How to Make Simple Bar Stools | 2x4 Bar Stool

08:56
How to make super simple patio bar stools out of 2x4 lumber. These stools are great for an outdoor patio and can easily be built by any Do It Yourselfer. A total of four 2x4's are all you'll need for wood to complete each chair. Cedar is used for this project. Plans for the Concrete Bar Top and Cedar Bar Base are also available. For more info, project photos, and downloadable plans check out: http://www.DIYPETE.com/BarStool Use a miter saw, circular saw, or hand saw to cut the lumber for the bar stool. Drill pocket holes in all of the boards except the legs and seat boards. Use a Kreg Jig and set it to the 1 1/2 inch setting on both the jig and the stop collar on the bit. Use 2 1/2 inch Kreg Screws to attach the front and rear sections of the chair. I’d recommend using wood glue as well. Next attach the four side boards. This will connect the front ladder to the rear ladder. Use a clamp to hold the boards together if needed. I have a set of JackClamps that I use for most projects. Use 2 1/2 inch kreg screws to attach the two 15 inch seat supports. Once complete, attach the seat boards to the supports from the underside using 2 1/2 inch wood screws. Prior to attaching the seat boards you can lay them out evenly on the top side and glue into place. Let the glue dry and then flip it upside down to attach the boards with the 2 1/2 inch screws. This will make it easy to space out the boards. Plus, you won’t have screw holes showing from the top side. Protect and make your new bar stools shine by brushing on a couple coats of Helmsman Spar Urethane from Minwax. If you’d prefer another color or added protection I’d recommend using a deck or fence stain. ---- Looking for more DIY videos? Be sure to check out our channel and subscribe for updates! I’d recommend using a miter saw. Remove hardware from the cooler. Assemble the legs. I used a Kreg Jig to drill 4 pocket holes in one board for each leg. Then connect using wood glue and 2 1/2 inch Kreg screws. Assemble the frame for the cooler out of 2×4 boards. Connect each 2×4 with 2 1/2 inch screws. You can make it as snug as you’d like. I left about a half inch of play on each side to make it easy to remove the cooler if needed. Use the cooler as a template or measure the cooler to determine how long to cut these boards. Attach the 4 corners to the top frame. Use 2 1/2 inch wood screws and put about 4 for each corner. Drill a pilot hole before putting the screws in so the wood doesn’t split. Add the apron. Rip fence boards on a table saw and then glue and nail them to the top as shown in the photo. This will create about a half inch overhang on each side. I cut the apron to 3 1/2 inches wide. Create the cooler support out of 2×4’s Place the frame upside down on a flat surface and slide the cooler in place. Next, put the support at the base of the cooler and attach to the legs using screws and pocket holes. If you don’t have a kreg jig, you could pre-drill and then run screws in at an angle. Add fence pickets around all sides to hide the cooler. I started by attaching a board in the middle of the sections and then moved to the left and right. Use as many full width fence boards as you can. Rip the outer boards on a table saw to get a perfect fit. I’d recommend spacing the boards roughly 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch from each other. Add trim horizontally on each side. Rip fence boards into 2 inch strips and then glue and nail the trim in place. Place the cooler in the frame and then mark where the hole will go through the side of the wood surround. Then drill a small hole through the wood from the inside. Next, use a larger bit or hole saw from the outside to finish the full sized hole. This is where the piping will go through. Determine the height and width of your cooler lid. Mine was a little less than 2 inches high and so I ripped a couple 2×4 boards to make them 2 inches tall. Then place the boards around the perimeter and cut to size. The lid should be snug with the wood. Attach the plastic cooler lid to the wood using 2 inch screws. Pre-drill and then put in the screw. Make sure the outer part of the lid is flush with the wood. The inner part will protrude from the wood because it is what will allow the cooler to stay in place when the lid goes down. The inner portion will seal the cooler. Cut 4 fence boards down to size and rip them each to the same width on the table saw. Leave about an 1/8 of an inch between each. Use glue and an air nailer to keep them in place. ---- Looking for more DIY videos? Be sure to check out our channel and subscribe for updates! We post a weekly tutorial every Thursday. How to Build a Rustic Cooler -- by Home Repair Tutor

08:19
