If You See These First Signs, You Are Developing Bone Cancer! ia very informative video you can watch more like this subscribe to our channel for daily updates our channel link https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWvbgwdELF-rWmyxuk7k8QA i explained in this video Bone cancer develop when cells in the bone divide without control, forming a mass of tissue. Although bone tumors cannot spread, they may still weaken bone and lead to fractures or cause other problems. According to research, the most common type of bone cancer is called osteosarcoma, which affects bone cartilage cells. Here are some symptoms that will help you detect bone cancer: * Pain Pain in the area where the cancer is growing is the most common bone cancer sign reported by patients. The pain will not be constant at first, and may come and go. If you notice this kind of pain, consult a specialist immediately. * Fractures Bone cancer can weaken the bone, but most of the time the bones do not break. People with a fracture next to or through a bone cancer usually describe sudden extreme pain in a limb that had been sore for a few months. * Difficulty moving In some cases, when the tumor affects a joint, it will become difficult to make certain movements. The person may have trouble getting around if the tumor affects the joint of the leg. Also, if the cancer cells are spread at the spine, they can affect a nerve and result in numbness and chills in the limbs. * Swelling If you notice that a certain part of your body is swollen, it means that the tumor is about to spread. A person may also feel a lump or mass, depending on the tumor's location. These are the rare symptoms: • Sudden weight loss • Perspiration • Chills • Fatigue • Fever

04:14
20 early warning signs that cancer is growing in your body 1. Wheezing/shortness of breath Lung cancer patients remember noticing this as one of their first symptoms but didn't initially connect it to cancer. 2. Frequent fevers or infections Frequently a sign of leukemia, a cancer of the blood cells that starts in bone marrow. It causes the marrow to produce abnormal white blood cells that hinder your body's infection-fighting abilities. 3. Difficulty swallowing Most commonly associated with throat cancer, but can be a good indicator of lung cancer too. 4. Weakness and fatigue Such a common symptom of cancer that it should be looked at in combination with other symptoms to determine which it is. 5. Feeling full and unable to eat This is a sign of ovarian cancer. A loss of appetite even when you haven't eaten for a while is a tip-off. 6. Anorexia Could be an early sign of pancreatic cancer. A sudden disgust for coffee, wine or smoking can be linked to this as well. 7. Rectal bleeding or blood in stool Common sign of colorectal cancer. Blood in the toilet should be a big enough sign to see a doctor immediately. 8. Lumps in the neck, underarm or groin area Swollen lymph nodes indicate changes in the lymphatic system which can lead to cancer. 9. Excessive bruising or bleeding that doesn't stop Suggests abnormalities with the platelets and red blood cells, which can be a sign of leukemia. Leukemia cells crowd out red blood cells impairing your blood's ability to carry oxygen leading to clots. 10. Bloating or abdominal weight gain Ovarian cancer patients reported unexplained bloating that came on suddenly and continued for a significant amount of time. 11. Unexplained weight loss An early sign of colon and other digestive cancers. Also a sign of cancer that has spread to the liver, affecting your appetite and the body's ability to get rid of waste. 12. A red, sore, or swollen breast Indicates inflammatory breast cancer, unexplained changes should be told to a doctor immediately. A nipple that appears flattened, inverted or turned sideways had also been noticed by patients diagnosed with breast cancer. 13. Swelling of facial features Lung cancer patients have reported noticing puffiness, swelling or redness of the face. Small cell lung tumors commonly block blood vessels in the chest preventing blood from flowing freely to the head. 14. Sore/lump on the skin that bleeds, becomes crusty or doesn't heal Different types of skin cancer (melanoma, basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma) can cause these, so be aware of any odd-looking growths or spots. 15. Changes in nails A brown/black dot under the nail can indicate skin cancer. Pale or white nails can be a sign of liver cancer. "Clubbing", which is the enlargement of the fingers with nails that curve down over the tips, can be a sign of lung cancer. 16. Unusually heavy or painful periods, bleeding between periods A common sign of endometrial or uterine cancer. A transvaginal ultrasound should be considered if the problem persists. 17. Chronic cough or chest pain Leukemia and lung tumors (among others), show symptoms that can mimic a bad cough or bronchitis. Some patients also reported a chest pain that extended to the shoulder and down their arm. 18. Pelvic/Abdominal pain Pain and cramping in the pelvis can be linked with the bloating signs of ovarian cancer. Leukemia also does this because it enlarges the spleen. 19. Pain in back or lower right side Often an early sign of liver cancer. Breast cancer can also be found through this as a breast tumor can press backward into the chest or spread to the spine/ribs. 20. Upset stomach Stomach cramps or a frequently upset stomach can be a sign of colorectal cancer. Subscribe ► https://goo.gl/1dVtUS Thank you for watching. Sciatica vs Cauda Equina Syndrome (MEDICAL EMERGENCY!)

