DEWALT 12 Volt Green Beam Laser DW089LG Review

DEWALT DW089LG Green Beam Laser: READ REVIEW HERE: http://www.toolboxbuzz.com/cordless-tools/dewalt-dw089lg-12v-max-3-x-360-green-line-laser/ This laser is perfect for construction and remodeling leveling and layout applications. Measuring 6” high and 6.125″ long this unit is used for projecting bright crossing horizontal and vertical lines, provides a 100 foot, indoor beam with ± 0.125″ accuracy (1/8″). It features green beam laser technology which is four times brighter; the green laser diodes are more visible than red and allow for a greater visible range in interior applications along with better exterior visibility. Durability: The DEWALT DW089LG has a durability rating of IP65. What does IP65 really mean, and how does it affect you? The IP Code or International Protection Rating, consists of the letters IP followed by two digits and an optional letter, it classifies the degrees of protection provided against the intrusion of solid objects, dust, accidental contact, and water in electrical enclosures. The standard was designed to provide users with more detail on the products durability in the elements. Versatility: The DEWALT DW089LG laser emits three (3) 360-degree green line lasers: •One horizontal line •Two vertical lines, 90-degrees apart from each other •A full-time pulse mode allows use with a detector This laser has an integrated magnetic bracket allows the laser to swivel 360-degrees on its mount. There are two magnets and they’re strong! I was able to securely mount the laser to an electrical bo, steel shelving, a lally column and all sorts of stuff. Both 1/4″ and 5/8″ thread attachments are located on the bottom and a screw hold on the back for hanging it up on a wall or other surface. An additional multi-attachment bracket, measuring approximately 9-inches long, allows several ways to use the laser in the field, such as: 1. Clamp onto suspended ceiling framework or angle iron 2. Screw the bracket to a surface [top and bottom screw holes] Once the multi-attachment bracket is installed the DW089LG laser securely mounts onto it with its two magnets and can be slid up or down for micro adjustment. The laser has an over sized slide power switch, and an over-molded housing and a locking Pendulum that helps to prevent damage to internal components. One feature I noticed was when the unit is tilted it will pulse 3-times and then hold the line – perfect for finding the right angle on tile work. The fact that this tool comes with a 12-volt lithium-on battery and charger means no more dead, disposable batteries when you pull the laser out of your freezing cold trailer where it has been sitting idle for several week. No more last minute trips to a store to purchase batteries either! Being cordless means that you can plug and play other 12-volt batteries, or wait for the charger, if even needed. Improvements: The laser comes in a DEWALT molded plastic case with room for an extra battery and god knows what else, there’s a lot of wasted space, making me think that they could have gone smaller on the box footprint. It took me awhile to figure out how the laser and its accessories went back into the box – I hate when tool companies do this. The folks at DEWAT should somehow mark and label the resting location to save us the frustrating time trying to figure it out and slamming the hood” to see if it fits. DEWALT DW089LG Laser Specifications: • Indoor Visibility Range 100ft • Accuracy +/-0.125″ • Laser Beam Color Green • 12V Lithium-ion Rechargeable Power Tool Battery Platform • Green Beam Laser Technology • Over-molded housing and IP65 water/debris resistance • Locking Pendulum – To help prevent damage to internal components • 3x 360° line lasers for full-room layout • Built-in magnetic bracket with 1/4″ and 5/8″ threads • Rear-mounted magnets allow for flush attachment to metal track and steel • Full-time pulse mode for use with detector • Locking pendulum prevents damage to internal components • 100 foot range (green) • ± 0.125″ accuracy (1/8″) • Includes blow molded case and extended ceiling bracket • Width (in) 17.75″ •Overall Length (in) 6.125″ • Height (in) 12.5″ Summary: The DEWALT DW089LG Laser is a professional construction laser designed to deliver very tight accuracy, and trusted performance. I enjoyed using it and really like the fact that I do not have to purchase disposable batteries to power it.
How can you stop a Nuclear Missile?

