Paul Alexander was a young British skateboarder full of charisma and drive. He discovered the opportunities of sponsorship, travelling and recognition during a move from Leicester to Bristol in his late teens. Living with professional skateboarder Danny Wainwright he became engulfed in the fun, responsibility free lifestyle that came with his chosen pursuit of becoming a pro skateboarder. Paul seemed destined for success then something came to get him, something he’d never experienced before that would take his personal goals and freedom far away from his grasp in a seemingly never ending battle. This is his story, directed by friend and skateboarding companion Tim Crawley. "101 Reasons: Liberty Lives in New Hampshire" is a documentary adaptation of the Free State Project's list of 101 Reasons to Move to New Hampshire, which was written in 2002 by Michele Dumas. The FSP is an effort to move 20,000 liberty-minded people to a low populated state that has an existing pro-freedom culture. In 2003, participants of the FSP voted for the "Live Free or Die" state, New Hampshire, as its destination. For over 12 years the 101 Reasons list has helped inspire thousands of activists and entrepreneurs to sign up for the FSP and continue New Hampshire's reputation as a beacon for liberty. Sarah Records was a UK independent record label active between 1987 and 1995, best known for its recordings of indie pop. The label was formed in Bristol in 1987 by Clare Wadd and Matt Haynes, and grew out of the fanzine scene at the time, Haynes having previously edited Are You Scared To Get Happy?, and Wadd Kvatch. Both these fanzines had given away flexidiscs - indeed, AYSTGH had been part of the Sha-la-la organisation, a record label set up solely to produce flexidiscs. Several Sarah releases were fanzines and flexi-discs, as it was felt this summed up the aesthetic of the label better than 12" singles and albums. Sarah Records was usually seen as being grounded in the C86 jangly indie-pop sensibility, though the late Seventies DIY scene and independent yet stylish and imaginative labels such as Postcard Records, Factory and Creation, plus the mid-Eighties fanzine culture, were bigger influences. It ceased operation with the release of There and Back Again Lane, the hundredth release in the main catalogue sequence - a booklet telling the story of the label, along with a CD of representative tracks. Half-page adverts entitled "A Day For Destroying Things" in both NME and Melody Maker marked the release. "We don't do encores", the advert announced, and the label has stuck by this sentiment, with no further releases. Bands on the label included Heavenly, East River Pipe, The Orchids, The Hit Parade, Even As We Speak, Boyracer, Brighter, Blueboy, The Field Mice, Another Sunny Day, Shelley and St. Christopher. Haynes subsequently established Shinkansen Recordings, where many Sarah artists went on to record; he now edits a zine, Smoke, dedicated to writing and art inspired by London. The label also refused to participate in the multi-formatting that was common at the time, or even include singles on albums, feeling that these practices were unfair on fans. I remember reaching for my Mitchell repair books when I first started out in the business. Then, only the reference information (specs, torque values, etc) were included - it was expected that you knew how to remove a component. But back then, engine designs were common so that was no big deal. Today, though, is a different story. Modern vehicle design and technology is unique even between models made by the same manufacturer. The car itself can provide information on what ails it and access to OE info has become the norm rather than the exception. The greatest growth of information has been in the Internet - like this video you're watching now - and many technicians go to Google first for help in tackling a tough diagnostic problem. But can you trust the results? It seems that everyone and their cousin is an "expert" today in offering online advice. We talked about the need for accurate and professional-quality information with Mitchell 1's Director of Product Management, Ben Johnson in this edition of "In The Workshop" and learn more about Mitchell 1's SureTrack diagnostic resource. Danny Haynes returned to haunt his old club as Barnsley secured just their second win in 11 matches in a dramatic 4-2 win over Bristol City. Haynes, who left Ashton Gate in January, scored the hosts' second goal as they fought back from a goal down to post a solid win. Marvin Elliott's strike after just six minutes handed the Robins the advantage but he then conceded the penalty which Andy Gray converted to trigger a stunning comeback for Barnsley. Haynes put them ahead before Jacob Butterfield scored the goal of the match to put the Tykes in control at the break, with Paul McShane adding the fourth and Nicky Maynard grabbing a late consolation from the spot. Mark Robins' side carved out the first opening when Hugo Colace rifled