low Vitamin-D levels, although there is very little research on this so far  In a case study, topical application of a synthetic form of the vitamin was found to successfully treat hair loss in a young boy with a defect in the Vitamin-D receptor. 5.Bad mood A depression diagnosis is often actually linked to a shortage of vitamin D. While the jury is still out about why, the Vitamin D Council says that the mineral may work in the same brain areas—and impact the same hormones, like serotonin—as those that affect mood. 6.Fatigue and Tiredness Feeling tired can have many causes and vitamin D deficiency may be one of them. Unfortunately, it's often overlooked as a potential cause. In one case, a woman who complained of chronic daytime fatigue and headaches was found to have a blood level of only 5.9 Nanograms per milliliter. This is extremely low, as anything under 20 Nanograms per mililiter is considered to be deficient.

The Gallbladder & Vitamin A, D, E and K2 Connection Part 3 Dr. Eric Berg DC

06:45
Dr. Berg's Gallbladder Formula: https://shop.drberg.com/gallbladder-formula-regular or go to Amazon: http://amzn.to/2fydNKv Dr. Berg talks about the gallbladder anatomy and gallbladder function. The normal stomach acid should be at a pH of 1-3. This is essential for the stomach to release bile. Bile helps to absorb minerals and vitamins from the foods that we eat. If the acid in the stomach is low, you can get GERD or acid reflux. Low sodium diets can cause acid reflux. Dr. Berg explains about the different vitamins and their importance, such as low Vitamin A can cause night blindness, dry skin, dry throat, acnea. Vitamin D controls the absorption of calcium which helps in bone and muscle contraction, cellular communication, improves immune system. Vitamin K2 is a calcium transporter and keeps calcium out of soft tissues. Low Vitamin K2 can cause arthrithis, strokes, cataracts, gallstones. The lack of stomach acids can cause a deficiency of bile. So the stomach controls the release of bile. With gallbladder problems, you can have a deficiency of vitamin A, D, E and K1 and K2. This could trigger soft tissue calcium. This is the third video which talks about the gallbladder and its relationship with vitamins and minerals absorption. To know more about the gallbladder, watch out the other videos in this series. 10 Serious Lack Of Vitamin D Warning Signs

03:47
Muscle weakness is usually caused by a Vitamin D deficiency. Muscles have Vitamin D receptors. They must have a constant supply of Vitamin D to function. If your body has a deficiency of Vitamin D, your muscles will have trouble functioning. Bone Pain Shunning the sun and being lactose intolerant can leave you with a deficiency of Vitamin D. This can lead to bone pain, which can be difficult to distinguish from muscle or joint pain, but generally manifests as a deep, full pain that can't be isolated to an exact area. Constant Respiratory Problems Studies show that Vitamin D may help defend against respiratory illness. This is especially true in children. If your child has severe asthma, you may want to increase their Vitamin D intake. Sweaty Head Years ago, doctors used to ask new mothers if their newborns' heads were sweating more than normal. This is apparently a very early sign that a baby is Vitamin D deficient. If you're breastfeeding, you'll need to increase your sun exposure or consume more foods rich in Vitamin D. Depression According to the Vitamin D Council, this essential nutrient helps your brain's neurotransmitters produce the fluid serotonin. This produces our feelings of happiness. Studies have linked low levels of Vitamin D with episodes of depression. This happens especially during the winter months, because of the lack of sun during that time of year. Chronic Infections The Mayo Clinic has advised that Vitamin D is crucial to our body's health. It is a necessary vitamin in helping our body fight infections. If you notice you or your child is prone to getting infections, you might want to ask your doctor to give you a Vitamin D blood test. Cardiovascular Disease Articles published by the National Institutes of Health have shown that deficiencies in Vitamin D can lead to congestive heart failure. Make sure your body maintains the proper amounts to guard against the risk. Home tests are available to check if you have a lack of Vitamin D. Psoriasis Although psoriasis is not always caused by a lack of Vitamin D, it's used in treatment. The Mayo Clinic claims that if you have a lack of Vitamin D it will be harder for your body to defend itself against psoriasis. Chronic Pain Studies have shown that low Vitamin D levels impact a person's chances of having chronic pain. People with darker skin are more prone to these effects, because they need more sun exposure to actually absorb any Vitamin D. Tiredness Vitamin D is one of the necessary vitamins for your body to create energy. Without it you can end up feeling tired most of the day. This will make it hard for you to get around or even get to work. You should consult your doctor if you have constant feelings of tiredness. Hypertension Harvard University conducted a study on women. The study showed that women with low levels of Vitamin D have a 67 percent increased risk of hypertension. If you suffer from anxiety, you may want to consider purchasing Vitamin D supplements and adding them to your daily routine. Crankiness Vitamin D also affects the levels of serotonin in your brain, which is what impacts your mood. If you're feeling cranky, it might be because you're not producing enough serotonin!

😍 Signs of Vitamin D Deficiency (and How to Get More)