03:09
Sciatica vs Cauda Equina Syndrome http://SayonaraSciatica.com In this video I discuss the difference between sciatica and cauda equina syndrome. Sciatica is a symptom caused by compression of the sciatic nerve in the lumbar spine or the pelvic region. Some of the most common causes of sciatica include herniated or bulging discs, degenerative disc disease and spinal stenosis, and problems in the pelvis such as sacroiliac joint dysfunction (SI joint) and piriformis syndrome. Symptoms commonly seen with sciatica include sharp pain in the low back that can travel down the legs with sensation such as numbness and tingling. Cauda Equina Syndrome (CES) is VERY rare, however, it is very important to know its symptoms because it is a medical emergency. Although it can be caused by several things such as tumors, infections, or severe trauma to the spine, the most common cause is a severely herniated disc that puts pressure on the Cauda Equina. Symptoms seen with CES include loss of function of the bowel and bladder. This loss of function can cause either incontinence or retention. Incontinence means that you cannot hold urine or feces so if you urinate or defecate uncontrollably you need to get to the emergency room fast. Retention means the opposite. If you can't empty your bladder or colon then that is a problem as well. Saddle anesthesia is another classic red flag with CES. If you have severe numbness in the area of the inner thighs, genitals, anus, and buttocks, this is a medical emergency. CES can also affect the legs so sensations of extreme numbness in the legs or paralysis can also be seen. Treatment of CES usually involves emergency surgery where pressure is removed from the cauda equina. If you have herniated discs in the low back, this video shows you a natural way to treat them through disc decompression therapy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2HnwVNJdVs If you're looking for ways to treat sciatica without risky back surgery, painful epidural injections, or addicting painkillers, make you visit http://painfreeinstitute.net For the best exercises for sciatica, check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfWIRyGbxSA Connect with me on Facebook: http://Facebook.com/AtlantaChiropractor Follow with me on Twitter: http://Twitter.com/DrJoseGuevara Follow me on Instagram: http://Instagram.com/DrJoseGuevara Subscribe to my YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/drjoseguevara For the best sciatica exercises go to http://painfreeinstitute.net/best-3-sciatica-home-exercises/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqBIC6POvW0 Sciatica vs Cauda Equina Syndrome

Why Do I Have Pain In The Groin?

02:50
Related: How To Know If You Have Kidney Stones https://youtu.be/d_s-Q4Y3ADk What Causes Kidney Stones? Causes And Risk Factors https://youtu.be/yb6T4jGyW0k Groin Pain https://youtu.be/9_b5P2wkGD4 Vasectomy Side Effects https://youtu.be/2irMheZ0uEQ Why Do I Have Pain In The Groin? The term "groin pain" can actually have multiple meanings. Groin pain typically refers to discomfort from an injury to the upper thigh region, Groin injuries are fairly common in sports and often result from muscle pulls or strains in the general area where the legs meet. But groin pain can also refer to any pain or discomfort in the lower abdomen. Such pains may be caused by conditions, disorders or diseases of the organs in the pelvic area. In males, groin pain may refer to pain that's felt in the scrotum or testicles. Here's a list of the most common causes of groin pain. Groin injury As mentioned above, this often involves the muscles in the lower abdomen or upper thighs. It typically occurs in athletes when the muscles of the inner thigh, known as abductors, are stretched or torn. These injuries can be serious and should get medical attention as quickly as possible. In most cases though, a "groin pull" will heal on it's own with time and rest. Testicular injury Although most men wear protective devices when playing sports, testicular injuries still happen. Testicular cancer This is an extremely dangerous cause of groin pain. However, early detection of testicular cancer can usually be successful. Hip and pelvis injuries. Fractures and serious injuries in the hip and pelvic regions can make the entire area painful. Hernia Part of the body slips through a tear or opening in an adjacent part. This occurs most often in the abdomen and can result in groin pain. Swollen groin lymph nodes This happens sometimes in cases involving sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Spinal/nerve problems When there's a problem in the spine, such as a slipped disc, pain can radiate down to the groin. Kidney stones The first symptom of kidney stones is usually pain in the back or flank area. But a kidney stone can also trigger pain in the lower abdomen or testicles Orchitis This is a condition in which the testicles become inflamed and painful. Swelling and infection are typical. Orchitis, which is sometimes spelled orchiditis, is serious and should receive medical attention as soon as possible. Keep in mind, your doctor's recommendations may vary. Also keep in mind that when dealing with abdominal problems, you should rely only on the advice of a medical professional. I've produced other videos on some of the individual diseases I've described. You can click on the links in the description section above to watch them.

HIP PAIN ,COMMON CAUSES- Everything You Need To Know - Dr. Nabil Ebraheim

04:57
Dr. Ebraheim’s educational animated video describing conditions and treatment methods associated with pain of the hip. Pain can arise from structures that are within the hip joint or from structures surrounding the hip. The hip joint is a weight-bearing joint. The joint consists of two main parts: 1.Ball (femoral head) 2.Socket (acetabulum of the pelvis) Anterior hip pain (deep groin pain) 1-Arthritis of the hip Treatment •Conservative treatment: physical therapy, anti-inflammatory medication, injections •Surgical treatment: total hip replacement. 2-Labral tear •Diagnosis by MRI. •Conservative treatment: physical therapy, anti-inflammatory medication, injections •Surgical treatment: debridement or repair. 3-Stress fracture •Diagnosis usually by MRI. •Surgical treatment: usually fixation of the fracture is performed. Early diagnosis is important. 4-Avascular necrosis Treatment •Conservative cases: diagnosis by MRI. Early stages treatment includes decompression and stem cell injection. •Severe cases: usually diagnosed by X-ray. Severe cases treatment includes total hip replacement. •Intermediate cases: intermediate treatment includes vascularized fibular graft. Lateral hip pain Trochanteric bursitis Treatment •Conservative treatment:physical therapy, anti-inflammatory medication, injections. •Surgical treatment: excision of the bursa rarely utilized. Posterior hip pain Piriformis syndrome Conservative treatment •Physical therapy & stretching •Anti-inflammatory medication •Injections Surgical treatment in rare cases with release of the piriformis tendon. Far posterior pain (SI joint and lower spine conditions) •Injection of the SI joint is the only method to diagnose pain of the SI joint.

