Wellbutrin review

06:00
I suffer from bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, and a generalized anxiety disorder. I've tried bupropion better known as its name brand Wellbutrin in the past as my main antidepressant and it didn't work very well when I was prescribed 300 mg of Wellbutrin. The first time around I experienced a lot of paranoia and anxiety. The good thing about Wellbutrin, in my opinion, is once you appear dosage by 100 mg over time and hit that 300 mg a day mark you start to lose a lot of weight. When I first started bupropion I was a little over 400 pounds and when I stopped taking it four months later I was down to 370 pounds. I recently started taking Bupropion xl 150mg along with my other bipolar and anxiety medication and after giving it a few weeks to kick in my depression is finally lifting again. Many people ask how long does it take to see results on Wellbutrin and I suggest you give it at least a month before you make any decisions. My current Wellbutrin side effects are: I have been more physically active, happier, my anxiety is up a little bit, I haven't been taking my normal daytime naps since I haven't been as sleepy, and my weight loss is continuing but that started prior to taking Bupropion XL My current medication stack that my psychiatrist has prescribed for me to battle my bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, generalized anxiety disorder and sleeping issues are: 120 mg of Duloxetine DR a.k.a. Cymbalta used to treat my depression. It also helps with my arthritis pain. 300 mg of Lamotrigine aka Lamictal my mood stabilizer 150mg of Bupropion XL usually referred to as Wellbutrin used to treat my bipolar depression. 200mg of Quetiapine which is an antipsychotic better known as Seroquel 1 mg of Alprazolam which you probably know as Xanax as needed for my anxiety issues. I really try to avoid taking it though. 10 mg of Zolpidem commonly referred to by its name brand of Ambien for my sleep. Thank you for taking the time to watch my video. Wellbutrin

19:38
Wellbutrin, more commonly prescribed as the generic Bupropion, remains a widely prescribed therapy for depression. Popular in part because it may lead to less weight gain and sexual dysfunction compared to other antidepressants, it probably lacks significant major therapeutic advantages versus its competitors. While Bupropion may provide some relief, it neither cures depression nor completely eliminates the symptoms.

Treatment Failure? Consider this short, important video playlist: *3 Basic ADHD Medication Challenges* http://corepsych.com/basic-3 Remember this: Prozac and Paxil both significantly block the pathway for the metabolism of Adderall IR and all the amphetamine products for ADHD treatment including Vyvanse, Dexedrine, and Adderall XR. If you take either of these two antidepressants together with an amphetamine, watch out. You can significantly become overdosed on the amphetamine through drug interactions. Often the interaction can unpredictably occur several months later. The patient becomes toxic to the amphetamine, angry, irrational, can't sleep, can't eat, or can become dangerously destructive - even psychotic. The Adderall/Vyvanse/amphetamine often gets blamed. The Prozac and the Paxil are the problems due to inhibiting the metabolism. This specific pathway interaction is relevant also for Concerta and MPH [methylphenidate] products blocking 2D6 when taken with AMP [amphetamine] products. - Should not mix these two. See "Drug Interaction Principles for Medical Practice," Wynn, Cozza, Armstrong, et al. for details. Antidepressants That Cause Weight Loss

