Ex Zombie - Three Weeks After Throwing Away Anti Depressant Medication - Venlafaxine Effexor Part 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbENPO5A674 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hihCOA7huIY This is a video I did when I first attempted to quit Effexor.. it is real and not fake... pretty scary! My Horrible Nightmares - Recorded Live - Effexor Medication Withdrawal & Brain Zaps https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqoV_... Info on not taking Venafaxine and the possible adverse side effects Venlafaxine is a widely used serotonin- and norepinephrine-reuptake inhibitor-type antidepressant that causes serious adverse effects in at least 5% of cases. Serious withdrawal symptoms may occur within hours of cessation or reduction of the usual dosage and may affect motor and coordination skills to such a degree that patients should be explicitly urged either to adhere to a strict medication routine or not to drive a car. Recent clinical evidence about withdrawal symptoms is presented that may indicate incidents in noradrenergic activity irrespective of dosage. Serotonin, Noradrenaline Withdrawal Venlafaxine hydrochloride (Effexor, Dobupal) is a phenylethylamine-derivative antidepressant and anxiolytic agent that acts as a serotonin- and noradrenaline-reuptake inhibitor (SNRI). It is used primarily in major depressive disorder, with labeled uses including generalized anxiety disorder and social phobia. Nonlabeled uses include depressive symptom remission, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and chronic pain syndromes. Most selective serotonin-reuptake inhibitors (SSRI) and SSNRIs are reported to cause serious adverse effects in approximately 5% of patients, according to its manufacturer.[1] Venlafaxine is no exception. Among the adverse effects are a number of withdrawal symptoms that form "discontinuance syndromes," sometimes mistakenly identified with what Sternbach in 1991 proposed as the "serotonin syndrome".[2] Venlafaxine's half-life is only 4 hours. Its primary metabolite, O-desmethylvenlafaxine, has a half-life of 10 hours. In the past 10 years, a number of clinical reports of severe venlafaxine withdrawal symptoms have been published, and for the most part these effects are duly reflected in generally available information. Widely consulted drug information services, such as Medscape DrugInfo, American Hospital Formulary Service Drug Information, and First DataBank, list the following withdrawal symptoms as "serious": agitation, anorexia, anxiety, confusion, impaired coordination, diarrhea, dizziness, dry mouth, dysphoric mood, fasciculation, fatigue, headaches, hypomania, insomnia, nausea, nervousness, nightmares, sensory disturbances (including shock-like electrical sensations), somnolence, sweating, tremor, vertigo, and vomiting. Recent Case Histories: Withdrawal Effects Are Not Dose-Dependent Case 1: Standard Dose. Female, white, age 35, no other pathologies, diagnosed for major depressive disorder with anger attacks. Treated with extended-release venlafaxine 150 mg for 4 months with concurrent psychotherapy, with positive results: Beck's Depression Inventory score reduced from 38 to 14; functionality restored. The patient ran out of medication on a Thursday and could not get in touch with her doctor until the next Monday. On Friday, only 12 hours after the usual time of taking the medication, she felt a noticeable change in mood, dizziness, and nausea. She experienced a sensation in her head as if electrical discharges "popped" and could not concentrate to the extent that she was unable to drive her car back from where she had gone. By Friday evening (18 hours after cessation), the "popping" in her head had become worse and she vomited after dinner. Depression symptoms reappeared acutely, and she could not stop crying. At first, she did not equate these symptoms to the missed dose of venlafaxine, but thought she might have contracted the flu. However, the symptoms continued and intensified over the weekend and only reduced when, on Monday, she started again on venlafaxine. She was inadvertently given the lower dose of 75 mg, which did not quite restore her mood to the previous level, although the "electrical popping" sensation in her head stopped and the nausea was reduced. Withdrawal effects appeared within a day and included headaches, dizziness, and instability, with a sense of losing balance (although she did not actually fall down), sense of sparks and electrical discharges in her head, and intense anxiety. Antidepressant Withdrawal: Challenging My Fear of Greater Suffering

