Childbirth- 1st child after the age of 30 or having no children at all, makes women more prone and vulnerable. As far as the lifestyle is concerned, Obesity, diet, which is including more fatty acids, excessive use of alcohol, lack of physical activity, stress. As in this modern world, the stress is found generally in each and every strata of the society, thus it is very difficult to rule out. As far as the prevention is concerned, breast cancer risk factor can be controlled, that means the subject or individual do have control over some factors which can restrict the possibility of bringing this disease in. i.e. capacity can be controlled through regular exercises, and maintaining the healthy lifestyle, not having children beyond 30 as i said, could be planned accordingly. Breastfeeding in many societies- it has been observed that women are escaping their children from breastfeeding, and despite knowing this fact that the first milk of mother is very much important for the newborn, and if the newborn is not getting that, it may develop some diseases in the newborns. Therefore breastfeeding does not dis-shape your figures or your general outlook. So breast feeding exercise should not be avoided at any cost. Alcohol consumption as it is overall bad for health and it should be avoided. Regular exercises, hormone replacement therapy, these things can be controlled very well and it is under the hands of the subjects or individuals to keep this disease away. Screening for breast cancer A good self-awareness, monthly self-exams, clinical breast examinations and mammograms. Screening- these are the average sizes of Lumps can be found by women by self exercising their screens. As far as the self examination is concerned it gives a vast potential and opportunity for women to know about the disease at the very early stage of their examination. If this disease is found in the early stage then the precautionary and the procedural part can be taken at the early stage and the disease can be controlled early. These are the schedule for different age groups and different menstrual cycle running women that what to do and when to do the self examinations of breast. these are some basic exercises which can be articulated at home and doing a very simple exercise by standing in front of mirror. for eg. the number 1 says, lie down and put your left arm under your head, use your right hand to examine your left breast with your three model fingers flat, move gently in small circular motions over the entire breast checking for any lumps, hard knot or thickening. Use different level of suppression, light medium and firm over each area of your breast. Those diagnosed often notice few symptoms, and they feel fine when they’re blindsided with a diagnosis. Signs and symptoms of cancer can be very small and easy to miss. Recognizing these 10 signs that cancer maybe growing in your body can be vital to catching it early and saving your life. 1. A Lump Beneath the Skin Lumps in breast tissue are often discovered by those who regularly perform self-exams. Regularly performing self-exams and knowing what to look for can help you recognize when something has changed. Self-exams can be performed on other parts of the body as well, and can allow you to discover lumps before they develop into larger tumors. 2. Itchy Skin The body treats cancer as a bacteria. The immune system fights it by using white blood cells to attempt to destroy it. This increases blood flow in the area of cancerous growth, causing the area to feel warm, appear red, change color, feel tight or itch. 3. Wounds That Don’t Heal If you notice that a cut or another skin injury is taking a long time to heal, it could be a sign that cancer is growing in your body. Your immune system has to prioritize, and the cancer takes priority. A wound isn’t as important so it may take the body longer to heal that injury. 4. Bumps on the Mouth or Tongue Bumps that appear inside the mouth, gums or throat, especially if they are white in color, should be checked out by a health care professional. 5. Trouble Swallowing or Loss of Appetite If your digestive process is disrupted, you have trouble swallowing, or you suffer from indigestion or experience a loss of appetite, these issues should be checked out by a doctor, as they will affect the body’s ability to get nutrients from the food that you eat. 6. Changes in Bowel Movements Anything that appears out of the ordinary regarding bowel movements and lasts more than two days could be cause for concern. Finding blood in your stools could be a sign of colon cancer, and it should be evaluated by a medical professional. 7. Changes in Urination Bladder function should be fairly regular when you are healthy. Changes in the strength of urine flow, color, smell, presence of foam or blood should be checked out immediately. 