10 Serious Lack Of Vitamin D Warning Signs

03:47
Muscle weakness is usually caused by a Vitamin D deficiency. Muscles have Vitamin D receptors. They must have a constant supply of Vitamin D to function. If your body has a deficiency of Vitamin D, your muscles will have trouble functioning. Bone Pain Shunning the sun and being lactose intolerant can leave you with a deficiency of Vitamin D. This can lead to bone pain, which can be difficult to distinguish from muscle or joint pain, but generally manifests as a deep, full pain that can't be isolated to an exact area. Constant Respiratory Problems Studies show that Vitamin D may help defend against respiratory illness. This is especially true in children. If your child has severe asthma, you may want to increase their Vitamin D intake. Sweaty Head Years ago, doctors used to ask new mothers if their newborns' heads were sweating more than normal. This is apparently a very early sign that a baby is Vitamin D deficient. If you're breastfeeding, you'll need to increase your sun exposure or consume more foods rich in Vitamin D. Depression According to the Vitamin D Council, this essential nutrient helps your brain's neurotransmitters produce the fluid serotonin. This produces our feelings of happiness. Studies have linked low levels of Vitamin D with episodes of depression. This happens especially during the winter months, because of the lack of sun during that time of year. Chronic Infections The Mayo Clinic has advised that Vitamin D is crucial to our body's health. It is a necessary vitamin in helping our body fight infections. If you notice you or your child is prone to getting infections, you might want to ask your doctor to give you a Vitamin D blood test. Cardiovascular Disease Articles published by the National Institutes of Health have shown that deficiencies in Vitamin D can lead to congestive heart failure. Make sure your body maintains the proper amounts to guard against the risk. Home tests are available to check if you have a lack of Vitamin D. Psoriasis Although psoriasis is not always caused by a lack of Vitamin D, it's used in treatment. The Mayo Clinic claims that if you have a lack of Vitamin D it will be harder for your body to defend itself against psoriasis. Chronic Pain Studies have shown that low Vitamin D levels impact a person's chances of having chronic pain. People with darker skin are more prone to these effects, because they need more sun exposure to actually absorb any Vitamin D. Tiredness Vitamin D is one of the necessary vitamins for your body to create energy. Without it you can end up feeling tired most of the day. This will make it hard for you to get around or even get to work. You should consult your doctor if you have constant feelings of tiredness. Hypertension Harvard University conducted a study on women. The study showed that women with low levels of Vitamin D have a 67 percent increased risk of hypertension. If you suffer from anxiety, you may want to consider purchasing Vitamin D supplements and adding them to your daily routine. Crankiness Vitamin D also affects the levels of serotonin in your brain, which is what impacts your mood. If you're feeling cranky, it might be because you're not producing enough serotonin!

How to Stop Leg Muscle Cramps

04:19
Legs seem to have a mind of their own. Who hasn’t been ready to slip off to dream world when suddenly your legs begin to contract and cramp? Strangely, they don’t seem to cramp during the day. These nocturnal cramps are common and can prevent a good night’s sleep. They can also generate pain in the feet, calves and thighs. Cramps last anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes. Occasionally, they last for days. In today’s video, we’ll explore ways to prevent leg cramps. The 3 major causes of leg cramps are: - Lack of exercise - Dehydration - Poor blood flow Let’s look at a few ways to prevent leg cramps: Magnesium deficiency Magnesium is an all-purpose mineral and works wonders in alleviating leg cramps. To add magnesium to your diet, eat plenty of dark leafy greens, bananas and dates. Other magnesium-rich foods include pumpkin seeds, yogurt, and dark chocolate. Another way to add magnesium is to use its oil form. Simply massage on your legs before turning in for the night. Make Your Own Magnesium Oil Ingredients ½ cup Magnesium Chloride Flakes; ½ cup distilled water; Directions Pour water into a pan and bring to a boil; Add magnesium flakes; Stir continuously until they are dissolved; Remove from heat and cool; Pour mixture into a spray bottle; Apply 5 – 10 sprays to each leg one hour prior to bedtime. Get Your Daily Dose of Vitamin D If you are eating healthy and drinking enough water and still have leg cramps, you may have a Vitamin D deficiency. Vitamin D is what prompts the body to properly absorb calcium. Without enough vitamin D, the calcium isn’t able to balance fluids in your body. One source of vitamin D is exposure to the sun. Another way is to eat seafood. Still one more way is to simply take a supplement. Stretching Exercises Performing a few slow and easy stretches can stimulate blood flow, which will then transport oxygen and vital nutrients throughout your muscles and body. Here’s an easy stretch: Find a small ledge/incline (think – vehicle gas pedal); Rest the ball of your foot on it and allow your heel to touch the floor; Slowly shift your weight forward (pressing the pedal); Hold this position for 2 seconds; Return to starting position and rest for 10 seconds; Repeat 6-8 times on each foot. This exercise should allow you to feel a good stretch. It can stretch calves, which is where most cramps originate. A note of caution; keep the incline low. Perhaps just stack one book on top of another. Otherwise, you will put too much pressure on your calves. Need Instant Relief from Cramps? Try this simple exercise: First, extend your cramped leg straight out in front of you and flex your ankles Point toes up, toward your knee Grab your toes for a good stretch Stand up straight and take a few slow steps to increase blood flow Massage your calves with your fingers, in a circular motion. Electrolyte Imbalance If you aren’t drinking enough water, you may have an electrolyte imbalance. Here’s an easy recipe to make your own effective electrolyte beverage. Ingredients 1 quart of water; 6 tsps sugar (or ¼ cup organic honey); ¼ to ½ tsp unionized sea salt; Juice from one lemon; 2 limes; Add a few cubes of ice and enjoy this drink daily. 11 Signs Your Body Needs More Magnesium

03:49
Magnesium is a mineral found in many types of foods, it plays an essential role in human DNA production, repair and in maintaining healthy bones, nerves and muscles. Though it is readily available, most Americans do not meet their need for magnesium through their diet. you should consider getting your magnesium level checked if you suffer the following 11 symptoms. 1. Low energy. Magnesium is involved in at least 300 different chemical reactions in our body, and a lot have to do with energy production. A sign of low magnesium can be low energy. 2.Insomnia. If you're having a hard time falling or staying asleep, it may be due to low levels of magnesium, particularly if you are experiencing a lot of stress. Stress hormones increase blood pressure and heart rate, this is partly accomplished by depleting the body of its magnesium If there isn't enough magnesium available for the body to replenish itself, sleeping becomes a problem. 3.Constipation. Bowel movements often slow down without enough magnesium in the body. note that magnesium is the main ingredient in many over-the-counter laxatives. 4.Frequent headaches. Magnesium deficiency lowers serotonin levels, causes blood vessels to constrict and affects neurotransmitter function, all related to headaches -- especially migraines. 50% of migraine sufferers have a magnesium deficiency. 5.Twitching or cramping. Because magnesium plays an important role in muscle relaxation, insufficient intake can result in unintended muscle movement. Without magnesium, our muscles would be in a constant state of contraction 6.Low bone density. Magnesium plays a major role in bone formation, and the majority of the body's magnesium is stored in the bones. People with higher intakes of magnesium have a higher bone mineral density. 7.High blood pressure. Magnesium is very important in maintaining a healthy blood pressure, a deficiency can definitely cause pressure to be too high. Eating foods high in magnesium and other minerals can help prevent high blood pressure in people with prehypertension. 8.Type 2 diabetes. Breaking down blood sugars is another of magnesium's jobs in the human body. People with higher amounts of magnesium in their diets tend to have a lower risk of developing diabetes. Research is ongoing to determine whether magnesium therapy can be used in diabetes treatment. 9.Irregular heartbeat. With low magnesium levels, the heart can have trouble staying in its regular rhythm. doctors will often prescribe magnesium supplements for patients who complain of an irregular heartbeat. 10.Increased sensitivity to noise. Not having enough magnesium curtails its role in stabilizing the nervous system, This often results in hyperflexia, an enhanced startle reflex. And 11. Depression and anxiety. Low levels of magnesium in the brain can affect neurological functions that result in all sorts of problems. Studies have shown that some phobias -- such as agoraphobia -- have developed as a result of low magnesium levels.  Please Subscribe! ▶ https://goo.gl/ksfh7M NOTE: The materials and the information contained on Natural ways channel are provided for general and educational purposes only and do not constitute any legal, medical or other professional advice on any subject matter. 8 Common Diseases Linked To Vitamin D Deficiency | How to Increase Your Vitamin D Levels