03:33
Vitamin D is likely one of the most vital vitamins that you simply need. Listed here are some indicators to let you know in case you are vitamin D deficient. The most well-recognized consequence of not getting sufficient vitamin D is rickets in youngsters and osteomalacia in adults. The results are quite a few and embody skeletal illnesses, metabolic issues, most cancers, heart problems, autoimmune illnesses, infections, cognitive problems, and mortality. About 80-90 % of our vitamin D comes from sun exposure. Even the best dietary sources of vitamin D aren’t loaded with this nutrient. Most children and adults underneath 70 get 600 IUs of vitamin D every day, and people over 70 need to aim for 800. IUs are international units. Without daylight as a supply of vitamin D, children may very well be in danger for rickets, a softening of the bones, and adults may very well be at a higher threat for osteoporosis. Signs of vitamin D deficiency: – Muscle and bone weakness: the vitamin is important for bones and muscle tissues and tooth. In case your muscle tissues, enamel or bones really feel weak you could possibly be poor in vitamin D. – Feeling unhappy: Women with low ranges of vitamin D usually tend to be depressed or struggle with deep emotions of unhappiness. – Pain sensitivity: individuals who have persistent ache have insufficient vitamin D ranges. – Chronic gum disease: individuals who have low vitamin D ranges are extra weak to swelling, reddening and bleeding of gums. – Hypertension: Vitamin D is essential for the guts, and while you don’t get sufficient of it, the blood stress may rise. – Sleepiness: Individuals who have low vitamin D ranges, lack the power to go all through the day and will have a continuing feeling of fatigue. – Mood swings: Vitamin D helps with serotonin production and this hormone has a significant influence on the temper. – Decreased endurance: Athletes which have a low vitamin D degree carry out much less and have decrease power ranges in comparison with different athletes with larger vitamin D ranges. – Chubby: This fats-soluble vitamin is saved in fats cells, and people who find themselves chubby want extra vitamin D. – Darker pores and skin: African-Americans are at a better danger of vitamin D deficiency, as a result of the darker pores and skin wants about 10 times more sun exposure to produce the same quantity of vitamin D as an individual with pale pores and skin. – Head sweating: This is without doubt one of the basic signs of vitamin D deficiency. Extreme sweating in newborns occurs due to neuromuscular irritability. Sources of vitamin D: – Salmon – Sardines – Egg yolks – Shrimp – Milk – Cereals – Yogurt – Orange juice Sources: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/04/29/vitamin-d-deficiency-signs-symptoms_n_5200408.html http://www.prevention.com/health/health-concerns/vitamin-d-deficient SUBSCRIBE TO OUR CHANNEL AND SHARE VIDEOS WITH ALL YOUR FRIENDS Visit us: http://www.greatlifeandmore.com/ Follow us on FaceBook: https://www.facebook.com/Great-Life-and-more-491202454380757 More info: http://greatlifeandmore.com/index.php/2016/03/16/signs-of-vitamin-d-deficiency-and-how-to-get-more/

7 Signs of Low Vitamin D (How Many do You Know?)

07:46
So many people in the industrialized nations are deficient in Vitamin D, it is truly an epidemic. When you consider that it is not just a vitamin, but also a pro-hormone, you can begin to understand the importance of this deficiency. Vitamin D deficiency can lead to weakened bones, yes, but it can also lead to weakened immune systems as well. The risk of cancer, and many other illnesses, increases with a dropping vitamin D level. The best way to get Vitamin D is from the Sun and from your diet. If you live too far north for the Sun, and can't get enough in your diet, then you should supplement. Having a healthy Vitamin D level is very important to your good health and longevity. *Vitamin D & Weight Loss Video: https://youtu.be/M0GBrrt2YWI * ------- Join me and let's optimize your health! ------- A Good Vit D Supplement: https://amzn.to/2I1UFmz Vit D + Vit K2 Supplement: https://amzn.to/2rry7FC Get Dr Berry's Best-Selling Book: LIES MY DOCTOR TOLD ME 📕--▶ http://a.co/g53H5g7 FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/kendberry.md/ INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/kendberry.md/ TWITTER: https://twitter.com/KenDBerryMD Thanks so much to Mary C., Lisa G., Paul R., Doyle R., Robyn D., Jeff P., Joe W., and John C. for being generous Patrons, and helping make this video possible… ▶You can help too, by becoming a Patron: https://goo.gl/kJJYws 🆕 Patron-Only FaceBook Page: https://goo.gl/XLVjmc (you may have to type a code to prove you're human) 📳Speak with Dr. Berry face-to-face about medical questions you might have using eVisit: https://goo.gl/7ibtW5 Ken D Berry, MD, FAAFP, is a Board Certified Family Physician and Fellow in The American Academy of Family Physicians. 5 Vitamin Deficiencies That Show Up in Your Face

03:28
Most people admit they have trouble sticking to a healthy diet. But when we steer away from food that’s loaded with nutrients, we may be robbing our bodies of obtaining precious vitamins. Vitamin deficiencies are more serious than many realize. It’s been estimated that more than 1 billion people globally are Vitamin D deficient. A severe Vitamin A deficiency may even lead to death. As your body starves for these essential vitamins, your immune system can become weakened. It’s easy to track your daily nutrient and vitamin amounts when you take a multivitamin. But there’s also another way; just look in the mirror. In today’s video we will review the five physical signs of vitamin deficiencies. 1. Puffy Eyes Upon waking, everyone’s eyes may seem puffy. But excessing puffiness may be signaling a low supply of iodine. This is a great time to stock up on: Cranberries, yogurt, kelp, potatoes, strawberries, navy beans 2. Pale Skin If you notice your complexion is growing pale, it may be a sign you need to increase your Vitamin B12 intake. When it’s lacking, your skin can suffer and you’ll also feel fatigued. One way to boost these levels is to eat plenty of: Salmon, red meat, fortified cereal, yogurt, swiss cheese 3. Dry Hair If your bad hair days are due to dryness, this could be a hint that you are lacking biotin or Vitamin B7. You may also notice a significant amount of dandruff. One culprit could be antibiotics. The remedy is to eat: Eggs, almonds, nuts, legumes, whole grains 4. Pale Lips Take a good look at your lips. If they are pale, it could mean you need more iron. An iron deficiency can weaken your immune system. Catching more colds can also be blamed on low iron levels. If this is the case, change your diet to include: Red meat, seafood, beans, dark green leafy vegetables, iron-fortified cereals, peas 5. Bleeding Gums It’s normal to see a little blood after flossing, but if you notice that your gums are so sensitive they are bleeding frequently, try adding Vitamin C to your diet. A clue that your immune system is weak can also be experiencing muscle pain and dental problems. Again, there are plenty of foods that can spring into action and boost your immune system and heal your gums: Oranges, red peppers, kale, brussels sprouts, broccoli, strawberries, grapefruit ---------------------------------------------------------- Disclaimer: The materials and the information contained on Natural Cures channel are provided for general and educational purposes only and do not constitute any legal, medical or other professional advice on any subject matter. 11 Signs And Symptoms Of Vitamin D Deficiency In Men & Women

