How to Make Simple Bar Stools | 2x4 Bar Stool
How to make super simple patio bar stools out of 2x4 lumber. These stools are great for an outdoor patio and can easily be built by any Do It Yourselfer. A total of four 2x4's are all you'll need for wood to complete each chair. Cedar is used for this project. Plans for the Concrete Bar Top and Cedar Bar Base are also available. For more info, project photos, and downloadable plans check out: http://www.DIYPETE.com/BarStool Use a miter saw, circular saw, or hand saw to cut the lumber for the bar stool. Drill pocket holes in all of the boards except the legs and seat boards. Use a Kreg Jig and set it to the 1 1/2 inch setting on both the jig and the stop collar on the bit. Use 2 1/2 inch Kreg Screws to attach the front and rear sections of the chair. I’d recommend using wood glue as well. Next attach the four side boards. This will connect the front ladder to the rear ladder. Use a clamp to hold the boards together if needed. I have a set of JackClamps that I use for most projects. Use 2 1/2 inch kreg screws to attach the two 15 inch seat supports. Once complete, attach the seat boards to the supports from the underside using 2 1/2 inch wood screws. Prior to attaching the seat boards you can lay them out evenly on the top side and glue into place. Let the glue dry and then flip it upside down to attach the boards with the 2 1/2 inch screws. This will make it easy to space out the boards. Plus, you won’t have screw holes showing from the top side. Protect and make your new bar stools shine by brushing on a couple coats of Helmsman Spar Urethane from Minwax. If you’d prefer another color or added protection I’d recommend using a deck or fence stain. ---- Looking for more DIY videos? Be sure to check out our channel and subscribe for updates! Old West Town Built in Backyard - COOLEST THING I'VE EVER MADE: EP11
An amazing backyard western village. Former teacher, Kenneth White spent over 5 years building a replica wild west village from the 1880's right in his backyard. White built everything from scratch including a saloon, a church with beautiful stained glass windows and an old-fashioned western jail complete with a prisoner in the bed. Ever the great teacher, Kenneth used his western village to teach kids about life in the old days. Sadly Kenneth passed away in 2016 and we dedicate this episode to his memory.

I’d recommend using a miter saw. Remove hardware from the cooler. Assemble the legs. I used a Kreg Jig to drill 4 pocket holes in one board for each leg. Then connect using wood glue and 2 1/2 inch Kreg screws. Assemble the frame for the cooler out of 2×4 boards. Connect each 2×4 with 2 1/2 inch screws. You can make it as snug as you’d like. I left about a half inch of play on each side to make it easy to remove the cooler if needed. Use the cooler as a template or measure the cooler to determine how long to cut these boards. Attach the 4 corners to the top frame. Use 2 1/2 inch wood screws and put about 4 for each corner. Drill a pilot hole before putting the screws in so the wood doesn’t split. Add the apron. Rip fence boards on a table saw and then glue and nail them to the top as shown in the photo. This will create about a half inch overhang on each side. I cut the apron to 3 1/2 inches wide. Create the cooler support out of 2×4’s Place the frame upside down on a flat surface and slide the cooler in place. Next, put the support at the base of the cooler and attach to the legs using screws and pocket holes. If you don’t have a kreg jig, you could pre-drill and then run screws in at an angle. Add fence pickets around all sides to hide the cooler. I started by attaching a board in the middle of the sections and then moved to the left and right. Use as many full width fence boards as you can. Rip the outer boards on a table saw to get a perfect fit. I’d recommend spacing the boards roughly 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch from each other. Add trim horizontally on each side. Rip fence boards into 2 inch strips and then glue and nail the trim in place. Place the cooler in the frame and then mark where the hole will go through the side of the wood surround. Then drill a small hole through the wood from the inside. Next, use a larger bit or hole saw from the outside to finish the full sized hole. This is where the piping will go through. Determine the height and width of your cooler lid. Mine was a little less than 2 inches high and so I ripped a couple 2×4 boards to make them 2 inches tall. Then place the boards around the perimeter and cut to size. The lid should be snug with the wood. Attach the plastic cooler lid to the wood using 2 inch screws. Pre-drill and then put in the screw. Make sure the outer part of the lid is flush with the wood. The inner part will protrude from the wood because it is what will allow the cooler to stay in place when the lid goes down. The inner portion will seal the cooler. Cut 4 fence boards down to size and rip them each to the same width on the table saw. Leave about an 1/8 of an inch between each. Use glue and an air nailer to keep them in place. ---- Looking for more DIY videos? Be sure to check out our channel and subscribe for updates! We post a weekly tutorial every Thursday. Home Bar Design Ideas - Quick Home Bar Design Ideas
