Hypertension & Physical Causes Blood vessel damage from high blood pressure (HBP or hypertension) reduces blood flow throughout your body. Lower blood flow to the pelvis can negatively affect the sex lives of both men and women. Men - High Blood Pressure and Erectile Dysfunction In a man, the effects of high blood pressure on sexual function are more physically apparent than they are with women. Erectile dysfunction happens when there’s not enough blood flow to the penis to allow for an erection. Basically, a common cause of erectile dysfunction (impotence) is damage to the lining of the arteries to the penis. Because of this, there’s less blood getting to the penis and thus, you end up have a “limp dick”. Blood pressure can damage your arteries by causing them to become thicker, or even to burst. Remember, hormones affect you both physically and emotionally. What’s interesting is that the newest research shows that men with ED typically also have heart problems.5 Thus, ED is a pre-warning sign that you may have a heart attack or stroke in the future because you have a buildup of plaque and calcium in your blood vessels.5 How To Improve Your Blood Flow The older we get, the worse your circulation becomes. This affects your entire body - from head to your two, inside and out. Remember, your blood contains oxygen, youthful hormones and nutrients to feed all of your cells. So you must improve your circulation for better health and longevity and this first starts with improving your lifestyle. This means: Reduce or eliminate fried fats. Eat natural, raw fats - raw nuts and seeds, avocados, extra virgin olive oil, fish oils and similar uncooked fats. Choose wild caught fish and cage-free poultry more often than red meat. Typically you have low testosterone, high female and stress hormones. And I’ve mentioned this in the past… However, there’s also a secondary reason that can’t and shouldn’t be ignored and that has to do with poor blood flow and circulation - throughout your body, but more specifically to your penis. BTW, this also affects women to a smaller degree by reduced blood flow to their clitoris. In fact, I want you to quickly watch this short 30 second clip from Dr. David Perlmutter and Dr. Daniel Amen. So there are two things I want to point out based on what was stated in the video clip: The Harvard study1 points out at the primary non-hormonal reason of erectile Dysfunction is “the most common cause is inadequate blood supply to the spongy tissues in the penis that provide rigidity”. Of course, poor blood flow also reduces the size and firmness of your penis. The second thing I want to point out is how Dr. Amen stated that “it means you have bad habits”. By this he means that most people are “unknowingly” making the wrong lifestyle choices every day and thus, the “bad habits”. And that’s what I quickly want to discuss today - 3 clinically proven and simple changes you can make right away, that’ll naturally improve your blood flow and circulation and thus, not only improving your erections. 3 Clinically Proven Ways To Increase Blood Flow & Improve Your Erections =-=-=-=-=- 1 - DIET Diet obviously plays a big role in improving your blood flow and reducing plaque buildup. The good news is that it’s never too late to eat a healthier diet. Just as years of bad eating can damage your body, good eating can help heal it and it can happen quickly. Add more “healthy” fats to your diet. These are typically mono and poly unsaturated fats. They’re found in foods like olives, raw seeds and nuts, avocados, and fish. These should be RAW and uncooked. You should lift weights and do cardio - both are needed. And in my opinion, “resistance exercise” is more important than cardiovascular. What's interesting is that there is a strong link between low testosterone and decreased libido in many women. And many conditions that you might not realize contribute to low testosterone in one way or another. For this reason, evaluating your testosterone is very important and replacing those levels may be necessary in some women. The disease is most often spread through vaginal, oral, or anal sex, but it can also spread through genital touching. Methods of prevention include sexual abstinence, using condoms, not douching, and getting tested for STDs with each new partner. 