04:27
Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin which is essential for optimal health. This vitamin is mostly made in the skin by exposure to sunlight but some foods contain very little vitamin D naturally. Vitamin D is needed for the absorption and use of phosphorus and calcium from the small intestine and is also crucial for normal mineralization of bones. Moreover, this vitamin fights infections, including flu and colds, as it regulates the expression of genes that influence your immune system to attack and destroy viruses and harmful bacteria. Currently, it is estimated more than 1 billion people worldwide have low vitamin D levels. Vitamin D deficiency can result from many reasons, including - inadequate exposure to sunlight, too much sunscreen protection, certain prescription medications, pregnancy, dark skin pigmentation, and abnormal intestinal absorption. The most accurate way to measure how much vitamin D you have in your body is the 25-hydroxy vitamin D blood test. A level less than 12 ng/mL signifies vitamin D deficiency. A level of 20 nanograms/milliliter to 50 ng/mL is considered adequate for healthy people. Vitamin D deficiency doesn’t always cause symptoms, however, sometimes it does, and some of the symptoms may include: #1 Depression - studies have linked low levels of vitamin D with episodes of depression. This usually occurs particularly during the winter months because of the lack of sun during that time of year. #2 Obesity - the prevalence of vitamin D deficiency is higher in persons with high subcutaneous adiposity and high visceral adiposity than in individuals with low subcutaneous and visceral adiposity. #3 Fatigue - this vitamin is necessary for the body to produce energy. Hence, if you are constantly tired, best to play it safe and get your vitamin D levels checked. #4 Headaches - according to a Finnish study, people with the lowest levels of vitamin D were more than twice as likely to have headaches at least once a week, compared to those with the highest levels. #5 Mood changes and irritability - the so-called happy hormone (serotonin) falls with a lack of sun exposure. Therefore, if you feel low or irritable, it could be a sign. #6 Restless sleep - the connection between restless sleep and vitamin D deficiency is not surprising since vitamin D is involved in the regulation of phosphorous and calcium as well as brain function and immune regulation. #7 Bone pain - low blood levels of vitamin D may be a contributing factor to bone pain and lower back pain. #8 A general unwell feeling - subtle aches and an overall feeling of being unwell may be a primary symptom of a vitamin D deficiency. #9 Sweating too much - excessive sweating due to overstimulation of sweat glands is described as an early symptom of vitamin D deficiency. The most common areas for this to occur is the neck and head. #10 Low immunity - one of the most common symptoms of deficiency in vitamin D is an increased risk of illness or infections because it has a significant role in the immune function. #11 High blood pressure - numerous studies have concluded that there is a link between vitamin D and high blood pressure. Important note - Most experts recommend getting about 15 minutes per day of direct sunlight without wearing sunscreen if you are fair to medium toned. More importantly, if you have dark skin, you will likely need more time in the sun to produce sufficient vitamin D since your skin has more protection against the sun’s effects. Cruciferous vegetables contain a compound which helps you use vitamin D better. This compound is called sulforaphane, and you’ll find it in cruciferous plants (including cabbage, cauliflower, kale, and broccoli) and spicy herbs. Thank you. Warning Signs You Are Vitamin D Deficient

03:10
Did you know that Vitamin-D isn’t actually a vitamin? It’s a steroid hormone that our bodies produce when we get enough sunshine. We can also get it from certain food sources or from supplements. Whatever it is, getting enough Vitamin-D is vital. Vitamin-D deficiency has been linked to heart disease, breast, colon and prostate-cancer, depression, weight-gain and more. While doctors can’t say for sure that a lack of Vitamin-D causes these conditions, it has been proven that people with higher levels of Vitamin-D have a lower risk of these diseases. In addition to lowering your risk of illness, Vitamin-D plays some very specific roles in the body such as: • Contributing to the formation and preservation of strong and healthy bones • Boosting the immune-system and fighting infection • Helping the muscles function • Helping circulation and heart health Certain categories of people are more at risk of developing Vitamin-D deficiency than others. If you fall into one or more of the following categories, you should get your Vitamin-D levels checked. You’re Over 50 – as we age, our skin doesn’t make as much Vitamin-D from the sun. Our kidneys also convert less Vitamin-D into the form our bodies need it in. You Have Dark Skin – because skin pigment acts as a natural sunscreen, the darker your skin, the more sun exposure you need. It’s estimated that African Americans need as much as 10-times the sun exposure of those with pale skin, to meet Vitamin D needs. You’re Overweight or Obese – Vitamin D is fat-soluble, meaning the more body fat you have, the more Vitamin-D you’ll need. You have Digestive Issues – if you suffer from digestive problems that affect your intestines ability to absorb Vitamin-D from your food, then you may be deficient.  Type of Climate – naturally, if you live in a climate with little or no sun, then your body won’t be able to make all the Vitamin-D it needs from sunshine. Still worried you might be Vitamin-D deficient? Here are some signs you should be watching out for: 1.Depression or Anxiety Low levels of Vitamin-D have been linked with depression and anxiety. The bottom line is, if you’re struggling with low moods or cognitive problems, then it can be a sign you’re lacking in Vitamin D. 2.Achy, Weak or Broken Bones When it comes to bone health, the two most important nutrients are calcium and Vitamin D. If you’re constantly getting achy bones (known as osteomalacia), fractures or breaks, then a Vitamin D deficiency might be to blame. 3.Problems Sleeping If you can’t nod off despite following a perfect night time routine, filling your bedroom with plants to help you sleep and employing a whole host of natural sleep remedies, then it might be that you’re lacking in the sunshine vitamin. Low Vitamin D levels can seriously mess up your sleeping pattern and cause sleep disorders like insomnia, sleep apnea, REM related apnea, unexplained awakenings and inappropriate body movements during sleep. 4.Frequent Infections Since Vitamin D plays a vital role in a well-functioning immune system, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that frequent infections (cause by poor immunity) signal a lack of Vitamin D. German researchers have found that Vitamin D increases your immune function by up to 5 times, while boosting your ability to fight off infections and viruses. Vitamin D Deficiency Symptoms [2018]