09:54
When I was growing up in England in the 1970’s and though the 1980’s in particular, there was an almost palpable fear that a nuclear exchange could break out between the superpowers at almost any time. Patreon : https://www.patreon.com/curiousdroid Paypal.me : https://www.paypal.me/curiousdroid You can now translate this and other curious droid videos, see my video about it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLPVgIytKyg It caused me and many others around at the time to wonder was there a way to stop a missile attack but to be honest there was very little you could do. If you lived in a big city or near a military base, there was nothing to stop an ICBM or Intercontinental Ballistic missile once it was on its way and with the 4 minute warning we would have in the UK, you might as well have one last game of missile command and hope for a quick end. Roll on 35+ years and although we now live in a time of where the threat from nuclear attack is much less, it’s still present, even if it may have moved to a different area of the globe. So, with the advancement of technology, can we stop a missile attack now, once it’s been launched Snippet of SWDennis KSP - Intercontinental Ballistic Missile - ICBM. https://youtu.be/daazXGqCi88 used to show multiple warheads on re-entry. Laser Hair Removal Info Brisbane Sunshine Coast

01:56
http://www.imagebylaser.com.au/laser-hair-removal-faq Laser Hair Removal Information Brisbane Sunshine Coast See why Image by Laser is a market leader in the field of Laser Hair Removal. We strive to get our customers the best results by using only the best technology and taking extra time and care to prepare and mark up the treatment area, resulting in no missed patches and a great end result. Laser Hair Removal FAQ IPL IS NOT LASER IPL uses multiple wavelengths of light to treat skin concerns e.g. sun damage, red veins LASERS use a single wavelength of light to remove hair which is far superior to IPL Q. Why is our laser the best? It is the most advanced class 4 Medical grade laser from USA that is specifically built for laser hair removal and it can be tailored to suit your skin colour and hair type for maximum results. Our laser has its own inbuilt refrigerated cooling system that cools the skin before and after laser exposure. Some older lasers use a gas for cooling which can have adverse side effects on the skin. Q. What is the difference between Laser and IPL, SIPL, VPL, SPL or any other pulsed light technology? Laser uses a specific wavelength of light (755nm - Alexandrite) that specifically targets the hair follicle, whereas intense pulse light uses multiple wavelengths and targets everything in its path. IPL machines deliver a wide range of wavelengths and are more likely to damage skin at higher energy level. Laser energy travels through a fibre optic cable and is transmitted through the handpiece in a circular beam onto the skin whereas IPL light is directed though a square or rectangular glass lens or crystal which is placed in contact with the skin. Q. Why doesn't every business use Laser? Lasers are very expensive (well over $100,000) and the licensing required by Qld Health to own and operate Lasers in Qld is very strict that is why we are one of a few clinics that are fully licensed. IPL is currently unregulated so many beauty salons have started offering this service without adequate training or experience, and the lower powered technology often yields less then pleasing results than laser. Q. How do I know the specialists are qualified in what they are using? All our laser specialists are fully qualified and licensed with Qld Health to obtain their laser license they need to have completed many hours of supervised training. When visiting an Image by Laser clinic all laser hair removal specialists have their qualifications and licenses on display. This is our safety net to our clients. Q. How many treatments will I need? We recommend a minimum of four treatments at the correct intervals; though your individual needs may vary. Your laser specialist will advise you on this. Q. Does it hurt? Our Laser has a built in cooling system that blows cool air onto the skin during and after treatment so there is less discomfort than other hair removal processes. Cooling the area during treatment it also has a protective effect on the skin, minimising any thermal effects. Q. How long does the treatment take? Treatment time is based on the size of the area because our laser can fire up to 5 times a second where as pulse light can only fire once every three to five seconds. We do not time our treatments as we believe it's not a race against the clock to meet a low price and miss half the area in doing so. Our specialists take the time necessary to complete your treatment diligently and professionally and with total clearance of the area on each visit. Q. Why do some places say they use laser when they don't? Most clinics cannot use a true laser, and try to claim that Intense Pulsed Light technology is an equal substitute or use the word laser in advertising to mislead you. The Queensland office of Fair Trading takes misleading advertising very seriously.

CBCT Scanning in Charlotte & Pineville NC: Dr. Marashi | Greater Charlotte Oral & Facial Surgery