9. Genital Herpes Genital herpes is an infection caused by herpes simplex virus and one of the most common STDs in the world. Most infected people don’t experience any symptoms, but when symptoms do appear they typically include small blisters that break open to form painful ulcers on the genital area. Even though genital herpes is most contagious when symptoms are present, it can still be passed to others in the absence of symptoms. The onset is usually around 4 days after exposure and symptoms can last up to 4 weeks. In addition to painful blisters, an infected person may also experience itching and burning sensation, discharge, fever, headache, muscle pain, enlarged lymph nodes, and general feeling of discomfort. Women also experience additional symptoms such as painful urination and inflammation of the cervix. Genital herpes cannot be cured and infection usually recurs four to six times per year. Complications are rare but may include bladder problems, meningitis, and an increased risk of HIV/AIDS. As with most STDs, prevention includes abstinence, using condoms, and only having sex with partners who have tested negative for HSV. 8. Crabs Pubic lice, better known as crabs, are parasitic insects that primarily infest the pubic or genital area of humans. Nits and live lice are often visible to the naked eye and adult lice can sometimes be seen crawling on the skin. In most cases, crabs are transmitted through sexual activity but nonsexual transmission is also possible. For example, a person can get crabs from sleeping in an infested bed, using infested towels, wearing infested clothing, or rarely by using an infested toilet seat. The main symptom of crabs is intense itching in the pubic-hair area, which gradually becomes stronger over several weeks following infestation. This itching is caused by an allergic reaction to the saliva produced by the parasite, and usually starts about five days after a person gets crabs. Crabs are treated with both over-the-counter and prescription medications and several rounds of treatment are usually needed to kill all of the newly hatched nymphs. Sexual contact should be avoided until all signs of infestation disappear. People with more sex partners are at a greater risk of getting crabs and since condoms do not provide effective protection, the only way to reduce your risk is through abstinence or mutual monogamy with an uninfected partner. 7. Chancroid Unlike crabs, the next STD on our list is spread exclusively through sexual contact. Chancroid, also known as soft chancre, is a bacterial infection mainly found in developing countries and among low socioeconomic populations. This simple exercise will also help avoid the embarrasing “premature ejeculation”, allowing you to statisfy your parter, better and long than ever before. If you’ve been following my work and watching my videos, you would know that certain exercises can either increase or decrease your libido, erection strength, hardness and even size, because of hormonal changes. If you didn’t already know, testosterone is the primary hormone that increases your libido, sex drive and “muscle size”. Unfortunately, this hormone starts to decrease around the age of 25. However, certain exercises can increase your decrease your testosterone. For example, doing too much cardiovascular exercise - like running, jogging, etc. can decrease your testosterone because of the increase in your stress hormone, cortisol. TWO things you do NOT want to do. One of the best forms of exercise for increasing your testosterone is lifting weights. However, too much of that isn’t good either. About 3-4x weekly, no more than an hour is just the right amount to increase your testosterone and help improve your libido and sex drive. The Non-Exercise, Exercise However, today I’m NOT going to discuss anything about lifting weights, cardio, etc. I’ve done that in the past. What I want to talk about is a very simple “non-exercise”, exercise... that you can do RIGHT NOW, while watching this video and that’s called, the Kegel Exercise. I call this the “non-exercise” exercise because it requires no gym, equipment or even real movement. Now, some of you may have heard of this. Unfortunately most do it incorrectly. Kegel exercises are done to strengthen the perineal muscles. To “flex” this muscle, it’s very simple. One way to describe how to do it is, by contracting your anus muscle, as if you’re trying to hold in gas. Go ahead and give it a try now... Another way to do it is stop peeing midway through. Thus, as you’re peeing, “contract the muscle” that will STOP the pee, midway through. That’s it - that’s a kegel exercise. Super simple, but extremely effective. You can literally do it anywhere, anytime and nobody would know. Sets & Reps You should do kegel’s about 3x a week to start with. Over time, slowly build up to 5x weekly. Just don’t do it every single day because like any muscle, it requires rest to gain strength. Contract the muscle (holding