Vitamin D Deficiency Symptoms, Effects, and Treatment What is your vitamin D level? You don't know. Could you have vitamin D deficiency? Subscribe so you’ll never miss my latest videos. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBve_ppCNE67fs3MsIocitg?sub_confirmation=1 Be sure to follow me on: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/dr.frita/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Dr.Frita Vitamin D, vitamin D, vitamin D. Everyone seems to be talking about vitamin D lately. But what's the big deal? Why should you care about vitamin D? Well, I'll tell you why, because there are many, many consequences of vitamin D deficiency. One consequence, having a poor immune system or being sickly. You can also have muscle weakness with vitamin D deficiency. And, of course, you can have weak bones if your vitamin D is deficient. There are some observational studies that show that vitamin D deficiency may be associated with fatigue, poor wound healing, hair loss. What is vitamin D? Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that is important in your body's absorption of calcium and phosphorus, which are both essential for bone health. But beyond being essential for bone health, vitamin D is also important for your immune system and for muscle strength. How do you get vitamin D in your system? Well, one way is through sun exposure. Yes, on a beautiful sunny day like today your skin can actually synthesize vitamin D from the sunlight. You can also get vitamin D through your diet, through foods like fatty fish, cod liver oil, cow's milk, and some vitamin D can be found in eggs, and then, of course, you can take vitamin D supplements. Who is at risk for vitamin D deficiency? People who don't have enough sun exposure are at risk. So if you are a person who wears a lot of sunscreens, or if you always carry an umbrella to prevent sun exposure, then you could be at risk for vitamin D deficiency, or people with darker skin with a lot of melanin in the skin are also at risk for vitamin D deficiency. Also, if you are a person who is homebound, or bed bound like a nursing home patient, you are at risk, and people who live in cold climates where they are essentially indoors during all the winter months, and not out getting sun exposure. These people are also at risk for vitamin D deficiency. You are also at risk if you have an inadequate dietary intake of vitamin D. What happens if you don't eat fatty fish, if you don't eat eggs, if you don't drink a cow's milk, and if you don't supplement your diet with vitamin D? Then certainly you can have vitamin D deficiency. You are also at risk for vitamin D deficiency if you are unable to absorb the vitamin D in your intestines properly. If you have Crohn's disease, then you are at risk, and if you have had a gastric bypass surgery, you can also be at risk for vitamin D deficiency. Patients with kidney or liver disease are at risk for vitamin D deficiency as well. Here's why. Both the liver and the kidney have enzymes which help to transform vitamin D into a biologically active form, so if you have kidney disease or liver disease, then make sure you check with your doctor for your vitamin D level, because you are definitely at risk for vitamin D deficiency. So how can you be diagnosed with vitamin D deficiency? Well, you simply go to your physician and ask for a blood test, your vitamin D level. A normal vitamin D level is at very least 30 nanograms per milliliter, but we actually prefer your vitamin D level to be greater than 50. You have vitamin D insufficiency if your vitamin D level is less than 30, and you have frank vitamin D deficiency if your vitamin D level is less than 20. So what is the treatment for vitamin D deficiency? Well, in addition to sun exposure, and to increasing vitamin D in your diet, you can get vitamin D supplementation. The two most commonly used vitamin D supplements are vitamin D2, or ergocalciferol, and vitamin D3, or cholecalciferol. I actually use both of these types of vitamin D when I treat my patients in my practice with vitamin D deficiency. This ends my overview of vitamin D deficiency symptoms, effects, and treatment. Yes, you can overdose by taking high amounts of vitamin D3 without vitamin K2 and end up with hypercalcemia (high blood calcium). Vitamin K2 takes calcium from the soft tissue and from the blood and sticks it into the bone. If a person is taking lots of vitamin D with calcium, then it's even worst. The symptoms of too much calcium can be vomiting, kidney stones, abdominal pain, depression, frequent urination, extra thirst and heart problems. How to Blast Belly Fat with Vitamin D- Thomas DeLauer