Post Bowel Movement Discomfort in Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndromes

04:01
An estimated 1/3 of patients with Chronic Pelvic Pain Symptoms complain of bowel movement discomfort. These symptoms could also contribute to constipation. In work with patients, we've noticed extra contractions in the pelvic floor contributing to a chronic tightening, increasing in painful symptoms. This is all because of a series of communications occuring between the muscles and nerves. Wise-Anderson Protocol Founder and Author of "A Headache in the Pelvis" David Wise, Ph. D, explains. 20 Symptoms That Tell You That You May Have Cancer And You Did Not Know

04:42
20 Symptoms That Tell You That You May Have Cancer And You Did Not Know When we feel some discomfort, a slight pain or see some change in our body, we usually have the bad habit of not worrying. When these symptoms get worse, we ask for an appointment with the doctor, but in many cases, the appointments available are for at least two or three weeks. It is therefore important to know that there are certain symptoms that, although they do not seem serious, are indicators that you suffer a more severe disease. These are the 20 symptoms you should be concerned about! 1- Back pain and low back pain Many patients diagnosed with liver cancer claim to have back pain. Sometimes back pain may indicate breast cancer as the tumor presses on the chest and ribs. Whitish nails Whitish nails are often a sign of liver cancer, while brown spots on the nails may indicate skin cancer. In addition to this, the curvature of the nails can be a sign of lung cancer. 3- Puffy face Many lung cancer patients have a swollen or red face due to the fact that lung tumors block the blood vessels in the chest and restrict blood flow to the face. 4- Red, swollen, or tender breasts It is a clear sign of breast cancer 5- Changes in the nipples Changes in the nipple are the most common sign of breast cancer. 6- Painful skin lumps These lumps or bleeding may indicate skin cancer or basal cell melanoma. 7- Painful or irregular period This often indicates uterine cancer, so be sure to check it out urgently 8- Chronic cough or chest pain A persistent cough may be a sign of various types of cancer, tumors and leukemia. Lung cancer causes chest pain that extends to the shoulder and arm 9- Breathing short A potential sign of lung cancer. 10- Fevers and infections Fevers and frequent infections can indicate leukemia, as infectious blood cells remove all energy shields from the body. 11- Inflammation of the lymph nodes, neck, armpits and English Swollen lymph nodes often indicate lymphatic cancer. 12- Fatigue or weakness It is not very worrisome, but if it occurs repeatedly and without apparent cause it can be a sign of cancer 13- Hematomas and hemorrhages that do not stop This is a sign of leukemia, as this disease inhibits the transport of oxygen and leads to coagulation. 14- Difficulty swallowing This problem may be a sign of cancer of the throat, esophagus or lung. 15- Abdominal fat and swelling Weight gain in the abdominal area and swelling are often signs of ovarian cancer. 16- Abdominal or abdominal pain They can be a sign of colorectal cancer. 17- Pelvic pain, cramps around the pelvis and swelling They may indicate ovarian cancer or leukemia, because the spleen is enlarged. 18- Little appetite It is a common sign of ovarian cancer and many sufferers report having less appetite than normal. 19- Hemorrhage in the stool or rectal bleeding They are another sign of colorectal cancer, this is more evident, so you should go to the doctor right away. 20- Sudden weight loss Unexplained weight loss may indicate cancer of the rectum or of some digestive organ. If it affects the liver, it inhibits the body’s ability to remove waste material. https://youtu.be/zlv-69ESPfc

9 Warning Signs of Bone Marrow Cancer

09:36
Like, Comment, Subscribe and invite all your friends to see our videos. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUOF1_1_fY50PVN0TtItbDQ?sub_confirmation=1 9 Warning Signs of Bone Marrow Cancer 1. Exhaustion One of the earliest signs of multiple myeloma is a general feeling of exhaustion that fails to go away, even when one gets lots of rest and follows a healthy diet. These feelings of fatigue are usually related to the way multiple myeloma attacks the healthy cells of the bone marrow, which in many cases can result in anemia or inconsistent cytokine production. Because feelings of fatigue are fairly common, this symptom should be considered in combination with other signs of multiple myeloma on this list. For example, someone who has a family history of cancer, and especially bone marrow cancer, will want to be tested for multiple myeloma if they suddenly experience a long, generally unbreaking wave of exhaustion lasting several days or weeks. 2. Anemia Anemia, which occurs when the number of red blood cells reaches critically low levels, results from multiple myeloma because it causes the suppression or crowding out of healthy red blood cells. The most common side effect of anemia is an overpowering feeling of fatigue that may not break even with healthy diet, ample rest, fluids, or stimulants like caffeine. This feeling of general exhaustion can last for days or even weeks at a time. However, it should be noted that anemia is not only related to multiple myeloma and the development of bone marrow cancer. It can result from a number of other health conditions, from pregnancy to menstruation and iron and vitamin deficiency. Simply failing to get enough iron in the diet can cause anemia. 3. Pain in the bones One of the more obvious and distinct signs of multiple myeloma is feelings of pain in the bones. This is because multiple myeloma forms in the marrow of the bone and, as time goes on, its suppression of healthy red blood cells can cause the bone to thin and weaken, resulting in osteoporosis. Once this stage is reached, the chance of fracturing or completely breaking the affected bone increases substantially. It also results in mild to moderate feelings of pain in and around the bone. This pain may be more noticeable if the problem involves particularly critical bones, such as the spine, which are responsible for supporting multiple parts of the body. This pain tends to increase with movement and may be considerably more noticeable during the evening and early morning hours. If the spine is affected, the patient may experience compression fractures that cause slumping; over time, this could even result in a patient losing a few inches from their height. 4. Numbness Because multiple myeloma targets the healthy red blood cells of the bone marrow, in time it can cause the patient’s bones to weaken. While this often results in the affected bones becoming frailer and painful, it can also lead to general feelings of numbness. This sensation of numbness is most pronounced when multiple myeloma invades the vertebrae of the spine. As the problem spreads through the spine, it causes the bones to weaken, resulting in vertebrae coming into contact with each other and the nerves spiraling around the spine. In touching upon these highly sensitive nerves, multiple myeloma effectively scrambles the signal traveling between the brain and spine, leaving the area feeling numb. 5. Kidney problems If not caught early on, multiple myeloma can eventually lead to significant problems in the kidney. This is because the development of multiple myeloma results in the emergence of proteins that, when produced to excess — as they often are when multiple myeloma takes hold — can put undue pressure on the kidneys, resulting in damage or even kidney failure. Ideally, the patient would recognize other signs and symptoms of multiple myeloma — such as excessive fatigue or bone pain — and be able to take action prior to reaching the stage where kidney problems emerge. However, should those signs not raise flags, the emergence of kidney-related issues should be identified as a possible sign of multiple myeloma. 6. Hypercalcemia Over time, multiple myeloma results in the production of cancerous cells that effectively push healthy cells out of the bone marrow. This makes the bone feel weak, painful, and potentially numb. In time, it could cause the bone to fracture or completely break. This wearing down of the bones through multiple myeloma also results in a condition known as hypercalcemia, which emerges when there is an excessive amount of calcium in the blood. Hypercalcemia is often found in people with multiple myeloma, because their bones, which contain calcium, are effectively breaking down. Hypercalcemia introduces its own, rather significant health problems, from exhaustion to constipation and kidney issues. 7. Weight loss 8. Mental confusion 9. 10 Symptoms of Bladder Cancer