Home bars have been an important part of American homes for many years. They range from country western themes to island retreats and include everything from neon signs to exquisite works of art. Home bars are intended to be a place for entertainment and relaxation. They should be warm, inviting, and fun. One of the easiest ways to build a unique home bar is to purchase home bar plans. Thanks to the ease of the Internet, you can purchase home bar design plans from a website and instantly download them to your computer. These types of plans provide step-by-step directions and provide you with a list of construction materials. If you are not interested in building a home bar, you can easily find one to purchase. There are several varieties of home bars. They include the straight wet bar, L-shaped wet bar, kegger bar, bar back, and portable party bar. Most home bars have cabinets, storage areas and adjustable shelves for liquor bottles and glasses. Generally, bar tops have high-pressure surfaces that are waterproof and heat resistant. Some have built-in sinks and refrigerator systems to keep kegs or drinks cold. You will need bar stools to accompany your home bar. They are usually about 30-inches in height and constructed from a variety of materials including wood, leather, vinyl and chrome. Some bar stools have sports logos screen printed on the seat or carved into wood. Others have high backs with padding on the seat and mid-back area. Bar stools can be custom designed to suit your individual needs. Oftentimes, you can find great deals on bar stools at restaurant auctions or by visiting government surplus websites. You will find an abundance of accessories to decorate your home bar. One of the most common design elements of a home bar is the neon sign. Today, neon signs are very affordable and come in a variety of designs and colors. You can even buy customized neon signs and further personalize your home bar. Other signs that you might want to include in your home bar design include football, basketball, racing and other sport signs; liquor signs; and novelty signs. You will need cocktail glasses, martini shaker and strainer, shot glasses, mixers, bar tools and a blender to complete your home bar design. You can get great deals on bar accessories at restaurant supply stores. Also check the classified section of your local paper for auctions of restaurant equipment. How to Build a Rustic Cooler -- by Home Repair Tutor
http://www.homerepairtutor.com/how-to-build-a-rustic-cooler/ (who doesn't love a rusting cooler, they're sweet!!) Wanna learn how to build a rustic cooler from FREE pallets? I was able to do this with only one saw and a drill & impact driver. Hi Friend, this is Jeff from Home Repair Tutor and you'll love this way awesome rustic cooler project. Primarily because it's so darn easy. You can expect to spend about a day and a half on this project but in the end you'll have a great result. It all starts with about 5-8 pallets. You can visit a local landscape supply company and ask them if they don't mind parting with a few old pallets. Chances are high they'll say yes and show you which ones to take. Get the pallets home and either scrub or power wash them. This makes the wood look great and allows you to choose the slats that appear the best. I used the Dremel Ultra Saw to cut all the slats to size and assemble the rustic cooler frame. Then I used a 50 qt Igloo cooler that was sitting my garage collecting dust. You'll have to make a frame for the cooler lid and add some accessories (like a battle cap opener and brass drain). But I show you how to do all this in the video. For all the details watch my video http://youtu.be/bvxmZPy21Jo If you think this video would help a friend feel free to share it http://youtu.be/bvxmZPy21Jo For tips on home repair & improvement make sure you check out more Home Repair Tutor videos on YouTube. Making A Five-Bar Gate With The Homemade Chainsaw Mortiser
This is the first thing we made with the mortiser. You can see the how it was made in this video www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2CGslzGdB4 It could certainly be improved but it did work quite well as it is. It’s a bit low, so there’s too much leaning over, and if there was suddenly lots of jobs for it, then it would be worth making some way to move the stock timber along without clamping/unclamping it. I sharpened the chain again and there was less tear-out than in the trial piece. The timber used for this gate is only cheap white deal (spruce) because that’s all we had around – and also because I didn’t know whether I’d be wasting good wood if I couldn’t make accurate enough slots. Next time I’ll try to get some larch or Douglas Fir. Some people bolt their gates together, but they will sag unless the bolts are really tight. I used nails because they’re cheap. The gate posts were already there – made of steel, so I had to weld up some hinges to fit both the gate and the post. All in all, a gate is quite a bit of work, but it’s a really satisfying thing to make and the mortiser saved hours of work. (I made 7 farm gates when I was a teenager for my parents – it was my first paid commission. I still remember how tedious and slow and exhausting the process was because everything was done by hand – drilling with a brace and bit, chiselling out the mortises, sawing down boards with a handsaw, the whole lot. This gate was MUCH quicker!) Thanks to Madeline, Lisa, and Bernd - they were around when it was time to creosote and hang the gate, so of course they got roped in. What are my options for replacing all teeth with dental implants?