06:32
How Vitamins D & K Blast Belly Fat is an in-depth explanation of the many benefits of vitamins D and K and how they work together to battle belly fat. Find out what the best food sources for these and how they actually help to clot the blood and assist the body in absorbing calcium. Learn all about the supplements that are most important with my coaching Blogs and Videos at http://www.ThomasDeLauer.com How Vitamin D3 Works 1. Vitamin D was discovered in 1920 where its importance in our bodies was realized in discovering a way to cure rickets, a painful bone disease in children (2) 2. Vitamin D fortified foods began within a decade, making rickets rare in the US (2) 3. Vitamins are defined as an essential nutrient that your body cannot produce on its own and must acquire from the diet - Vitamin D is not actually a vitamin, but a hormone, which is a chemical that regulates body physiology. (1) a. Your skin makes vitamin D when exposed to sunlights, so it does not need to acquire it from food if adequate sunlight is available (2) i. The only natural foods that contain vitamin D are fish and egg yolks (2) What Does Vitamin D Do? 1. We are discovering more and more ways that the body utilized vitamin D as time goes on a. Vitamin D receptors, proteins that bind to vitamin D, exists in many of the body’s tissues, including the heart, muscles, endocrine glands, prostate and many others. (2) 2. Bone health - vitamin D is essential for our bodies to be able to absorb calcium. Without enough vitamin D, the body absorbs only 10-15% of dietary calcium, versus 30-40% when our vitamin D levels are normal. How to Get Enough Vitamin D Now that we understand how important vitamin D is in our bodies, and how likely it is that we do not have enough, how do we get more? 1. Sunlight - It can be a good idea to first spend a bit of time in the sun before applying sunscreen a. spend 10-15 minutes three times per week without sunscreen on. This may be enough to prevent deficiencies (5) 2. Fatty fish, such as salmon, tuna and mackerel, and egg yolks (5) 3. Fortified foods: Many foods have been fortified with vitamin D, so look for this at your grocery store. Such foods include some milks, yogurts, orange juices and cereals (2) 4. Mushroom trick: mushrooms are a great source of natural vitamin D a. Exposing mushrooms to sunlight prior to eating them will ramp up their vitamin D levels! So sit them on your window sill or backyard prior to adding them to your food (6) 5. UV Lamps a. They are similar to tanning beds, but not identical. They carry the same skin-cancer risk as the sun or tanning beds, so be careful not to overdo it. These are a great option for those who live where there is little access to direct sunlight (8) 6. Supplementation: Last is supplementation. It is best to obtain some sunlight and concentrate on adding additional vitamin D in your diet. That being said, if you believe you are lacking vitamin D you can always buy supplements. Total recommended intake can vary from about 200 IU to 400 IU per day, including what you get from diet and sunlight. (5) 1. (Benefits & Proper Dosage) http://www.SeanNal.com/articles/supplementation/vitamin-d-bodybuilding.php The number of supplements out there that I would place on my "highly recommended" list are extremely few and far between, but for the majority of individuals, vitamin d is definitely one of them. Vitamin D benefits are quite lengthy, ranging from optimizing testosterone production to balancing mood to improving bone health to enhancing cognitive function. Unfortunately, most people in today's modern society do have a small (or large) vitamin D deficiency and aren't receiving enough each day for optimal health. Unless you spend many hours a day outside in the sun or live in a very warm climate, it's almost certain that you should be including a vitamin D3 supplement in your bodybuilding and fat loss plan. Although it won't have any serious direct effects on muscle growth or fat loss, its many positive health benefits will definitely carry over and help you out in the big picture. How much vitamin D is necessary? It will vary from person to person and you'd ultimately need to get blood work done to know for sure, but a vitamin d dosage of around 2000-5000IU per day is a good guideline. (The risk of toxicity is very low) Do vitamin supplements work? Yes, the research has clearly shown that supplementing with vitamin D3 will raise and sustain levels in the blood. It's also relatively inexpensive which is an added bonus. Again, vitamin D is not going to have any magical muscle growth effects, but it's still definitely a worthwhile supplement to consume. For example, its effects on mood and well being may improve your overall drive and motivation in and out of the gym... its effects on immune system function can help to fight off sickness... and its effects on optimizing testosterone could help out if your levels are particularly low. So, to correct your vitamin d deficiency and get all of the vitamin d benefits outlined in this video, I would highly recommend consuming a vitamin d3 supplement each day. For the best effects, take it with a meal (ideally one that contains some fat) in the morning or afternoon.

Have you ever considered that you might be Vitamin D deficient? According to some statistics, there’s a very good chance that you are. Some reports put the percentage of people with a Vitamin D deficiency as high as fifty percent. This lack of an essential vitamin can have significant consequences for your everyday life, that you may have never associated with not getting enough sunlight. These consequences include depression, cancer, and fragile bones. Yes, the primary source for Vitamin D is the sun. Our body converts sunlight into nutrients that strengthen our bones and muscles. However, the sun isn’t the only source for Vitamin D. It’s found predominantly in fresh fish and eggs, but can also be bought in supplement form. Vitamins D-1, D-2, and D-3 are all fat soluble and are commonly found in all health food stores. Vitamin D

