However, most people don’t realize that having high blood pressure ALSO causes erectile problems.3 In fact, high blood pressure also causes a decrease in libido and loss of interest in sex for women as well!3 And this is important to know because 33% of Americans over the age of 20 have high blood pressure.1 And 90% have hypertension by age 65.1,2 And worse yet, 72% of people don’t even know they have high blood pressure.2 So statistically speaking, if you’re watching this video … you probably do NOT have “optimal” blood pressure levels. And if you’re experiencing any form of erectile dysfunction … or a decrease in your libido … or you simply want to improve your “performance” in the bedroom, it’s extremely important that you improve your blood pressure. Hypertension & Physical Causes Blood vessel damage from high blood pressure (HBP or hypertension) reduces blood flow throughout your body. Lower blood flow to the pelvis can negatively affect the sex lives of both men and women. Men - High Blood Pressure and Erectile Dysfunction In a man, the effects of high blood pressure on sexual function are more physically apparent than they are with women. Erectile dysfunction happens when there’s not enough blood flow to the penis to allow for an erection. Basically, a common cause of erectile dysfunction (impotence) is damage to the lining of the arteries to the penis. Because of this, there’s less blood getting to the penis and thus, you end up have a “limp dick”. Blood pressure can damage your arteries by causing them to become thicker, or even to burst. This can restrict blood flow to your penis, which can cause impotence. Women - High Blood Pressure, Loss of libido & Interest Women with high blood pressure may have lower libido and less interest in sex, especially if the condition is contributing to fatigue. If a woman’s blood flow to her vagina is reduced, it may also affect how her body responds both before and during intercourse. Getting an erection is really a complicated process. Anatomy of an Erection In the shaft of the penis there are two side-by-side chambers of spongy tissue called the corpora cavernosa. They're mainly responsible for erections. Just below them is another chamber called the corpus spongiosum. The urethra, which carries semen and urine, runs through the center of it. The corpora cavernosa are made of small arteries and veins, smooth muscle fiber, and empty spaces. The chambers are wrapped in a sheath of thin tissue. When you get an erection, signals from the brain or nerve endings in the penis cause the smooth muscle of the chambers to relax and arteries to dilate, or open wider. This allows a rush of blood to fill the empty spaces. The pressure of blood flow causes the sheath of tissue around the chambers to press on veins that normally drain blood out of the penis. That traps blood in the penis. As more blood flows in, the penis expands and stiffens, and you have an erection. When the excitement ends, the smooth muscle contracts again, taking pressure off the veins and allowing blood to flow back out of the penis. Then the penis returns to a flaccid state. High Blood Pressure and Other Causes of Erectile Dysfunction High blood pressure is a major cause of erection problems. A study in the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society found that about 49% of men ages 40 to 79 with high blood pressure had erectile dysfunction. Another study of men with high blood pressure, published in the Journal of Urology, found that 68% of them had some degree of erectile dysfunction. For 45% of the men, it was considered severe. High blood pressure keeps the arteries that carry blood into the penis from dilating the way they're supposed to. It also makes the smooth muscle in the penis lose its ability to relax. This simple exercise will also help avoid the embarrasing “premature ejeculation”, allowing you to statisfy your parter, better and long than ever before. If you’ve been following my work and watching my videos, you would know that certain exercises can either increase or decrease your libido, erection strength, hardness and even size, because of hormonal changes. If you didn’t already know, testosterone is the primary hormone that increases your libido, sex drive and “muscle size”. Unfortunately, this hormone starts to decrease around the age of 25. However, certain exercises can increase your decrease your testosterone. For example, doing too much cardiovascular exercise - like running, jogging, etc. can decrease your testosterone because of the increase in your stress hormone, cortisol. TWO things you do NOT want to do. One of the best forms of exercise for increasing your testosterone is lifting weights. However, too much of that isn’t good either. About 3-4x weekly, no more than an hour is just the right amount to increase your testosterone and help improve your libido and sex drive. The Non-Exercise, Exercise However, today I’m NOT going to discuss anything about lifting weights, cardio, etc. I’ve done that in the past. What I want to talk about is a very simple “non-exercise”, exercise... that you can do RIGHT NOW, while watching this video and that’s called, the Kegel Exercise. I call this the “non-exercise” exercise because it requires no gym, equipment or even real movement. Now, some of you may have heard of this. Unfortunately most do it incorrectly. Kegel exercises are done to strengthen the perineal muscles. To “flex” this muscle, it’s very simple. One way to describe how to do it is, by contracting your anus muscle, as if you’re trying to hold in gas. Go ahead and give it a try now... Another way to do it is stop peeing midway through. Thus, as you’re peeing, “contract the muscle” that will STOP the pee, midway through. That’s it - that’s a kegel exercise. Super simple, but extremely effective. You can literally do it anywhere, anytime and nobody would know. Sets & Reps You