http://www.periodonticsimplants.com.au -- What are my options for replacing all teeth with dental implants? - Periodontics & Dental Implants Perth, WA Should you need all of your teeth replaced by some prosthesis, those false teeth would be on a normal denture which you take in and out. The advantage of the denture is that it's only about $1,500 to $2,000. Its disadvantage is that in the bottom jaw the bone tends to shrink quite quickly, so that a lot of people have trouble eating with the bottom denture - it's clacking around, they fall out when they're laughing, they can't eat apples. If you have those problems or should you wish something alternative, two implants in the bottom jaw is a highly predictable procedure for retaining a denture. So if your concern is that your teeth are moving around everywhere and are loose, then two implants can allow quite a firm grip of the implant, so you won't need any denture glue. In contrast, if your concern is that every time you bite on foods your gums are sore, that you've got so much recession and shrinkage of the bone and gum that there's no support given to the gums, you may actually need something more in the form of a fully fixed prosthesis. This is four implants permanently retaining an acrylic bridge. The number of implants is really dependent on your situation. Whether it's four or six in the top jaw does depend on how many teeth you want placed back there and what's on the lower arch. If you've got natural teeth down here that's going to put more load on these top teeth, so you're probably heading towards six implants on the top jaw. If in contrast you have a denture down the bottom that's chewing on this, they're not going to give as much force against this appliance up the top, so we may decide that four implants are sufficient to hold that sort of prosthesis. Other people that are really abhorrent about the whole idea of ever socially having to remove teeth really would go for a fixed prosthesis and that may be in the form of more implants. So a number of factors are considered when you're planning the full arch to be replaced by teeth that are held onto implants. Primarily, what are your concerns that we're trying to address and how much benefit is this acrylic flange giving to your cosmetic profile with the plumpness of the lip? So you really need a consultation in combination with CAT scans to determine have you got enough bone in the right areas. For more information on dental implants visit www.periodonticsimplants.com.au

Top 10 domestic news stories of Korea in 2015
2015년 10대 국내 사회뉴스 Unless you're an avid follower of Korean news, you're probably not so familiar with the stories that made news here last year. No need to worry. Lee Soo-eun has sifted through the headlines to find the year's ten biggest stories. "Right out of the gate, on January 1st, a new cigarette tax went into effect, raising prices up by two-thousand won a pack. Later that month, an 18-year-old Korean teenager with the surname Kim left Korea to join ISIS. On February 11th, there was a 106-car pileup on a foggy bridge... leaving two people dead and 65 injured. In the same month, the Constitutional Court ruled that having an affair is no longer a crime in Korea." Since 1953, adultery had been a punishable criminal offense with a maximum sentence of two years in jail. But on February 26th, 2015, the Constitutional Court ruled the adultery law was against the constitution as it 'violates a citizen's basic rights.' But that doesn't mean there's no longer a penalty for adultery. "The spectrum of acceptable evidence has widened to include more indirect evidence, like records of text messages, phone calls, photo attachments and credit card bills." "The next big story, on March 5th, was the attack on U.S. Ambassador to Korea Mark Lippert. The ambassador had cuts to his hand and face but the injuries were not life-threatening. In April, businessman Sung Woan-jong committed suicide, leaving a memo in his pocket listing eight high-profile politicians who he argued had accepted bribes from him. That same month, lawmakers passed a bill making security cameras mandatory at daycare centers... after several reports of child abuse at local centers. Next on the list is the outbreak of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome,... or MERS." It all began when a businessman came back to Korea after a trip to the Middle East. He was infected with the deadly virus... and health authorities didn't catch it. The result? 