03:55
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x75jr1zDgSk The bones need vitamin D because it encourages the use of calcium in the body. It is usually connected with rickets, a disease caused by the deficiency of vitamin D, which results in softening bones and bow legs. But, recently, studies have shown that this vitamin is crucial to the fight against many health issues. Subscribe and watch this video until the end to know the complete information. If you have a vitamin D insufficiency, you’ll feel pain in the bones and muscle weakness. But, often you can feel no pain and yet be subjected to many health risks. Scientists have connected these 8 illnesses with chronic vitamin D insufficiency: 1. Asthma. While the main cause of asthma remains unknown, it is proven that lack of vitamin D has a great part of it. This vitamin decreases the fierceness and predominance of asthma symptoms. Also, it defeats the infections that cause narrowing of the air passage, thus hardening the breathing. 2. High blood pressure. The Journal of Investigative Medicine has published a study that claims that people with hypertension live better with the increased value of vitamin D. Moreover, a marker of this vitamin is known to balance the inflammation of the blood vessels and other signs of high blood pressure. 3. Gastrointestinal diseases. The deficiency of vitamin D is often connected with some conditions like Crohn’s disease and another disease of the gastrointestinal tract. Studies have shown that the Inflammatory bowel disease rates are higher in the places where the natural exposure to sunlight is lower and vice versa. 4. Viral infections. It is common knowledge that the viral infections are more frequent in winter when the sunlight and ultraviolet B ray’s exposure are at their lowest rate. This, together with a number of studies, indicates that vitamin D increases the immunity and the flu-fighting potential of the body. 5. Type 2 diabetes. A study, published in the journal AIDS, has shown that the symptoms of metabolic syndrome are noticeably worse as the case of HIV when there is a lack of vitamin D in the system. Also, this study has shown that if you expose yourself regularly to the natural sunlight, you will have lower chances to develop diabetes type 2. 6. Dental cavities. It was known for years that the lack of sunlight exposure causes health problems. Recently, scientists have connected the vitamin D deficiency with poor dental health such as dental caries. 7. Rheumatoid arthritis. A study in Canada has shown a connection between vitamin D deficiency and rheumatoid arthritis. People that have the lowest blood levels are the most exposed to this kind of disease. So, if you have this condition, you should expose yourself more to the sunlight. 8. Cancer. Any type of cancer is more eminent with people that have a lack of vitamin D. On the other hand, those who have the optimal level of this vitamin are considerably less likable to develop cancer. Foods that provide vitamin D include. Fatty fish, like tuna, mackerel, and salmon. Foods fortified with vitamin D, like some dairy products, orange juice, soy milk, and cereals. Beef liver. Cheese. Egg yolks. So, these are some foods you can include in your daily diet to increase your vitamin D Values. Thanks for watching. Please like, comment, subscribe and share with your friends and family. ♥ What Causes Poor Blood Flow & Circulation In Your Body

05:15
How I quickly improved my dad’s blood flow and circulation in only 30 days - NO drugs or diets: ►► http://drsam.co/yt/BloodFlowSolution =============================================== What Causes Poor Blood Flow & Circulation =============================================== Today’s question is from Mrs Wilson and she asks, “What really causes poor circulation?” What’s important to know is that poor circulation isn’t a “condition” itself. It’s the result of OTHER health issues. Poor blood flow and circulation is one of the primary causes of a heart attack or stroke. This is because it can lead to Hypertension and high blood pressure Hardening and narrowing of your arteries Higher cholesterol and plaque build up The good news is that this can be reversed and avoided naturally, without prescription medications, crazy diets or exercise. And I’ll reveal to you how in a minute… Because this is exactly the problem my dad has had for many years. In fact, he had a stroke a few years ago and why I’m making this video… To help you avoid the mistakes, pain and suffering that we had to go through. But let’s first talk about... Warning Signs Some of what “warning signs” that you may have circulation problems include2 Frequent pain and cramping in your legs Tingling or numbness in your hands and/or feet Tired, aching or weak legs and feet Slow-healing wounds Thickened toenails Varicose and “spider” veins Cold hands Causes of Poor Circulation There are several different causes of poor circulation1, but here are the top 5: Peripheral artery disease Peripheral artery disease (PAD) can lead to poor circulation in your legs and it generally affects people over the age of 50. PAD is a circulatory condition that causes narrowing of your blood vessels and arteries. Which eventually decreases blood flow to your extremities and can result in pain… but more importantly can cause a heart attack or stroke. Blood clots Blood clots block the flow of blood, either partially or entirely. They can develop almost anywhere in your body… but a blood clot that develops in your arms or legs can lead to circulation problems. Varicose veins Varicose veins are enlarged veins caused by valve failure. They’re most often found on your legs. These damaged veins can’t move blood as efficiently as other veins, so poor circulation can become a problem. Your genes largely determine whether or not you’ll develop varicose veins. Secondary is a change in your hormones due to aging. This is why women are more likely to develop them, especially after menopause… As are people who are overweight or obese. Diabetes You may think diabetes only affects your blood sugar… but it can also cause poor circulation throughout your body. People with advanced diabetes may have difficulty detecting the signs of poor circulation. This is because diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage caused by prolonged exposure to high blood sugar 3) … can cause reduced sensation in your extremities and feel similar to poor circulation. People with diabetes are also at an increased risk for Atherosclerosis high blood pressure heart disease. Obesity Of course, carrying around extra pounds puts a burden on your body. If you’re overweight, sitting or standing for hours, will eventually lead to circulation problems. Being overweight also puts you at an increased risk for many other causes of poor circulation... including diabetes, varicose veins and blood vessel problems. It's free and very enlightening. Dr. Berg talks about twitching under the eyelid. This is called tetany and is a low calcium (hypocalcemia) situation. This is usually because of high cortisol, which dumps acids (H+) in the urine making your body MORE alkaline. Many people look at their urine pH and see it too acid and then start alkalizing themselves, when in fact, they are actually losing acids - a common mistake. Apple Cider Vinegar is the best remedy. 12 Ways Your Body Tries To Tell You That Your Liver Is Being Damaged

04:55
12 Ways Your Body Tries To Tell You That Your Liver Is Being Damaged The liver is the largest solid organ in your body. It is located in the right upper quadrant of your abdomen and partly protected by the ribs. You need your liver for many important bodily functions and cannot live without your liver. For this reason, you should know the early signs of liver damage and take care of your liver as much as you possibly can. There are more than a hundred different kinds of diseases of the liver. Each has its own set of symptoms. Some of these diseases include alcoholic liver disease, hepatitis, fatty liver disease, and cirrhosis of the liver. The early signs of liver disease tend to be easily overlooked and are non-specific, related to any number of different conditions. Here are some common early signs. 1. Upset Stomach You are likely to get nausea and vomiting. They can mimic other diseases, such as migraines, food poisoning, vertigo, motion sickness, early pregnancy, depression and vomiting. It can mimic kidney problems as well. Those who suffer from early liver damage often feel persistently nauseous, because the liver has a decreased ability to rid the body of toxins. The nausea can also be due to ongoing metabolism and changes in digestion. If you have these symptoms for several days and don’t know why, seek the attention of your doctor. 2. Fatigue and Overall Weakness One of the early and obvious signs of liver damage is constantly feeling tired and weak. When the liver is not in great condition, the body must work harder and you will need more rest. This is due to an increase in toxins in the bloodstream that can’t be cleared out because the liver can’t get rid of the toxins properly. If the symptoms persist, especially with other early signs of liver damage, seek medical advice as soon as you can. 3. Lack of Appetite This happens due to a lack of production of bile that helps digest fat in the diet. When food isn’t properly digested, it can lead to a lack of appetite and a severe loss of weight. See your doctor if you experience any of these symptoms for a long period of time. 4. Digestion Problems The liver is important in digestion because it makes bile that helps the nutrients be better processed and absorbed by the small intestines. If the liver is failing, you can develop an increase in indigestion and diarrhea. If the bile is not produced properly, you can also experience irritable bowel syndrome, fatty food intolerance, alcohol intolerance, abdominal bloating, constipation and gallstones. If this becomes severe, you need to seek the medical attention of a doctor. 5. Alterations in the Color of Urine If you think you are drinking enough but still have a dark color of your urine, this may be one of the early signs of liver damage. The urine may look brown, amber, or orange in color because of elevated levels of bilirubin in the bloodstream. The bilirubin is elevated because the liver cannot get rid of the bilirubin and it is excreted through the kidneys. Dark urine may also be due to dehydration, side effects of taking antibiotics, taking B vitamin supplements, urinary tract infections, enzyme deficiencies or kidney abnormalities. The doctor can help sort out the cause of dark urine. 6. Changes in Stool Coloration Because the bile is not made enough by a malfunctioning liver, the color of the stool changes. Instead of being brown, it can become pale yellow, clay colored, or gray in appearance. If this happens periodically, it is not dangerous, but if it happens often, seek the advice of your doctor to check out your liver. https://youtu.be/VOx8ikPmaos

