Quetiapine (Seroquel): What You Need To Know

Quetiapine is a second-generation (atypical) antipsychotic. It’s approved by the FDA for schizophrenia, acute bipolar mania/mixed and depression, and bipolar maintenance (as an add-on to lithium or divalproex). The extended-release form is also approved as an add-on for depression. Though its approved uses are limited, it’s widely used off-label as a single therapy for depression, anxiety, insomnia, OCD, and other conditions. Seroquel Serious Side Effects

08:58
I was prescribed Seroquel for Anxiety as well as a possible mood disorder. I had HORRIBLE side effects from Seroquel. I gained over 10 pounds in a week, felt like I had the flu constantly, had horrible headaches, felt like my blood sugar was out of whack, super sleepy but couldn't sleep still, joint pain and swelling, and numbness with tingling in my feet. Then, I woke up to find my face swollen along with 3+ pitting edema in both legs. The Doctor had me stop the Seroquel instantly without weaning down and didn't have me on anything for 3.5 weeks. I felt crazier than I have ever felt in my entire life. I keep on fighting and I know that any of you going through any sort of mental illness can do so too!

My Seroquel Taper: Start to Finish (What You Might Expect)

This video is for educational purposes only and is not intended to treat or diagnose. The opinions expressed are that of the individual in the video and nobody else. Please consult a health care professional for all mental and physical healthcare needs. Please SHARE THIS VIDEO if you found it useful or if you know somebody who is suffering and/or feeling alone. Thank you. IN THIS VIDEO I DISCUSS MY EXPERIENCE COMING COMPLETELY OFF OR SEROQUEL THAT WAS LEGALY PRESCRIBED BY MY MEDICAL DOCTOR FOR MY MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS OF DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY. MY STORY: My name is Noah and on May 18 2011, I had a rare reaction to a vaccine called VIVITROL and consequently spiraled into a major, agitated, suicidal depression with depersonalization. I lost 25 lbs in 4 weeks and was in full panic or near panic for 8 weeks straight mixed with the darkest most painful depression I cold have ever imagined. I immediately could not work and had to move in with my parents who along with many siblings and friends had to watch me 24/7 as I was so suicidal. I was eventually hospitalized. Getting through each day seemed truly unbearable and I knew I would surely die. I have been put on many many different SSRI's SNRI's Tricyclics, Mood stabilizers, anti psychotics, holistic meds, acupuncture and even a form of shock therapy called RTMS. I barely saw any improvement in my condition for a full year. It was decided I had treatment resistant depression and I spent nearly every moment in tears. Weeks after starting my newest round of medications (Seroquel & Nortryptaline) as a last ditch effort, I had my blood drawn for possible hormone imbalances and my Testosterone levels came back 200 ng/Dl and 150 ng/Dl. The average 25 year old male has 750 ng/Dl. With this discovery I for the first time had any type of possible explanation as to why I was not getting better and why I might be so so sick. The symptoms of such Low T are very similar to those of major depression. I started Testosterone replacement therapy soon after and have been checking in with the world and documenting my experience with treatment. I am blessed to say that I have slowly over the last 8 months been improving and becoming more stable which I never thought to be possible. My low T manifested itself in the form of Major depression, anxiety, and depersonalization/ derealization for over a year. I am glad to report that I have experienced improvements in all areas and that is a miracle. I do not consider myself to be totally healed yet but I am closer now then ever before and aim to use what I have been through to help or at least offer support to others in need.