in gas or stop peeing) and hold for 3-5 seconds. Relax for 1-2 seconds. That’s ONE repetition Do this 10 of these, for 10 repetitions. That’s ONE set Do one set of 10 repetitions, 3x weekly. Then maybe the next week do 2 sets of 10 reps and work up to 3 sets of 10 reps, 3x weekly. You can do it all at once, or break it up 2-3x daily. Nothing it set in stone. What matters is consistency, persistence and patience. Benefits There lots of benefits when this muscle is strong Stronger, full erections Last longer, more stamina and the prevention of premature ejeculation. Stronger orgasms. Healthier prostate. Improvement for those who have overactive bladder or urinary incontinence. How To Improve Results Of course, doing the right exercises is a great start. However, when it comes the user preference, Cialis is a big winner simply because you don’t have to time it right before sex. You can take it in the morning and it’s in your system for a couple of days. So, you’re ready to go the entire time. However, keep in mind that Cialis is also SLOW to act and it does take a couple of hours to kick in, while Viagra takes only about 20-30 minutes. Sex Is Expensive Now, what’s crazy is that Cialis costs about $60 a pill. But hey, that’s cheaper than Viagra’s almost $75 a pill price.1.2 But, I get it. When a man can’t perform, he’ll do almost anything to make “it” work. And yes, there are generic versions you can buy overseas which costs less, but they are typically under dosed or faked. You could lose your money and never get your order. You’re also at risk with legal issues with the DEA, Customs, FDA and so forth. But, who cares… anything to get an erection, right?... The Side-Effects Unfortunately, Cialis has bunch of negative side-effects… similar to Viagra, such as: Headaches Vision problems Insomnia Back pain Sinus and nose problems Nausea and stomach issues Blood pressure issues Heart and stroke problems Liver and kidney issues But for sex, I think most guys will put up with these side-effects. … at least temporarily. Unfortunately, there are 3 main problems with Cialis and how well it works or doesn’t work Cialis doesn’t work in about 40-50% of users… and I’ll tell you why in a minute and how this can be fixed.7 … Sadly, it works even LESS in men with diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol or high blood pressure Cialis doesn’t work as well in “older” men over the age of 40. Ironically, it works better and has less side-effects in younger guys who don’t really need it. I’ll also tell you how this can be fixed in a minute. Your body adapts to Cialis and it doesn’t work as well over time. The more you use it, the less it works. So if you’re a younger guy using it now, you’re going to have a big problem later on in life. The physical causes of erectile dysfunction include alcohol in excess, chronic diseases (such as diabetes) and some drugs that are used to treat hypertension and depression. Stress and concerns about mental health can cause or worsen erectile dysfunction. An injury, surgery or side effects of a drug can also cause it. If you do not get an erection less than 20% of the time, it is not abnormal and usually does not require treatment, according to the Cleveland Clinic. So, how do you know when to take Viagra? Failure to have an erection more than 50% of the time usually means that there is a problem and that treatment is needed. Before you take Viagra, make sure you get physical exams first. According to the American Academy of Family Physicians, it is best to visit your doctor so they can rule out any underlying problems that could be causing erection problems, such as high blood pressure or diabetes. If it is not treated on time, it can cause brain haemorrhage, coma and even death. For this reason it is vital that it be taken proper care of. The most important thing to know about high blood pressure control what it exactly it, what causes and what are the ways to treat this health condition. Heart Pumping and Blood Pressure: Human body contains 5-6 liters of blood depending on the sex and age. Almost 5 liters of blood passes through the heart and is purified every second. Heart separates deoxygenated blood from oxygenated blood, send the deoxygenated blood to the lungs for getting oxygen and the oxygenated blood to all part of the body. This process is done by the contraction & relaxation of the heart muscles, each cycle called a heart beat. After purifying the blood, it delivers the blood to all body parts through veins and arteries. The amount of heart beats depends on the flow of blood from the heart. If the pressure of blood flow is high, the heart beat rate will also be higher. Same is the other way around. This increased or decreased blood pressure causes the veins & valves to contract and expand accordingly putting pressure on the blood vessels and the heart. Symptoms: Headache Vomit Low energy level Weak eye sight Improper working of digestive system How to measure the blood pressure & its diagnosis: The first step in high blood pressure treatment is diagnosing whether a patient has high BP of low. If the blood circulation is 140 / 90 torr or higher, then it will be categorized as high blood pressure. 