Top 10 Signs And Symptoms Of Magnesium Deficiency In Adults

03:46
Magnesium is an important electrolyte needed for proper muscle, nerve, and enzyme function. Furthermore, magnesium helps the body use energy and is needed to move sodium and potassium into and out of cells. The mineral is also vital for the structural maintenance and development of healthy bones and even plays an important in the production of glutathione, a chemical which has been called the body’s master antioxidant. About 28 percent of American adults consume the recommended daily intake of magnesium, and about 20 percent get only half of the magnesium they need daily to remain healthy. Causes of low magnesium: A poor diet of processed foods, prescription medications, soil depletion, menopause, excessive intake of soda or caffeine, calcium supplements, heavy metals, and a stressful lifestyle can lead to magnesium deficiency (hypomagnesemia). If you are deficient in magnesium, you may notice a broad range of signs and symptoms, including: #1 Anxiety - if you often feel nervous, worried, or uneasy about an uncertain outcome, you should eat more food rich in this mineral. #2 High blood pressure - this essential mineral works partnered with calcium to protect the heart and to support proper blood pressure. Therefore, when you are magnesium-deficient, usually you are also low in calcium and tend toward high blood pressure. #3 Muscle spasms and cramps - magnesium is vital for muscle relaxation. Thus, when you lack magnesium, your muscles can involuntarily contract that can cause painful spasms. #4 Restless legs syndrome(RLS) - it is one of the symptoms of magnesium deficiency. RLS is a neurological condition which causes an overwhelming urge to move the legs. #5 Numbness - since this mineral impacts your nervous system, numbness can be a warning sign of a deficiency, especially as it worsens. #6 Insomnia - a magnesium deficiency is commonly a precursor to sleep disorders, such as hyperactivity, anxiety, and restlessness. #7 Low energy - according to research, too little magnesium makes the body work harder, which ultimately leads to lower energy levels. #8 Clouded thinking - it may result from a lack of magnesium and can be quickly rectified when eating foods high in magnesium. #9 Hyperexcitability – this essential mineral is responsible for the regulation of nerve transmission by inhibiting the release of acetylcholine. When you experience a deficiency in magnesium, the nerve impulses are not inhibited. Hence, there is hyperexcitability of cells. #10 Vomiting and nausea - early signs of magnesium deficiency can include gastrointestinal disturbances., which can lead from a loss of appetite to vomiting and nausea. Note Many of the signs and symptoms of low magnesium are not unique to magnesium deficiency, making it difficult to diagnose with 100 percent accuracy. Therefore, frequently, low magnesium levels go completely unrecognized and untreated. If you don’t want to take a supplement with magnesium and simply want to acquire it through food sources, below is our video about top foods highest in magnesium. Thank you. How to Reduce Swelling in Legs, Feet and Ankles Quickly Due to Fluid Retention and Edema

04:28
How to get rid of swollen legs feet and ankles fast naturally due to fluid retention and edema. Home remedies for swollen feet. Our body can eliminate the excess fluids on its own, through urine, or sweat. However, when its function is affected, the fluid starts accumulating in the tissues, and causes swelling. The swelling is most prominent in legs, feet, ankles, hands, and sometimes even in face. This is known as peripheral edema. There are two types of edema. pitting edema, and non-pitting edema. In pitting edema, an indentation is formed, when pressured is applied on the swollen area. This indentation will persist for sometime, even after the pressure is released. The causes for pitting edema are: Sitting for too long. Congestive heart failure. High intake of Sodium. Deficiency of Potassium and magnesium. Pregnancy. Medication side effects. Wearing tight socks, etc., In non-pitting edema, indentation is not formed when pressure is applied. Non-pitting edema is caused due to disorders in lymphatic system. Non-pitting edema is more serious, and difficult to treat, than pitting edema. Whatever might be the reasons for swelling and fluid retention, you must consult your doctor, immediately. However, there are some home remedies you could take, to reduce swelling in the body. 1. Drink water. Drinking less than the recommended amount of water, which is 6-8 glasses a day, can dehydrate your body, and is very dangerous to your health. In cases of dehydration, the body tries to rehydrate itself, by taking water from different tissues, which may lead to fluid retention and other serious health problems. 2. Reduce the intake of sodium. Sodium is present in almost any of the foods we eat every day, so it’s really hard to avoid. However, consuming too much of it can cause numerous health problems, including fluid retention. 3. Avoid processed foods. Processed foods are rich in sugar and sodium, which are among the main risk factors for fluid retention, and a variety of other diseases and conditions. You must avoid processed foods as much as possible. 4. Eat potassium, and magnesium rich foods. Potassium deficiency has been linked to fluid imbalance, as well as improperly functioning organs. Magnesium is very important for our health, and we need about 200 mg of it a day. In case of these deficiencies, the body will experience fluid retention. So make sure to eat nuts, seeds, whole grains, and avocado, in order to optimize the levels of the minerals in your body. 6. Eat Vitamin B6 rich food. Lack of this vitamin, is one of the main causes of fluid retention. Eat more tuna, pistachios, bananas, chicken, and sunflower seeds, in order to resolve the problem. 7. Exercise. In order to prevent fluid retention, exercise is key. Start being physically active today, in order to keep the levels of fluids in your body regulated, and keep everything functioning properly. Go for a walk, run, or swim, and aim for 30 minutes of exercise per day 3 times a week, or more, if you have the time. 8. Elevate your legs. While sleeping, or resting, elevate your legs with a pillow, to reduce the swelling in your ankles, and prevent accumulation of fluids in your joints. 9. Don't wear tight clothes. Wearing tight clothes can impair your circulation, and cause numerous problems. Also, don't wear socks which are too tight. If you follow these tips, you may steer clear of the condition and stay healthy. About HomeYog: HomeYog is here to help you live life to the fullest. 👌 Does Your Heel Hurt In The Morning Or Whenever You Stand Up? Here’s What You Need To Know

03:40
Plantar fascia may not be a term you hear every day, but it is important when it comes to foot health. According to Healthline, more than 50 percent of Americans suffer from foot pain, and that pain is most commonly associated with damage to the plantar fascia, a thin ligament that connects the heel to the front of your foot. This condition is called plantar fasciitis. Repetitive motion and weight gain are usually the leading culprits when a person develops plantar fasciitis. The condition is common among athletes, pregnant women and those whose work requires long periods of time on their feet, because the constant movement and pressure from added weight leads to inflammation and pain. However, you can take a few actions to prevent and treat plantar fasciitis. TREATMENTS The overall best thing you can do if you suffer from plantar fasciitis is to incorporate effective stretching to help loosen the tight muscles that aggravate the condition. Seated Exercises Seated exercises are both helpful and achievable by most people. Heathline offers the following exercises for seated stretching: Roll your foot over a water bottle or similarly shaped object for one minute per foot. Cross one leg over the other and pull upward on your big toe. Hold this position for 15 seconds, release and repeat three times, before alternating to the other foot. Use a folded towel to mimic an exercise strap. Place the towel under the arch of your foot and gently pull upward so that your foot is stretched in front of you. Hold for 15 to 30 seconds and repeat three times. Calf Stretches Stretching your calves can also promote heel health. Simply extend your leg in a lunge-like movement and hold the position for 30 seconds. Repeat three times per leg. PREVENTION Stretching also works as a preventative for plantar fasciitis, but there are other considerations as well.WebMDsuggests the following options: Maintain a Healthy Weight A healthy weight will ensure that you are not putting unnecessary pressure on your body and especially your feet. Exercise Regularly Regular exercise will help your body stay at a healthy weight and properly stretch muscles and joints. This will reduce the chances of the ligaments in your feet becoming too tight. Ensure Proper Support Shoes are important. Proper support means that your feet are kept in a safe position. Going barefoot or wearing poorly constructed shoes puts added stress on your heels and feet. Take it Easy You should always try to take it easy on your feet. Allow your feet to rest, and alternate between activities so that your heels and feet are not being subjected to repetitive movement for an extended period. Start Slowly Always take time to warm up your body before exercise or other activity. Jumping into excessive movement can lead to injury. Your foot health matters. If you suspect that you are suffering from plantar fasciitis, do not ignore it. Seek medical advice before changing your exercise or diet plan. 6 Unusual Signs of Iron Deficiency