Abilify: A Drug That Will Push Into CRAZY ZONE

12:19
Learn more about Abilify dangers here: https://www.levinlaw.com/abilify-lawsuit-lawyer Anyone who has ever dealt with a mental disorder, either personally or cared for someone suffering with one, knows that treatment of these conditions is incredibly difficult. And when you’re dealing with mental health, one of the worst possible outcomes of treatment is when it makes the condition worse, or causes side effects that are nearly equal to the condition they are designed to treat. And that appears to be the case with a medication called Abilify. Mike Papantonio discusses the dangers of this drug with attorney Chris Paulos. Learn more about Chris Paulos here: https://www.levinlaw.com/attorney-profiles/chris-paulos Statistics show that about 1 out of 5 American citizens suffer from some form of mental illness each year. These illnesses run the gamut from depression to Tourette’s syndrome. And with a market of more than 42 million people a year as their potential clients, Big Pharma hasn’t wasted any time creating countless pills they claim will help solve your mental health problems. There are plenty of medications available that do provide relief for people suffering from mental health problems, but there are also a wide variety of pills that have had their efficacy overstated by drug companies who were just trying to cash in on the latest blockbuster market that has opened up. Abilify is an anti-psychotic medication manufactured and marketed by Otsuka Pharmaceutical and Bristol Meyers Squibb. Its used in the treatment of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, Tourette’s syndrome, autism and depression. It’s intended to help decrease hallucinations, disorganized thinking, mood swings, depressive thoughts and tics. It's not approved to treat symptoms related to dementia, and can increase the risk of death in patients suffering from dementia. There are numerous lawsuits pending involving their anti-psychotic medication Abilify that clearly show the drug can cause impulse issues in adults, such as chaotic gambling, shopping, binge eating and hypersexuality. And with every one of those issues comes an entirely new set of problems for the people taking it. There have been reports of people losing everything by gambling away their homes, cars, and retirement funds due to the effects of Abilify. People are wrecking their home lives because of the side effects of abilify. What is so remarkable of all that is that the science appears to be absolutely solid that abilify is at the heart of the problem. According to the lawsuits that have been filed against Otsuka and Bristol Meyers Squibb, the company was fully aware of how their medication adversely effected a person’s impulse control and they completely failed to warn the public about these dangers. Documents point to the fact that the company had plenty information to show the problems here with the side effects related to abilify. They over-sold the effectiveness of the drug because and kept quiet about the risks because they wanted a piece of the 42 million customer market. And they were wildly successful. In 2014, Abilify was one of the best-selling medications in the United States, bringing in more than $7 billion for Big Pharma. In spite of all the dangers that have been emerging in the public arena with this medication for more than 4 years, juvenile detention centers have been spending hundreds of thousands of dollars each year buying stockpiles of Abilify so they can medicate juvenile delinquents instead of rehabilitating them. And these drugs are only increasing the frequency of the very behaviors that landed these children in trouble in the first place.

How to Get Disability Benefits for Depression or Bi-Polar Disorder

05:50
http://www.disabilitydenials.com/bipolar-disorder-disability.html http://www.disabilitydenials.com/depression-disability.html In this video Marc Whitehead, Board Certified Disability Attorney, discusses how someone can receive disability benefits for depression or Bi-Polar Disorder. Similar to physical disabilities not everyone with depression qualifies for disability benefits, yet sever depression can significantly interfere with a persons daily activities and the ability to work. Depression is one of the leading causes of disability world wide. Disability claims based on depression are routinely challenged by insurance companies, Social Security Administration and The Department of Veterans Affairs. If this has been your experience, it may be time to seek legal help in order to prove you are indeed disabled. Depression is not a sign of personal weakness, it is a real mental illness with real causes. The cause may be due to Chemistry, Biology, life experiences, disorders of the brain caused by chemical imbalance, genetics, emotional/physical trauma or a hormone imbalance. Depression can also co exist with a painful medical condition or as a reaction to the condition. There are different forms of depression disorders including major depression, dysthymic disorder, minor depression and bipolar disorder. Symptoms of depression and the severity of each symptom will vary between persons. Depression is an illness that affects the whole person. People who suffer from depression have trouble concentrating, sleeping or eating and have lost interest in taking care of their daily activities. They may also exhibit- avoidance of people, refound grief, and a lack of energy. SSD & Depression: To win SSD for depression you need to prove one thing: That your depression is sever enough to stop you from working. To determine a persons eligibility for benefits the SSA adheres to their Listings of Impairments. The Listing for depression is found under Mental Disorders. If your condition is sever enough to satisfy these requirements, you'll be considered disabled by the SSA. The SSA will need medical evidence to support your exact limitations. This means that they will wanna see medical records and psychiatric records from doctors psychiatrists, physiologists, mental health clinics or other health facilities where you received treatment. VA & Depression: Depression disordered are often endured by Veterans would have lived through the emotional stress of War, the death or injury of fellow soldiers and comrades, living through unbearable conditions or struggling with their own physical injuries or disorders. Veterans Disability benefits are based on the establishment of a service connected impairment. Disability ratings are assigned based on the severity of the impairment or combination of impairments. To arrive at a rating the VA relies on the VA schedule for rating disabilities. Depression is listed under Mental Disorders and further identified as a mood disorder. VA disability payments are then awarded based on this assessment. Depressive disorders may begin because of experiences or injuries the Veteran had while in service. Traumatic brain injury is frequently responsible for the onset of depression. Depressive illness may be closely related to other service connected disorders, such as PTSD. LTD & Depression: You may also be able to clam disability benefits through your LTD insurance for your depression. Whether you have LTD insurance privately or through your employer, it's the insurance carrier who will process the claim. It has become routine practice for many insurance companies to deny legitimate claims for depression or to devalue these claims. Insurance claims for depression disability present their own unique set of challenges- like insurers stating that the disability is not sever enough to qualify for disability. Symptoms of depression are emotional and abstract, sometimes with highs and lows which makes it difficult to measure its severity. This then allows for insurers to claim you do not meet their definition of disability. Most insurance companies have a clause that states mental disorders as mental nervous for which the benefit pay period is limited to only two years. In their attempt to reduce payment periods your insurer may try to award benefits only for depression under the mental nervous condition clause with no separate recognition of the physical disability. side effects of depakote | How I dealt with the depakote side effects