05:30
http://bit.ly/yourfreehealthreport The Real Story about Antidepressants that Cause Weight Loss I speaking with a friend of mine I have come to find out about hwo many poeple are looking for the added benefit of using antidepressants that cause weight loss. In my research I have found that using antidepressants and expecting to lose weight has a mixed bag of results. First off using an antidepressant for weight loss is not a healthy option, the side effect seem to be the major cause of weight loss and if you like loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting well then that would be a major issue. Listen we all want to feel good, physically , mentally and emotionally and yes at times ant time the use of an antidepressant might have to be but it should only be a temporary solution and not a life long sentence. It is the same with weight loss. Yes your weight, and your health both emotionally and physically might fluctuate at times but we should always do our best to give our body and mind the proper nutrition , exercise and other natural input to create an environment where the body will thrive. In the process of coaching people on health I do not recommend people using prescription drugs but instead a more natural process to obtain ultimate health . Antidepressant and weight loss are not the best prescription for a healthy life and if that is what you are looking for it might just take a focused approached to create a healthier lifestyle which would in turn give you both, and better emotional feeling about life . Know that food and exercise, believe it or not , have a dramatic effect on both your physical , mental and emotional health . So in conclusion my opinion based on my nutrition and health studies and my research on antidepressants that cause weight loss is don't rely on them because the results will vary based upon your body type and chemistry but instead rely more so on creating a healthy life style and in turn you will lose the weight and feel great emotionally . Recovering from childhood abuse

20:26
This is video number two of my mental health journey playlist. Today I will be talking about recovering from childhood abuse. That abuse can be childhood sexual abuse, childhood physical abuse, verbal abuse a.k.a. emotional abuse or psychological abuse, parental neglect and parental abandonment. Adults after childhood abuse tend to have low self-esteem, anxiety issues, depression, other psychological issues and stagnate personal growth and development. I was inspired by the #MeToo movement to share my story and be part of the #Metoo man movement by sharing my childhood abuse story with you. Yes, a man can be a victim of sexual abuse too! If you are a victim of child abuse or trauma I encourage you to seek treatment and speak up so that we can help fight such a senseless and terrible thing. Also, do not let toxic parents or toxic family members control you anymore. Even if that means having to cut ties with them completely because only then can you begin healing from trauma. I suffer from bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, and various phobias. My current medication combination is: 120 mg of Duloxetine DR a.k.a. Get rid of all antidepressants to be healthier, live longer, Peter Gotzsche, MD

01:39
Hi, this is Larry Hobbs @ FatNews.com. http://fatnews.com/ https://twitter.com/fatnews Getting rid of all antidepressants would improve health, lengthen life says Prof. Peter Gotzsche MD “Given their lack of benefit, I estimate we could stop almost all psychotropic drugs without causing harm—by dropping all antidepressants, ADHD drugs, and dementia drugs (as the small effects are probably the result of unblinding bias) and using only a fraction of the antipsychotics and benzodiazepines we currently use,” writes Prof. Peter Gøtzsche, MD. “This would lead to healthier and more long lived populations. “Because psychotropic drugs are immensely harmful when used long term, they should almost exclusively be used in acute situations and always with a firm plan for tapering off, which can be difficult for many patients. “We need new guidelines to reflect this.” About Dr. Gøtzsche Dr. Gøtzsche is the author of several wonderful books including Deadly Psychiatry and Organised Denial in which he talks about the problems with psychiatric drugs. He is also author of the wonderful book Deadly Medicines and Organised Crime: How Big Pharma Has Corrupted Healthcare. Dr. Gøtzsche also cofounded the Cochrane Collaboration in 1993, which is a group of scientists around the world who analyze data to try and figure out the truth about drugs and other health topics. Hi, this is Larry Hobbs @ FatNews.com. http://fatnews.com/ https://twitter.com/fatnews Death rate 3.6% higher in people 65 and older taking newer antidepressants says Peter Gotzsche, MD (a death rate of 10.6% to 11.4% per year when taking newer antidepressants versus 7% when taking no antidepressants) “A cohort study of patients older than 65 who were their own control found that all cause mortality was 3.6% higher when patients were taking the newer antidepressants for one year than when they did not take antidepressants,” writes Prof. Peter Gøtzsche, MD. [The study he is referring to found that the death rate for all-cause mortality was 7.04% per year when patients were not taking antidepressants versus 10.61% per year when they were taking SSRI’s and 11.43% for other antidepressants not including tricyclic antidepressants.] About Dr. En iyi antidepresan ilaç hangisidir ? Dr. Ali Hilmi Yazıcı