http://www.homerepairtutor.com/how-to-build-a-rustic-cooler/ (who doesn't love a rusting cooler, they're sweet!!) Wanna learn how to build a rustic cooler from FREE pallets? I was able to do this with only one saw and a drill & impact driver. Hi Friend, this is Jeff from Home Repair Tutor and you'll love this way awesome rustic cooler project. Primarily because it's so darn easy. You can expect to spend about a day and a half on this project but in the end you'll have a great result. It all starts with about 5-8 pallets. You can visit a local landscape supply company and ask them if they don't mind parting with a few old pallets. Chances are high they'll say yes and show you which ones to take. Get the pallets home and either scrub or power wash them. This makes the wood look great and allows you to choose the slats that appear the best. I used the Dremel Ultra Saw to cut all the slats to size and assemble the rustic cooler frame. Then I used a 50 qt Igloo cooler that was sitting my garage collecting dust. You'll have to make a frame for the cooler lid and add some accessories (like a battle cap opener and brass drain). But I show you how to do all this in the video. For all the details watch my video http://youtu.be/bvxmZPy21Jo If you think this video would help a friend feel free to share it http://youtu.be/bvxmZPy21Jo For tips on home repair & improvement make sure you check out more Home Repair Tutor videos on YouTube. Home Bar Design Ideas - Quick Home Bar Design Ideas

02:31
Home bars have been an important part of American homes for many years. They range from country western themes to island retreats and include everything from neon signs to exquisite works of art. Home bars are intended to be a place for entertainment and relaxation. They should be warm, inviting, and fun. One of the easiest ways to build a unique home bar is to purchase home bar plans. Thanks to the ease of the Internet, you can purchase home bar design plans from a website and instantly download them to your computer. These types of plans provide step-by-step directions and provide you with a list of construction materials. If you are not interested in building a home bar, you can easily find one to purchase. There are several varieties of home bars. They include the straight wet bar, L-shaped wet bar, kegger bar, bar back, and portable party bar. Most home bars have cabinets, storage areas and adjustable shelves for liquor bottles and glasses. Generally, bar tops have high-pressure surfaces that are waterproof and heat resistant. Some have built-in sinks and refrigerator systems to keep kegs or drinks cold. You will need bar stools to accompany your home bar. They are usually about 30-inches in height and constructed from a variety of materials including wood, leather, vinyl and chrome. Some bar stools have sports logos screen printed on the seat or carved into wood. Others have high backs with padding on the seat and mid-back area. Bar stools can be custom designed to suit your individual needs. Oftentimes, you can find great deals on bar stools at restaurant auctions or by visiting government surplus websites. You will find an abundance of accessories to decorate your home bar. One of the most common design elements of a home bar is the neon sign. Today, neon signs are very affordable and come in a variety of designs and colors. You can even buy customized neon signs and further personalize your home bar. Other signs that you might want to include in your home bar design include football, basketball, racing and other sport signs; liquor signs; and novelty signs. You will need cocktail glasses, martini shaker and strainer, shot glasses, mixers, bar tools and a blender to complete your home bar design. You can get great deals on bar accessories at restaurant supply stores. Also check the classified section of your local paper for auctions of restaurant equipment. Outdoor Kitchen Building Essentials & Designs to Consider | BBQGuys.com

05:44
Wondering where to start with the build of your outdoor kitchen? In this video, we discuss the essentials & some additional appliances you may want to consider when in the planning stages. Browse our full line of Outdoor Kitchen Equipment here: https://www.bbqguys.com/bbq-learning-center/planning/outdoor-kitchen-checklists Most Popular Outdoor Kitchen Package: Along with a built in gas grill, the most popular items customers are building into their outdoor kitchens are access doors, followed by a side burner, a refrigerator and a trash bin. Access doors are a must for access to gas plumbing connections. Some customers add a door/drawer combo under the grill instead of access doors to gain some enclosed storage drawers for their utensils, gloves, cleaning supplies, etc. A side burner is great for sauteeing veggies, heating your baked beans or really anything that you might normally use your indoor stove for. A refrigerator is super convenient to have by your grill to keep you from running back in the house to get another beer or cold beverage, or the mayo/mustard. Finally, a roll out or tilt out trash bin keeps your trash can handy