03:07
http://melindacurle.com/2013/09/28/addressing-the-causes-of-seizures-naturally/ My name is Melinda Curle. I was on Depakote throughout my teen age years. I would say that the side effects of Depakote were subtle. However, it is important to realize that I started slowly on anticonvulsants and increased my dosage over about two years. My body adjusted and the side effect of Depakote on me was mainly lethargy and responding slowly. My family noticed that I responded slower than the other siblings, but never said anything to me until my medication was switched and they thought I could handle the opinion that I was "slower." Side effects of Depakote on other people will vary and it is good to check with your doctors about them. Not everyone will want to deal with the side effects of Depakote. I certainly didn't. There were some things that improved my quality of life while I was on Depakote. I was a swimmer and getting extra exercise did seem to lessen the side effects of Depakote. Another thing that helped was that I didn't eat a ton of junk food. My parents just didn't have much around the house. The Depakote side effects were minimized by a healthier lifestyle. You can help your body expel toxins and improve your side effects of Depakote with a healthy clay detox bath, some deep breathing exerises and eliminated processed foods from your diet. 0:01 side effects of Depakote video begins 0:05 learn about my side effects from Depakote 1:00 Check out my blog for more on the side effects of Depakote Here is the link to my blog to learn more about the side effects of Depakote - http://melindacurle.com/2013/09/28/addressing-the-causes-of-seizures-naturally/

ABILIFY® Aripiprazole‎ 1 Week Review + Side Effects

04:08
Don't forget to leave a like! Note: What I meant to say in the video is LISTEN TO YOUR DOCTOR, BUT do NOT take his advice to heart. Listen to yourself, your body, and your mind. Tell your doctor what is happening and keep in mind that he gets paid a lot no matter what he says. Also always get a second opinion. The more opinions/advice you have, the easier it will be for you to decide what is right for you. Aripiprazole, sold under the brand name Abilify among others, is an atypical antipsychotic. It is recommended and primarily used in the treatment of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.[5] Other uses include as an add-on treatment in major depressive disorder, tic disorders, and irritability associated with autism.[6] According to a Cochrane review, evidence for the oral form in schizophrenia is not sufficient to determine effects on general functioning.[7] Additionally, because many people dropped out of the medication trials before they were completed, the overall strength of the conclusions is low.[7] Side effects include neuroleptic malignant syndrome, a movement disorder known as tardive dyskinesia, and high blood sugar in those with diabetes.[5] In the elderly there is an increased risk of death.[5] It is thus not recommended for use in those with psychosis due to dementia.[5] It is pregnancy category C in the United States and category C in Australia, meaning there is possible evidence of harm to the fetus.[5][8] It is not recommended for women who are breastfeeding.[5] It is unclear whether it is safe or effective in people less than 18 years old.[5] It is a partial dopamine agonist. Aripiprazole was developed by Otsuka in Japan. In the United States, Otsuka America markets it jointly with Bristol-Myers Squibb. From April 2013 to March 2014, sales of Abilify amounted to almost $6.9 billion.[9] POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS: Dizziness, lightheadedness, drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, tiredness, excess saliva/drooling, blurred vision, weight gain, constipation, headache, and trouble sleeping may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