16:39
In this video you'll discover the nootropic benefits of Vitamin D. Including why we use Vitamin D as a nootropic, recommended dosage, side effects and clinical research. Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol or calciol) is unique because it is not a standard vitamin. It’s actually a fat-soluble steroid hormone. Vitamin D is mostly made in your skin from sun exposure. Not primarily from food like most of our other vitamins. As a nootropic, Vitamin D is critical for the synthesis of GABA, glutamate and glutamine, and dopamine in your brain. Vitamin D is involved in gene expression, regulation of neurotrophic factors, neuroplasticity, and brain development early in life. All in areas of the brain associated with depression. And the neuroplasticity needed for memory formation and retrieval. Vitamin D protects your brain from DNA damage through prevention of telomere shortening and inhibition of telomerase activity. And prevents oxidative damage to DNA. Vitamin D3 is the fat-soluble steroid hormone form of Vitamin D. The “sunshine vitamin” is considered essential. Your skin synthesizes Vitamin D3 from ultraviolet-B (UVB) sunlight. As a neurohacker, you should be aware that you are likely deficient in this essential vitamin. Vitamin D deficiency (hypovitaminosis D) is an undeclared worldwide pandemic affecting nearly 50% of the population on this planet. The preferred method for getting adequate Vitamin D is from UVB sunlight on exposed skin. But all kinds of things can interfere with getting enough Vitamin D from sunlight. Fall and Winter in both hemispheres, cloud cover, smog, skin color, sunscreen, and too much clothing are all factors. And most of us spend so much time indoors, to get its benefits you should take Vitamin D3 as a supplement. Recommended Vitamin D3 dosage is 4,000 IU’s per day. Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin present in fatty foods, such as meat; dairy; plant oils and oily fish. Nevertheless, most of our vitamin D is made by the body when the skin is subjected to sunlight. Many foods, such as dairy; cereals and drinks are also fortified with vitamin D in a bid to maintain normal vitamin d levels, especially among kids. Vitamin D deficiency was a universal issue in the past and resulted in many kids developing rickets; a condition that causes bone to become soft, and one which usually leaves youngsters with serious bone deformities. Vitamin D fortification programs and vitamin d3 supplements have all but wiped out rickets but the condition does seem to be making a comeback in some countries Vitamin D deficit also causes bone conditions in grown-ups, including osteoporosis. In more recent years, studies have shown that low vitamin D levels are also linked to a wide variety of diseases, including diabetes; cancer and heart disease. Vitamin D Blood Test These days you can find several DIY test kits out there which let you test your vitamin D levels at home, however the accuracy and reliability of the tests is doubtful. The best and most reliable test is the 25-hydroxy vitamin D test. For this test to be done, a blood sample must be taken, either by the doctor or by a duly certified clinical technician. Understanding The Outcome Of A Vitamin D Test According to the MedlinePlus website, the normal spectrum for vitamin D is thirty to seventy four nanograms of vitamin D per milliliter of blood. These values may differ a little however from one lab to another. The main reasons behind vitamin D deficiency are: - Insufficient sunlight - Poor diet plan - Poor food ingestion - Liver and/or kidney illness - Certain drugs Most vitamin D deficiency cases come from too little sunlight exposure, and can be treated with a daily vitamin D3 supplement. Even vitamin D deficiency cases in hot and sunny areas of the world are usually due to a lack of sunlight since people like to protect themselves from the sun. Deficiency And Diet If a vitamin D blood test shows low vitamin D levels, it could also be your diet, although this is rare. To be on the safe side, start including foods like eggs; oily fish; fortified cereals and etc. in your diet. If your vitamin D level is just a bit below normal, a vitamin D prescription will typically only involve a vitamin D3 cholecalciferol supplement. A vitamin D test it will go far in helping you to prevent some really bad illnesses in the future. Vitamin D deficiency can be treated 100% successfully with a good vitamin D3 5000 IU supplement. You can purchase your "Platinum Grade" Nutra Mina Vitamin D3 5000 IU supplements today at Amazon, and enjoy the benefits of the world's best vitamin D products. Vitamin D And Weight Loss: New Research Reveals Secret To Weight Loss

03:34
http://www.VitaminDCouponCodes.com Vitamin D And Weight Loss - New Research Reveals Secret To Weight Loss Recent studies into vitamin D have further expanded our understanding about how it affects our bodies. In a study done in 2000, which is published in the Archives of Internal Medicine, it was stated that at least 77% of the American population suffers from vitamin D deficiency. Vitamin D plays a crucial role in strengthening our bones, fighting depression and boosting our immune system. What's more, studies have shown that vitamin D may also help with improving our moods and preventing disorders such as depression. Now, most of us seem to blame what we eat when we're gaining excess weight, or not losing weight fast enough. In reality, it might be something you're not eating too much of that's causing the problem. Shockingly, after decades of research and thousands of studies, experts may have finally proven that missing out on vitamin D could be a major factor in pushing the number on your scale higher and higher. Unlike other essential vitamins, vitamin D isn't something we normally consume through what we eat, although it can readily be manufactured inside our bodies, provided that we get enough exposure to sunlight. Unfortunately, however, our body's ability to produce vitamin D is hindered by sunscreen products, products we use to prevent sunburn and skin cancer. Depending on the level of SPF and the way it is applied, sunscreen could reduce your body's capacity to produce vitamin D by as much as 90-99%. What's more, even if you don't use any form of protection against the sun, you might not be soaking in the right kind of rays to produce vitamin D efficiently. The sunlight you're most likely to get on a daily basis, the sunlight in the early morning and late afternoon, is normally too weak to generate enough vitamin D. Air pollution can also filter out some of the UVB rays, so less of them are able to reach your skin at any time of day. A far safer way to get vitamin D is through your diet. Taking in food supplements, such as our PLATINUM Series Vitamin D3, is a lot more reliable than trying to soak up sunlight through your skin. And, here's the best part, as your vitamin D consumption increases, your waistband could start to feel a whole lot looser. Every cell in our body needs vitamin D to function properly, including fat cells. Special receptors for vitamin D signal whether you should burn fat or simply store it.When vitamin D plugs into these receptors, it's like a key that revs your body's flab-melting mechanism. Long story short: You burn fat with very little effort. Of course, it's always healthy to add a bit of exercise to that new diet plan. 7 Signs Of Vitamin D Deficiency To Never Ignore ! Once considered an ageing problem, vitamin deficiencies have now become very common amongst all ages - especially teenagers and adolescents. Vitamin D is one such essential nutrient that helps your bones grow and stay strong. More importantly, Vitamin D is required for the absorption of calcium by the body. Vitamin D is primarily produced in your body when the sun’s ultraviolet rays strike the skin. If you’re not sure, here are seven signs and symptoms of Vitamin D deficiency. For some people, the symptoms may be very subtle, yet if you have been experiencing any of these regularly it’s best to consult your doctor at the earliest. 1. Feeling low and moody: The activity of the brain hormone, serotonin, increases with sun exposure. Studies have shown the low levels of Vitamin d in the body affects the amount of feel-good chemicals in the brain that can make you moody and irritable most of the times. 2. Chronic Pain: You experience regular aches, muscle weakness and joint pains. People with low levels of Vitamin D are more sensitive to pain. 3. Constant fatigue: You feel tired and fatigued all the time even after being well rested. You may also feel lethargic and anxious. Adequate amount of Vitamin D in the body is known to boost our energy levels and increase muscle functions. 4. Sweaty head: One of the most common signs of a Vitamin D deficiency is head sweating. In case of new-borns, a sweaty forehead is usually the first sign of Vitamin D deficiency. 5. Daytime sleepiness: A lot of studies indicate that people with low levels of Vitamin D are at a higher risk of experiencing daytime sleepiness and other sleep disorders. 6. Frequent flu attacks and respiratory infections: You may be prone to more allergies and infections since Vitamin D plays an important role in reducing inflammation and regulating the functions of the cells in your immune system. 7. Gum disease: Bleeding, reddening and swelling of the gums may also indicate low levels of Vitamin D. Simply put, it is mostly obtained from sun exposure but it is also naturally present in some foods like mushrooms, soy milk, eggs and oily fish. thank you for watching. please like, comment, subscribe and share with your friends and family.