139 / 89 torr pressure is known as pre-hyper tension, which indicates that it is the starting point of blood pressure. Diagnosis process needs to be carried according to following parameters: Sample should be examined three times in a week. If the blood pressure of the patient is very high then one should wait for half hour then check the blood pressure again. The blood pressure is measured with a strip and from upper part of arm. BP is measured in “mmhg”, which is known as Cardiac Output or heart rate; increased heart rate indicates high blood pressure. According to the American Heart Association blood pressure in measured in two parameters; Dialectic mmhg and Systolic mmhg. In a healthy human being, the level of systolic & dialectic blood mmhg should be according to the following figures. Systolic mmhg: hypertension 90, 90 – 119 Dialectic mmhg: hypertension 60, 60 – 79 High Blood Pressure Treatment: It important to avoid the things that cause high blood pressure in the first place. Hypertension is divided into five stages, first two stages are not very dangerous and by self precautions, you can prevent severe hypertension. At this stage patient should avoid foods with high fats, smoking & exercise regularly. Salt is the main cause of high blood pressure and drug therapy & Beta blockers are suggested for the patients. Eating a healthy diet and emphasizing on natural diet like fruits and vegetables can help control blood pressure a lot. If you have developed High BP, it is very important that you get checkup every now and then. Lastly, it depends on you that how much you are willing to control hypertension. Additional Mirena/Skyla information: How do they insert it? -You have to go into a health care office. They will insert speculum, clean vagina and cervix with antiseptic, then use a special instrument to align cervical canal and uterine cavity, and another to measure depth of uterus. Then they’ll fold down the arms, place it in an applicator tube, place that tube in cervical canal and place IUD in uterus, then trim string so it doesn’t hang too far down in your vagina. You may experience dizziness, fainting, nausea, low blood pressure, slower heart rate, and often you will be asked to continue to lay down for a few minutes. Upkeep? -After each period you have to check for the string -Sometimes you will have a check up one month after insertion to make sure it is sitting right and you don’t have any infection. Side effects that need to be addressed by doctor: severe cramps, pelvic pain, extreme dizziness, heavy or ongoing bleeding, vaginal sores, foul discharge, severe pain in side or lower stomach, pale skin, weakness, easy bruising or bleeding, fever chills, or other signs of infection, pain during sex, sudden numbness/weakness on one side of body, severe headache, confusion, problems with vision, sensitivity to light, jaundice, allergic reaction Less serious side effects: irregular periods, changes in patter or flow, breakthrough bleeding, or heavier bleeding following insertion, back pain, headache, nervousness, mild dizziness, nausea, vomiting, bloating, breast tenderness or pain, weight game, acne, changes in hair growth, mood changes, loss of libido, mild itching, skin rash, puffiness in face, hands, ankles or feet. Precautions - Ectopic Pregnancy, General Pregnancy (may cause spontaneous abortion or preterm labor), pelvic inflammatory disease, Irregular Bleeding and Amenorrhea, Perforation (total or partial penetration/embedment of Mirena in uterus or cervix), Expulsion (Mirena coming out of uterus), Ovarian Cysts, Breast Cancer (if you have/had or have a potential of getting you should avoid hormonal BC because some breast cancers or hormone-sensitive) Do not get if you have abnormal vaginal bleeding, uncontrolled pelvic infection, a condition affecting shape of uterus, past, present or possible breast cancer, liver problems, cervical or uterine cancer, weak immune system, have had a serious pelvic infection following pregnancy or abortion, history of pelvic inflammatory disease, recent abnormal pap smear.