How Overdose Kills

04:22
If you or a loved one are struggling with addiction call (888) 820 5366 Each day in our nation, 129 people die from drug overdoses. A little over 20% of these are from heroin use and another 40% are from prescription painkillers, many of which are opiate-derived. Every year, as reported by the Centers fro Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 47,055 deaths are reported as “drug-induced”. Hundreds of thousands more are treated by paramedics or are hospitalized every year from “non-fatal” drug overdoses, many of which result in permanent brain damage or partial paralysis. The cost of substance abuse is so steep, from death and extreme physical harm to heartbroken families and damaged relationships, not to mention the expense of medical care. Yet, addiction still has control over the lives of millions of Americans today. During an overdose, the body begins to shut down due to a lack of oxygen, which is caused by decreased respiration – this can be a result of the sedative effects of the drug or from a blocked airway. “As the oxygenation level drops in their body, their heart will start to slow down, and all their systems will start to shut down one by one,” explains Gina, a member of the nursing staff at Best Drug Rehabilitation. “You’re going to have brain damage, then the cardiac starts, and that’s when a person can die.” Overdoses don’t always result in death, but it is a very urgent matter of getting medical attention as soon as possible, and even then there might not be anything that can be done. “They can die with overdose, let’s not confuse that fact,” Gina continues. “But they also can be brought back. There are substances like Narcan, it can be reversed, but it is also time sensitive. Not everybody is going to die, but every time they do overdose, they are causing body damage that sometimes is not replaceable or sometimes is going to take a long time to heal.” “I remember sticking the needle in my arm, and that was it,” says Ben M., a patient at BDR. “I don’t even remember pushing the drugs into my arm, I just remember waking up with people slapping and screaming at me”. Before coming to our recovery center, Ben had travelled a very hard road. He had become homeless due to his heroin addiction. His thought processes had become so warped by his addiction that it didn’t bother him that he had come so close to dying so many times, including wrecking a car into a tree at 120 mph. “They told me right there at the hospital ‘You know, since you’re homeless, this is the fastest recovery time that you can get.’” Ben recalls. “‘If you just get it amputated, you won’t have to deal with the infection or anything like that.’ And so that’s what I went with. Cause all I really cared about at the time was getting high. I didn’t even care that I lost my leg.” When I woke up, I had no clue what had happened - no recollection whatsoever,” admits Kathryn M., another patient at Best Drug Rehabilitation. “I thought I had gotten into a car accident or something. You never think it’s going to happen to you, but it happened to me.” She was lucky enough to be found after her overdose with enough time to save her life, but it was very close. “I vomited and it went into my lungs. My dad found me about five hours later. They immediately rushed me to the emergency room, when I got there, they put me on a drip of Narcan. They intubated me, and they put me in a coma from September 23rd till October 16th.” Without her father’s intervention, Kathryn would not have survived much longer, and would not have made it to our recovery center – she would have ended up as just another statistic. Today, thankfully, she and Ben both have a second chance - an opportunity to build a more positive lifestyle and a better future for themselves and their loved ones. Psychiatric drugs such as antidepressants, antipsychotics and stimulants, have serious, life threatening side effects. International drug regulatory agencies including the FDA warn that these drugs can and do cause worsening depression, mania, aggression, psychosis, depersonalization, diabetes, hallucinations, suicidal and homicidal thoughts, heart attack, stroke and sudden death. The public are not being told or warned about these psychiatric drug side effects. CBD Oil Side Effects Warning (Do Not Buy CBD Until You See This)

