I heard that you should take them at night for better absorption. Yes, they'll sit in your stomach all night and digest. But the same is true during the day unless you pop a pill right before a marathon. Is there a bad time to take vitamins? For actual vitamins, there is no bad time. Don't take them without water, since the fluids help you break down and absorb the vitamins. I was told to take weight loss supplements in the morning, while others are best at night. Most weight loss supplements are just appetite suppressants or stimulants. If you take it at night, you won't sleep. Let's say it is a vitamin B pill. When should I take that? Whenever it doesn't make you look like you're popping too many pills. Though if you are taking appetite suppressants, taking vitamins at that time reduces the risk of malnutrition. I eat sensibly. Most people popping weight loss supplements are going to drink shakes or eat a frozen dinner at night, not nine servings of vegetables to get all the micronutrients they need. I heard that you don't want to take them all at once. True, because then your body has trouble absorbing them all. And you should check with your doctor on timing since some supplements could interfere with medication you are taking. I heard you shouldn't take vitamins in the morning due to poor absorption. That's only if you take them on an empty stomach, since your body will push it on through. Take vitamins with a small snack so your body stops to digest it. Someone said you have to take vitamin B or C with dinner. Those are water soluble vitamins. If you take it without any water or food, it is flushed out of your system. Potassium out of all the electrolytes is the one that we need in a very large quantities. Why is that? Why do we need potassium in a large amount? I am talking 4,700 mg to 6,000 mg every single day and that is equivalent to 7 to 10+ cups of salad or vegetables every single day. Let’s go dig further into exactly to why we need potassium. There are something in the body called sodium-potassium pump. It is built in a little protein connected to an enzyme, it forms a whole enzyme in the surface of your cells and you will have between 8,000 to 30million of this little tiny pumps and they are little generators that generate electricity to allow things to go through the cell so it take a lot of energy, in fact the energy of 1/3 of your diet goes to running those pumps. You also have another pump in the stomach called the hydrogen potassium ATPas, it is basically another pump that is built with a potassium that allows you to create stomach acid to help you digest. This pumps are also in the muscles, nervous systems and the pumps in the nervous system used about 60% of your body’s chloric intake of energy. In other words, these pumps are really critically important in exchanging nutrition, glucose, amino acids and other minerals to allow them to transport in other cell. Potassium is essential for building the pumps to allow these functions right here, they charge the cell electrically, so your cells have a certain voltage to allow things to work and go in and out of the cell to create different energy. In fact your energy that you have that controls your metabolism is controlled partly by these little pump. So it charges the cell electrically, it gives you energy. Your liver is a veritable chemical factory that quietly carries out more than 400 important functions each day that keep you healthy. Among its responsibilities, the liver manufactures blood proteins, immune factors, bile and cholesterol. It also recycles iron from red blood cells and detoxifies urea, drugs and other compounds. To function efficiently, your liver requires specific vitamins and nutrients from your diet or through supplements. How Much Does Your Liver Need of the Vitamins It Needs to Function? Your liver is one of your body's most metabolically active organs, meaning its energy demands are high. The liver, brain, kidneys and heart together account for about 5 percent of your body weight. Yet, these organs account for 60 percent of the energy your body consumes when you are at rest, according to the book "Principles of Clinical Gastroenterology." To keep you liver functioning efficiently, it needs a good supply of B-complex vitamins to assist it with the breakdown of carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Deficiencies of vitamin A and iron are among the most common nutritional deficiencies worldwide, according to a study published in the 2000 issue of "Nutrition." Vitamin A may lower iron levels and lead to anemia, and low iron may lead to low vitamin A levels in the liver, according to a study published in the May 2000 issue of the "Journal of Nutrition." Similarly, supplementing with vitamin A along with iron resolves iron deficiency anemia better than either iron or vitamin A alone, notes the Linus Pauling Institute. Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin stored in the liver. Excess vitamin D, which usually occurs from taking too many supplements, can cause poor appetite, nausea and vomiting; elevated calcium in the blood; and impaired growth. Mega doses of vitamin D are not associated with elevated liver enzymes. A study of previously published research that appeared in the June 2008 issue of the "Journal of Chiropractic Medicine" found that vitamin C can lower levels of low-density lipoprotein, or LDL, and triglycerides. In the study, supplementation with 500 milligrams of vitamin C per day reduced triglyceride levels significantly. Vitamin C may help counteract the triglyceride-elevating effect of the drug tamoxifen, according to New York University's Langone Medical Center.