06:21
6 Unusual Signs of Iron Deficiency Iron is a mineral that plays a vital role in health and well-being. Without it, many bodily functions would malfunction. “The primary role of iron is to carry oxygen in the blood to every cell in the body,” says Beth Thayer, RDN, MS, director of the Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit. Iron is an important component of hemoglobin, the protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen from the lungs and transports it throughout the body. If your body doesn't have enough iron, it cannot produce enough healthy oxygen-carrying red blood cells. Iron deficiency can cause anemia, which means you have too little hemoglobin. Women in their childbearing years are at higher risk for iron deficiency because of the loss of blood during menstruation. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the recommended daily dietary allowance for iron for 19-to-50-year-old women is 18 milligrams (mg). Pregnant women should be consuming 27 mg per day. Adult men, on the other hand, need about 8 mg of iron per day. “Women who are pregnant need the most amount of iron,” says Marilyn Murr, MD, clinical assistant professor of family and community medicine at the School of Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. “The baby acts as a parasite taking iron, and the woman increases her blood volume to circulate through the baby and create the baby’s blood volume.” There are two types of iron: heme iron from animal sources and non-heme iron from plant sources. Heme iron is absorbed more readily by the blood. Foods rich in iron include beef, liver, oysters, beans, fortified cereals, and dark leafy greens like spinach. Insufficient iron levels can wreak havoc all over the body. Here are seven surprising signs of iron deficiency. 1. Extreme Fatigue and Exhaustion The principle sign that your body is not getting enough iron may be the most difficult to link to iron deficiency. “This is one of the most common signs of iron deficiency because it means your body is having trouble carrying the oxygen to your cells so it’s affecting your energy levels,” Thayer says. People lacking enough iron in their blood often feel sluggish, weak, and unable to focus. Though fatigue can be the sign of numerous conditions, if it does not go away with adequate rest, consider having your iron levels checked. 2. Frequent Infections Iron plays a key role in a healthy immune system, so lower levels of the mineral can make someone more susceptible to infections. “Red blood cells help to transport oxygen to the spleen, which is one place where infections can be fought off,” Dr. Murr says. Red blood cells also carry oxygen to the lymph nodes, which house infection-fighting white blood cells. “When someone has an iron deficiency, the white blood cells aren’t being produced as well, and they’re not as strong because they’re not getting enough oxygen, making that person more susceptible to infections,” she says. 3. Pale Skin Though it’s not always the case, pale skin is often associated with being sick, and there’s good reason for that. Hemoglobin gives skin its rosy color, so low levels cause the skin to become lighter. “When red blood cells become low with iron, they become smaller and paler in the center so skin also becomes paler,” Murr says. This may be easier to detect in people with lighter complexions, but no matter what your skin tone, if the area inside your bottom eyelid is lighter than normal, this may be a sign of iron deficiency. 4. Swollen Tongue Lack of oxygen can also cause muscles to enlarge and become painful. “It happens to all the muscles really, but the tongue is the only one you can see,” Murr says. Cracks on the side of the mouth are also common among people with iron deficiency. 5. Restless Legs Syndrome Some people who have iron deficiency develop restless legs syndrome, a disorder that causes you to have a strong urge to move your legs. The urge often comes with an unpleasant, crawling sensation in the legs that can make it hard to sleep. 6. Hair Loss Iron deficiency, especially when it develops into anemia, can cause hair loss. “When hair follicles don’t get enough oxygen, they go into a resting stage, and hair falls out and doesn’t grow back until anemia is improved,” Murr says. It is normal to lose about 100 strands of hair per day. However, if you notice your hair loss is excessive and it is not growing back, this may be a sign of iron deficiency. If you’re experiencing these symptoms and think you may be iron deficient, speak to your doctor. He or she can help you find ways to include more iron-rich foods in your diet and determine whether you need to take iron supplements. Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) Found An Answer ~ Magnesium!

05:12
The other night I couldn't sleep my legs were restless, it came to me that magnesium keeps my heart steady, it is a muscle relaxer - https://youtu.be/z244FUr9vYs http://bit.ly/2gfANhf http://bit.ly/2i19XNV so I went downstairs and put some Epsom Salts into a glass of water, this is a source of magnesium (sulfate) and in minutes my legs calmed down and I drifted off to sleep. I was having trouble falling asleep (magnesium is said to be a cause of insomnia), after drinking this, all of my muscles calmed down and I just drifted off to sleep. It was fanstastic. All of my life I had this - too much calcium causes the need for more magnesium. I had two meals with cheese on it this day so, it must have been enough calcium to throw off my magnesium. Also I walked up a hill - a strenuous walk - and when you use your muscles they use up magnesium. This is a lifesaver for me. I will be forever grateful for this new found discovery. Magnesium is doing wonders for me! Thanks you God for the great minerals you have provided on this earth for us! ~~~Nancy Gurish ~~~Nancy's Store! RLS affects about 10% of the people in the U.S. It runs in families and may have a genetic component. Recent research has found that people with restless leg syndrome are deficient in the mineral magnesium." The human body contains about 25 grams of magnesium, most of which are found in the bones (about 60%) and the muscles (about 20%). This mineral is important to many processes involved in cellular metabolism. For example, over 300 enzymes require magnesium as cofactor for various biochemical reactions in the body." Vitamin D is very important vitamin because calcium can not absorb from intestine in absence of Vitamin D. Vitamin D more we get from sunlight from UVB rays & less we get from food. So,it is compulsory to take sunbath. Oily fish, milk, butter, egg yolk are sources of vitamin D but it contain very less amount which is not sufficient. Deficiency of vitamin D occurs to the person who dont have exposure to sunlight due to indoor work whole day like businessman, housewife etc. Also deficiency occurs to the people who covered their body for religious purpose & the countries above 50 lattitude where little exposure of sunrays especially during october to early march. Fortunately viamin d is fat soluble vitamin so deficiency dont occur over night. It takes months till that body uses vit d from stored parts. People of north canada & USA advised to take fortified Vit D dairy products to avoid deficiency. In deficiency of vitamin D there is deficiency of calcium occurs. In defideficiency of calcium there are so many disease related to bone occurs. 1. Rickets - It occurs in children where legs bent out & development of child is very poor. 2.Osteomalacia - bone pain & muscle pain occurs in mild osteomalacia & fragility fracture occurs in severe stage. 3.Osteoporosis - due to lack of calcium bone becomes brittle & fracture occurs from normal movement.Pressure & sneezing may cause fracture. Some studies shown that cancer of skin occurs due to sun exposure. But it is subject who continous/more work in sunlight. They may use sunscreen to avoid bad effects. Conclussion is that vit d is necessary to absorb calcium. We dont get enough from food so you must take sunbath for 15 min to 30 min everyday or twice or thrice per week. Vitamin deficiency warning: THIS supplement could help prevent multiple sclerosis

02:43
Vitamin deficiency warning THIS supplement could help prevent multiple sclerosis. https://youtu.be/XECn39VVtB8 VITAMIN D deficiency has been linked to a higher risk of multiple sclerosis - a debilitating condition with symptoms including problems with movement and vision. New research has discovered a connection between higher levels of vitamin D and a lower risk of multiple sclerosis (MS) later in life. A study published in the journal Neurology found that with each 50 nmol/L increase in levels of the vitamin in the blood, the risk of developing the condition decreased by 39 per cent. Indeed, they discovered that women who were deficient were 43 per cent more likely to develop MS than women with adequate levels. The researchers recommended that keeping vitamin D levels elevated over the course of a lifetime could prevent the debilitating illness. “The body needs vitamin D to help absorb different nutrients, and is most commonly absorbed through natural sunlight,” said Geeta Sidhu-Robb, a nutritionist and founder of Nosh Detox. “It has been reported that MS is more common in countries further away from the equator, thus further adding to the hypothesis that the lack of sunlight and subsequent vitamin D could well be linked to the increased chance of MS. “As we enter the winter months, in the absence of the sun, it is of critical importance for us to maintain healthy levels of vitamin D intake. “This can be done by eating oily fish such as tuna, mackerel and salmon. Eggs, meat and margarine are also great sources.” However, dietary sources alone in less sunny weather may not provide sufficient levels of vitamin D. Last year Public Health England recommended that everyone take a 10mcg vitamin D supplement daily. “For some people obtaining enough vitamin D from our food is difficult so supplementation ensures you reach adequate levels,” said Sidhu-Robb. “It is also vitally important to supplement vitamin D orally on a daily basis across the year if you are not spending time in the sun. There are currently 100,000 people in the UK living with MS - a condition which affects the brain and spinal cord. Symptoms include problems with vision, arm or leg movement, sensation or balance, according to the NHS. A recent survey by Roche found that being unable to work was one of the biggest concerns for people living with MS in the UK. They discovered that 88 per cent of people with MS said their working lives had been significantly impacted.