06:14
This video is for educational purposes only and is not intended to treat or diagnose. The opinions expressed are that of the individual in the video and nobody else. Please consult a health care professional for all mental and physical healthcare needs. I, Noah Thomas, have been legally prescribed antidepressants by my medical doctor for the treatment of my diagnosed major depressive disorder. Please SHARE THIS VIDEO if you found it useful or if you know somebody who is suffering and/or feeling alone. Thank you. MY STORY My name is Noah and on May 18 2011, I had a rare reaction to a vaccine called VIVITROL and consequently spiraled into a major, agitated, suicidal depression with depersonalization. I lost 25 lbs in 4 weeks and was in full panic or near panic for 8 weeks straight mixed with the darkest most painful depression I cold have ever imagined. I immediately could not work and had to move in with my parents who along with many siblings and friends had to watch me 24/7 as I was so suicidal. I was eventually hospitalized. Getting through each day seemed truly unbearable and I knew I would surely die. I have been put on many many different SSRI's SNRI's Tricyclics, Mood stabilizers, anti psychotics, holistic meds, acupuncture and even a form of shock therapy called RTMS. I barely saw any improvement in my condition for a full year. It was decided I had treatment resistant depression and I spent nearly every moment in tears. Weeks after starting my newest round of medications (Seroquel & Nortryptaline) as a last ditch effort, I had my blood drawn for possible hormone imbalances and my Testosterone levels came back 200 ng/Dl and 150 ng/Dl. The average 25 year old male has 750 ng/Dl. With this discovery I for the first time had any type of possible explanation as to why I was not getting better and why I might be so so sick. The symptoms of such Low T are very similar to those of major depression. I started Testosterone replacement therapy soon after and have been checking in with the world and documenting my experience with treatment as well as giving my insight and perspective on various topics of mental health. I am blessed to say that I have slowly, over the last 10 months, been improving and becoming more stable which I never thought to be possible. My low T manifested itself in the form of Major depression, anxiety, and depersonalization/ derealization for over a year. Gaining some mental stability back is nothing short of a miracle as I was near death for what felt like forever. I do not consider myself to be totally healed yet but I am closer now then ever before and aim to use what I have been through to help or at least offer support to others in need. I was able to successfully come off my Seroquel and am now tapering off my final antidepressant medication Pamelor.

Taking Control of Anxiety Disorder - Five Kinds of Anxiety

03:59
Find The Effective Treatment For Your Anxiety Disorder http://www.PanicAwayProgram.org Although anxiety is accepted as being a normal and healthy emotion, some people suffer from intense anxiety, which ends up affecting their lives and causing them to keep away from certain situations that they used to be able to deal without difficulty. If you are suffering from anxiety then you should begin on finding an appropriate and effective method of treatment. http://www.PanicAwayProgram.org The first thing you need to do is determining the type of anxiety disorder you suffer from. There are five main types of anxiety disorders: generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and social anxiety disorder. Effective treatments for each anxiety disorder are accessible, and new and enhanced treatments are always becoming available. Non-medication treatments Once you have found out the type of anxiety that you are suffering from you will be able to find the suitable anxiety disorder treatment. Mild anxiety disorders can often be treated relatively simple with relaxation and breathing techniques. Yoga, for instance, is a great type of exercise that can really help with anxiety and related health conditions. This is definitely something that should be tried prior to more serious forms of anxiety disorder treatment. If your anxiety is more severe or constant, then therapy or counseling may become the best option. Cognitive behavioral therapy for one has been confirmed to be very effective in the treatment of all types of anxiety disorder. In this therapy you work one on one with an experienced and qualified mental health professional, who will assist you to deal with your fears in a safe and controlled environment. Over time you will be able to find out the root of your anxiety and from there work towards developing a treatment plan that will lead you to your normal life. You can also select an anxiety disorder treatment plan that involves natural and herbal treatments. Herbal remedies such as valerian root and kava kava have over and over again proven to be effective at treating anxiety disorders and depression. You do need to keep in mind that just because these herbal remedies are natural it does not indicate that you do not still have to be careful. If taken inappropriately, these remedies can actually worsen your anxiety. Hypnotherapy, biofeedback, and acupuncture are other options for anxiety disorder treatment. In order to determine which one is going to work best for you, you need to talk to your doctor. You may need to try a few different methods before you find the one that works best for you and your particular anxiety condition. Medications for anxiety disorder Generally, most treatments for anxiety disorders include at least one prescription medication. If you start taking medication as a treatment for anxiety disorder, it is important to understand that this should not be a long-term solution and you should keep working with a certified mental health professional in order to determine the root cause of your anxiety. There are several common medications for anxiety disorder and one of them is selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. Serotonin is known as the brain's all-natural happy drug. Scientists believe that a lack of serotonin is the source of depression, anxiety, and panic attacks and therefore the purpose of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors is to increase the levels of serotonin in the brain. Some familiar brands that use selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors are Prozac and Zoloft. Benzodiazepines are another choice of medication, which act like minor tranquilizers. They decelerate the body's nervous system, giving it an all-over calm. These types of medications can be addictive, so they should only be taken as prescribed. Some well-known brand names are Xanax and Valium. Another medication that is used to treat anxiety disorder is antidepressants, which affect the neurotransmitters in the brain. Effexor is a good example of this type of anxiety disorder medication. Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) are very strong antidepressant drugs that should only be taken as a last resort after all other treatments have been tried. These drugs can be lethal when combined with certain other drugs and foods. One thing that need to be noted, anyone who takes antidepressants may become more susceptible to suicide, especially when they first begin to take them or when the dosage is changed.