in a 20-yard drive which was well blocked by Lewin Nyatanga. But it was City who opened the scoring when Elliott controlled Jordan Spence's pass and stroked in a low effort from inside the box. The Tykes composed themselves after the early setback and created another chance of their own when Marlon Harewood steered Matthew Hill's cross just wide of the upright. Jamal Campbell-Ryce then fired a long-range shot narrowly over as Keith Millen's men looked to apply the pressure. City were forced to make a change when Colace picked up an injury in a challenge with Campbell-Ryce, with Jacob Mellis coming on to replace him. And in the 32nd minute Elliott completed his turnaround from hero to villain as he handled in the box to allow Gray to equalise from the spot. With the home side in the ascendancy, they attacked once more and after Harewood had been brought down on the edge of the box, Kieran Trippier curled in a testing free-kick which David James tipped past the post. Maynard eluded the attentions of the Barnsley defence at the other end but was thwarted by the alert Luke Steele. And Haynes seized his moment to smash one past his former employers when he followed up Gray's lacklustre effort to drill it home just before the break. There was more to come from Barnsley and Butterfield arrowed home a wonderful strike from the left corner of the box in first-half stoppage time. More Match Highlights here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3mWawripeoVw0_T37LG8Owg02zOh1SYe Buoyed by the impressive turnaround, the home side were immediately on the front after the interval, with Gray curling a shot wide after Haynes had been denied by the legs of James. Steele went full-stretch to keep out Maynard's shot on the turn as City tried to find a way back into the match. But the points were put beyond their reach when Hull loanee McShane headed home Butterfield's cross from close range, making Maynard's late penalty, awarded following Stephen Foster's foul on Albert Adomah, a mere consolation.

More than a decade after his death, the ashes of Harry Dodson have returned to his home in Blackmoor, Hampshire. On Monday, June 19, at 2pm, Reverend Dom Clarke hosted a service at St Matthew’s Church, Blackmoor, to mark the interment of Mr Dodson’s remains. Mr Dodson, who died aged 85 on July 25, 2005, became a household name in 1987 when the 13-part series The Victorian Kitchen Garden was first shown on BBC2. His father died when he was six, which led to his move, with his mother and brother, from Surrey to Blackmoor where his grandparents lived and where his uncle, Fred Norris, was head gardener to the then Earl of Selborne. The then Earl of Selborne was Roundell Cecil Palmer, 3rd Earl of Selborne – the grandfather of the present Lord Selborne, 4th Earl of Selborne. Lord Selborne told the Bordon Herald newspaper that when Mr Dodson left Blackmoor school he began work for his uncle as “a garden boy”, earning 7s 9d (39p) a week. By the age of 27 he was one of the youngest head gardeners in the country, working for the Ward family at Chilton Foliat in Berkshire. By the 1980s Chilton was no longer viable as a traditional kitchen garden but the owners allowed Mr Dodson to use the walled garden, rent free, as a commercial nursery. Following his death, The Telegraph reported that Mr Dodson’s life changed in 1984 when Jennifer Davies, a researcher for BBC Bristol who was planning a television series on Victorian gardening, found both the walled garden and “the gardener she wanted to talk about it”. Mr Dodson’s enthusiasm for the project was said to be “immediate” and, with the blessing of the Wards, the gardens were restored and planted with period cultivars, a student apprentice was provided and filming began. The Victorian Kitchen Garden was followed by The Victorian Kitchen in which Mr Dodson joined forces with cook Ruth Mott to bring food from the garden to the dinner table. On his death his ashes remained with the undertaker who had no instructions on where they were to be buried. Only recently has it been established that he wished for his ashes to be buried in his mother’s grave at St Matthew’s Church. “We are now hoping to trace as many people as possible who knew Harry, or who were related to him, to invite them to attend the short service at Blackmoor Church on June 19 at 2pm,” Lord Selborne added. Many thanks to St. Matthew’s Church in Blackmoor for allowing me to film. http://www.poolsbyval.com/ Summer time pool parties or a late night swim is always enjoyable when you own your own pool. However, the upkeep of a swimming pool requires time, chemicals and pool care knowledge. If you dont take care of your pool, health and safety issues can arise. Proper chemical use is required to keep water PH levels accurate. Improper use can lead to swimmers getting ill, or algae and other bacteria forming in the pool. Choosing the right Pool Service Technician to trust with your home is often a difficult and risky decision. Unlike many companies