02:27
CBCT Scanning in Charlotte & Pineville NC: Dr. Marashi | Greater Charlotte Oral & Facial Surgery -http://greatercharlotteoralsurgery.com Dr. Marashi is the founder and medical director of Greater Charlotte Oral & Facial Surgery in Charlotte, North Carolina. He received his undergraduate training at Mercer University in Atlanta where he was elected to the Phi Kappa Phi honor society, and he attended dental school at the University of Minnesota where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with distinction. Dr. Marashi completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Louisiana State University and the University of Rochester. He also attended medical school at Louisiana State University where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree Cum Laude, followed by a year of medical residency. Hello, I’m Dr. Amir Marashi of Greater Charlotte Oral & Facial Surgery. I’m a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, and have both a dental degree and a medical degree. Sometimes, patients undergoing routine oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures require some level of diagnostic imaging prior to their surgery. At Greater Charlotte Oral & Facial Surgery, it’s extremely important that each and every patient receives an accurate diagnosis. That’s why our practice offers cone beam computer tomography, or CBCT. CBCT is a digital imagine method that provides a rapid and painless examination of your face, jaws, and teeth. Unlike conventional radiographic techniques, the CBCT allows for the creation of images that are three-dimensional, high-definition, and extremely accurate. These images allow us to visualize critical anatomic structures, and to better understand your condition. This helps tremendously when making treatment recommendations. CBCT may be necessary to determine the location and position of wisdom teeth, characterize several different tumors, locate important nerves in the jaw, or evaluate cases of facial trauma. Patient safety is our top priority at Greater Charlotte Oral & Facial Surgery. Utilizing CBCT allows us to obtain important information for treatment without exposing our patients to the higher levels of radiation provided by conventional medical CT scanning technology. This expert imaging allows us to make the most highly accurate diagnosis possible in order to eliminate surprises during your treatment, prevent unnecessary procedures, and better prepare our staff for the upcoming surgery. As a result, this generally provides patients with a shorter operating time and fewer post-surgical complications. For all of your oral surgery needs, please visit us at Greater Charlotte Oral & Facial Surgery. We perform general tooth extractions, wisdom teeth removal, dental implant placement, and bone grafting procedures, as well as facial trauma surgery and many other facial reconstructive and cosmetic procedures. We service the entire Greater Charlotte region, including Mecklenburg, Union, Gaston, Cabarrus, and Lincoln Counties, as well as Cherokee, York, and Lancaster counties in South Carolina. Auburn Coach Wife Kristi Malzahn Agrees with Match & eHarmony: Men are Jerks

12:23
My advice is this: Settle! That's right. Don't worry about passion or intense connection. Don't nix a guy based on his annoying habit of yelling "Bravo!" in movie theaters. Overlook his halitosis or abysmal sense of aesthetics. Because if you want to have the infrastructure in place to have a family, settling is the way to go. Based on my observations, in fact, settling will probably make you happier in the long run, since many of those who marry with great expectations become more disillusioned with each passing year. (It's hard to maintain that level of zing when the conversation morphs into discussions about who's changing the diapers or balancing the checkbook.) Obviously, I wasn't always an advocate of settling. In fact, it took not settling to make me realize that settling is the better option, and even though settling is a rampant phenomenon, talking about it in a positive light makes people profoundly uncomfortable. Whenever I make the case for settling, people look at me with creased brows of disapproval or frowns of disappointment, the way a child might look at an older sibling who just informed her that Jerry's Kids aren't going to walk, even if you send them money. It's not only politically incorrect to get behind settling, it's downright un-American. Our culture tells us to keep our eyes on the prize (while our mothers, who know better, tell us not to be so picky), and the theme of holding out for true love (whatever that is—look at the divorce rate) permeates our collective mentality. Even situation comedies, starting in the 1970s with The Mary Tyler Moore Show and going all the way to Friends, feature endearing single women in the dating trenches, and there's supposed to be something romantic and even heroic about their search for true love. Of course, the crucial difference is that, whereas the earlier series begins after Mary has been jilted by her fiancé, the more modern-day Friends opens as Rachel Green leaves her nice-guy orthodontist fiancé at the altar simply because she isn't feeling it. But either way, in episode after episode, as both women continue to be unlucky in love, settling starts to look pretty darn appealing. Mary is supposed to be contentedly independent and fulfilled by her newsroom family, but in fact her life seems lonely. Are we to assume that at the end of the series, Mary, by then in her late 30s, found her soul mate after the lights in the newsroom went out and her work family was disbanded? If her experience was anything like mine or that of my single friends, it's unlikely. And while Rachel and her supposed soul mate, Ross, finally get together (for the umpteenth time) in the finale of Friends, do we feel confident that she'll be happier with Ross than she would have been had she settled down with Barry, the orthodontist, 10 years earlier? She and Ross have passion but have never had long-term stability, and the fireworks she experiences with him but not with Barry might actually turn out to be a liability, given how many times their relationship has already gone up in flames. It's equally questionable whether Sex and the City's Carrie Bradshaw, who cheated on her kindhearted and generous boyfriend, Aidan, only to end up with the more exciting but self-absorbed Mr. Big, will be better off in the framework of marriage and family. (Some time after the breakup, when Carrie ran into Aidan on the street, he was carrying his infant in a Baby Björn. Can anyone imagine Mr. Big walking around with a Björn?)