05:50
10 Symptoms of Bladder Cancer The bladder is a balloon-like organ located below the stomach. The kidneys produce the urine that is stored in the bladder. Bladder cancer develops from cancerous cells in the lining of the bladder. These cancer cells then start to grow, forming tumors. If left untreated, bladder cancer can spread to the kidneys, lungs, bones, and brain. Bladder cancer is the fourth-most-common cancer among American men. Women get bladder cancer too, but it’s less common. Bladder cancer symptoms can provide a warning that it’s time to see a doctor. 1. Blood in the Urine. One of the most common symptoms of bladder cancer is blood in the urine. This is due to inflammation in the lining of the bladder. Patients might ignore this symptom for some time because they hop it will go away. Women with bloody urine often believe it’s just menstrual blood. Bladder cancer patients can shed large blood clots from their bladder which cause the urine to turn bright red or orange. A simple urine test detects the presence of blood in the urine. 2. Painful Urination. Pain while peeing is a common symptom of bladder cancer. Painful urination is called dysuria. Cancer tumors irritate the nerves in the bladder lining, causing pain. If left untreated, dysuria gets worse with time. Men with bladder cancer often feel pain while urinating. This pain comes from their prostate, penis, and pelvic area. Pain during urination is not normal. People with dysuria should seek medical attention. 3. Frequent Urination. Feeling the urge to release urine frequently is a symptom of bladder cancer. This is also a symptom of many other conditions like urinary tract infections, obesity, and menopause. Bladder cancer tumors can grow inside the bladder which signals the brain that the bladder is full. Cancer cells can also irritate the bladder walls. Some bladder cancer patients experience urine retention because they can’t fully empty their bladder. 4. Frequent Urinary Tract Infections. Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are common, especially in women. Urinary tract infections that keep coming back are a common symptom of bladder cancer. As cancer cells grow inside the bladder, infections can happen more often. Patients who have frequent UTIs have bladder cancer screening done. 5. Flank Pain. Pain in the lower back and sides can also be a symptom of bladder cancer. When cancer cells irritate the lining of the bladder, the pain and inflammation can spread to one or both of the kidneys. Bladder cancer can start in the kidneys or ureters as well, leading to flank pain. 6. Swelling and Pain in the Legs. If bladder cancer spreads beyond the lining of the bladder, pain and swelling throughout the body can occur. This happens when the bladder cancer moves into the lymph nodes. Pain and swelling may impact the lower legs of people with advanced bladder cancer. Swelling in the feet is also common in bladder cancer patients. 7. Pelvic Growths. Most forms of bladder cancer can cause cancerous growths within the bladder. If bladder cancer spreads, growths can develop outside the bladder throughout the pelvic area. Bladder cancer that spreads is called muscle-invasive bladder cancer. Pelvic growths put pressure on other organs, including the intestines, bowels, and prostate gland, causing severe discomfort and pain. 8. Bone Pain. Advanced bladder cancer can spread into the bones, causing bone pain. This pain typically begins close to the urinary tract. It impacts areas like the anus, rectum, and pelvic region. Bone pain can also radiate to the hips and ribs as well, making walking difficult. Patients with bone pain related to cancer often have trouble managing the pain. 9. Anemia. Anemia occurs when there are not enough red blood cells. It is caused by an excess of white blood cells, which are the cells the body produces when cancer is present. Anemia can also develop in people with bladder cancer due to loss of blood during a radical cystectomy, which is surgery to remove the cancerous organ. 10. Weight Loss. Weight loss is often associated with different forms of cancers, and bladder cancer is not the exception. Cancer treatments can also cause nausea, resulting in even more weight loss. A person who has cancer may not be getting the proper nutrients that their body needs to fight off infections and illnesses. Consulting with a physician about vitamins and nutrients is also suggested. Male Pelvic Pain – It’s Not Prostatitis or Any Other Itis!