9 Warning Signs of Bone Marrow Cancer

09:56
9 Warning Signs of bonee Marrow Cancer: 1. Exhaustion One of the earliest signs of multiple myeloma is a general feeling of exhaustion that fails to go away, even when one gets lots of rest and follows a healthy diet. These feelings of fatigue are usually related to the way multiple myeloma attacks the healthy cells of the bonee marrow, which in many cases can result in anemia or inconsistent cytokine production. Because feelings of fatigue are fairly common, this symptom should be considered in combination with other signs of multiple myeloma on this list. For example, someone who has a family history of cancer, and especially bonee marrow cancer, will want to be tested for multiple myeloma if they suddenly experience a long, generally unbreaking wave of exhaustion lasting several days or weeks. 2. Anemia Anemia, which occurs when the number of red blood cells reaches critically low levels, results from multiple myeloma because it causes the suppression or crowding out of healthy red blood cells. The most common side effect of anemia is an overpowering feeling of fatigue that may not break even with healthy diet, ample rest, fluids, or stimulants like caffeine. This feeling of general exhaustion can last for days or even weeks at a time. However, it should be noted that anemia is not only related to multiple myeloma and the development of bonee marrow cancer. It can result from a number of other health conditions, from pregnancy to menstruationn and iron and vitamin deficiency. Simply failing to get enough iron in the diet can cause anemia. 3. Pain in the bonees One of the more obvious and distinct signs of multiple myeloma is feelings of pain in the bonees. This is because multiple myeloma forms in the marrow of the bonee and, as time goes on, its suppression of healthy red blood cells can cause the bonee to thin and weaken, resulting in osteoporosis. Once this stage is reached, the chance of fracturing or completely breaking the affected bonee increases substantially. It also results in mild to moderate feelings of pain in and around the bonee. This pain may be more noticeable if the problem involves particularly critical bonees, such as the spine, which are responsible for supporting multiple parts of the body. This pain tends to increase with movement and may be considerably more noticeable during the evening and early morning hours. If the spine is affected, the patient may experience compression fractures that cause slumping; over time, this could even result in a patient losing a few inches from their height. 4. Numbness Because multiple myeloma targets the healthy red blood cells of the bonee marrow, in time it can cause the patient’s bonees to weaken. While this often results in the affected bonees becoming frailer and painful, it can also lead to general feelings of numbness. This sensation of numbness is most pronounced when multiple myeloma invades the vertebrae of the spine. As the problem spreads through the spine, it causes the bonees to weaken, resulting in vertebrae coming into contact with each other and the nerves spiraling around the spine. In touching upon these highly sensitive nerves, multiple myeloma effectively scrambles the signal traveling between the brain and spine, leaving the area feeling numb. 5. Kidney problems If not caught early on, multiple myeloma can eventually lead to significant problems in the kidney. This is because the development of multiple myeloma results in the emergence of proteins that, when produced to excess — as they often are when multiple myeloma takes hold — can put undue pressure on the kidneys, resulting in damage or even kidney failure. Ideally, the patient would recognize other signs and symptoms of multiple myeloma — such as excessive fatigue or bonee pain — and be able to take action prior to reaching the stage where kidney problems emerge. However, should those signs not raise flags, the emergence of kidney-related issues should be identified as a possible sign of multiple myeloma. 6. Hypercalcemia Over time, multiple myeloma results in the production of cancerous cells that effectively push healthy cells out of the bonee marrow. This makes the bonee feel weak, painful, and potentially numb. In time, it could cause the bonee to fracture or completely break. This wearing down of the bonees through multiple myeloma also results in a condition known as hypercalcemia, which emerges when there is an excessive amount of calcium in the blood. Hypercalcemia is often found in people with multiple myeloma, because their bonees, which contain calcium, are effectively breaking down. Hypercalcemia introduces its own, rather significant health problems, from exhaustion to constipation and kidney issues. 7. Weight loss 8. Mental confusion 9. Frequent illnesses

Vitamin B12 deficiency: Six symptoms that suggest you may need more in your diet

04:30
If you're new, Subscribe! → https://bit.ly/2sH1zbw  Vitamin B12 is important for many body processes, but if it is in short supply the body won’t make as many red blood cells, they will be abnormally large and won’t last for as long as they should. If you do not have enough red blood cells your tissues and organs may not get enough oxygen and this can lead to the symptoms of anaemia. The symptoms of vitamin B12-deficiency anaemia, according to Bupa, include feeling very tired, breathlessness even after little exercise, heart palpitations, headaches, a reduced appetite, and a sore mouth and tongue. The health organisation adds: “If you have vitamin B12-deficiency may cause symptoms related to your nerves. This is called vitamin B12 neuropathy. “It may affect your movement and sensation, especially in your legs, cause numbness or pins and needles and decrease your sensitivity to touch, vibration or pain. It can also cause confusion, depression, poor concentration ad forgetfulness.  “These symptoms aren’t always due to vitamin B12-deficiency anaemia, but if you have them see your GP.” People with vitamin B12 deficiency anaemia may be treated by their doctor with injections of vitamin B12, given tablets or recommendations for changes in their diet. If you don’t have vitamin B12 deficiency anaemia how can you prevent it? Bupa recommends getting enough of iron, folate and vitamin B12. Iron can be found in red meats including beef and lamb, green vegetables including spinach, watercress and kale and dried fruits such as apricots.  Folate is found in poultry, pork, shellfish and green vegetables including peas, Brussels sprouts and broccoli, and vitamin B12 is in red meats, eggs and dairy products. Nutritionist Dr Josh Axe recommends taking vitamin B12 supplements could help prevent deficiency symptoms. On his site it states: “A vitamin B12 deficiency is thought to be one of the leading nutrient deficiencies in the world. “Vitamin B12 benefits your mood, energy level, memory, heart, skin, hair, digestion and more. “Because of its wide-reaching roles within the body, a vitamin B12 deficiency can show up in many different negative symptoms, many of which are very noticeable, such as potential chronic fatigue, mood disorders like depression, and chronic stress or feeling run down. “Vitamin B12 can be taken in tablet form, in drops that you place under on the tongue or in oral spray form. “Sometimes seniors do better with drops and oral spray forms of vitamin B12 because they have trouble absorbing the vitamin from the stomach.” Iron is another mineral vital for healthy function of the body. Iron deficiency anaemia, its full name, is caused by lack of iron. This in turn causes a lack of adequate healthy red blood cells in the body. It’s usually treated with iron tablets prescribed by a GP and by eating iron-rich foods - but how can you recognise if you have an iron deficiency in the first place?

6 Unusual Symptoms of Iron Deficiency

06:24
7 Unusual Iron Deficiency Symptoms Iron is a mineral that plays a vital role in health and well-being.