A deficiency of vitamin D might be caused by numerous reasons, although for many folks, low vitamin D is the result of a lack of sun exposure and diet. With that having been said, a human can have plenty of vitamin D in their blood stream even if their diet program contains zero vitamin D. For the overwhelming majority of people, vitamin D deficiency can be evaded by spending additional time in the sun, or by taking a good quality vitamin D3 health supplement. In fact, plenty of people are amazed when they find out that vitamin D deficiency treatment entails nothing more than them having to take a daily capsule. The seven most typical vitamin D deficiency causes are: - Too little exposure to direct sunshine - Inadequate diet -- a diet that lack vitamin D rich food items, like oil fish - Skin color -- dark skin makes vitamin D at a slower rate when compared to light skin - Excessive weight -- fat cells pull out vitamin D from the blood - Kidney disease -- certain illnesses prevent the kidneys from processing vitamin D - Compromised gastrointestinal tract -- a number of ailments prevent assimilation of vitamin D - Age -- our bodies produce a reduced amount of vitamin D as we grow older Okay, now that we have taken a look at a few of the things that may cause a lack of vitamin D, let's have a look at the two most common symptoms of vitamin D deficiency: - Muscle weakness - Bone aching It is very important for people to be aware of the fact that many folks don't experience any sort of vitamin D deficiency symptoms for several years. Individuals who do experience painful bones or weak muscles are in a way actually lucky, given it will often result in them seeking professional medical advice. For many folks however, vitamin D deficiency tends to stay out of sight and out of mind until the damage has already been done. The WebMD website warns that prolonged vitamin D3 deficiency can result in serious consequences. Specialists have associated low blood levels of vitamin D to the following: - Greater risk of dying from heart disease - Cognitive degeneration in senior adults - Chronic/severe asthma in children - Numerous forms of cancer The Two Most Notorious Vitamin D Related Illnesses The two most infamous vitamin D related conditions are rickets and osteomalacia. Rickets affects children while osteomalacia affects adults. 7 Signs Of A Vitamin D Deficiency Please SUBSCRIBE : http://bit.ly/2e9Su11 The Vitamin D is a very crucial piece of the entire human body puzzle, and the lack of it can cause severe health issues. This fat-soluble vitamin is tightly related to the body’s calcium and enables proper and solid bones growth and development. Furthermore, Vitamin D strengthens the immunity and reduces the odds for cancer. Often forgotten, vitamin D is essential alongside other vitamins, if your body is to work and prosper ideally. Vitamin D is not only responsible for preventing certain diseases, but for neutralizing any symptoms of their occurrence as well. If the human body faces a lack of vitamin D, brittle bones are the first health problem that happens. This is especially found in youths, since the bones grow and form mostly during the first years in a person’s life. If this happens, other issues follow quickly, including skeletal deformities and fragile bones, and an increased risk of injuries and fractures. Still, the bones are not the only ones that suffer if vitamin D is not present in the human organism. According to one study, this important vitamin is responsible for preventing hypertension and type 1 and 2 diabetes, as well as multiple sclerosis (MS). =============================== 7 signs of low vitamin d, low vitamin d signs, what are signs of low vitamin d, what are symptoms of low vitamin d, is my vitamin d low, low vitamin d, osteomalacia, rickets, osteoporosis, vitamin d deficiency symptoms, vitamin d deficiency, symptoms of vitamin d deficiency, vitamin d, dr ken berry, ken berry md, dr berry, is vitamin D imporant, how important is vitamin d, should i supplement vitamin d, do i need vitamin d, vitamin d uk Please SUBSCRIBE : http://bit.ly/2e9Su11