8. Bleeding Bleeding that is unexplained should always be checked. Blood from the uterus, nipple or in any bodily excretions can be a major sign of a problem. 9. Changes in Voice Cancer of the larynx can cause the pitch and tone of your voice to change. If you notice your voice changing or someone else mentions it, make an appointment with a health care professional. 10. Constant Coughing Cancer of the lungs, esophagus, throat and even stomach can cause constant coughing. If you’ve had a persistent cough that is painful, or you find yourself coughing up blood, check in with a doctor. Coughing that lasts longer than 1-2 weeks may be much more than a cold. Of course, you don’t have to wait for warning signs to be on the lookout for cancer. It starts by eating right at a young age. Why Ovarian Cancer is no longer called the "silent killer"
The American Cancer Society estimates that in 2013, about 22,240 new cases of ovarian cancer will be diagnosed and 14,030 women will die of ovarian cancer in the United States. 1 in 72 women will develop ovarian cancer in her lifetime and studies show that a woman's risk is highest during her 60s and increases with age. A new study just released shows majority of women are not getting the proper treatment they need. With September being Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, Jamie Schmidt a 32-year old vi

Signs And Symptoms Of Ovarian Cancer In Females
If you want to know of the symptoms of ovarian cancer in females, you've come to the right place, keep watching! The human body suffers from many diseases. These diseases are caused by various factors, and most of these factors are either unpredictable or unstoppable. Since last 50 odd years, cancer is accepted as a deadly disease that registers its presence in the human body in various forms. The disease affects various parts of the body, and kills its victim in the end. Blood cancer and ovarian cancer are two of the most dangerous forms of cancer that occur to humans. Everyone can become a prey of blood cancer, whereas the women become the clear victim of ovarian cancer. The medical science accepts ovarian cancer as a 'silent killer', as it shows least or no symptoms in its initial stages. The symptoms of ovarian cancer in females are not very clear. As the name suggests, ovarian cancer affects the ovaries that are the most important parts of the female reproductive system. Since the number of victims is increasing very rapidly these days, you must know what the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer in females are. Have a look at the following to know more about some of the most prominent symptoms of ovarian cancer in females. 1. Pelvic/Abdominal Pain 80 out of 100 patients of ovarian cancer suffer from severe pain in the pelvic and/or in the abdominal areas, both lower and upper. The pain persists and that causes a serious trouble to the women suffering from ovarian cancer. 2. Trouble Eating or Feeling Full Quickly This is one of the most significant symptoms of ovarian cancer in females. Women often face a considerable amount of trouble while eating, and they feel full quickly, even if they have not taken the required quantity. It is indeed a big trouble, as they are often left inadequately fed. 3. Urinary Troubles It is not that a woman suffering from ovarian cancer also suffers from a urinary infection. However, they can show symptoms like frequent call for urine or a feeling of urgency. They often have the feeling of going to the lavatory a number of times. 4. Fatigue Like all cancer patients, women suffering from ovarian cancer also feel excessive fatigue. They complain about a terrible amount of problems regarding less or no energy to work. This tiredness occurs primarily due to the illness caused by ovarian cancer. 5. Upset Stomach Upset stomach is one of the most prominent symptoms of ovarian cancer in females. They often face changes in bowel movements. They fail to maintain a consistent time table when it comes to calls of the nature. 6. Back Pain Pain in the body is a significant symptom of all variants of cancer. The patients of ovarian cancer are not exceptions to this. They often complain of pain in the back of their body, especially in the lower back area of their body. 7. Pain During Sex Since the ovary is closely attached to the vagina, the patients of ovarian cancer are prevented from enjoying sex with their partners. They often face a terrible amount of pain while having an intercourse. 8. Constipation Improper movement of bowel often results in constipation, and that can leave some unpleasant pain in the patients. The medication is also not of very good results for them. Apart from these, suffering from abdominal swelling and changes in the menstrual cycle are also some of the other symptoms of ovarian cancer in females. If you have any of those symptoms, then you should never delay in consulting a doctor. #OvarianCancerInFemales #OvarianCancer #OvarianCancerSymptoms #OvarianCancerSigns #Ovarian #Cancer Video URL : https://youtu.be/1QAaCDIufkY