Zoloft Compensation|★Best Zoloft Lawyer★|Zoloft Lawsuit Info Go Here ➽➽ http://zoloftattorneys.net Did you take Zoloft, also known generically as Lustral or Sertraline Hydrochloride during pregnancy? Do you believe that you or your baby were effected as a consequence? It is important to know that you are not alone. There are a large group of mothers and family members who are preparing lawsuits against the Pharmaceutical company Pfizer, the maker of this Anti Depressant. During the 1990s, concerns emerged that the drug led to increased thoughts of suicide and violent behavior. Pfizer faced lawsuits over increased suicide risks. Use of the prescription drug became an issue in a high-profile murder case involving a South Carolina teen. In 1999, a Zoloft lawsuit gained media attention when a Zoloft user, Brynn Hartman killed her husband, comedian Phil Hartman, and then killed herself. The lawsuit on behalf of Mr. Hartman's estate alleged that Mrs. Hartman's Zoloft use caused her to engage in violent behavior and take her husband's life. The lawsuit alleged Pfizer did not adequately warn Mrs. Hartman of Zoloft's side effects. Pfizer settled the lawsuit with the estate for an undisclosed amount. Zoloft Compensation|Best Zoloft Lawyer|Zoloft Lawsuit Info Hundreds Zoloft birth defect lawsuits have been filed, and the numbers keep growing. In June 2012, 38 Plaintiffs filed a lawsuit claiming the SSRI antidepressant Zoloft caused birth defects in their newborns. Their lawsuit alleges that Pfizer, the drug's manufacturer, failed to properly warn consumers and medical professionals about Zoloft's potential harm on developing fetuses. The Plaintiffs further accuse Pfizer of actually marketing Zoloft to pregnant women, ignoring evidence of congenital abnormalities demonstrated in clinical trials. The initial warning concerning Zoloft and its link to birth defects was issued in 2006 by the FDA. This made potential consumers and the medical community aware of the dangers and elevated risk of high blood pressure in infants of mothers who used Zoloft while pregnant. The expansion of the Zoloft lawsuit MDL regarding Zoloft birth defects continues. It was created in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in April 2012. To date, there are approximately 250 Zoloft birth defect lawsuits pending in the MDL, all of which were brought on behalf of children who were born with severe congenital abnormalities after their mothers took Zoloft during pregnancy. This warning raised concern about using Zoloft and other antidepressants and these possible pregnancy side effects. At that time, advocacy groups began to urge those with children suffering from Zoloft birth defects to find a Zoloft lawsuit attorney with experience in Zoloft birth defects lawsuits for sound and helpful advice. Concern continued to increase after more studies have been done about the link between SSRI antidepressants like Zoloft, Paxil, Celexa, Lexapro and Prozac and birth defects. It was noted in 2010 in the American Journal of Nursing that it is highly likely that the child of a mother using Zoloft or other antidepressants will suffer from very dangerous and potentially fatal heart defects. There are many other injuries that are associated with the drug. Part 2 - When Life Goes Dark - Dr. Richard Winter - Host, Dr. Freda Crews

28:30
Depression strikes millions, across all ages and demographic groups. Approximately one in eight will have a severe depressive episode at some point in their life. Women experience depression twice as often as men. And over fifty percent of people with serious depression do not get adequate help. What can be done? Psychiatrist and theologian Richard Winter explores the complex medical and psychological issues surrounding depression. He sorts through recent scientific research on its biochemical and genetic causes and examines social and cultural factors. Winter also dispels common Christian misunderstandings of depression and looks at how biblical characters experienced severe despair. Throughout he offers ways to help the suffering. Even in the shadow of the valley of death, there is hope for healing and deliverance. Part 2 of 3