when you need it and then roll it back inside the island to keep the flies away. Island vent panels are a necessary safety requirement, and should be considered part of the basic package. More Outdoor Refrigeration: Outdoor ice makers, wine coolers, kegerators, and beverage centers are great additions to your outdoor kitchen, especially if you entertain. Your guests will love having ice cold beverages, including fresh beer on tap, during the party. Adding one of these components to your outdoor kitchen takes the hassle out of running back and forth inside while entertaining. Expand Your Outdoor Cooking Options: Do you love having that smokey flavor on your food, or making pizzas from scratch? Don't limit yourself to an outdoor kitchen with just a gas grill as your only cooking appliance. A flat top griddle is an excellent addition for cooking breakfast or hibachi style meals. Add a pizza oven for family pizza night which is an absolute hit with the kids! You may prefer to install a charcoal grill or kamado for that old school charcoal flavor. Add a kamado or a smoker for that low temp, slow cooked flavor of smoked ribs, brisket or holiday turkey. Sinks, Faucets & Ice Bins: Installing an outdoor sink allows you the convenience of easy prep and clean up before and after you grill, without having to go back inside the house. Add a drop-in ice bin or an ice chest storage drawer to keep your beverages on ice. Maybe add a beverage/bar center for a more multi-functional sink/ice bin option. DIY – How to build a Simple Stand-alone Sun Shade - Shelter

04:12
DIY – How to build a Simple Stand-alone Sun Shade - Shelter I constructed this 10x10 sun shelter for less than one third the price of a store purchased structure, and had a blast designing and building it! I feel this shelter is higher quality than store bought and the top material is easy to remove before the winter snows in western Montana. I started with 10’ 4x4’s and 12’ 1x8’s. The structure is 8' high and 12' tip-to-tip on two sides. Two coats of stain will help preserve the structure from the elements. I fashioned metal caps for the top of the 4x4’s and installed adjusters from an old clothes dryer to the bottom of the posts. The adjusters also keep the structure off the courtyard pavers so that water cannot wick up the posts. I painted 10’ ¾” electrical conduit to hold the center of the sun shade material up. I drilled holes in the inner 1x8’s and inserted the conduit during the assembly process. This simple mounting technique eliminated complex mounting hardware. The sun shade material and trick mounting clips were purchased from Greenhouse Megastore. The material I used was 12’ wide (without any seams) and will block 80% of the sun. Greenhouse Megastore will cut the material length you require. I purchased 13 running feet to get over the minimum order, thus saving $20 on the cut charge. I cut the material to approximately 10x10 for my project. The clips are held in place at 8 points on the structure and 8 more clips were used to help stretch the material. The material does stretch nicely making a mighty fine cover. This was a fun, simple project that almost anyone can build and enjoy for years. Please contact me if you have any questions or comments. Still photography was taken with a Samsung Galaxy S5 smart phone and an Apple iPad Air2. Video was taken with a DJI OSMO camera. I used Microsoft Move Maker to assemble the stills and finished the project with Adobe Premier Pro. DIY Porch Roof: Building a Simple Pitched Roof Step by Step

14:51
Buy special woodscrews here ▶ https://amzn.to/2D5MQ16 See exactly how I made a simple porch roof. I chose a pitched roof design and in this video take you through the entire job step by step. This has made a massive improvement to the look of the property and is a really enjoyable DIY job. Please note that I am a DIYer and this is the first roof I have ever made. I made it 'by eye': I do not claim to be a roofer by any means and do not intend this to be a 'professional' guide! This roof is purely decorative - the flat concrete roof below is providing the required waterproofing, hence I did not need to fit a waterproof membrane under the shingles. Because there is no membrane, airflow around the shingles is increased. This, coupled with the fact that the house is on the windy west coast of England, will ensure that the shingles and other timber will readily dry out and therefore resist rot. I like the look of this little roof, it easily holds my weight, I am very confident it will never blow off, and hopefully I'll never have to touch it again as long as I live in the house. I've been sitting on this footage since this summer not entirely sure what I wanted to do with it since I already have 2 adirondack chair videos. I decided to give it an edit with my new style and some awesome music. Enjoy! The Jackman Adirondack chairs, a Jackman signature! The best design, taking advantage of the best features with both a curved back and seat while still being efficient to build. These are made from clear grain western red cedar, fastened together with 2" stainless steel screws, and finish with an exterior grade urethane finish. It takes me about 5 days to build a set of 6 like this. How to build a Farmhouse Table - The Most Complete Video Online - Episode 7