05:37
DISCLAIMER: This video is no substitute for in-person treatment and is for demonstration purposes only. If you suffer from any physical condition and illness, please consult your doctor before receiving any form of treatment. Hey guys! It’s Hina Sheth from Rebalance Physical Therapy. I wanted to talk to you today about reasons why men are having rectal pain, testicular pain, scrotal pain and any other pain in that area. Most physicians don’t realize there’s a group of muscles called the Pelvic Floor that might be the culprit on why you are experiencing all the pain in this region. What is the Pelvic Floor? Your pelvic bones connect in the front to form the pubic bone and In the back to form your sacrum. Underneath, there’s a group of muscles called the Pelvic Floor that connect from the pubic bone all the way to the sit bones, tailbone and sacrum. This spans the saddle area that you sit on. Any pressure will create tension in these muscles. The Pelvic Floor muscles line the openings of the pelvis. Pain in this area likely means the Pelvic Floor muscles are really taut or strained. There could also be taut bands called trigger points that could create pain in this area and even refer pain into the sexual organs. What are Symptoms of Pelvic Floor Dysfunction? Tension in the Pelvic Floor can even affect your release of urine. You might notice you’re having urinary retention, a hard time releasing urine, or even constipation. You also might experience pain – often we hear that it feels like there’s a golf ball, or something foreign in the rectum. Other symptoms you might have include: • Abdominal pain • Bladder pain • Prostatitis-like symptoms (inflammation of the prostate) All of those symptoms could be the result of tight muscles in the pelvic floor. What do you do? Ideally, you need to see a specialized physical therapist that treats men and pelvic floor dysfunction and understands how the pelvic floor is integrated into pelvis, hip and low/mid-back. Those areas often all need to be treated together in order to treat this dysfunction. If you’re in the Philadelphia-area, visit our website www.rebalancept.com for more information or to schedule a complimentary phone consultation. If you’re not in the area but are seeking a recommendation, contact us and we can help you find a professional in your area.
Buttocks Pain: Not a Laughing Matter

Related: Buttock Pain From Piriformis Syndrome https://youtu.be/evH2-jGQZDw Hip And Buttock Pain Causes https://youtu.be/NWZsU_kznrM Buttock Pain From Sciatica https://youtu.be/Dthco7Oy9QI Buttocks Pain - Not a Laughing Matter It's easy to make fun of buttocks pain, but for anyone suffering from a certain conditions and disorders, pain in the buttocks is not laughing matter. People tend to make a joke of it: calling someone a pain in the buttocks is not a compliment. It can be a symptom of a number of serious problems. This video covers the most common. Sciatica - This is pain, weakness, numbness, or tingling in the legs or buttocks caused by damage or compression of the sciatic nerve. The sciatic nerve is one of the largest nerves in the human body, and passes from the spine down through the buttocks down hrough the legs. When there's a problem anywhere along the pathway of the sciatic nerve, pain is likely. Besides discomfort, sciatica can also cause tingling or a "pins and needles" sensation. Arthritis - Arthritis, the painful inflammation and stiffness of the joints that often comes with age, can strike any joint in the body. If the hip joints become arthritic, buttocks pain is sure to follow. Sacroiliitis - This is an inflammation of the sacroiliac joint, which connects the base of the spine to the pelvis This inflammation causes low back pain and buttocks pain. Paget's disease of bone - This affects the rate at which old bone breaks down and is replaced by new bone. When this process is impaired, bones and become fragile and misshapen. Osteoporosis - As you get older, your bones get thinner and more brittle as they lose calcium and phosphate. They become more susceptible to pressure and stress, which can cause pain. Bursitis - A bursa is a small fluid-filled sac that helps your joints work smoothly. When a bursa becomes injured or inflamed, it triggers discomfort, and that discomfort sometimes occurs in the area of the buttocks. Gluteal claudication - This is a medical term that basically means an area of the buttocks is not getting a sufficient supply of blood. Cancers - Cancers of the lower digestive tract, urinary system and reproductive organs may cause buttocks pain. Pregnancy - Finally, carrying a baby to term puts a lot of stress on a woman's lower back and buttocks. This strain often results in buttocks pain as well as low back pain. While I hope I've given you some basics here, please remember that you should only rely on the advice of a medical professional for a diagnosis of pain you're experiencing in the buttocks area. I've produced a number of other videos on related subjects. You can click on the links in the description section above this video screen to watch them.