04:10

Antidepressants have very little effect, Peter Gotzsche, MD

03:11
Hi, this is Larry Hobbs @ FatNews.com. http://fatnews.com/ https://twitter.com/fatnews Antidepressants found to have very little effect when compared to active placebo, Peter Gotzsche, MD Antidepressants have been found to have very little effect when compared to an active placebo—a placebo which causes dry mouth so that neither the patients nor the researchers can guess who is getting the real drug—notes Prof. Peter Gøtzsche, MD. He notes that the effect of the real antidepressants—tricyclic antidepressants in these trials—found a difference of only 1.3 points on the Hamilton Depression Scale, but the smallest effect that can be perceived is 5-6 points. Note: Studies show that serotonin reuptake inhibitors SSIR’s are no more effective than tricyclic antidepressants. For example, a meta-analysis published in 2000 which compared the efficacy of these two classes of drugs concluded that “There is no overall difference in efficacy between SSRIs and TCAs [tricyclic antidepressants such as amitriptiline].” Dr. Gøtzsche also notes that other antidepressant studies have found that it only takes a few days longer for the placebo group to improve by 1.3 points on the Hamilton Depression Scale which is simply the spontaneous remission of the disease. In other words, antidepressants have very little effect and most of the improvement that people experience over time is simply the natural, spontaneous remission of the depression. Antidepressants improve depression scores by only 1.3 points “A Cochrane review of tricyclic antidepressants included only trials that had atropine in the placebo to prevent unblinding because of the conspicuous side effects of the drugs. [Atropine causes dry mouth as do tricyclic antidepressants. This was done so that the patients and the researchers could not guess who was on the drug.] “This review did not find any meaningful effect; the effect corresponded to only 1.3 points on the Hamilton scale, and the smallest effect that can be perceived is 5-6 points,” writes Dr. Gøtzsche. “A meta-analysis of trials of fluoxetine [Prozac] and venlafaxine [Effexor] in severe depression showed that it takes only a few days longer before the Hamilton score in the placebo group drops by an additional 1.3 points. Thus, if we wait a few days, we would get the same result if taking a placebo, or if the patients weren’t treated at all, because what we see in a placebo group is not a placebo effect but mainly the spontaneous remission of the disease. The modest observed effect of antidepressants on anxiety can also be explained by unblinding bias because it is similar to that reported for depression.” Dr. My bipolar medication experience since restarting my mental health meds and a quick life update

08:25
🔴 Follow me on my mental health journey via my blog: http://lonniesmalley.com It's been a while since I've updated you guys on my mental health journey a.k.a. the battle against bipolar disorder and its stigma as well as my life in general. I thought I'd go ahead and do a short video talking mainly about my restarted fight against my mental illness and the medication my doctor from Bayless healthcare here in Phoenix, Arizona has prescribed me to help with my mental health. I know bipolar disorder is a lifelong disease and unfortunately, I will be stuck taking bipolar medication for the rest of my life. My experience though so far since restarting my medication has been pretty good so far. My current medication stack that my psychiatrist has prescribed for me to battle my bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, generalized anxiety disorder and sleeping issues are: 120 mg of Duloxetine DR a.k.a. Cymbalta used to treat my depression 150mg of Lamotrigine aka Lamictal my mood stabilizer 150mg of Bupropion XL usually referred to as Wellbutrin used to treat my bipolar 200mg of Quetiapine which is an antipsychotic better known as Seroquel 1 mg of Alprazolam which you probably know as Xanax as needed for my anxiety issues. I really try to avoid taking it though. And for my sleep 10 mg of Zolpidem commonly referred to by its name brand of Ambien 🔴 Subscribe and become friends: https://goo.gl/6PahPm These are some great YouTube tools if you're looking to get more views, subscribers or even just your message out there If you are a small time Youtuber or a member of the #smallyoutuberarmy 🔴TubeBuddy is a FREE browser extension that gets your videos more views and possibly even more subscribers on YouTube.