18:44
The most complete and in-depth video on how to build a farmhouse table. DIY PETE shows the entire process from start to finish. This farm table can be built out of everyday construction grade lumber for under $200. *Please NOTE: While my table has held up well and had only a small amount of movement after 2 1/2 years, there are certainly things I would do differently with more experience under my belt. For beginners, I'd recommend using biscuits and glue for the top planks. Dowels or floating tenons/dominos are another option. Do make sure to let the wood properly dry. Plans are based off Ana-White's build geared towards beginning DIY'ers. Pocket holes are a simple way to connect boards, but if you do have access to a biscuit joiner or are capable of more advanced joinery please go for it. For more info, project photos, and downloadable plans check out: http://www.DIYPETE.com/farmhousetable Benches: http://ana-white.com/2013/10/plans/4x4-truss-benches *Note that these are affiliate links, meaning that when you buy something that is recommended below, it helps support the Channel. Thanks in advance! *Tools Needed Power Drill - http://amzn.to/1OxMfnt 12″ Miter Saw - http://amzn.to/1VUVo8s Kreg Jig - http://amzn.to/1X7Bd9H Orbital Sander - http://amzn.to/1VUVNYy Clamps - http://amzn.to/1LwiDEs *Supplies Needed 2 1/2 inch Kreg Screws - http://amzn.to/1VUVPzF 6 inch Torq Screws - Need about 40 - 4.5 inch Torq Screws - Need about 20 2.5 inch Torq Screws - Need about 20 Stain ( or White Vinegar / Steel Wool ) You’ll need to buy 4×4, 2×10, and 2×4 boards for this project. These boards can be found at your local lumber yard. Take your time to find quality boards that are straight and have little warp. First, I built the table top out of 2x10s. I used 5 2×10’s for the main part of the table and a 2×10 for each breadboard end. Ana’s plans call for four main boards, but I wanted a little larger area to spread out. I used a 12″ miter saw to make all of the cuts. I cut the 5 boards to 69 inches long. Here is a look at the table top. A 2×10 board is actually 9 1/4 inches wide. The total dimensions of the top are 46 1/4 inches by 87 1/2 inches. Set the Kreg Jig at the 1 1/2 inch setting for the stock thickness. (My video says 2 1/2 inch setting but I meant to say 1 1/2 inch.) You’ll attach each board using the 2.5 inch long Kreg Jig screws. It helps to clamp the boards to each other and use a little body weight to get the boards even with each other. Drill two pocket holes on the ends of each board as well. They will be used to connect the main boards to the breadboard. I had to modify the width of the base a bit so that it fit the wider table top. I built the two ends out of 4×4’s. I used 6″ long torq screws (also known as star pattern screws or leg screws) to connect them (about 3 for each joint). The two vertical boards are cut at 10 degree angles (parallel to each other). Connect the two ends together with the 4×4 horizontal beams on top and bottom. I didn’t have an extra set up hands to help me, so I used Jack Clamps to help hold everything up while I tied the boards together with 6″ torq screws. Attach the base to the top using 4.5″ torq screws through the 4×4 beams. Use 2 inch torq screws to connect the 2×4 to the table top. (I counter sunk mine a bit). Here is a look at the completed table prior to staining and sealing the piece. I also created matching benches to fit this table. The plans can be found by clicking here. I modified the width so they are a total of 69″ wide. Instead of using a 2×10 for the breadboards I use 2×8’s. Everything else was kept the same as Ana’s plans. The inside span of my table where the benches fit in is 73″ so that left 2 inches of wiggle room on each side of the bench so it can easily slide in and out. The next step is to make the table unique to you. I decided to distress the farm table by using tools around the shop to make the table look worn. I used nails to create wormhole marks and a circular saw blade and hammer to put some character into the table. I used a #00 Steel Wool and White Vinegar solution to patina the wood and give it an aged look. Put a good handful of steel wool in a jar and add white vinegar. Let the vinegar dilute the steel wool for at least 3 to 4 days. The mixture will get darker the longer you let it sit. I let mine sit for a full week. Once diluted, simply brush the mixture on your piece. Oxidation will occur as the mixture reacts with the tannins in the wood to give it variations in color. Zac Efron Workout and Diet Plan (BAYWATCH!!)