CANCER IN THE STOMACH DEVELOPS SILENTLY! THESE ARE THE FIRST SIGNS! IT'S IMPORTANT TO BE ATTENTIVE! Cancer in the stomach is a disease that develops slowly. Therefore, knowing how to recognize symptoms in advance is very important to ensure healing. Many people, even today, avoid mentioning the name of the disease, because it is one of the most dangerous and deadly. Despite the advances that have been made in the world in many areas, regarding cancer treatment, everything is still very uncertain. What actually increases the chances of cure is the diagnosis made prior to the development of the tumor. To help diagnose the evil, we have brought the main symptoms of cancer in the stomach. But before, it is important to know that cancer in the stomach is also known as gastric cancer, and it is the uncontrolled growth of cells in the stomach. The result is malignant tumors in the mucosal, muscular or serous area. One of the most common tumors is adenocarcinoma, which accounts for about 90% of all stomach cancer cases worldwide. GET TO KNOW THE MOST COMMON SYMPTOMS OF STOMACH CANCER NOW: -Bleeding -Vomiting and nausea -Unusual pains in the abdomen -Irregular intestinal activity -Fatigue -Anemia -Lack of appetite -Feeling of pain or heaviness in the abdomen even after consuming small amounts of food Note that they are very common signs and may even be mistaken for some virus. So it is very important to take exams to be sure. In fact, if the problem really is a consequence of tumors, the symptoms tend to get worse over time. Natural prevention The food should be as natural as possible. Stay away from sugar, meats, processed meats, alcohol and tobacco. Invest in the consumption of turmeric (turmeric). Studies show that curcumin, the main antioxidant of corcuma, inhibits the growth of many types of cancer, such as colon, prostate, ovary, breast and brain. It also inhibits angiogenesis (the formation of new blood vessels to feed the tumor). BUT HOW AND HOW OFTEN TO USE IT? Turmeric consumed alone or in the form of capsules is very ineffective because almost none of it is absorbed in the intestine. The secret, for turmeric to pass through the intestinal barrier, is to consume it with ginger or black pepper, reveals Dr. Carolyn Anderson. Especially the pepper, which increases the absorption of turmeric in the body by up to 2,000 percent. And it should also be dissolved in olive oil. If you like our video, please give us thumbs up and share this video with family and friends. Here’s a great suggestion: INGREDIENTS 1/4 teaspoon turmeric / turmeric 1/2 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil A generous pinch of black pepper METHOD OF PREPARATION Mix the three ingredients in a glass. The mixture can be consumed pure or can be added to salads, soups or whatever you want. It just can not heat it. And it should not be too late to consume it. In case you add it to a cooked dish, place it after cooking or do not overheat. The mixture should be consumed every day and several times.

Breast Density And Inflammation Tied To Increased Cancer Risk
Researchers at the University of Adelaide in Australia have found that chronic low-level inflammation causes increased breast density. In turn, higher breast density is linked to an increased risk of breast cancer. According to UPI, the findings could lead to new treatments for breast density, and the prevention of breast cancer by reducing inflammation. Roughly 8 percent of women have extremely high breast density and therefore, are at a higher risk of developing breast cancer. Associate Professor Wendy Ingman is the Hospital Research Foundation's Breast Cancer Research Fellow from the University of Adelaide and lead author of the study. She said in a press release, "While it is already known that certain types of anti-inflammatories such as aspirin can reduce breast cancer risk, they are associated with longer term side-effects and not recommended for women to help reduce their breast cancer risk." http://www.upi.com/Health_News/2017/01/24/Breast-density-research-making-strides-in-cancer-prevention/6821485269173/ http://www.wochit.com This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com

Inflammatory Breast Cancer: Know the symptoms | Dana-Farber/Brigham & Women's Cancer Center
Inflammatory Breast Cancer or I-B-C is one of the most aggressive forms of breast cancer, but most women have never heard about it. Doctors say the disease is a silent killer because unlike traditional cancer, patients don't recognize the symptoms. Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Patient Ellvera Nusum talks about being diagnosed with I-B-C and her oncologist, Dr. Beth Overmoyer, talks about why it's important to know the warning signs. For more information visit www.dana-farber.org/ibc.