Taking Magnesium Supplements

16:24
Should You Be Taking Magnesium Supplements. Considering all of the important roles that magnesium plays in the body — and the fact that a magnesium deficiency is one of the leading nutrient deficiencies in adults with an estimated 80 percent being deficient in this vital mineral — it’s a good idea to consider taking magnesium supplements regularly and eating magnesium-rich foods. The amount of research regarding the benefits of magnesium and the need to take magnesium supplements to counteract a deficiency is staggering. For many people, a magnesium deficiency — also known as hypomagnesemia, with “hypo” meaning under, “magnes” referring to magnesium and “-emia” meaning in the blood — causes noticeable negative symptoms, including muscle aches or spasms, poor digestion, anxiety, and trouble sleeping. Yet, magnesium deficiency is often overlooked and rarely tested. Therefore, magnesium may be one of the most underutilized but most necessary supplements there is. Magnesium — which comes from the obsolete root word magnes, which was used to mean magnet or magnetic power — may not be the most present mineral in our bodies in terms of its quantity, but it’s certainly one of the most crucial to overall health. It’s actually involved in over 300 biochemical functions in the body, such as regulating heartbeat rhythms and helping neurotransmitter functions, which is why hypomagnesemia is something you want to nip in the bud. The Need for Magnesium Supplements:. A magnesium deficiency can cause significant symptoms. Some of the most prominent include: (1) *hypertension and cardiovascular disease. *kidney and liver damage. *peroxynitrite damage that can lead to migraine headaches, multiple sclerosis, glaucoma or Alzheimer’s disease. *nutrient deficiencies, including vitamin K, vitamin B1, calcium and potassium. *restless leg syndrome. *worsened PMS symptoms. *behavioral disorders and mood swings. *insomnia and trouble sleeping. *osteoporosis. *recurrent bacterial or fungal infections due to low levels of nitric oxide or a depressed immune system. *tooth cavities. *muscle weakness and cramps. *impotence. *eclampsia and preeclampsia. Why is magnesium deficiency so common? A few factors are at play: soil depletion that lowers the amount of magnesium present in crops; digestive disorders that lead to malabsorption of magnesium and other minerals in the gut; high rates of prescription medication and antibiotic use that damages the digestive tract to the point that magnesium cannot be absorbed and properly utilized from foods. The body loses stores of magnesium every day from normal functions, such as muscle movement, heartbeat and hormone production. Although we only need small amounts of magnesium relative to other nutrients, we must regularly replenish our stores either from foods or magnesium supplements in order to prevent deficiency symptoms. The kidneys primarily control levels of magnesium within the body and excrete magnesium into the urine each day, which is one reason why urinary excretion is reduced when magnesium and other electrolyte statuses are low. Magnesium is actually the least abundant serum electrolyte in the body, but it’s still extremely important for your metabolism, enzyme function, energy production and for balancing nitric oxide in the body. Types of Magnesium Supplements: Magnesium is naturally present in some foods, synthetically added to other food products and available as a dietary supplement. Additionally, it’s found in some over-the-counter medicines, such as antacids and laxatives. Magnesium supplements are available in a variety of forms. The absorption rate and bioavailability of magnesium supplements differs depending on the kind — usually types that dissolve in liquid are better absorbed in the gut than less soluble forms. It’s believed that magnesium in citrate, chelate and chloride forms are absorbed better than magnesium supplements in oxide and magnesium sulfate form. Here’s a bit about the different types of magnesium supplements that you’ll likely come across: *Magnesium Chelate — highly absorbable by the body and the kind found in foods naturally. This type is bound to multiple amino acids (proteins) and used to restore magnesium levels. *Magnesium Citrate — magnesium combined with citric acid. This may have a laxative effect in some cases when taken in high doses but is otherwise safe to use for improving digestion and preventing constipation. Causes & management of severe leg sensitivity in old age - Dr. Hanume Gowda

01:58
Sensitivity of the limbs or the altered sensation of the limbs, particularly the lower limbs, the upper limbs can happen also for varying reasons also in old patients. The old patients means those who have crossed 60’s and 70’s. The commonest cause is related to their diabetes status. The blood sugars constantly hike and lead to damage to the peripheral nerves, leading to what is called as peripheral neuropathy. The other cause is the Vitamin B12 deficiency and the Vitamin B complex deficiency, which can also lead to such altered sensation because of the same condition called peripheral neuropathy. Other than this, there are conditions which can happen in the spinal canal or the spinal cord, where the bone can go and press to put compression of the nerves leading to altered sensation or sensitivity in the limbs. So now, the 3 causes we know when this happens. When there is diabetes, the management will be control diabetes very well and take measures like taking Vitamin B complex injections or tablets, Increase the Vitamin B complex levels in the blood. Second, if it is only a vitamin deficiencies, then you need to take care of that. If there is a spinal canal or a spinal cord problem, then you will have to get it treated. Most of the times it will be something like the operative treatment to increase the space for the spinal nerves.

Your heart, your fluid, your energy, your nutrients in and out of the cell is dependent on the sodium and potassium pump. However, potassium is the most difficult to get from the diet. High levels of cortisol (stress), insulin, sugar, diuretics, excessive salt, surgery, all can deplete potassium. However, you need between 7-10 cups of salad or veggies to get your daily requirement of 4700mg. Hey guys, Dr. Berg here. I want to do a video on the most important electrolyte. Let me explain what an electrolyte is, if you ever take salt and put it in the water and dissolve it, the sodium and chloride disconnect and they become two separate minerals and that fluid is very electrically conductive. Basically electrolytes have to do with minerals that help conduct electricity in the body. They help with a lot of different things. As far as the electrolytes, it will be like potassium, sodium, magnesium, calcium, chlorides, and all those minerals. Potassium out of all the electrolytes is the one that we need in a very large quantities. Why is that? Why do we need potassium in a large amount? I am talking 4,700 mg to 6,000 mg every single day and that is equivalent to 7 to 10+ cups of salad or vegetables every single day. Let’s go dig further into exactly to why we need potassium. There are something in the body called sodium-potassium pump. It is built in a little protein connected to an enzyme, it forms a whole enzyme in the surface of your cells and you will have between 8,000 to 30million of this little tiny pumps and they are little generators that generate electricity to allow things to go through the cell so it take a lot of energy, in fact the energy of 1/3 of your diet goes to running those pumps. You also have another pump in the stomach called the hydrogen potassium ATPas, it is basically another pump that is built with a potassium that allows you to create stomach acid to help you digest. This pumps are also in the muscles, nervous systems and the pumps in the nervous system used about 60% of your body’s chloric intake of energy. In other words, these pumps are really critically important in exchanging nutrition, glucose, amino acids and other minerals to allow them to transport in other cell. Potassium is essential for building the pumps to allow these functions right here, they charge the cell electrically, so your cells have a certain voltage to allow things to work and go in and out of the cell to create different energy. In fact your energy that you have that controls your metabolism is controlled partly by these little pump. So it charges the cell electrically, it gives you energy. It helps the muscle contracts and relax because it allows calcium to go into the cell as well. It controls the transport of calcium. 6 Things That Cause Fluid Retention In Your Body And How To Avoid Them

02:44
OUR WEBSITE : http://justhealthrelated.com/ 6 THINGS THAT CAUSE FLUID RETENTION IN YOUR BODY AND HOW TO AVOID THEM Fluid retention is the accumulation of water in the tissues which is a result of imbalance in the liquid levels in the body. Our body is a complex system of hormones that constantly tweak the levels of liquids in order to keep them stable. This is why drinking more than the recommended amount of water doesn’t cause any problems – the excess is eliminated by the kidneys in the form of urine or sweat. In order to prevent fluid retention, you should avoid doing the following 6 things that are probably causing it: Consuming too much sodium Sodium is present in almost any food we eat, but by consuming too much of it and not drinking enough water it may result in fluid retention. Processed foods Processed foods contain a lot of sugar and sodium, two substances that are considered as the main causes of edema. Dehydration Not drinking plenty of water during the day will result in dehydration. Dehydration will make the body retain water in order to survive which can lead to swelling in the tissues. Vitamin B6 deficiency Lack of vitamin B6 in the body may cause fluid retention, so make sure to optimize its levels. The best sources of vitamin B6 are tuna, sunflower seeds, potatoes, pistachios, bananas or chicken. Magnesium deficiency Magnesium is one of the most important minerals for our health. It plays a part in many functions, which is why we should take at least 200 mg. a day. Taking the optimal amount of magnesium will also prevent fluid retention. Magnesium can be found in foods such as nuts, dried fruits, avocado, whole grains and spinach. Potassium deficiency Lack of potassium in the body may lead to improper functioning organs and fluid imbalance and retention as the mineral regulates the water balance in the body. HERE ARE SOME TIPS THAT WILL HELP YOU PREVENT FLUID RETENTION: Exercising is key against fluid retention in the body. It will activate the circulation in your legs by compressing the muscles in the veins and allowing excess fluid to be eliminate through urine and sweat. Elevating the legs when resting can also help. This will reduce the swelling in the ankles – put your ankles above the knees at a sharp angle to accelerate the movement of fluids. In order to prevent fluid retention in the body, you should also consume more fruit and vegetables. They contain flavonoids which will be of great help in removing excess fluids from the body. Avoid wearing tight clothing as it can impair your circulation and decrease your salt intake as well. Try not to shower with hot water in order to prevent dehydration and allow the body to prevent accumulation of fluids Don't Forget To Follow Us On Other Social Media : INSTAGRAM: http://bit.ly/2m7bnd1 FACEBOOK: http://bit.ly/2kYKuD0 TWITTER: http://bit.ly/2l74mVA PINTEREST: http://bit.ly/2lEUYvn Subscribe our channel for more!