12:01
Build ripped muscle like Zac with this program… http://athleanx.com/x/built-like-zac-year-round Zac Efron’s workout and diet plan are making waves this Summer because of his incredible physique transformation preparing for Baywatch. Along side the Rock, Zac holds his own, having carved out a chiseled body by focusing on 7 key elements of his training and nutrition. Recently, Men’s Fitness magazine published a story about the gains Efron made to get ready for his Summer comedy role. In this video, I am breaking down the most important aspects of his diet plan and workouts to help you to start getting better results from your workouts heading into Summer. I’m also going to take a look back at a former “most wanted” celebrity body (that of Taylor Lautner) to see what went wrong and prevented his gains from being permanent. First and foremost, it is worth noting that neither Zac Efron or Taylor Lautner are heavyweights. Both stand just 5 foot 10 inches tall and weigh no more than 170 pounds. To make his transformation for Baywatch, Efron gained just 10 pounds of lean muscle. The thing is, when you minimize your body fat levels and maximize the amount of muscle your body can naturally carry…you look much bigger than you are. Both of these guys have mastered this. That said, you can’t expect to look better without being willing to put in some hard work along the way. Zac did just this by adopting more heavy weight training into his workout routine. He stated that he never had lifted very heavy or explosive before preparing for this film. A lot of people actually find themselves in a similar position either because they are uncomfortable lifting heavy or just don’t have the base strength to be able to do it. By increasing his strength levels on the basic compound lifts, Efron was able to start adding to his muscle density and thickness. Next he followed a push, pull, legs training split. This workout sequence allows you to train your body more athletically since you train movements instead of individual muscles. The back and biceps are responsible for all lifts in which you pull the weight towards you or pull your body towards a fixed bar. It’s impossible to isolate their actions so it helps to train them together to allow you more recovery time between workouts. Daily ab training is another key to having the resting tone needed to showcase your abs year round (provided your diet and nutrition are in check). Zac Efron’s diet is also covered here as well. By including a cheat day once in awhile, he is able to maintain his sanity and consistency required to keep his body fat levels low year round. For a complete workout and nutrition plan to build athletic, ripped muscle like Zac Efron head to http://athleanx.com and get the ATHLEAN-X Training System. Native American Flute Music: Meditation Music for Shamanic Astral Projection, Healing Music

09:09:09
Native American Flute Music: Meditation Music for Shamanic Astral Projection, Healing Music Shamanism is a system for psychic, emotional, and spiritual healing and for exploration, discovery, and knowledge gathering about non-material worlds and states of mind. Shamanism is a "technique of ecstasy" in which the spirit of the shaman leaves the body and travels to communicate with spirit helpers and other beings for the purpose of obtaining knowledge, power, or healing. Shamanic Astral Projection or Shamanic Journeying is an altered state of consciousness wherein you enter a realm called non-ordinary reality. By journeying you can gather knowledge and perform healing in ways that are not accessible in ordinary waking reality. How does shamanism work? Some people think that in shamanic healing journeying, the spirit leaves the body and a person is being healed by spirit helpers. Others think that shamanic journeying allows access to one's own intuition, which may otherwise be drowned out by the prattle of everyday thinking or by anxiety; and that it is a way of engaging a person's subconscious desires for healing. Shamanic healing may not cure physical or psychological illness, but it may help one gain psychic energy that will allow one better to handle illness. Shamanic healing therefore is best used in conjunction with other treatments, not as a substitute for them. Connection with a Power Animal A power animal protects you physically and provides you with emotional support, wisdom, and vital energy. Some people think a power animal is a spirit being that stays with you because it cares for you and enjoys being able to experience life in a physical body. Others think a power animal is a symbol for one's