7 Cervical Cancer Symptoms You Should Absolutely Never Ignore

05:53
7 Cervical Cancer Symptoms You Should Absolutely Never Ignore The stirrups... the speculum... the jelly that your gyno never seems to get totally cleaned up. Yeah, Paps are a (somewhat literal) pain, but cervical cancer was once the number-one leading cause of cancer death in American, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Now, thanks to Paps, which can ID issues before they become cancerous, it doesn't even crack the top 10. Still, the American Cancer Society estimates that 13,240 new cases of invasive cervical cancer will be diagnosed in 2018—31 percent of which will be fatal. And the CDC reports that six out of every 10 cervical cancers occur in women who have never received a Pap test or have not been tested in the past five years. (FYI, all women between the ages of 21 and 65 years old should be getting a Pap smear every three years from 21 to 30, and every five years from 30 to 65, according to the CDC.) “In fact, one of the biggest risk factors of getting cervical cancer is not having had a Pap smear within the past five years," says Eloise Chapman-Davis, M.D., a gynecological oncologist at Weill Cornell Medicine and New York-Presbyterian. However, she notes that you shouldn’t just rely on a Pap to flag any issues. It's also important to watch out for cervical cancer symptoms, which can develop in cases of more developed cancer growths. Translation: If you spot any symptoms of cervical cancer, it's worth talking to your gyno and getting checked out asap. 1. Totally Not-Normal Vaginal Bleeding “One of the most common symptoms of cervical cancer is vaginal bleeding, whether it’s in between your periods, after sex, or after menopause,” says Taraneh Shirazian, M.D., a gynecologist at NYU Langone Health. Abnormal vaginal bleeding is generally a symptom of advanced cervical cancer, because it means that a tumor on the cervix is spreading to affect nearby tissue, Chapman-Davis adds. Call your gyno asap. 2. Periods That Are Heavy AF This isn’t about your period lasting a day longer or suddenly seeming a bit darker. “Rather, it’s your period all of sudden lasting two weeks instead of four days, or having two periods in one month,” says Shirazian. But to play it safe, it you have any changes in your cycle that last for at least two cycles (heavier, lighter, whatever!), it's worth talking to your gynecologist, she says. 3. WTF-Worthy Vaginal Discharge Discharge is totally normal, but the type of discharge you experience could be an indicator of a number of different vaginal health issues. “With cervical cancer, you might notice a discharge that’s foul-smelling and pink, brown, or bloody, potentially with chunks of tissue, or what we call necrotic material,” says Shirazian. And because “masses and tumors secrete fluid, that could contribute to a continuous, watery discharge that seems to occur for no reason,” says Chapman-Davis. Go ahead and give your gyno a call. 4. Pelvic, Back, or Leg Pain Pelvic pain could be an indicator of changes to the cervix, but advanced cervical cancer can even spread to the bladder, intestines, or even the lungs and liver, says Chapman-Davis. “Then you might have things like back pain or leg pain,” she says. “But that’s typically associated with very advanced cases because the cervix isn’t really affecting a lot of nerves.” Talk to your primary care doc to rule out cervical cancer as well as other potential nerve causes. 5. Major Fatigue Because most cervical cancer symptoms don’t come along until it enters more advanced stages, it does share some symptoms with all cancers. "Fatigue is definitely one of those symptoms," says Shirazian. One reason why: Abnormal vaginal bleeding, one of the major symptoms of cervical cancer, can actually lower the amount of red blood cells and oxygen in the body, causing you to feel utterly exhausted all the time, usually with no other explanation. If you are dealing with chronic fatigue, your doctor will likely check your iron and red blood cell levels. check out these five signs 6. Feeling Like You're Going To Barf—All The Time 7. Swollen lymph nodes (lymphadenopathy) are common. Cancer and infection can be causes for lymph node enlargement or inflammation (felt as pain). This can occur in the cervical (neck), epitrochlear (elbow), axillary (arm pit), and inguinal (groin) areas. Although lymph nodes are commonly referred to as glands, they are not true glands. This video explains this symptom and the reasons a person would want to get evaluation by a Medical Doctor in case medical treatment might be required. Early Signs that Cancer is Growing in Your Body

16:15
Don’t rely on routine tests alone to protect you from cancer. It’s just as important to listen to your body and notice anything that’s different, odd, or unexplainable. Here are some signs that are commonly overlooked: 1. Wheezing or shortness of breath One of the first signs many lung cancer patients remember noticing is the inability to catch their breath. 2. Chronic cough or chest pain Several types of cancer, including leukemia and lung tumors, can cause symptoms that mimic a bad cough or bronchitis. Some lung cancer patients report chest pain that extends up into the shoulder or down the arm. 3. Frequent fevers or infections These can be signs of leukemia, a cancer of the blood cells that starts in the bone marrow. Leukemia causes the marrow to produce abnormal white blood cells, sapping your body’s infection-fighting capabilities. 4. Difficulty swallowing Trouble swallowing is most commonly associated with esophageal or throat cancer, and is sometimes one of the first signs of lung cancer, too. 5. Swollen lymph nodes or lumps on the neck, underarm, or groin Enlarged lymph nodes indicate changes in the lymphatic system, which can be a sign of cancer. 6. Excessive bruising or bleeding that doesn’t stop This symptom usually suggests something abnormal happening with the platelets and red blood cells, which can be a sign of leukemia. Over time, leukemia cells crowd out red blood cells and platelets, impairing your blood’s ability to carry oxygen and clot. 7. Weakness and fatigue Generalized fatigue and weakness is a symptom of so many different kinds of cancer that you’ll need to look at it in combination with other symptoms. But any time you feel exhausted without explanation and it doesn’t respond to getting more sleep, talk to your doctor. 8. Bloating or abdominal weight gain Women diagnosed with ovarian cancer overwhelmingly report unexplained abdominal bloating that came on fairly suddenly and continued on and off over a long period of time. 9. Feeling full and unable to eat This is another tip-off to ovarian cancer; women say they have no appetite and can’t eat, even when they haven’t eaten for some time. 10. Pelvic or abdominal pain Pain and cramping in the pelvis and abdomen can go hand in hand with the bloating that often signals ovarian cancer. Leukemia can also cause abdominal pain resulting from an enlarged spleen. 11. Rectal bleeding or blood in stool This is a common result of diagnosing colorectal cancer. Blood in the toilet alone is reason to call your doctor and schedule a colonoscopy. 12. Unexplained weight loss Weight loss is an early sign of colon and other digestive cancers; it’s also a sign of cancer that’s spread to the liver, affecting your appetite and the ability of your body to rid itself of wastes. 13. Upset stomach or stomachache Stomach cramps or frequent upset stomachs may indicate colorectal cancer. 14. A red, sore, or swollen breast These symptoms can indicate inflammatory breast cancer. Call your doctor about any unexplained changes to your breasts. 15. Nipple changes One of the most common changes women remember noticing before being diagnosed with breast cancer is a nipple that began to appear flattened, inverted, or turned sideways. 16. Unusually heavy or painful periods or bleeding between periods Many women report this as the tip-off to endometrial or uterine cancer. Ask for a transvaginal ultrasound if you suspect something more than routine heavy periods. 17. Swelling of facial features Some patients with lung cancer report noticing puffiness, swelling, or redness in the face. Small cell lung tumors commonly block blood vessels in the chest, preventing blood from flowing freely from your head and face. 18. A sore or skin lump that doesn’t heal, becomes crusty, or bleeds easily Familiarize yourself with the different types of skin cancer —melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, and squamous cell carcinoma — and be vigilant about checking skin all over your body for odd-looking growths or spots.