186 people contracted the virus and 38 died. MERS also revealed a hole in Korea's quarantine network... and raised discussion about the Korean custom of having family or hired caregivers in hospital rooms to look after patients. "In Korea, six-person hospital rooms are the norm and the patient beds are very close to each other. On top of that, caregivers who don't have professional knowledge of infections move among the beds all day, during which time they also go out and interact with others. Infection control is fundamentally impossible in this environment." The Korean government formally declared an end to the MERS outbreak on December 23rd, though there are still two people with MERS who are in the hospital in stable condition. "On November 14th, tens of thousands of protesters came out to central Seoul to rally against the government's labor reform plans and its plan to re-take control of history textbook publishing. On December 3rd,... the Justice Ministry announced its plan to replace the existing bar exam system that began in the 1970s with a new Western-style law school system... would be put off until 2021." The move drew strong objections from people who want the bar exam system kept. "Only people with undergraduate degrees can go there AND the tuition is very high, at around 17-thousand U.S. dollars a year." But for a long time, the old bar exam system had been criticized for fostering exclusivity among an elite group. "And there you have it, the top 10 domestic news stories of 2015." Outdoor Kitchen Building Essentials & Designs to Consider | BBQGuys.com
Wondering where to start with the build of your outdoor kitchen? In this video, we discuss the essentials & some additional appliances you may want to consider when in the planning stages. Browse our full line of Outdoor Kitchen Equipment here: https://www.bbqguys.com/bbq-learning-center/planning/outdoor-kitchen-checklists Most Popular Outdoor Kitchen Package: Along with a built in gas grill, the most popular items customers are building into their outdoor kitchens are access doors, followed by a side burner, a refrigerator and a trash bin. Access doors are a must for access to gas plumbing connections. Some customers add a door/drawer combo under the grill instead of access doors to gain some enclosed storage drawers for their utensils, gloves, cleaning supplies, etc. A side burner is great for sauteeing veggies, heating your baked beans or really anything that you might normally use your indoor stove for. A refrigerator is super convenient to have by your grill to keep you from running back in the house to get another beer or cold beverage, or the mayo/mustard. Finally, a roll out or tilt out trash bin keeps your trash can handy when you need it and then roll it back inside the island to keep the flies away. Island vent panels are a necessary safety requirement, and should be considered part of the basic package. More Outdoor Refrigeration: Outdoor ice makers, wine coolers, kegerators, and beverage centers are great additions to your outdoor kitchen, especially if you entertain. Your guests will love having ice cold beverages, including fresh beer on tap, during the party. Adding one of these components to your outdoor kitchen takes the hassle out of running back and forth inside while entertaining. Expand Your Outdoor Cooking Options: Do you love having that smokey flavor on your food, or making pizzas from scratch? Don't limit yourself to an outdoor kitchen with just a gas grill as your only cooking appliance. A flat top griddle is an excellent addition for cooking breakfast or hibachi style meals. Add a pizza oven for family pizza night which is an absolute hit with the kids! You may prefer to install a charcoal grill or kamado for that old school charcoal flavor. Add a kamado or a smoker for that low temp, slow cooked flavor of smoked ribs, brisket or holiday turkey. Sinks, Faucets & Ice Bins: Installing an outdoor sink allows you the convenience of easy prep and clean up before and after you grill, without having to go back inside the house. Add a drop-in ice bin or an ice chest storage drawer to keep your beverages on ice. Maybe add a beverage/bar center for a more multi-functional sink/ice bin option. How To Build a Saddle Pad Rack for Your Tack Room