01:45
3 simple tips to follow before buying: 1. Always check the CBD purity, it should be 50% and more. 2. Choose products made in the US or Canada. Due to strict regulations this is your quality guarantee. 3. Do not expect to purchase quality and safe to use CBD oil for pennies. High quality CBD oil should cost at least $45-$50. Choose another product if that amount puts you into an uncomfortable situation financially. Brands that I trust and recommend: 1. Verified CBD Oil (http://verifiedcbd.com). This is probably the oldest brand of CBD I know. Tons of success stories and quality I have tested myself - these are the reasons I have been recommending this brand to my friends and family for years. The only downside is that due to their recent TV "fame" they are often out of stock and can be hard to get. Official website: http://verifiedcbd.com Benefits and Side Effects of CBD Oil Cannabidiol, or CBD as it is commonly known, is a very interesting chemical. And it is responsible for many people changing their views on marijuana use for medicinal purposes. While everyone has heard of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), not many are aware of CBD. The two chemicals are both contained in marijuana, but they serve very different purposes. While the THC in marijuana is will get you high, CBD is a chemical with many benefits from a medicinal point of view - and it does not have the same side effects on the body as THC. What are the Health Benefits of CBD Oil? The ingredient CBD has been used for many years to make several products. One of these products is CBD oil. According to many studies which have carried out on this product, there are many different health benefits associated with it. First and foremost, it can help people who are experiencing excessive nausea and vomiting due to chemotherapy or some other type of medical treatment. It is also great at reducing the seizures some people get on a regular basis. Another benefit of CBD oil is how it helps combat inflammation and neuro-degenerative disorders. When Anxiety Makes It Hard to Breath.....MY CURRENT SPIKE

2 weeks ago I woke up with a tight knot in my chest and it has yet to ease up. After nearly having my first panic attack in a long time, I decided to open up about it and ask for some feedback from my viewers. DEPRESSION SCREENING TEST: http://healingfromdepression.com/depression-screening-test.htm My Story My name is Noah and on May 18 2011, I had a rare reaction to a vaccine called VIVITROL and consequently spiraled into a major, agitated, suicidal depression with depersonalization. I started Testosterone replacement therapy soon after and have been checking in with the world and documenting my experience with treatment as well as giving my insight and perspective on various topics of mental health. I am blessed to say that I have slowly, over the last year and 10 months, been improving and becoming more stable which I never thought to be possible. My low T manifested itself in the form of Major depression, anxiety, and depersonalization/ derealization for over a year. Gaining some mental stability back is nothing short of a miracle as I was near death for what felt like forever. I do not consider myself to be totally healed yet but I am closer now then ever before and aim to use what I have been through to help or at least offer support to others in need I was able to successfully come off my Seroquel and Pamelor. Seroquel XR Medication Alternative 1-888-566-8774

01:01
Looking for a Seroquel Medication Alternative? https://ktcpartnership.com/ SEROQUEL XR is a once-daily tablet approved in adults for: (1) add-on treatment to an antidepressant for patients with major depressive disorder (MDD) who did not have an adequate response to antidepressant therapy, (2) acute depressive episodes in bipolar disorder. In the last decade, KETAMINE has been used to treat patients with treatment resistant major depression, bipolar depression, and postpartum depression with a greater than 70% success rate within hours to days (not weeks to months like most oral medications/pills). Important Safety Information About SEROQUEL XR: • Antidepressants (like SEROQUEL XR) have increased the risk of suicidal thoughts and actions in some children, teenagers, and young adults. • Stroke that can lead to death can happen in elderly people with dementia who take medicines like SEROQUEL XR • Stop SEROQUEL XR and call your doctor right away if you have some or all of the following symptoms: high fever, excessive sweating, stiff muscles, confusion, changes in pulse, heart rate, and blood pressure. These may be symptoms of a rare, but very serious and potentially fatal, side effect called neuroleptic malignant syndrome (NMS). • High blood sugar and diabetes have been reported with SEROQUEL. If you develop symptoms of high blood sugar or diabetes, such as excessive thirst or hunger, increased urination, or weakness, contact your doctor. Complications from diabetes can be serious and even life threatening • Increases in triglycerides and in LDL (bad) cholesterol and decreases in HDL (good) cholesterol have been reported with SEROQUEL XR. • Weight gain has been reported with SEROQUEL XR. • Tell your doctor about any movements you cannot control in your face, tongue, or other body parts, as they may be signs of a serious condition called tardive dyskinesia (TD). TD may not go away, even if you stop taking SEROQUEL XR. TD may also start after you stop taking SEROQUEL XR. • Other risks include feeling dizzy or lightheaded upon standing, decreases in white blood cells (which can be fatal), or trouble swallowing. • An eye exam for cataracts is recommended at the beginning of treatment and every 6 months thereafter • Since drowsiness has been reported with SEROQUEL XR, you should not participate in activities such as driving or operating machinery until you know that you can do so safely. Avoid becoming overheated or dehydrated while taking SEROQUEL XR. Do not drink alcohol while taking SEROQUEL XR • Avoid breast-feeding while taking SEROQUEL XR • The most common side effects are drowsiness, dry mouth, constipation, dizziness, increased appetite, upset stomach, weight gain, fatigue, disturbance in speech and language, and stuffy nose. • Do not stop taking SEROQUEL XR without talking to your doctor. Stopping SEROQUEL XR suddenly may cause side effects. • This is not a complete summary of safety information. Far and away the most common experience with KETAMINE infusions (at KETAMINE TREATMENT CENTERS) is to have NO SIDE EFFECTS in between treatments. ALL OF THE ABOVE INFORMATION REGARDING SEROQUEL XR IS TAKEN VERBATIM FROM www.seroquelxr.com KETAMINE is a medicine developed more than 50 years ago for anesthesia during surgery, and has been used for that purpose since that time in children, adults, and animals. More recently, KETAMINE has been found to be a valuable and highly effective treatment for major depression, bipolar depression, postpartum depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and certain pain disorders such as fibromyalgia. KETAMINE TREATMENT CENTERS offers infusions as a simple outpatient procedure. Following a consultation to determine the appropriateness and safety of this treatment, patients are guided each step of the way with the help of a clinical coordinator to ensure a smooth, supportive process. Because the effects of a single infusion are short-lived, patients who show response (70%) will receive a series of infusions over a 2-3 week period. This is an off-label use of KETAMINE, meaning that the FDA has not approved this medication for this use. However, its safety and effectiveness have been demonstrated in multiple research studies, and off-label prescribing is a common and necessary practice in all fields of medicine. https://ktcpartnership.com/ Seroquel XR Medication Alternative 1-888-566-8774