in this industry, I help remove the risk because I am the owner-operator of Pools By Val, Inc cleaning and maintenance. That means that when you hire me, I will be the pool technician cleaning your swimming pool MYSELF (no strangers in your backyard every week, always me) as well as the one answering your phone calls when you have a question or a special request. I have been a Broward resident for many years now, a dedicated husband for 10 years and a daddy of 2 precious preschoolers. Also I take pride in everything my parents have taught me about honesty, hard work and faith. I would be happy to come to your home, meet with you to discuss your pool needs and give you a free estimate for pool service. A call to my cell phone number gets an immediate response most times, but should I not answer right away I typically return calls within a matter of minutes. As you might expect, my customers love the fact that Im so readily available! Thank you for visiting PoolsByVal.com Pool Cleaning Services and Maintenance in South Florida. I hope to hear from you soon. Val DeSouza 954-709-4292 PoolsByVal@hotmail.com Site: http://www.poolsbyval.com

More match highlights here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3mWawripeoVw0_T37LG8Owg02zOh1SYe Sheffield United are relegated to League One after drawing against Barnsley, although even a win would not have been enough to save them. Danny Haynes's cool finish put the Tykes in front but the hosts levelled via Matthew Lowton after 39 minutes. Lee Williamson's speculative effort was fumbled into his own net by Luke Steele but Haynes grabbed a late equaliser. Relegation rivals Crystal Palace and Doncaster assured their survival with draws against Hull and Leicester. Those results meant United would have gone down even if they had won because the Blades began the day six points adrift of safety with two games to play. It had looked as if they would take their fate to the final day as they led for much of the second half, with the other results going their way. But Doncaster's draw with Leicester and Crystal Palace's late equaliser against Hull ensured United will be playing third tier football for the first time since 1989 next season. For the Barnsley fans, who have had to endure a flat end to the campaign, sending their South Yorkshire rivals down was a moment to savour, but their side have won only one of their past nine games and will be looking forward to the close season. Despite winning their previous two games there was an air of inevitability around Bramall Lane, with United knowing that even another victory may not be enough to keep them up. It was a pulsating start to the game and the hosts could twice have taken the lead in the opening five minutes, with Williamson's low drive saved by Steele and Stephen Quinn firing an effort inches wide of the angle. Barnsley hit back, though, and wasted a golden chance when Jacob Mellis blazed over after ghosting through the Blades defence. But the Tykes made amends and went ahead with 15 minutes on the clock when Haynes raced clear following Harry Maguire's slip and calmly slotted past Steve Simonsen for his fifth league goal of the season. Neither defence were covering themselves in much glory with several errors leading to scrambles and last-ditch tackles in both penalty areas. So it was no surprise when the Blades drew level six minutes before the break when Lowton powered in a header from Williamson's dangerous free-kick. The home side continued in the ascendancy after the restart and they took the lead thanks to a calamitous error by Barnsley goalkeeper Steele on the hour. A loose ball fell to Williamson and he drilled in a low effort that Steele inexplicably let through his hands and into the net. United could not capitalise though and after Simonsen had pulled off a sublime save to deny Kieran Trippier, Barnsley drew level with six minutes remaining. Haynes stole in to head home Matt Hill's cross and ensure the curtain came down on Championship football at Bramall Lane in disappointing fashion for the hosts.

Highlights from today's npower Championship match between Bristol City and Portsmouth. The match was played out to a crowd of 17600 at Ashton Gate in Football Manager 2011 with Bristol City picking up the win with a 4 - 1 victory. Portsmouth had the better of the match to begin with, but it was City who opened the scoring through Danny Rose, who showed great technique to curl a spectacular goal into the top-left corner. Rose made it two nil by unleashing a ferocious blast into the top-right corner. Hughes pulled a goal back for Portsmouth after the break after some sloppy marking by the City defence. Portsmouth were close to grabbing an equaliser, but a change in formation gave City a free kick on the edge of the box from which Kalifa Cisse made no mistake. For the second game in a row substitute Danny Haynes had the final say; this time latching on to Edgar Ivan Pacheco's through ball and firing past the Pompey 'keeper.