Colon Cancer a Silent Killer
Colorectal cancer, it's sometimes called a silent killer. By the time a person starts feeling pain, the disease is usually in a late stage. "Colon cancer is the third commonest cancer diagnosed in this country and the second commonest killer of cancer of men and women in this country," says Dr. Nick Sharma, gastroenterologist on Lee Memorial Health System's medical staff. That statistic says two things. First: over a quarter million a year in this country are being diagnosed. And secondly: colorectal cancer is proving fatal in many cases, killing more people than breast cancer. When it could have been prevented through early screening. "Colon cancer arises out of colon polyps which are benign. When we screen, we're looking for colon polyps. And if we can remove colon polyps we can hopefully prevent colon cancer," says Dr. Sharma. The colonoscopy is a game-changer in this disease. In a single procedure, doctors can look into your colon with a camera that detect lesions then remove them for biopsy. All in under an hour. "We introduce the scope into your colon. It's a flexible scope that has channels, a light channel, a water channel, a suction channel, and a channel that allows us to introduce instruments through the colonoscope to remove these polyps," says Dr. Sharma. As we age, the risk of colon cancer doubles every decade, which is why a screenings are recommended beginning at age 50; earlier if you have a relative with the disease. "Family history puts you at a much higher risk category so you want to be screened at age 40," says Dr. Sharma. Some people report a change in bowel habits, sudden weight loss or anemia. These can be symptoms of colon cancer. So it's worth having a conversation with your doctor to rule out this silent killer. Breast Cancer without a Lump
It runs counter to what many women have come to expect in breast cancer. Inflammatory breast cancer, or IBC, is a rare form that presents without a lump. "Inflammatory Breast Cancer is a cancer that presents with a very swollen, hot, tender breast. And usually what happens is the patients will go to their primary care physician, they'll be treated for an infection, the antibiotics will be given but they'll still have a hot, inflamed breast," says Dr. Lea Blackwell, breast surgical oncologist on Lee Memorial Health System's medical staff. It's an extremely aggressive disease. The heat, redness and swelling results from its rapid development. "The cancer cells block the lymphatic system of the breast and so it can't drain and it has all this extra fluid in it and it has this inflammatory reaction," says Dr. Blackwell. IBC is usually picked up in late stages. In 35-40% of patients, the disease had spread to other organs before they were diagnosed. It helps if women and their doctors are familiar with the warning signs. "Absolutely. If the patient has a hot, swollen breast that looks like they have an infection and you treat it with antibiotics for at least two weeks, and it's the same or worse, then that patients needs to be evaluated for possibility of Inflammatory Breast Cancer," says Dr. Blackwell. If a diagnosis is made, patients go into aggressive, multi-modality treatment. "First the patient goes through treatment of chemotherapy, then they have a mastectomy and then they'll need radiation after the mastectomy," says Dr. Blackwell. The five year survival rate for IBC is 40% compared to 87% for invasive ductal breast cancer. "The things to look for are a breast dramatically growing in size probably, about twice the size of the other breast. Then typically it has this look to it called podorange which is an orange peel skin change because of all the swelling in the skin," says Dr. Blackwell. Because IBC flies under the radar it is critical to see a breast specialist right away if you have any concerns. I Have A Rare Breast Cancer
Personal thoughts on Stage 4 Inflammatory Breast Cancer.
Health focus: Ovarian cancer, a silent killer
Ovarian cancer is a common cause of cancer death among women. Statistics from the national referral hospital in Mulago show that over 30 percent of ovarian cancer patients die within 5 years from the date of diagnosis. The cancerous growth occurs in different parts of the ovary but not much is known about it. Stand up against cancer - Joshua Jerry (Official Spoken Word Video)
Joshua Jerry - Stand Up Against Cancer Description Cancer has become a number one silent killer dragon, most people live with cancer unknowingly until the late stages of Cancer when treating it becomes almost an impossible task, I'm saying this out of a true life story of someone who meant the world to me , Jerry Okungu would have not succumbed to cancer had he gone for earlier prostate cancer screening but he still gave a good fight against cancer and that's why I'm inspired to continue with the fight against cancer, this is not my own battle, this is our battle because cancer doesn't discriminate on your age, race or social status, the time has come that we need to stand together against cancer, the first step starts with acknowledging the threat of Cancer, creating awareness then having continuous cancer screening, my sincere plea to all governments and non governmental bodies is that; let's all join hands to build well equipped cancer treatment centers and hospitals, let's support the cancer patients as treatment of Cancer is very costly financially, we may have cancer but let cancer not have us, together we can win this battle, stand up against cancer! Can Inflammatory Breast Cancer present as bruises? - Dr. Somashekhar S.P
There is one special type of breast cancer called as the inflammatory breast cancer, which usually happens in young ladies, in lactation, in pregnancy, where we think it is an infection, but not a cancer. There is a red patch, we ignore it and allow it to go to very advanced stage. That’s why we say, any painless lump, red rash during lactation or pregnancy, please show it to your doctor and get it treated. So yes, all rashes and skin patch are not inflammatory especially if there is no fever, no pain and if there is a skin thickening and a lump and a red patch, it could be the first sign of the inflammatory breast cancer. They would need a biopsy, please report to your doctor as it is curable. This is a very important orientation that a lady during lactation and pregnancy must know. So know your breast better than anybody. So please notice this and bring to the notice of the treating physician.