St. Petersburg Times Reports on Zyprexa

02:46
A risky drug may get wider market The FDA may approve Zyprexa for kids, despite its significant side effects in adult use. By ROBERT FARLEY, Times Staff Writer Published December 16, 2007 It sounds like a cosmic, FDA joke: The Food and Drug Administration approves the antipsychotic drug Zyprexa to treat adults with schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. It becomes a market wonder, a bestseller. But the side effects turn out to be dangerous; some patients develop diabetes. Some 30,000 people sue the manufacturer, Eli Lilly. The pharmaceutical giant shells out more than $1-billion to settle the cases. Here comes the punch line: Though studies show that kids are even more susceptible to Zyprexa's dangerous side effects, now Lilly wants the government's seal of approval for adolescents to use it. And the FDA is about to say yes. * * * Like a mounted animal head hung as a trophy from the hunt, a framed copy of a $2.8-million check from Bayer pharmaceutical hangs in the law office of Joseph Saunders. The check says: It's my business to sue drug companies, and I'm good at it. Saunders practices in Pinellas Park, but hundreds of lawyers like him across the country have found a niche suing Lilly. He has eight Zyprexa clients. Most are psychotic. Most suffer from diabetes, which can cause kidney failure, heart disease, liver damage, blindness. They were prescribed Zyprexa during the time doctors swooned over the big new thing. Approved by the FDA in 1996, Zyprexa was one of a new class of drugs called atypicals, marketed as powerfully effective for people suffering the dreadful psychotic breaks of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. And -- this was key -- the new drugs were less likely to cause the tremors and facial tics that sometimes accompanied older drugs. Zyprexa was deemed so safe, doctors began prescribing it "off-label" to treat depression, anxiety, ADHD, even sleeplessness. As it turned out, studies would show that Zyprexa may be the most effective of the new class of antipsychotic drugs, but it's also most likely to cause serious weight gain and elevated blood sugar levels. Saunders says you can't win a lawsuit against a drug company just because you suffer a side effect. But pharmaceuticals do have a legal responsibility to warn doctors about known risks. The tens of thousands of lawsuits contend that Lilly did not fully disclose risks it discovered during studies conducted to get FDA approval for Zyprexa, risks that became more apparent in the years after the drug hit the market.