should do kegel’s about 3x a week to start with. Over time, slowly build up to 5x weekly. Just don’t do it every single day because like any muscle, it requires rest to gain strength. Contract the muscle (holding in gas or stop peeing) and hold for 3-5 seconds. Relax for 1-2 seconds. That’s ONE repetition Do this 10 of these, for 10 repetitions. That’s ONE set Do one set of 10 repetitions, 3x weekly. Then maybe the next week do 2 sets of 10 reps and work up to 3 sets of 10 reps, 3x weekly. You can do it all at once, or break it up 2-3x daily. Nothing it set in stone. What matters is consistency, persistence and patience. Benefits There lots of benefits when this muscle is strong Stronger, full erections Last longer, more stamina and the prevention of premature ejeculation. Stronger orgasms. Healthier prostate. Improvement for those who have overactive bladder or urinary incontinence. How To Improve Results Of course, doing the right exercises is a great start. HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE | HYPERTENSION | HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE SYMPTOMS AND TREATMENT IN URDU/HINDI HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE: High blood pressure is also known as hypertension, caused by the increase in blood circulation in the body. If it is not treated on time, it can cause brain haemorrhage, coma and even death. For this reason it is vital that it be taken proper care of. The most important thing to know about high blood pressure control what it exactly it, what causes and what are the ways to treat this health condition. Heart Pumping and Blood Pressure: Human body contains 5-6 liters of blood depending on the sex and age. Almost 5 liters of blood passes through the heart and is purified every second. Heart separates deoxygenated blood from oxygenated blood, send the deoxygenated blood to the lungs for getting oxygen and the oxygenated blood to all part of the body. This process is done by the contraction & relaxation of the heart muscles, each cycle called a heart beat. After purifying the blood, it delivers the blood to all body parts through veins and arteries. The amount of heart beats depends on the flow of blood from the heart. If the pressure of blood flow is high, the heart beat rate will also be higher. Same is the other way around. This increased or decreased blood pressure causes the veins & valves to contract and expand accordingly putting pressure on the blood vessels and the heart. Symptoms: Headache Vomit Low energy level Weak eye sight Improper working of digestive system How to measure the blood pressure & its diagnosis: The first step in high blood pressure treatment is diagnosing whether a patient has high BP of low. If the blood circulation is 140 / 90 torr or higher, then it will be categorized as high blood pressure. 139 / 89 torr pressure is known as pre-hyper tension, which indicates that it is the starting point of blood pressure. Diagnosis process needs to be carried according to following parameters: Sample should be examined three times in a week. If the blood pressure of the patient is very high then one should wait for half hour then check the blood pressure again. The blood pressure is measured with a strip and from upper part of arm. BP is measured in “mmhg”, which is known as Cardiac Output or heart rate; increased heart rate indicates high blood pressure. According to the American Heart Association blood pressure in measured in two parameters; Dialectic mmhg and Systolic mmhg. In a healthy human being, the level of systolic & dialectic blood mmhg should be according to the following figures. Systolic mmhg: hypertension 90, 90 – 119 Dialectic mmhg: hypertension 60, 60 – 79 High Blood Pressure Treatment: It important to avoid the things that cause high blood pressure in the first place. Hypertension is divided into five stages, first two stages are not very dangerous and by self precautions, you can prevent severe hypertension. At this stage patient should avoid foods with high fats, smoking & exercise regularly. Salt is the main cause of high blood pressure and drug therapy & Beta blockers are suggested for the patients. Eating a healthy diet and emphasizing on natural diet like fruits and vegetables can help control blood pressure a lot. If you have developed High BP, it is very important that you get checkup every now and then. Lastly, it depends on you that how much you are willing to control hypertension. Try progressive muscle relaxation. All the way from the fingers to the toes, tense and then relax each muscle group in the body. This will help relieve tension and you’ll find that once the muscles are relaxed, the mind will soon follow. 9. TURN YOUR FREAKIN PHONE OFF. Just talking on the phone has been shown to raise blood pressure. Whenever you need a break, just turn your phone on airplane mode for an hour and put it out of sight. 10. Hop off Facebook for a week. Facebook has been proven to make us feel sadder and less satisfied. Studies have also shown that when people deactivate it, they feel happier and less worried. 11. Go for a 10-minute walk. Just walking around your neighborhood for 10 minutes will boost endorphins and reduce stress hormones. If you can, walk in a park or a place with nature for greater effects. 12. Use your nose There are plenty of studies that support aromatherapy as a good way to reduce stress. Certain scents, like lavender and peppermint, have been shown to repeatedly reduce stress levels. 13. Take vitamin C. Keeping a gratitude journal has been shown to make people feel happier over time. Even doing something as simple as writing out 3 new things you’re grateful for every morning in your phone will work. 15. Take a cat nap. Napping has been shown to reduce cortisol levels and aid in stress relief. A simple 20-30-minute nap is perfect for a boost of energy and a reduction in stress. 16. Have sex.