Thiamine Deficiency Symptoms – 15 Signs of it and 5 Really Cool Things it can Do!

04:10
http://utahtexans.com/ Click on the link above for a free video guide to shopping for supplements and using herbal medicines! In this video I'm going to share some of the leading thiamine deficiency symptoms, as well as a few really nifty things this nutrient can do Thiamine also goes by the name of vitamin b1 and played a big role in the discovery of vitamins. After it was discovered that oranges and citrus fruits prevented scurvy with sailors there was this other big disease plaguing people and do you know what that was? It starts with the letter B. It's called beriberi. Just like the role of oranges to scurvy in the late 1900's it was discovered that removing the husks or outer layer of rice caused beriberi. This disease really hurt Japanese and Asian sailors since most of their diet was rice. Then a little later in time this substance received the name vitamin b1 or thiamine. Do you know why this vitamin was called B1? It is because it was the very first B vitamin discovered. You might be wondered what is so bad about beriberi right? Beriberi can either affect the cardiovascular system known as wet beriberi or it can attack the nervous system and that is known as dry beribery. If beribery affects the nervous system all kinds of problems can develop. According to Healthgrades.com There could be problems with walking, coordination, slurred speech, confusion or memory problems. Next a person could feel tingling in the hands or feet, uncontrolled eye movement and possibly vomiting. If beribery is wet it affects the cardiovascular system. Someone may experience fatigue, abnormal heart rhythms, shortness of breath, chest pains, coughing, leg pains and possibly swelling. The great thing is that all these symptoms can be eliminated if someone gets enough of this vitamin. However, if treatment is delayed what do you think is going to happen? Yep all these annoying problems could become permanent. We know that thiamine is vital for life and that is why it's called a vitamin. Apart from preventing beriberi it can reduce the chance of someone getting cataracts. According to Oregon State University a study of nearly 3,000 Australian men and women found that those with the highest level of vitamin B1 were 40% less likely to have cataracts than those with the lowest levels. It also does things like maybe prevent cancer, Alzheimer's, heart failure and it can eliminate free radicals. In conclusion just make sure you get enough of this stuff. You could get it through diet a lone, however I think it makes more sense to take a quality supplement. The reality is that farmers use chemicals to grow their crops bigger and faster, but it depletes the nutritional value of the food that we are consuming. Plus consuming a quality supplement will give antioxidants that can do so many wonderful things. Supplements and alternative medicine can be confusing and even harmful. Make things really simple and give your body a HUGE edge by viewing a free video guide I created at http://utahtexans.com/.

RLS Symptoms and How to Easily Prevent It!

04:31
http://utahtexans.com/ Click on the link above for a free video guide to dietary supplements and alternative medicine! RLS is an annoying problem that can be easily prevented. In this video I'm going to share the leading symptoms of it as well as the main reasons a person gets it. RLS stands for restless leg syndrome and as you can probably guess it has something to do with your legs. One of the most common symptoms with this condition is the urge to move. Usually this affects the legs, but someone can have this feeling in their arms or anywhere. Some people have described this feeling as tiny pins or needles, pricking them. Other people have mentioned it feels like something is pulling their legs or even a crawling sensation. Moving also makes a person feel better for a short time. The bad news is that if someone is trying to get sleep this RLS feeling doesn't help. Being up all night because you can't rest will have some health consequences. A big danger has to do with automobile accidents. In fact chernobyle, oil spills were caused by lack of sleep, Not getting the sleep you need also hurts your ability to learn, increases the chance of heart disease, diabetes, weakens your immune system, ages your skin and contributes to overeating. According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services the biggest cause of RLS is a lack of iron. The brain uses iron to create dopamine. Dopamine is used in the part of the brain that controls movement. To get iron I highly recommend to take a good multivitamin supplement. You can also get it through eating certain foods such as red meats, egg yolk and certain cereals. Another common culprit of RLS is problems with the nervous system. How this system works is information about the world from your skin, muscles and joints go to the spinal cord and then to the brain. The brain gets the information and then sends a signal to the correct body part as a response. This all happens very quickly, just think about walking. To protect the nervous system there is one very important thing that you should be doing and do you know what that is? I'll give you a hint I mentioned it earlier and it's vital for life. Yes, it is a multivitamin. Your body needs vitamins for certain things and if you are deficient in a few of them it raises the risk for health problems like RLS. You could get a vitamins through food, but I highly recommend a quality multivitamin because it will ensure you are getting the nutrients you need. To sum everything up the leading RLS symptoms are the urge to move. This usually happens with legs, but can also be with arms and other body parts. Some people describe tiny pins or needles pricking them. Others sense pulling in their legs or a crawling feeling. Two reasons people get RLS is from a lack of iron and problems with their nervous system. Supplements and alternative medicine can be confusing and even harmful. Make things really simple and give your body a HUGE edge by viewing a free video guide I created at http://utahtexans.com/.

What Causes White Spots On Nails

01:41
Most people wind up with white spots on their nails at one point or another. In many cases these nails apply in one or two spots on the nails and gradually disappear as the nail grows out. In most cases these spots are not serious and do not necessarily require treatment, but if you notice that you are getting spots on your nails frequently then you may need to track down the source to ensure that they are not a sign of something more serious that requires treatment. Causes of White Spots on Nails When you are experiencing white spots on nails, you should take into account many causes which are listed below for you. Injury. In most cases, a white spot on the nails is the sign of a minor injury to the area. Bending the nail, banging it while moving or clipping the nail incorrectly can cause the nail to develop a white spot. Sometimes these spots will show up some time after the injury has occurred which makes it difficult to track what caused them to appear. Infection. White spots can also be a sign that your nail is suffering from an infection such as a fungus, yeast or mold. These types of spots often develop near the cuticle or at the tip of the nail rather than in the middle. As these spots grow out it can cause the nail to flake or split as well. Allergic reaction. Similarly, white spots can be a sign that your nail is suffering from an allergic reaction to a product. If you have recently tried a new nail polish, polish remover or nail hardener and you notice that you are starting to develop an allergy to the product. Vitamin deficiency. You may also be suffering from a vitamin deficiency that can cause white spots to develop on the nails. Women who are suffering from a calcium deficiency tend to develop these kinds of white spots. A deficiency in zinc can also cause spot on the nails. These symptoms are usually coupled with other symptoms such as dry, brittle hair that falls out.

It's free and very enlightening. Dr. Berg talks about ketosis and diarrhea. Your body is probably not used to the amount of saturated fat you are consuming. Saturated fats will trigger bile. Bile is produced by the liver and stored in the gallbladder. Bile salts are used to break down fats. People that don't eat that many saturated fats will not have that much bile. Cut down on of fat you consume, so your body gets used to it. Bile will adjust, and diarrhea will stop. Hey guys, I want to do a short video on Ketosis and diarrhea. First of all, one thing that you are add that probably not had in your diet is more saturated fats, the fat especially saturated fats will trigger bile. Bile is produced in the liver and stored in the Gallbladder and is needed to breakdown fats. The big trigger is saturated fats, so people that don’t have a lot of saturated fats don’t have as much bile. Bile is the lubricant and it makes the colon lubricated so if you have too much of it then you will have diarrhea. What you are going to do is to simply cut down the amount of fat so your body can get used to it, the bile will adjust and the diarrhea will go away. If you have diarrhea and then obviously the Kale shake that you just consumed, then we know that’s a different situation where we know that you can’t digest that Kale. Anything that comes through you undigested is something that you have to avoid until you can figure out what to eat. But you have alternate what you eat to maybe some vegetables that you can digest. Vitamin D Deficiency Symptoms

00:31
http://www.youtube.com/watch?y=WsFmVMgl-e4 There is now a wealth of research linking vitamin D deficiency to certain diseases. It has been known for some time that lack of vitamin D has been responsible for bone diseases. In the very young deficiency in vitamin D which then reduces calcium absorption means that bone formation is affected. This can happen in pregnancy so that the foetus is unable to for strong bone and early on in life rickets may be present. This is where the bones remain soft and the tell tale malformed legs are seen. In adults this bone disease is called osteomalacia. http://www.youtube.com/user/VitaminDSupplements1 Other diseases that are linked to vitamin D deficiency are the autoimmune diseases. One of the strongest associations is that of multiple sclerosis (MS). This is where the fatty myelin sheath that cover the nerves start to break down. With nerve transmission compromised movement and speech are affected. http://vitaminddeficiency1.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=6&action=edit