subconscious wisdom. Almost everybody has a power animal; some have several. (Perhaps you had an "invisible animal friend" as a child or have always been fascinated with a particular kind of animal. This animal may be your Power Animal). A person may, in the course of life, lose contact with the power animal, thereby losing the animal's protection, wisdom, and energy. If you lose contact with your Power Animal, you may feel dispirited, or you may become sick easily. The Shamanic Astral Projection technique of Power Animal Retrieval can restore a person's connection to a Power Animal. A person can also journey to find his or her own Power Animal. To maintain a connection with your Power Animal, take the time to learn about your animal, learn to feel its presence, communicate with it, and honor it by doing things that it enjoys. Free flow of emotional and physical energy Health requires a free flow of energy that one can use to accomplish one's desires in the world. But one's energy can become blocked in various ways. People who have lost parts of their life essence, who have been ill, who have lost connection with a Power Animal, or who are regularly exposed to emotionally stressful situations are vulnerable to intrusions or "psychic infections" that block a person's connection with self or drain a person's energy. An intrusion can be thought of either as a foreign energy being that takes up residence in a person's psychic body (a psychic infection), or as a psychic structure (an emotional wall or barrier) that a person built to keep herself safe from harm, but that now is blocking some of his/her energy expression. A person with an intrusion might feel drained or ill, might have aches and pains, might have nightmares or other fears. A shamanic healer can find and remove intrusions and barriers in a healing ritual called extraction. A sense of purpose A sense of purpose is necessary to happiness. The person who loves and cares about the world and fellow beings, who wants to make some small part of the universe a better place, has a sense of purpose. A person can find a sense of purpose in life by seeking knowledge and direction through shamanic journeys, divinations, and rituals. Barn Home Design Ideas

02:31
Bar is the hub for many people to come and relax on the weekends. Everyone wants to enter it that welcomes them and makes them feel comfortable. Young people are very selective of which bar they go to, they often look out for the nicest one with great interior designs and great ambience. This is one important reason for the interior designers to furbish their ideas and create a beautiful place that has mix of beauty with the charm and the warmness. Bar has to bring an ebullient attitude to the interiors; this work can only be done by professional interior designers who have expertise in this area. Process of designing Bar interior designers have to organize a plan like any other process, they are responsible in meeting with the owner to decide on what color, what material is needed to polish the entire place. The interior designers then sit with their team members and discuss the plan that is being passed by the owner of the Bar. The interior designing process can take a long time depending on the expectations of the owner. The interior designers some times go through stress of organizing the whole process of designing, because designing a bar takes lot of concentration and dedication in giving the customer or the client what they want. Bars interior designing usually can really be stressful, it is very demanding, especially because interior designing is the most important aspect . The interior designers are perfectionist modelers when it comes to designing and modeling the bar. Interior designing process itself takes many days before the interior designers finalize the entire project. Bar designing ideas There are many interior designers that go through millions of ideas before refurbishing their ideas and centralizing them to one concept. These ideas usually depend on whether it is going to be built as a home bar. With home bars there are many varieties as kegger bar, bar back, portable party bar, L-shaped wet bar and the straight wet bar. Most times the home built bars have storage areas, adjustable shelves of glasses and liquor bottles and cabinets. The interior designers are specific on the designs, usually bar tops are made of high pressure surfaces that are heat resistant and water proof. Some of them also have refrigerator systems and built in sinks to keep the drinks and kegs cold. Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/2248002