Spinal Tumor Symptoms & Reasons

01:27
Back pain, especially in the middle or lower back, is the most frequent symptom of spinal tumors. The pain may increase with activity and is often worse at night. Tumors growing within the vertebrae can make the spinal bones weak, causing them to break and collapse, a condition called a compression fracture. The vertebral fractures, as well as the tumors themselves, can compress spinal cord or spinal nerves, causing pain, numbness and muscle weakness in the arms or legs, or even paralysis with loss of bowel or bladder control in the portion of the body below the tumor. Primary spinal tumors develop inside the spinal canal. They are caused by DNA mutations within cells, which can be inherited from a parent or acquired during the person's lifetime. Metastatic spinal tumors spread from cancerous cells outside the spine to the vertebrae, moving through the circulatory system to the bone marrow, where they form tumors.

Ovarian Cyst: Its Symptoms, Diagnosis, Causes and Treatment

05:20
Dr Sweta Gupta (Clinical Director, Medicover Fertility) explaining Ovarian Cyst, its Symptoms, Diagnosis, Causes and Treatment Video Transcript Q) What are Ovarian Cysts? 0:23 A) An ovarian cyst is a large fluid sac that can develop within or on an ovary. It can be simple, which means thin walled filled with fluid or can be complex that it is may contain thick fluid, blood or solid areas. Q) How common are Ovarian Cysts? 0:44 A) Ovarian Cyst is very common. Most women are unaware that they are often without any symptom and disappear spontaneously with time. But 1 in 10 women may need surgery at some point in their lives. Q) What are the Symptoms? 1:03 A) They are often asymptomatic and found • incidentally during physical examination by Gynaecologist, or • when a patient shows some symptoms like nausea, vomiting, pain in the abdomen, pelvis, lower back, thigh, and unusual bleeding. Q) How are Ovarian Cysts Diagnosed? 1:23 A) As said they are usually diagnosed by • a physical examination by a gynaecologist • imaging studies • a pelvic ultrasound or an MRI Q) What are the Causes of Ovarian Cyst? 1:37 A) The most common causes of ovarian cysts are • Hormonal problem – Hormonal Problems as seen in Polycystic Ovarian Disease. • Endometriosis – In women who have endometriosis they can develop a cyst filled with blood called endometrioma. • Pregnancy – In early pregnancy, a small ovarian cyst called a corpus luteal cyst normally develops to support the pregnancy until the placenta forms. • Severe pelvic infections – In case of severe pelvic infections it can spread to the ovaries and fallopian tubes and cause cysts to form. Q) Can Ovarian Cyst affect Fertility? 2:10 A) Not all ovarian cysts affect fertility. Some cysts that become very large and require treatment by surgery or medications can affect fertility. Polycystic ovaries and endometrioma are known to affect fertility. Q) Can Ovarian Cyst cause Cancer? 2:29 A) Yes, rarely ovarian cysts can be cancerous. The risk increases with age. Post-menopausal women with ovarian cysts have a higher risk of developing ovarian cancer. Q) What are the Treatments of Ovarian Cysts? 2:47 A) The treatment option is dependent on the patient’s age, their fertility status, symptoms and how large the cyst is. Treatment can be conservative or medical in which patient is told to wait and watch as the majority of cysts disappear on their own. In case of larger cysts or symptomatic like pain during periods or in cases of twisting of the ovary then surgical removal of the cyst is recommended. Complex cyst usually requires further evaluation and surgical removal may be needed. Q) Why come to Medicover Fertility for the treatment of Ovarian Cyst? 3:27 A) Medicover Fertility is a clinic with International standards and high success rate that uses advanced fertility treatments and enable couples with severe infertility problems to successfully conceive. As we know that all ovarian cysts do not cause infertility. Some cysts tend to go on their own and some can be managed through medications. But a cause like the polycystic ovary syndrome, endometrioma, and some ovarian tumour a patient should see a doctor sooner as it may reduce fertility if left untreated, in fact, a further plan of fertility treatment should be timely discussed. In cases where they are looking for pregnancy, we treat these patients with the individualistic treatment plan. In some cases where the patient have been trying for a long time or have some other factors causing infertility, we at Medicover can maximise their chance of fertility by IVF technology. In some cases of a complex cyst, we have a team of doctors who have vast experience and have had advanced training in performing minimally invasive surgery that is laparoscopy for the removal of these complicated cysts. #ovariancysts #femaleinfertility #medicoverfertility IVF Animated Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jfFm... 10 Warning Signs of Ovarian Cysts Women Should Not Ignore