Our Miss Brooks: Business Course / Going Skiing / Overseas Job

01:28:22
Our Miss Brooks is an American situation comedy starring Eve Arden as a sardonic high school English teacher. It began as a radio show broadcast from 1948 to 1957. When the show was adapted to television (1952--56), it became one of the medium's earliest hits. In 1956, the sitcom was adapted for big screen in the film of the same name. Connie (Constance) Brooks (Eve Arden), an English teacher at fictional Madison High School. Osgood Conklin (Gale Gordon), blustery, gruff, crooked and unsympathetic Madison High principal, a near-constant pain to his faculty and students. (Conklin was played by Joseph Forte in the show's first episode; Gordon succeeded him for the rest of the series' run.) Occasionally Conklin would rig competitions at the school--such as that for prom queen--so that his daughter Harriet would win. Walter Denton (Richard Crenna, billed at the time as Dick Crenna), a Madison High student, well-intentioned and clumsy, with a nasally high, cracking voice, often driving Miss Brooks (his self-professed favorite teacher) to school in a broken-down jalopy. Miss Brooks' references to her own usually-in-the-shop car became one of the show's running gags. Philip Boynton (Jeff Chandler on radio, billed sometimes under his birth name Ira Grossel); Robert Rockwell on both radio and television), Madison High biology teacher, the shy and often clueless object of Miss Brooks' affections. Margaret Davis (Jane Morgan), Miss Brooks' absentminded landlady, whose two trademarks are a cat named Minerva, and a penchant for whipping up exotic and often inedible breakfasts. Harriet Conklin (Gloria McMillan), Madison High student and daughter of principal Conklin. A sometime love interest for Walter Denton, Harriet was honest and guileless with none of her father's malevolence and dishonesty. Stretch (Fabian) Snodgrass (Leonard Smith), dull-witted Madison High athletic star and Walter's best friend. Daisy Enright (Mary Jane Croft), Madison High English teacher, and a scheming professional and romantic rival to Miss Brooks. Jacques Monet (Gerald Mohr), a French teacher. Our Miss Brooks was a hit on radio from the outset; within eight months of its launch as a regular series, the show landed several honors, including four for Eve Arden, who won polls in four individual publications of the time. Arden had actually been the third choice to play the title role. Harry Ackerman, West Coast director of programming, wanted Shirley Booth for the part, but as he told historian Gerald Nachman many years later, he realized Booth was too focused on the underpaid downside of public school teaching at the time to have fun with the role. Lucille Ball was believed to have been the next choice, but she was already committed to My Favorite Husband and didn't audition. Chairman Bill Paley, who was friendly with Arden, persuaded her to audition for the part. With a slightly rewritten audition script--Osgood Conklin, for example, was originally written as a school board president but was now written as the incoming new Madison principal--Arden agreed to give the newly-revamped show a try. Produced by Larry Berns and written by director Al Lewis, Our Miss Brooks premiered on July 19, 1948. According to radio critic John Crosby, her lines were very "feline" in dialogue scenes with principal Conklin and would-be boyfriend Boynton, with sharp, witty comebacks. The interplay between the cast--blustery Conklin, nebbishy Denton, accommodating Harriet, absentminded Mrs. Davis, clueless Boynton, scheming Miss Enright--also received positive reviews. Arden won a radio listeners' poll by Radio Mirror magazine as the top ranking comedienne of 1948-49, receiving her award at the end of an Our Miss Brooks broadcast that March. "I'm certainly going to try in the coming months to merit the honor you've bestowed upon me, because I understand that if I win this two years in a row, I get to keep Mr. Boynton," she joked. But she was also a hit with the critics; a winter 1949 poll of newspaper and magazine radio editors taken by Motion Picture Daily named her the year's best radio comedienne. For its entire radio life, the show was sponsored by Colgate-Palmolive-Peet, promoting Palmolive soap, Lustre Creme shampoo and Toni hair care products. The radio series continued until 1957, a year after its television life ended. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Our_Miss_Brooks