4 Ways To Quickly Stop Leg Cramps & Foot Cramps With Natural Remedies

06:50
CALM MAGNESIUM: http://amzn.to/2iOkidv CUPRUM 30c: http://amzn.to/2iOkMAo STOP LEG AND FOOT CRAMPS: http://amzn.to/2hDzMoV ULTIMA REPLENISHER: http://amzn.to/2ihrz8I Suffer no more! In this video I share four natural remedies I have personally used to quickly stop my own leg cramps and foot cramps, and they really work! If you suffer from leg cramps or foot cramps, watch this video to find out what you can do to stop those cramps almost as soon as they start! My leg and foot cramps started to appear many, many years ago. My only remedy at the time was to rub them out or walk them out, and that could take a long time. All the while I was in pain. A lot of pain! My right foot especially would cramp up, even when driving, and that would force me to immediately stop the car, get out, and walk around until it stopped. Horrible! Of course, the cramps happened at night as well, like they do with a lot of people. Then, I visited a naturopathic doctor (Dr. Angela Agrios, ND) and not only learned about some of the causes, but also some remedies that would help stop the pain, almost immediately. Leg cramps and foot cramps can be caused by many things but a few common are poor circulation, lack of electrolytes (minerals) and cold feet. I discovered that I had really poor circulation, and so that certainly contributed to the issue. I would later find out that exercising depletes the body of electrolytes (minerals), especially magnesium, potassium and calcium. So does sitting in a hot sauna or steam room because lots of perspiring will deplete the body of electrolytes. Of course, rigorous exercise also causes perspiration. It just so happens that if you can get electrolytes back into the body you can also stop the leg cramps and stop the foot cramps. Before I share the natural remedies for leg cramps and foot cramps, I want to emphasize that if you suffer from either of these cramps on any kind of regular basis, it would be in your best interest to visit a naturopathic doctor to find out why so that the cause can be treated. For example, I know for me it is due, in part, to poor circulation, and to that end, my doctor has worked with me extensively so that my circulation is much better now (naturally, of course). Benfotiamine is a fat soluble form of vitamin B-1 or "thiamine".Thiamine deficiency in extreme forms causes the disease "beri beri" and produces the following symptoms:decreased muscle function, particularly in the lower legs.tingling or loss of feeling in the feet and hands.pain.mental confusion.difficulty speaking.vomiting.involuntary eye movement.paralysis. For these reasons many wonder if modern conditions such as neuropathy, fibromyalgia, and dementia are related to a form of thiamine deficiency or might improve with the use of benfotiamine?According to Julius Goepp, Medical Doctor at lifeextension.com, "For decades, European doctors have prescribed diabetic patients a fat-soluble form of vitamin B1 called benfotiamine to treat neuropathies and help prevent complications such as blindness, kidney failure, heart attack, and limb amputation. Benfotiamine blocks destructive biochemical pathways that enable high blood sugar levels to damage nerves and small blood vessels."According to PeoplesPharmacy.com People with diabetes are especially susceptible to peripheral neuropathy, pain, tingling or numbness affecting the feet or hands. Being unable to feel your feet can make walking difficult. But the biggest problem is the stabbing or burning pain. Benfotiamine has been used in Germany to treat peripheral neuropathy due to diabetes with an initial dose of 300 mg twice per day and an ongoing dose of 150 mg twice perday.According to Experimental and Clinical Endocrinology and Diabetes, Nov., 2008, a placebo-controlled trial for diabetic neuropathy found a significant benefit for pain, though other studies using lower doses than mentioned above claim to have found little benefit.According to nutritional-supplements-health-guide.com while the use of benfotiamine for high blood pressure is rarely discussed, there are situations of positional hypertension that result from diabetic nerve damage that may benefit from the use of this supplement.According to neuropathytreatmentgroup.com, sciatica is a type of nerve damage creating a sense of pain and weakness in the legs as a result of injury to or pressure on the sciatic nerve. Their treatment regimen includes benfotiamine, methyl B-12 and alpha-lipoic acid based on clinical trials referenced at the site. According to a PubMed.gov a small study of patients will Alzheimer's Disease were treated with 300 mg per day of benfotiamine. The researcher noted: "Benfotiamine significantly improved the cognitive abilities of mild to moderate AD patients independently of brain amyloid accumulation. Our study provides new insight to the development of disease-modifying therapy."Benfotiamine is worth watching as research continues to show its promise in human nutrition.

Don't Ignore These Early Symptoms of Potassium Deficiency

11:08
Signs You Are Not Getting Enough Potassium. Potassium is one of the body’s most important minerals. It is present in every cell of the human body. In fact, it is one of the body’s four main electrolytes, along with sodium, magnesium and calcium. Being an electrolyte, potassium helps maintain a proper water balance in the body as well as regulate blood pressure. It also plays a role in the digestion of proteins and carbohydrates. In addition, this important mineral is needed for muscle strength, nerve functioning, proper digestion and a healthy cardiovascular system. Here are the top 10 signs and symptoms that you are not getting enough potassium. review : 01:02 Muscle Cramps 02:05 Muscle Weakness and Damage 03:08 General Fatigue 04:06 Tingling Sensations 05:11 Heart Palpitations 06:08 Mental or Emotional Issues 07:12 Constipation 08:03 High Blood Pressure 1, Muscle Cramps. Frequent muscle cramps, whether during the day or night, is a very common sign of a potassium deficiency. Cramping in the legs, feet and arms is common. Potassium is one of the electrolytes found in all body cells, including muscle and nerve cells. It works with sodium to maintain your cells’ electrical charges, which control muscle contractions and functioning. 2, Muscle Weakness and Damage. A low potassium level can have a huge impact on your muscle health. It can impair the function of muscle cells as well as damage the muscles. This leads to profound weakness and muscle stiffness, aching and tenderness. Also, potassium is needed for healing the muscles on a cellular level. Hence, there may also be an increase in muscle tearing or straining with little or no effort. 3, General Fatigue. 02:55 Another common symptom of low potassium is a general feeling of fatigue. This kind of fatigue is not due to overexertion or overworking. In fact, the feeling of fatigue and tiredness has no explainable reason. Every cell in the body needs the right amount of potassium to function, and an inadequate amount of this mineral can affect the functioning of cells as well as organs. 4, Tingling Sensations. Potassium is important for the health of your nerves. A low level of this mineral can affect the electrical impulses that pass from the skin and muscles to the spinal cord and brain. This can lead to a loss of sensation along the outer extremities, resulting in the tingling sensations. 5, Heart Palpitations. A potassium deficiency can also affect your heart health. It can cause an irregular heartbeat rhythm and heart palpitations for no apparent reason at all. Low potassium can disrupt the rhythmic, coordinated contractions of the heart that are controlled by electrical impulses. On the other hand, an adequate amount of potassium in the body helps protect your heart from heart disease, heart attacks and strokes. 6, Mental or Emotional Issues. Potassium is important for mental health and brain function. It helps maintain the electrical conductivity of the brain and nerve transmissions. Plus, it plays a key role in transporting serotonin, a neurotransmitter that promotes feelings of well-being and happiness. This is why a low potassium level can contribute to confusion, mood swings, depression, hallucinations and delirium. 7, Constipation. The mineral potassium is important for the digestive system, which is made of smooth muscles that contract rhythmically to aid digestion of food. Low blood levels of potassium can disrupt the functions of the involuntary muscles of the stomach and intestines. Proper functioning of these muscles is needed for digestion, absorption and metabolism to occur. Poor functioning can lead to constipation. 8, High Blood Pressure. Potassium helps relax blood vessels, and without enough of it, they can become constricted, which causes blood pressure to rise. Potassium also balances out the negative effects of sodium. When potassium is low, the balance of sodium in the body gets disturbed. This can also affect your blood pressure. Tips to correct a potassium deficiency 1, The best solution is to get this mineral from natural fruits. Some of the best sources are bananas, avocados, strawberries, oranges, mangoes, kiwis, apricots and dates. 2, Vegetables high in beta-carotene also contain a good amount of potassium. Some examples are carrots, sweet potatoes, spinach, broccoli, Swiss chard and red peppers. 3, Fish, such as sardines and salmon, also contain plenty of this mineral. 4, Gradually include more potassium-rich foods in your diet each day until you are getting the recommended amount. It is best not to try to compensate for a potassium shortage all in one day. 5, If you opt to take a supplement, always consult your doctor first. The recommended daily amount of potassium is : 3.000 mg per day for ages 1 to 3, 3.800 mg per day for ages 4 to 8, 4.500 mg per day for ages 9 to 13, 4.700 mg per day for ages 14 and older, 5.100 for women who are breastfeeding.