This video focuses on the causes of vitamin B12, the main symptoms, as well as some tips on how to remedy this deficiency in a totally natural way. Since it increases energy in the evening and gives a boost of energy while doing cardio exercises, vitamin B12 is often referred to as the "energy" vitamin. In addition, it looks like an effective weight loss tool and has become all the rage in medical weight loss clinic. Its popularity goes to the size of clinics and health spas that offer discounts for vitamin B12 injections. Vitamin B12 is of utmost importance as it takes a vital role in many bodily functions. These include: - Good digestion. - Iron Absorption. - Fat and Carbohydrate Metabolism. - Nervous growth and training. - Healthy reproductive system in women. - Adrenal hormone secretion. - Circulation. - Formation of red blood cells. - Healthy nervous system. CAUSES OF DEFICIENCY OF VITAMIN B12. Vitamin B12 deficiency can be triggered by different factors, of which the following are the most common: - Antacids affect the assimilation of vitamin B12 because the body needs enough stomach acid to absorb it. - Nitrous oxide, also known as laughter gas, destroys vitamin B12 in the body - Drinking more than 4 cups of coffee a day leads to a 15 percent reduction in vitamin B12 levels. - Gastric bypass weight loss surgery changes digestive mechanisms, affecting the absorption of vitamin B12. - The H. pylori bacterium destroys the stomach cells that create the "intrinsic factor", which are necessary for the absorption of vitamin B12. SYMPTOMS OF DEFICIENCY OF VITAMIN B12. Optic Nerves / Vision Problems. In case you notice any changes in your vision, such as double or blurred vision, test your vitamin B12 levels, since deficiency in this vitamin often leads to vision problems. Anxiety. Since vitamin B12 stimulates the production of dopamine and serotonin, known as "happy" brain chemicals, anxiety is often a warning sign of low levels of vitamin B12. Changes in taste. The blows on the tongue are responsible for recognizing the taste of the food you eat. In case you notice changes in your taste and often get a 'blah' impression of food, it is very likely that you are deficient in vitamin B12. Yellow skin. When the body lacks vitamin B12, it loses its ability to produce strong cells. The degradation of red blood cells causes yellow skin and is a sure sign of vitamin B12 deficiency. Memory loss. Memory loss is often caused by vitamin B12 deficiency, especially in young people who are young to develop dementia. Inability to keep your eyes open. This is a result of lack of oxygen in the blood, which is caused directly by deficiency of the vitamin itself. Dizziness. Feeling dizzy is another sign of lack of oxygen in the blood. Numbness. Sensation of numbness and tingling is the result of nerve damage, which occurs due to vitamin B12 deficiency. RISK GROUPS READY TO B12 DEFICIENCY. - Vegans and vegetarians who do not eat animal products. - Diabetics on Metformin, since this drug affects the absorption of vitamin B12. - People 60 years or older who do not have enough stomach acid. - People diagnosed with autoimmune disorders, such as celiac or Crohn's disease.

Vitamin D is very important vitamin because calcium can not absorb from intestine in absence of Vitamin D. Vitamin D more we get from sunlight from UVB rays & less we get from food. So,it is compulsory to take sunbath. Oily fish, milk, butter, egg yolk are sources of vitamin D but it contain very less amount which is not sufficient. Deficiency of vitamin D occurs to the person who dont have exposure to sunlight due to indoor work whole day like businessman, housewife etc. Also deficiency occurs to the people who covered their body for religious purpose & the countries above 50 lattitude where little exposure of sunrays especially during october to early march. Fortunately viamin d is fat soluble vitamin so deficiency dont occur over night. It takes months till that body uses vit d from stored parts. People of north canada & USA advised to take fortified Vit D dairy products to avoid deficiency. In deficiency of vitamin D there is deficiency of calcium occurs. In defideficiency of calcium there are so many disease related to bone occurs. 1. Craving Sweets? This Vitamin Deficiency May Be to Blame

08:08
Would you believe that the majority of the population — up to 90 percent of adults in the United States — is believed to have a vitamin D deficiency? Many physicians are starting to take this vitamin deficiency very seriously; in fact, vitamin D is one of the most recommended supplements by physicians today. Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin that is stored in the liver and fatty tissues. This means that increased body fat has the ability to absorb vitamin D and keep it from being used within our body. Vitamin D is somewhat different than other vitamins because our body makes most of our vitamin D on its own, rather than solely relying on food sources. 5 Warning Signs of Vitamin C Deficiency You Should not Ignore

03:36
Vitamin-C is probably one of the most talked about vitamins around, yet almost one third of Americans aren’t consuming enough! A potent antioxidant, Vitamin-C known to fight free radicals in the body and plays a vital role in overall health. Concerned you might be Vitamin-C deficient? Here are some signs you should be watching for: 1.Slow Wound Healing If you notice your cuts and scrapes are slow to heal, have a closer look at your diet. As Vitamin-C is essential to the formation of collagen in the skin – a new connective tissue that binds a healing wound, a lack will lead to slow healing. Along with playing a role in collagen formation in healing wounds, Vitamin-C acts as a powerful antioxidant and immune-system booster – both of which encourage faster healing. 2.Dry or Splitting Hair and Nails A shiny head of hair and strong nails can often be a good indicator of a balanced-diet. Likewise, a lackluster mane that is dry and splitting may highlight a problem. Because hair is a non-essential tissue, nutrients such as Vitamin-C are sent to more important organs and tissues first, before making their way to the hair. So if you have less than ideal levels of the vitamin, you may find your hair is suffering. Furthermore, Vitamin-C is vital for the absorption of iron – a deficiency of which can cause chronic hair loss and slow hair growth, along with brittle and concave nails. 3.Swollen and Painful Joints Pain and swelling of the joints caused by inflammatory arthritis may be another sign you need to overhaul your diet. A 2004 study, conducted in Great-Britain, found that people who had low levels of Vitamin-C were 3-times more likely to develop rheumatoid arthritis than those whose diets included foods rich in the vitamin. 4.Swollen, Bleeding or Inflamed Gums Oral-health problems, like swollen or bleeding gums or recurrent mouth ulcers, are often linked to suboptimal levels of Vitamin-C. Again, collagen is important as it supports the gums. It’s estimated that gums turn over at least 20% of their collagen every day, meaning regular hits of Vitamin-C are vital for good teeth and gums. Low levels of the vitamin are linked with an increased risk of gum-disease which can range from simple gum inflammation to major soft tissue damage! 5.Poor Immune Function The immune-system, our body’s protection against infection and disease, is strongly influenced by the intake of nutrients, particularly Vitamin-C. Several cells in our immune-system need the vitamin to perform their tasks so naturally a deficiency leads to a reduced resistance against certain pathogens. Getting enough Vitamin-C means that our immune system will be in tip-top shape to reduce the risk, severity and duration of certain infectious diseases. The National Institutes of Health Office of Dietary Supplements recommends that men over the age of 18 get 90-mg of Vitamin-C a day from their diet, while women need 75-mg. Foods contain high levels of Vitamin-C are Sweet red pepper, Orange juice, Grapefruit juice, Kiwifruit, broccoli And strawberries.
