Sling Studio makes multi-camera video production so damn easy

05:22
Tito Hamze gives an in-depth review of the Sling Studio, a multi-camera production studio that turns your existing cameras wireless and makes your phones into cameras with the ability to control everything from an iPad as a switcher. It’s the most portable multi-cam setup I’ve ever used -- and it’s awesome! *Update: In my testing I only connected four cameras at most since only four streams show up on the iPad interface. But you can actually connect up to 10 cameras and switch between all of them, so the limitation is actually only up to 10 cameras which is plenty.  Article: https://techcrunch.com/2017/07/25/sling-tudio-in-depth-review/ Credits: Video Credits Written by: Tito Hamze Twitter: @titoyooo Hosted by: Tito Hamze Filmed by: Gregory Manalo, John Murillo, Tito Hamze Edited by: Tito Hamze Special Thanks to Mitch Eason, Joe Seiler, Keven Hempel and Jenni Curtice for letting me shoot at her tea shop, Luna Tea.

WT2 Real-Time Translation Earpiece

02:17
At TechCrunch's event in Shenzhen last month, we had a chance to test out the WT2, a clever and ambitious device from startup TimeKettle. It's a pair of wireless earpieces; each person in a multilingual conversation wears one, and they translate what's said into the language spoken by each participant. Tesla’s Model S P85D Is Insane

04:12
P85D is insanely fast with power for days, yet quiet, comfortable, and spacious enough to be a daily driver. The 17″ screen built into the dash is beautiful and feature-packed, but lacking some obvious functions and occasionally slower than the interface in a car that costs this much should ever be. At a base price of $105k, the P85D isn’t a feasible purchase for most. But with Tesla already promising cars in the $35k-40k range, it’s an incredible example of what this relatively young auto maker is capable of. Tesla Model X Test Drive

At an event in Fremont, California, Tesla CEO Elon Musk disclosed a bunch of specs about the car and announced that the first handful are being delivered to pre-orderers now. The first detail disclosed: the speed. Tesla’s are known for having an unreal amount of zoom when you stomp that gas pedal, and the Model X is no different. The $132,000 P90D model will do 0-60 in 3.8 seconds. The P90D model with Tesla’s rightly-named “Ludicrous” mode — an option that costs an extra $10k, bringing the price to $142,000 — brings that down to 3.2 seconds.