07:35
10 Warning Signs of Ovarian Cysts Women Should Not Ignore Link video: https://youtu.be/ImYvke_mvJw Here are 10 warning signs of ovarian cysts that women should not ignore. 1. Pelvic Pain Pain in the pelvic area or the lower back is one of the strongest indications of ovarian cysts. The growth of an ovary cyst exerts pressure on the surrounding areas, leading to intense pain. You may experience such pelvic pain when you are in the middle of your menstrual cycle. 2. Stomach Bloating Fullness or heaviness in the abdomen is a common issue that occurs during menstruation. But stomach bloating may happen for many other reasons, including an ovarian cyst as well as ovarian cancer. 3. Painful Intercourse Because ovarian cysts develop in an already-crowded area, they add pressure to an area that is already under strain. So, when there is added pressure on the abdominal or pelvic region due to intercourse, it can cause a lot of pain. In fact, if a cyst becomes large, even the slightest penetration can lead to extreme pain. But for menopausal women, this also may be a sign of ovarian cancer and only a doctor can properly diagnosis the cause. 4. Frequent or Urgent Need to Urinate Another possible sign of an ovarian cyst is a constant feeling of needing to urinate or having to pee numerous times in a day. 5. Painful and Abnormal Menstruation Suddenly having a painful or abnormal menstrual cycle that involves a lot of blood discharge also can be a warning sign of an ovarian cyst. Many women who have a ruptured ovarian cyst experience more blood loss during their menstruation. Plus, there may be pain in the pelvic region just before your period starts or ends. 6. Pain during Bowel Movements Pain during bowel movements or pressure on your bowels is also a warning sign of an ovarian cyst. 7. Nausea or Vomiting Nausea or vomiting like that experienced during pregnancy can also indicate an ovarian cyst. Nausea is often a symptom of a ruptured ovarian cyst. This can happen when fluid from the cyst spills into the abdomen and irritates the peritoneal lining, which in turn can cause inflammation in the abdomen. Such inflammation can bring on a nausea-like feeling. 8. Vaginal Bleeding or Bloody Discharge When blood or excess fluid from a ruptured cyst is released into the abdomen, some of this fluid may come out of the body as vaginal bleeding or a bloody discharge. 9. Breast Tenderness In addition to nausea and vomiting, you may experience breast tenderness like that experienced during pregnancy. In fact, the constant breast tenderness could be accompanied by irregular periods. 10. Eating Problems due to Feeling of Fullness A woman who has an ovarian cyst may also have problems eating. If you are a good eater and suddenly notice a loss of appetite or you are getting full after eating just a few bites of food, this is not a good sign. It can be a warning sign of an ovarian cyst. --------------------------------- Related Videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6Kpu... Lumbar herniated disc. 2. Degenerative disc disease. 3. Isthmic spondylolisthesis. 4. Lumbar spinal stenosis. 5. Piriformis syndrome. 6. Sacroiliac joint dysfunction. More Causes of Sciatica and Sciatica-Type Symptoms. Pregnancy. Scar tissue. Muscle strain. Spinal tumor. Infection. Fracture. Common Sciatica Symptoms. Sciatica typically affects one side of the lower body and the pain radiates from the lower back to the back of the thigh, and often down the leg. Constant pain in only one side of the buttock or leg. Pain which originates in the low back or buttock. Pain that feels better when you lie down or are walking. Pain typically described as sharp or searing. A “pins-and-needles” sensation, numbness or weakness down the leg. Weakness or numbness when moving the leg or foot. Severe or shooting pain in one leg. Lower back pain that is not severe as leg pain. Pain and other symptoms in the toes. Now i will tell you about the 6 Stretches To Keep Sciatic Back And Hip Pain Under Control. 1. Camel Pose. Camel pose is quite popular yoga pose. Kneel with the hips hip-width apart with the palms facing forward on the lower back. Push the hips up and forward and bend back like a camel. Bring the hands to the heels one by one, if possible. Do this 15 to 20 times. 2. Wide Forward Fold. You can perform this stretch sitting or standing. If sitting, sit with the feet apart and knees straight, and then reach forward with the arms as you relax the neck. If standing, stand with the feet apart then hinge forward touching the floor, if possible. 3. Frog Pose. Get on all fours and spread the knees as far as possible. Move the hips forward and then bring the chest and head to the floor. 4. Wide Side Lunge. Take a wide standing stance with the toes pointed forward, and then bend forward trying to touch the ground with the fingers. Walk both hands to one foot and bend the opposite knee. Turn the other foot so that the toes face the ceiling. 5. Butterfly Stretch. Sit on the floor and spread the knees while keeping the feet touching. Then, sit with the back straight and press the knees down in order to feel the stretch. Hold the position for 30 seconds then go back to the initial position. 6. Forearm Extensor Stretch. Begin by rolling the shoulders back, then put one arm straight to the front. Flex the hand down, and cup it with the other one. Then, pull it towards the body until you feel the stretch. Physical activity also helps with this. The golden rule of sciatica prevention is to avoid sitting for many hours without moving. Types of activities such as watching TV or working at a desk may actually make things worse and increase the pain. So even if you’re not a big sports fan, try to alternate periods of sitting/lying with short walks. Taking a few steps a day will increase blood flow to the nerve and will reduce the inflammation around it. Proper posture is also very important. While sitting, always support your back and keep your feet on the ground. For this purpose, it’s better to choose a seat with good lower back support, arm rests and a swivel base. You can also slightly elevate your legs by using a book or a small box to reduce the pressure on your spine from sitting for a long period of time. If you stand for too long, place one foot on a stool from time to time. It will help one of your legs rest while the other one is working so that your chances of suffering from sciatica will decrease. And finally the right sleeping position. If you suffer from sciatic nerve pain, the best sleeping position for you is to lie flat on your back. To take the pressure off the nerve, it’s better to elevate your knees using a pillow or a rolled-up towel. This position will tilt your pelvis and will help you sleep more comfortably. thank you for watching. please like, comment, subscribe and share this video with your friends and family too.