I have always wanted to have a dedicated wall rack to hold all of my saddle pads, so I decided to build one, and I am so happy with the results! It was pretty simple to build, and the total cost to make this was about $18.00, not too bad for a custom made wall rack to hold about 15 different saddle pads! The rack I made is for English saddle pads, but if you wanted to hold heavier and longer western saddle pads, you can, you will just need to make the 2 x 2's longer to accommodate the longer pad. To build this saddle pad rack you will need: 1" x 4" x 48" long piece of wood 2" x 2" x 24" long pieces of wood (I have used 5 pieces on this rack) 3" decking screws Wood glue, or gorilla glue Spray Paint To begin, cut the wood pieces the length you need them to be. Then sand everything really smooth. The smoother it is, the better your finished product will be, and the smooth wood will prevent your saddle pads from picking up splinters, or snagging. Once the wood is cut and sanded, measure on the 1 x 4 how far apart you want your saddle pads to set. I measured mine about 10". This allows me to stack multiple pads, but you could put the rungs closer together if you only want to put one pad on each rung. After you have measured off where you will put the rungs for the pads, drill holes in the center of your markings. Also pre-drill, or start the screws in the center of each 2x2, it makes it easier to connect the rungs to the backing board. Now you will want to secure the 1 x 4 to your table, so when you attach the 2x2 it will be stable. This is really important once you get to about the third rung, as you can see in my video, it gets a little top heavy! After you have all of the rungs attached, allow them to dry, and then put in an extra screw into the back of each rung. This will make it stronger. Go slow so your wood does not split, otherwise you will have to start all over. Now you get to paint (or stain) your saddle pad rack. I chose to use high gloss black paint, to match my bridle rack, which you can watch me make here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zkgurzQ-w80 Doing the spray paint is simple, and fast, but staining the rack would be really nice too. Once your saddle pad rack has dried, you can hang it up, and use it! A very simple and inexpensive saddle pad rack you can make yourself to customize your tack room, and keep your saddle pads dry and organized in your tack room. Pattaya Second Road Walkaround Bars Thai Food Street Food Pattaya Thailand
Vlog # 26 Pattaya Walkaround 27.11.15 Woke up that day and had no real plans. So decided to just have a walk around in general and follow my nose. I started at Soi 13 at my Hotel the Inn House then went down to just past Soi 13/2 and quickly checked out the Ruin Thai restaurant. I had seen this online and thought I would take a look. Looked ok to me and that evening I went there for a meal which was very nice. So after that I carried on along Second Road. I passed the usual café’s bars, shops and the usual sights you see in Thailand. All walks of life from the very poor to well off “farangs” such as myself. (farang for those who don’t know is a slang term given to western tourists by the Thai people) I also passed Mathilda Restaurant. I have eaten there a few times and enjoy the food they serve. So Went all the way up to Central Pattaya Road and turned right ending up at the Big C Extra supermarket. I popped in for a look around and to cool off. While there I enjoyed a really nice ice cold smoothie. After that I came out and had a slow walk back again. Top 10 domestic news stories of Korea in 2015
2015년 10대 국내 사회뉴스 Here at Arirang TV, we have the privilege of covering a wide range of domestic news: From the ruling that adultery is no longer a crime, to the bribery list that rocked the political arena and the MERS outbreak, there's never a lack of interesting stories. Lee Soo-eun takes us through ten of the year's biggest. But on February 26th, 2015, the Constitutional Court ruled the adultery law was against the constitution as it 'violates a citizen's basic rights.' "The next big story, on March 5th, was the attack on U.S. The Korean government formally declared an end to the MERS outbreak on December 23rd, though there are still two people with MERS who are in the hospital in stable condition. But for a long time, the old bar exam system had been criticized for fostering exclusivity among an elite group. "And there you have it, the top 10 domestic news stories of 2015." Last video I extended each steel post by welding on an extension, then demoing the old fence, and installing the stringers. This week I start by adding a cedar top cap then install board on board pickets on all three sides. I end the video by adding trim to the outside of the fence to give it a clean finished look. Stay tuned for part three where I build cedar boxes to hide the steel posts, add trim to pretty the boxes up, as well as build a gate for the fence.