FDA Approves Generic Plavix Despite Serious Side Effects - Attorney Michael Werner Explains

http://www.yourlawyer.com/topics/overview/Plavix-Cerebral-Gastrointestinal-Bleeding-Hemorrhaging-Lawsuit-Lawyer Attorney Michael Werner of Parker Waichman talks about how some generic drugs can cause just as many side effects as their original version. Every year, many generic versions of popular prescription drugs come onto the market. What many people do not know is that these generic drugs are not coming at with an improved or updated version. The generic drug is simply just cheaper, but can still have many of the same adverse side effects as the original. Take for example the prescription drug Plavix. This blood thinner is used to prevent strokes and heart attacks but reports show that it is linked to gastrointestinal and cerebral bleeding events. The generic version of Plavix would cause this same harm and you need to know what type of risks you're subjecting your body to. Watch this video now to learn more. I Pigged Out on Vegetables, Cut Salt, and Lost Weight on Seroquel

02:22
Well, let me share a surprise. I'm still eating gluten-free, and cutting the carbs, though my body needs carbs, so I eat gluten-free whole grains like brown rice and brown rice pasta. I got addicted to a movie last night, which always means late night snacking for me, because I can't stand going to bed on an empty stomach. I ended up PIGGING OUT on vegetables (stir-fried cabbage, turnip greens, celery and shiitake or forest mushrooms in a small amount of olive oil). I expected the scales to show weight gain this morning and I actually LOST WEIGHT. Another thing I did was to avoid the salt shaker. It appears that pigging out on raw or nearly raw vegetables, and not using the salt shaker causes weight loss. I did have some carbs, but not much. I'm still gluten-free. Ever since I've been in Seroquel, I've had to battle weight gain. But eating mostly fruits and vegetables and minimal carbs and avoiding animal fat and keeping it low sodium seems to be the key to maintaining a healthy weight on Seroquel. I love to eat, so I could never starve myself. I have also increased my exercise to about 30 to 45 minutes a day every day of the week, and try to make sure at least 3 of the work outs raise my heart rate.

Canine Congestive Heart Failure

03:52
This is my Boxer, Bing. What you're seeing are classic symptoms of Congestive Heart Failure. If your dog is breathing very laboriously, retching, and coughing up fluid either clear or pink (blood in fluid), then it probably has CHF. Get your dog to a Vet ASAP! This condition, though not curable, is definitely TREATABLE! If your dog is breathing like this, then it likely has water in his lungs and around his heart - he is drowning to death. Your vet will give a diuretic injection to get rid of all the fluid. He will also prescribe a blood pressure medication. Also, there is a new "miracle drug" called Vetmedin which will give your dog his quality of life back to him. Cannot stress enough that you need to get to a Vet ASAP as your dog is dying before your eyes.

I Noah Thomas, the creator of this channel, have been diagnosed hypogonadism by a medical doctor and legally prescribed the medically indicated treatment of Testosterone Replacement Therapy. My Story My name is Noah and on May 18 2011, I had a rare reaction to a medication called VIVITROL and consequently, spiraled into a suicidal depression with depersonalization and anxiety. I lost 25 lbs in 4 weeks and was in full panic or near panic for 8 weeks straight mixed with the darkest most painful depression I cold have ever imagined. I immediately could not work and had to move in with my parents who, along with many siblings and friends, had to watch me 24/7 as I was a danger to myself. Eventually I was hospitalized in the Psych Ward for a week. Getting through each day seemed truly unbearable and I knew I would surely die. I have been put on many many different doctor prescribed SSRI's SNRI's Tricyclics, mood stabilizers, anti-psychotics, holistic meds, acupuncture and even a form of shock therapy called RTMS. With this discovery I had an explanation as to why I was not getting better and why I might be so so sick. The symptoms of Low T are very similar to those of major depression. I started legally prescribed testosterone replacement therapy soon after and have been checking in with the world and documenting my experience with treatment as well as giving my insight and perspective on various topics of mental health. I am blessed to say that I have slowly, over the last 6 years, been improving and becoming more stable which I never thought to be possible. My low T manifested itself in the form of Major depression, anxiety, and depersonalization/ derealization for over a year. Treating my low testosterone has been 1 HUGE part of the puzzle but I have had to continue to work hard to hold on to my mental stability with many set backs. I work out all the time as a part of my mental health recovery!!! Weight training and all kinds of cardio rule much of my free time and I also share this on my channel.