No, it’s not what you use to BBQ ribs. It’s what health-trend fanatics are using to detox, brighten skin, and whiten their teeth. But just because you can wash with it, eat it, and brush your teeth with it, doesn’t necessarily mean you should. The global market for activated charcoal is projected to reach $6.2 billion by 2022. An impressive feat, considering it comes from the same stuff as your grilling charcoal: burnt wood. The difference is that activated charcoal is burned at higher temperatures, so it breaks down into a fine powder. Which gives it a larger surface area than a chunk of charcoal on the grill. And that’s exactly what you want when you’re trying to remove toxins from your body. How it works has to do with the microscopic structure of the charcoal itself.  Inside each particle are millions of pores that act like a tiny trap. Swallow some, for example, and the outsides will bind to other substances in your gut. Which is helpful if you’ve just overdosed on drugs since it can prevent them from entering your system. And in fact, this is exactly what hospitals will use to treat certain cases of poisoning before resorting to pumping the stomach. But drugs aren’t the only thing charcoal binds to. It can also soak up minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants. So when you drink charcoal-laced lemonade with a healthy meal, you’re absorbing fewer nutrients than you otherwise would. To make matters worse, it can prevent medications, like antidepressants and contraceptive pills, from reaching your system. The key to activated charcoal — whether it’s saving a life or depriving you of nutrition — is timing.  It only works if there’s something for it to absorb in the first place. So, taking charcoal pills for a hangover the next morning isn’t going to help. Because that alcohol is long gone from your stomach by then. But ingesting charcoal for any other reason than treating a severe case of poisoning isn’t a good idea. It’s indigestible. So after you eat it, your body passes it along and eventually out the other end. But along the way, it can have side effects like constipation and nausea. Not to mention, there’s no evidence to support the claims from charcoal enthusiasts that it’ll prevent bloating, boost energy, brighten skin, or whiten teeth. Hi guys welcome back to my channel. Today I am going to share with you guys on how to grow your nails really fast and long very easily in just 10 days. Ok so the process is divided into 2 simple steps. The first step is to make a nail soaking solution for which you will need Ingredients half a lemon 1 Teaspoon extra virgin Olive oil 1 teaspoon salt and half a bowl of warm water. Let me show you guys how to make it. Take half a bowl of warm water,not hot but warm water squeeze half a lemon into it and then add 1 teaspoon olive oil into it and finally add 1 teaspoon of salt as well. Stir the mixture very well. Keep this aside and now let’s make the cuticle oil which is our 2nd step. For this you will only need 2 simple ingredients that is 1 teaspoon olive oil 2 vitamin E capsules a clean container to store in the mixture. Take the clean container and fill it with 1 teaspoon olive oil and then cut open 2 vitamin E capsules and add it into the container as well. Mix everything together. You can keep this in room temperature for more than 3 months. Now it’s time to apply. I am going to take you all from Day 1 to Day 10 of my nail growth journey. Ok so let’s start with Day 1. You can see that my nails are really short. So basically What you need to do is just soak your nails in the soaking solution which we made earlier for around 30 mins. Also gently massage your nail while it’s in the solution. Lemon contains vitamin C that is essential for nail growth. Also, it helps treat yellow nails and gives your nails a nice shine. Salt softens cuticles and skin and strengthens nails. It also helps to to fight the bacteria preventing nail growth. So after 30 minutes just wipe your hands and fingers with a clean towel. You need not have to wash it off. Now comes the second step which is apply the cuticle oil. You can apply the apply using a bud or a cotton swab. I would say not to dip your fingers inside it as it can build up bacteria. Massage your nails very well in a circular motion for about 5 to 10 mins. To promote nail growth, it is essential to keep your nails well moisturized. Olive oil is the best when it comes to nail care. It penetrates deep into the skin and nails and thus helps nourish your nails. Plus, it contains vitamin E which improves blood circulation, helps repair damaged nails and promotes nail strength and growth. Vitamin E oil is known as a magical ingredient when it comes to nail growth. Vitamin E can help correct certain nail-growth disorders and problems, including yellow nail. The vitamin E oil will keep your cuticles healthy and moist if you use it properly. That’s all you need to do. Continue this 2 process every day for 10 days. But you will start seeing the results from Day 3 or 4 itself. let’s jump into day 4 now. You can see that by day 4 my nails have visibly grown. This is how effective the remedy is. So continue both the steps 1 by 1. Lets move on to Day 7. You can see that my nails have grown a lot more now. My nails look much healthier and whiter than before. You should never forget the cuticle oil. You can apply cuticle oil anytime or any number of times you can. You should always apply cuticle oil before going to bed. Massage for 10 mins everyday to improve blood circulation which in turn will promote nail growth. Now lets move on to the finale day, Day 10. I forgot to tell you guys one thing, Always prepare the soaking solution fresh. Never reuse the solution. Ok so now you can see how long my nails have grown in just 10 days.