Zac Efron Workout and Diet Plan (BAYWATCH!!)
Build ripped muscle like Zac with this program… http://athleanx.com/x/built-like-zac-year-round Zac Efron’s workout and diet plan are making waves this Summer because of his incredible physique transformation preparing for Baywatch. Along side the Rock, Zac holds his own, having carved out a chiseled body by focusing on 7 key elements of his training and nutrition. Recently, Men’s Fitness magazine published a story about the gains Efron made to get ready for his Summer comedy role. In this video, I am breaking down the most important aspects of his diet plan and workouts to help you to start getting better results from your workouts heading into Summer. I’m also going to take a look back at a former “most wanted” celebrity body (that of Taylor Lautner) to see what went wrong and prevented his gains from being permanent. First and foremost, it is worth noting that neither Zac Efron or Taylor Lautner are heavyweights. Both stand just 5 foot 10 inches tall and weigh no more than 170 pounds. To make his transformation for Baywatch, Efron gained just 10 pounds of lean muscle. The thing is, when you minimize your body fat levels and maximize the amount of muscle your body can naturally carry…you look much bigger than you are. Both of these guys have mastered this. That said, you can’t expect to look better without being willing to put in some hard work along the way. Zac did just this by adopting more heavy weight training into his workout routine. He stated that he never had lifted very heavy or explosive before preparing for this film. A lot of people actually find themselves in a similar position either because they are uncomfortable lifting heavy or just don’t have the base strength to be able to do it. By increasing his strength levels on the basic compound lifts, Efron was able to start adding to his muscle density and thickness. Next he followed a push, pull, legs training split. This workout sequence allows you to train your body more athletically since you train movements instead of individual muscles. The back and biceps are responsible for all lifts in which you pull the weight towards you or pull your body towards a fixed bar. It’s impossible to isolate their actions so it helps to train them together to allow you more recovery time between workouts. Daily ab training is another key to having the resting tone needed to showcase your abs year round (provided your diet and nutrition are in check). Zac Efron’s diet is also covered here as well. By including a cheat day once in awhile, he is able to maintain his sanity and consistency required to keep his body fat levels low year round. For a complete workout and nutrition plan to build athletic, ripped muscle like Zac Efron head to http://athleanx.com and get the ATHLEAN-X Training System. Barn Home Design Ideas
Bar is the hub for many people to come and relax on the weekends. Everyone wants to enter it that welcomes them and makes them feel comfortable. Young people are very selective of which bar they go to, they often look out for the nicest one with great interior designs and great ambience. This is one important reason for the interior designers to furbish their ideas and create a beautiful place that has mix of beauty with the charm and the warmness. Bar has to bring an ebullient attitude to the interiors; this work can only be done by professional interior designers who have expertise in this area. Process of designing Bar interior designers have to organize a plan like any other process, they are responsible in meeting with the owner to decide on what color, what material is needed to polish the entire place. The interior designers then sit with their team members and discuss the plan that is being passed by the owner of the Bar. The interior designing process can take a long time depending on the expectations of the owner. The interior designers some times go through stress of organizing the whole process of designing, because designing a bar takes lot of concentration and dedication in giving the customer or the client what they want. Bars interior designing usually can really be stressful, it is very demanding, especially because interior designing is the most important aspect . The interior designers are perfectionist modelers when it comes to designing and modeling the bar. Interior designing process itself takes many days before the interior designers finalize the entire project. Bar designing ideas There are many interior designers that go through millions of ideas before refurbishing their ideas and centralizing them to one concept. These ideas usually depend on whether it is going to be built as a home bar. With home bars there are many varieties as kegger bar, bar back, portable party bar, L-shaped wet bar and the straight wet bar. Most times the home built bars have storage areas, adjustable shelves of glasses and liquor bottles and cabinets. The interior designers are specific on the designs, usually bar tops are made of high pressure surfaces that are heat resistant and water proof. Some of them also have refrigerator systems and built in sinks to keep the drinks and kegs cold. Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/2248002
